Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze : the influence of transformational leadership on the employee performance, the influence of organizational culture on the employee performance, the influence of transformational leadership on the quality of public services, the influence of organizational culture on the quality of public services, the influence of employee performance on the quality of public services, the influence of transformational leadership on the quality of public services in mediate employee performance, the influence of organizational culture on the quality of public services in mediate employee performance in the National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, the research sample is 56 people, and the data analysis uses the SEM (structural equality modeling) method. Overall, from the results and discussions in the study, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership on the employee performance, there was a positive and significant influence between organizational culture on the employee performance, there was a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership on the quality of public services, there was a positive and significant influence between organizational culture on the quality of public services, there was a positive and significant influence between employee performance on the quality of public services, there was a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership on the quality of public services in mediate employee performance, there was a positive and significant influence between organizational culture on the quality of public services in mediate employee performance in the National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This research was carried out to see the influence of Work Ethic and Work Discipline on the performance of employees with competence as an intervening variable in the State Civil Apparatus in Medan Baru District, this study uses the analysis path model with the smart PLS measurement method version 3.3.3. Data collection is carried out by giving questionnaires to respondents, this type of research uses the type of quantitative research and primary data sources as the data source. The results of this study are as follows: Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with the original sample value of 0.427 and p value of 0.006. Work Discipline had a positive and significant effect on Competence with an original sample value of 0.756 and a p value of 0.000. Work Ethic had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with the original sample value of 0.267 and p value of 0.006. Work Ethic had a positive and significant effect on Competence with an original sample value of 0.234 and a p value of 0.000. Competencies that had a positive effect were not significant in Employee Performance with an original sample value of 0.277 and a p value of 0.059. Work Discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance indirectly through Competency with an original sample value of 0.209 and a p value of 0.059. Work Ethic has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance indirectly through Competency with an original sample value of 0.065 and a p value of 0.091.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and determine the influence of affective commitment on employee performance in the Provincial BNN work unit and to analyze the influence of affective commitment on employee performance which is mediated by employee involvement in the Provincial BNN work unit. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, the research sample was 56 people, and the data was analyzed using the SEM (structural equation modeling) method. Overall, from the results and discussion in the research, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between affective commitment on employee performance, and the employee involvement variable is unable to mediate affective commitment on employee performance in the North Sumatera Province BNN Work Unit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between work discipline, organizational commitment, employee performance, and work motivation with work motivation as an intervening variable at Panca Budi Medan Development University. The results showed that work discipline had a significant positive influence on employee performance (O = 0.818, T-statistics = 5.953, P-value = 0.000) but not significantly on work motivation (O = 0.353, T-statistics = 1.235, P-value = 0.217). Employee performance had a significant positive effect on work motivation (O = 0.73, T-statistics = 2.804, P-value = 0.005). On the other hand, organizational commitment did not have a significant effect on employee performance (O = 0.152, T-statistics = 1.124, P-value = 0.261) or work motivation (O = -0.174, T-statistics = 0.967, P-value = 0.443). Work motivation was proven to be a significant mediator in the relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance (O = 0.597, T-statistics = 2.521, P-value = 0.012). This research highlights the importance of work discipline and motivation as a liaison in improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the Influence of Transformational Leadership Style and Work Environment on Employee Performance and Civil Service Motivation as an Intervening Variable in the North Sumatra Provincial Youth and Sports Office, Human Resources (HR) are generally productive individuals who work as the driving force of an organization, both in institutions and companies that have a function as an asset so that they must be trained and developed their abilities. Human resources generally consist of two, namely macro human resources, namely the number of people of productive age in a region, and micro human resources in a narrow sense, namely individuals who work for an institution or company. The results of this study are as follows: Transformational Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with an original sample value of 0.388 and p values of 0.002. Transformational Leadership Style had a positive and significant effect on Motivation with an original sample value of 0.572 and p values of 0.000. The Work Environment had a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance with an original sample value of 0.149 and p values of 0.109. The Work Environment had a positive and significant effect on Motivation with the original sample value of 0.371 and p values of 0.000. Motivation had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with an original sample value of 0.396 and p values of 0.001. Transformational Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through Motivation with an original sample value of 0.226 and p values of 0.001. The Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through Motivation with an original sample value of 0.147 and p values of 0.016.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, work motivation, and work environment on the performance of civil servants at Sma Negeri 2 Binjai, The research approach that is widely used in this study is quantitative research, This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Binjai located at Jl. Padang No.8, Rambung Dalam, Kec. Binjai Sel, the population in this study were teachers and educators with Civil Servant (PNS) status totaling 63 people, The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling where all populations were sampled, the analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis, the results of this study are the Leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Civil Servants of SMAN 2 Binjai. The Motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Civil Servants of SMAN 2 Binjai. The Work Environment variable has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Civil Servants of SMAN 2 Binjai. The independent variables consisting of Leadership ( ) , Motivation ( ) , and Work Environment ( ) , simultaneously have a significant influence on the performance of Civil Servants at SMAN 2 Binjai.

