Abstract

Soft skills are essential competencies that teachers must possess to create an effective, communicative, and student-centered learning process. However, the geographical conditions of SD Negeri 01 Saonek, which is located in an island area, present unique challenges, particularly related to limited access to travel outside the island and unstable communication networks. These limitations have resulted in teachers at the school not receiving adequate training in soft skill development, including communication, classroom management, and self-reflection abilities. To address this need, a socialization and training program based on microteaching was implemented as an effort to enhance teachers’ professional competencies. The microteaching method was chosen because it provides opportunities for direct practice, structured feedback, and simplified yet effective teaching simulations. The training was designed to help teachers understand good teaching techniques, build confidence, and strengthen interpersonal skills in instructional interactions. In addition, the collective feedback sessions offered participants chances to learn from one another and improve their teaching strategies based on peer observations. The results of the activity indicated an improvement in teachers’ ability to design lesson scenarios, manage classrooms, deliver material more clearly, and communicate more effectively with students. Teachers also reported increased motivation and a deeper understanding of the importance of soft skills in supporting their professionalism. Thus, the microteaching training provided new insights into the capacity-building process for teachers at SD Negeri 01 Saonek and served as a relevant solution for island schools facing limited access to conventional training. This program is expected to continue and become a model for empowering teachers in 3T regions to sustainably improve education quality.

Abstract

Local wisdom-based ecopreneurship focuses on sustainability and environmental preservation, offering midwives the opportunity to utilize local natural resources efficiently while preserving social and cultural values. In South Sulawesi, integrating ecopreneurship into midwifery education remains underexplored. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the "Bidan Elok" E-Learning platform in enhancing midwifery students ecopreneurship competency, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). A One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test design was conducted with 150 midwifery students from Gowa, Makassar, Parepare, and Palopo. The study measured competency changes before and after using local wisdom-based learning media. Results indicated a significant improvement, with average scores increasing from 58.4 (pre-test) to 82.6 (post-test). Effectiveness varied by work experience, with the highest N-Gain score (0.72) in the 0-5 years experience group and the lowest (0.60) in the 15-20 years group. E-Learning media integrated with local wisdom values effectively enhanced students ecopreneurship competency. However, more adaptive approaches are needed for students with longer work experience. This study recommends further development of technology and culture-based learning methods to strengthen ecopreneurship competency in midwifery education and support SDG achievement.

Abstract

Although various studies have examined the economic and political impacts of product boycotts, research focusing on the implementation of economic boycotts driven by religious fatwas in the Indonesian context remains scarce. This study seeks to fill that gap by analyzing the Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia) Fatwa No. 83/2023 concerning support for the Palestinian cause and the boycott of pro-Israel products, within the framework of fiqh siyasah and the concept of economic warfare. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a contextual content analysis approach, this research explores the substance and implications of the fatwa. The analysis finds that the fatwa emphasizes the moral and political dimensions of Muslim solidarity, positioning boycotts and the distribution of zakat and infaq as forms of ethical and humanitarian responsibility rather than economic instruments. Furthermore, the fatwa illustrates the integration of fiqh siyasah principles into contemporary discourse on global justice and Muslim solidarity. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of how religious authority can influence moral reasoning and collective action within Islamic economic thought. The findings provide conceptual insights for scholars, policymakers, and community leaders on the role of Islamic legal perspectives in shaping ethical responses to global political issues, while promoting peaceful and principled engagement in international relations.

Abstract

The success of adequate nutritional fulfillment during the First 1,000 Days of Life is strongly influenced by parental attitudes in decision-making related to maternal dietary patterns during pregnancy, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary feeding practices (complementary foods for breastfed infants); however, nutrition practices in accordance with recommended guidelines remain suboptimal, indicating the need for effective educational strategies. This study aimed to analyze the effect of booklet-based nutrition education during the First 1,000 Days of Life on parental attitudes at the Benteng Primary Health Care Center (UPT Puskesmas Benteng). A pre-experimental study design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach was conducted from August to September 2025 among 104 parents with children aged 0–24 months, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using an attitude questionnaire administered before and after the booklet-based nutrition education intervention and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results demonstrated a substantial increase in positive parental attitudes, from 7.7% at pretest to 88.5% at posttest, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of booklet-based nutrition education on parental attitudes. These findings confirm that booklet media are effective in enhancing positive parental attitudes toward nutritional fulfillment during the First 1,000 Days of Life and are recommended as an applicable nutrition education medium in primary health care settings.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi masalah gizi kronis yang berdampak serius terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak di Indonesia. Salah satu intervensi penting dalam pencegahan stunting adalah pemberian ASI eksklusif yang optimal, yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh status gizi ibu menyusui. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam mengolah pangan lokal bergizi yang mendukung pemberian ASI dan pencegahan stunting. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Juni 2025 di Kelurahan Pattingalloang, Kecamatan Ujung Tanah, Kota Makassar, melibatkan kelompok wanita nelayan “Fatimah Az-Zahrah” yang terdiri dari ibu menyusui dan pelaku UMKM lokal. Kegiatan ini mencakup penyuluhan dan pelatihan pangan lokal bergizi berbasis video. Hasil kegiatan post-test lebih tinggi dari hasil per-test yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dalam pemanfaatan pangan lokal, serta antusiasme tinggi untuk menerapkan pengetahuan tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan: Pendekatan ini dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan untuk mendukung ketahanan gizi keluarga sekaligus pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Undernutrition remains a public health issue requiring urgent attention. This condition has long-term impacts on toddlers' growth, development, and immune function. Therefore, appropriate nutritional interventions are essential to prevent stunting and other health complications in toddlers. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT) in improving the nutritional status of undernourished toddlers in the working area of Waindu Community Health Center, Yapen Islands Regency. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach. The sample comprised 30 toddlers aged 12-59 months classified as undernourished. Univariate analysis revealed an increase in the mean weight-for-age Z-score from -2.5 at baseline intervention to -1.7 post-intervention. Furthermore, Pearson correlation analysis demonstrated p<0.001 and r=0.993, indicating a strong positive relationship between pre- and post-intervention Z-scores. In conclusion, the Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT) significantly improved the nutritional status of undernourished toddlers in the working area of the Waindu Community Health Center, Yapen Islands Regency.

