Abstract

The use of technology and new approaches to learning is essential to facing the current digital era. This study aims to explore the challenges and opportunities of implementing this approach at the As'Adiyah Sengkang Islamic Institute, with a focus on the impact of digital transformation. This research used mixed methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and document analysis. Data was collected from students, lecturers, and administrative staff to gain comprehensive insight into the challenges faced during the transition to independent learning in a digital environment. The research results identified a number of crucial challenges, namely limited technological infrastructure, lecturers' readiness to use technology, student motivation and independence, evaluation and assessment, and a lack of social interaction and collaboration. The discussion emphasized the importance of addressing these challenges through targeted strategies, including improving technological infrastructure, training and development of lecturers, promoting student motivation, more contextual assessment, facilitating social interaction and collaboration, and continuous evaluation and improvement. This is the key to the successful implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum in the digital era at the As'Adiyah Sengkang Islamic Institute. This research provides valuable insight into the complexity of educational transformation in the digital era and provides guidance for higher education institutions facing similar transitions.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine whether or not using the Spider Word Webbing approach could increase students' vocabulary proficiency in terms of form, meaning, and use. The researcher used a pre-experimental design. The sample for this study was 25 students in their second year of Middle School (MTs Muhajirin As'adiyah Kampiri in the academic year 2019/2020) drawn from a population of 95 students using purposive sampling. A vocabulary test was provided before and after treatment to determine the pupils' language mastery. This study found that using the Spider Word Webbing approach increased students' vocabulary mastery at MTs Muhajirin As'adiyah Kampiri. The t-test (9.050) has a higher value than the t-table (2.064), and the degree of freedom (df) is 24. The null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The Spider Word Webbing approach is found to be successful in improving students' vocabulary mastery in terms of form, meaning, and use.

Abstract

This study's objective is to study how using animated movie might help students improve their writing skills. One class served as the research sample for the pre-experimental methodology used in this study. In the first year of the MA Muhajirin, As'adiyah Kampiri, served as the research sample. Twenty students made up the study's sample. In order to select the sample for the study, the researcher employed the cluster random sampling technique and chose X A. Their understanding of the subject matter for text writing was made simple and enjoyable by the audio and visual mix. It was also acceptable for junior high school kids to get excited and interested in writing in order to hone their descriptive text-writing abilities. Writing tests were used to gather data on the students' descriptive writing abilities, which were then evaluated using SPSS 20. There were noticeable improvements, as seen by the pre-test and post-test results. The pupils' experimental post-test score of (82.11) was greater than their pre-test score, which served as evidence (52.63). The results also revealed that the probability value (0.00) was less than the level of significance (0.05). Based on the findings, the researcher concluded that using animation movies could help students in their first year of MA strengthen their descriptive writing skills. As'adiyah Kampiri Muhajirin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar pkn dengan tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan pada siswa kelas 5 MI Bone Kancitala Kabupaten Muna. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Alur penelitian ini adalah kelas yang digunakan untuk penelitian pretest kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemberian perlakuan yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MI Bone Kancitala dan sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas V sebagai kelas penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes, yaitu berupa pemberian instrumen tes pada tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan berupa soal pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Berdasarkan analisis deskritif pada Pretest diperoleh nilai rata-rata 48,9 dan pada Postest diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,0 sedangkan analisis inferensial sebelum dilakukan hasil analisis inferensial sebelum dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan menggunkan uji-t satu sampel ( One Sample Test). Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas diperoleh N- Gain hasil belajar siswa pada tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan distribusi normal nilai Sig =0,626 >0,05, dengan a = 0,05 dapat disimpukan bahwa pendekatan saintifik berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar PKn dengan tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan siswa kelas V MI Bone Kancitala Kabupaten Muna.