Abstract

The success of an organization depends heavily on the quality of human resources in it. Competency-based human resource development aims to improve productivity, work quality, and customer satisfaction, which ultimately benefits the organization. Employees who are satisfied with their work will be more committed, productive, and highly dedicated to the company, while employees who are dissatisfied with their work tend to experience turnover and decreased productivity. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and co-worker relationships on employee job satisfaction through work environment factors. The results of the study show that leadership has a positive and significant effect on the work environment in CV. Anugerah Prima Metalindo, as well as colleagues who have a positive and significant influence on the work environment. In addition, leadership and colleague relationships also have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The work environment also has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction. This study also reveals that leadership and colleague relationships have a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction through the work environment as a connecting variable in CV. Abstract

The research analysis aims to determine the influence of Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at Smk Negeri 1 Binjai. The data analysis technique used is an associative research method with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 72 respondents. Primary data collection uses questionnaires. The results showed that the tcount value was 3.522 > the ttable was 1.99 with a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05, then the H1 hypothesis was accepted and H0 was rejected, meaning that leadership had a positive and partially significant effect on employee performance. The test results for the work motivation variable showed at-calculated value of 5.637 > ttable of 1.99 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, then the H2 hypothesis was accepted and H0 was rejected, meaning that discipline had a positive and partially significant effect on employee performance. The results of the simultaneous test or F test prove that the value of F is calculated as 40.491 which is greater than 3.13 and the significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05 so that it can be concluded that hypothesis 3 is accepted and hypothesis 0 is rejected so that it can be concluded that work motivation and work discipline have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to analyze organizational commitment, work performance and personality to the performance of employees of PT Kawasan Industri Medan (KIM). The data analysis technique used is an associative research method with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 89 respondents. Primary data collection uses questionnaires. The results of the study show that the test results for the organizational commitment variable show a t-value of 2.650 > a t-table of 1.98 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, then the H1 hypothesis is accepted and H0 is rejected. The test results for the work performance variable showed a calculated t-value of 6.690 > a ttable of 1.98 with a significant value of 0.026< 0.05, then the H2 hypothesis was accepted and H0 was rejected. The test results for personality variables showed a calculated t-value of 9.260 > a t-table of 1.98 with a significant value of 0.014< 0.05, then the H3 hypothesis was accepted and H0 was rejected. The results of the test were simultaneous with a value of F calculated as 549.751 which was greater than 2.76 and a significant value of 0.000 was less than 0.05 so that it could be concluded that hypothesis 4 was accepted and hypothesis 0 was rejected.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan taktik etis dan tidak etis terhadap hubungan jangka panjang dalam negosiasi bisnis. Dalam konteks dunia bisnis modern yang kompetitif, proses negosiasi menjadi faktor penting dalam membangun kemitraan dan mempertahankan hubungan profesional. Penggunaan taktik etis, seperti kejujuran, transparansi, dan saling menghormati, dapat menciptakan kepercayaan serta memperkuat kerja sama jangka panjang antar pihak. Sebaliknya, penerapan taktik tidak etis seperti manipulasi, kebohongan, dan eksploitasi informasi dapat menghasilkan keuntungan sesaat namun berpotensi merusak reputasi dan kepercayaan bisnis di masa depan. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis literatur, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan negosiasi tidak hanya ditentukan oleh hasil akhir, tetapi juga oleh proses yang menjunjung nilai-nilai etika sebagai fondasi hubungan bisnis yang berkelanjutan.