Abstract

Agar siswa sekolah dasar berhasil secara akademis, mereka harus memiliki keterampilan komunikasi yang kuat, yang sangat penting untuk pembelajaran yang efisien. Namun, banyak siswa kesulitan dengan hal-hal seperti ekspresi verbal dan tertulis dari ide, serta berinteraksi secara efektif dengan orang lain. Karena masalah ini, perlu dikembangkan cara pengajaran baru agar kemampuan komunikasi siswa dapat ditingkatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana siswa kelas empat di SDN Anasappu di Kabupaten Gowa menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share dan untuk menilai apakah pendekatan tersebut berpengaruh baik terhadap kemampuan komunikasi mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre- dan post-test satu kelompok, yang umum dalam penelitian pra-eksperimen. Kemampuan siswa untuk berkomunikasi adalah variabel dependen, sedangkan penggunaan paradigma pembelajaran kooperatif seperti Think Pair Share adalah variabel independen. Siswa dari SDN Anasappu di Kabupaten Gowa merupakan keseluruhan populasi, sedangkan 25 siswa dari kelas IV merupakan sampel. Kami menggunakan strategi pengambilan sampel purposive untuk mendapatkan data kami. Peneliti menggunakan alat survei dan lembar observasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil dari tes pra dan pasca menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas empat di SDN Anasappu Kabupaten Gowa meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi mereka melalui penggunaan paradigma pembelajaran kooperatif Think-Pair-Share. Kemampuan komunikasi siswa kelas empat secara signifikan dan positif dipengaruhi oleh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think-Pair-Share di SDN Anasappu, Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

Reading is important in the teaching and learning process. Reading is the process of absorbing knowledge through reading or writing. This study aims to improve students' literacy skills by holding a reading corner in each class and is expected to increase students' interest in reading and increase knowledge that can be a provision in the future. The lack of interest in reading at SD Inpres 1 malawei, due to the lack of reading space and motivation for students such as in grade 6 who should have been prepared to take the graduation exam to continue to the next level of education, namely junior high school but cannot read. This is our shared responsibility between students, teachers and parents in order to increase students' interest in reading, especially in SD inpres 1 malawei so we conduct research in order to increase students' interest in reading and make it a provision in the next level of education and even in the future.

Abstract

Urgensi ini didasari oleh belum optimalnya pemanfaatan potensi lingkungan pesisir sebagai sumber belajar, padahal kearifan lokal memiliki relevansi tinggi dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dan menegaskan urgensi pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal di SDN 01 Saonek, Raja Ampat.. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif dengan triangulasi data melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam dengan guru, dan analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan reduksi tematik dan penyajian naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh guru mengakui potensi kearifan lokal seperti cangkang kerang, rumput laut, dan tradisi nelayan sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual. Namun, implementasinya masih bersifat insidental dan belum terintegrasi dalam perencanaan pembelajaran. Observasi menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme siswa ketika pembelajaran dikaitkan dengan konteks pesisir, tetapi tidak didukung oleh media pembelajaran yang sistematis. Selain itu, tidak ditemukan integrasi kearifan lokal dalam dokumen rencana pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan adanya kesenjangan antara potensi dan praktik, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan panduan praktis dan prototipe media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Pengembangan tersebut diharapkan dapat mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih relevan, kontekstual, dan berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar wilayah pesisir.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the content of mocaf flour with different fermentation times on the quality of brownies. This study used a completely randomized design method. The samples used were mocaf flour brownies which were then handed over to the panelists, each panelist getting 4 samples of mocaf flour brownies. Sample codes to be given are A (24), B (48), C (72), and D (96). Analysis of mocaf flour brownies, namely water content and protein content. The results of the organoleptic test showed that sample D was the most preferred brownie with a percentage of 6.40 (Aroma), 6.90 (Taste), 6.87 (Texture). The results of the water content test are that the water content in sample A is 10.87%, sample B is 10.67%, sample C is 10.32% and sample D is 9.63%. The difference in fermentation time affects the protein content of mocaf flour. It can be seen from the test results obtained that sample A is 0.19%, sample B is 0.35%, sample C is 0.19% and sample D is 0.12%. It can be seen from the results of the brownie protein content test that the sample A obtained was 2.31%, sample B was 2.78%, sample C was 3.63% and sample D was 4.32%. It can be concluded that there is an effect of mocaf fermentation time on the moisture content and protein content of brownies.