Abstract

Media di era teknologi telah mengalami perkembangan signifikan hingga dikalangan pendidikan terdapat ketidak seimbangan dalam pengetahuan, dimana para pengguna media saat ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh efek media yang membawa perubahan dalam aspek sosial, pengetahuan dan tingkah laku.Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Indeks Kemampuan Literasi Digital Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam STAIN Majene Angkatan 2019-2021. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 110 dari 151 populasi, kemudian peneliti menyebarkan angket menggunakan Google Form terhadap mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam STAIN Majene Angkatan 2019-2021. Pengukuran indeks literasi digital dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendapat A Global Framework of Reference on Digital Literacy Skills, yang terdapat 4 variabel diantaranya informasi dan literasi data, komunikasi dan kolaborasi, keamanan, kemampuan dan etika teknologi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa indeks literasi digital mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam STAIN Majene Angkatan 2019-2021 berdasarkan skor nilai dari keseluruhan variabel yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Grean Mean yaitu sebesar 3,90 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, karena berada diantara interval 3,5-4,2 artinya indeks literasi digital mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam STAIN Majene Angkatan 2019-2021 termasuk kedalam kategori baik atau dapat dikatakan tinggi.

Abstract

Etlingera comosa adalah jenis tanaman yang unik dan baru ditemukan, berasal dari Tentena, Sulawesi Tengah. Meskipun diyakini bahwa genus Etlingera ini mengandung senyawa antioksidan, belum ada penelitian yang mendalam mengenai spesies Etlingera comosa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder pada ekstrak etanol daun dan batang tanaman Etlingera comosa, serta mengidentifikasi aktivitas antioksidan yang terdapat pada ekstrak etanol daun dan batang Etlingera comosa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ABTS (2,2-azinobis 3-etilbenzotiazolin-6-sulfonat) untuk menentukan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol daun dan batang Etlingera comosa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol tanaman Etlingera comosa pada bagian daun positif mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder golongan flavonoid, alkaloid, steroid dan tanin. Sedangkan bagian batang positif mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder golongan flavonoid, alkaloid, dan tanin. Aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol tanaman Etlingera comosa berdasarkan nilai IC50 bagian daun sebesar 11,75 μg/ml sedangkan bagian batang sebesar 83,11 μg/ml. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun dan batang Etlingera comosa mempunyai senyawa antioksidan serta memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Etlingera comosa is a unique and newly discovered plant species endemic to Tentena, Central Sulawesi. Although the Etlingera genus is believed to contain antioxidant compounds, there has been no thorough research on the specific species Etlingera comosa. This study aims to investigate thephytochemical content of the ethanol extract from the leaves and stems of Etlingera comosa, as well as to evaluate its antioxidant activity. The research utilized the ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonate)) method with UV-Vis spectroscopy, measuring at a wavelength of 751 nm to assess the antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract. The findings indicated that the ethanol extract from the leaves of Etlingera comosa tested positive for secondary metabolite compounds, including flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoids/steroids, and tannins. In contrast, the stems showed positive results for flavonoids, alkaloids, and tannins. The antioxidant activity was quantified using the IC50 value, 11.75 μg/ml for the leaf extract and 83.11 μg/ml for the stem extract. These results demonstrate that the ethanol extracts of both the leaves and stems of Etlingera comosa contain antioxidant compounds and exhibit antioxidant activity. Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the P5 activities that have been implemented and the influence of P5 activities in minimizing bullying behavior at MTs DDI Mangempang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collected in this research consists of: a) primary data, namely information obtained directly from the original source through various data collection procedures and techniques, such as interviews, observation and documentation; b) secondary data, namely information obtained from indirect sources, which generally take the form of official documents or archives, journals or books. The implementation of P5 is one of the solutions implemented at MTs DDI Mangempang in order to prevent bullying behavior by providing understanding and knowledge about the meaning of bullying and functioning as a strong supporter in shaping student character and increasing self-confidence and courage in students

Abstract

The focus of this research was to use the reciprocal teaching strategy to increase prospective teachers reading comprehension in the sixth semester of English education at IAI As'adiyah Sengkang. A pre-experimental approach with pretest and posttest design was used by the researcher. Using the cluster random sampling technique, a total of 13 people were included in the sample. This study used a 20-item multiple-choice reading test as the research tool. Pre-test and post-test data were obtained. The data analysis revealed that the mean score of prospective teachers pre-tests was 59, 29 and the mean score of prospective teachers post-tests was 77,62. It was discovered that after undergoing reciprocal teaching strategy treatment, the prospective teachers reading comprehension improved (α < 0.05). The researcher found that a reciprocal teaching strategy was appropriate in teaching reading comprehension at IAI As'adiyah Sengkang's sixth semester of English education based on the results of data analysis. Reciprocal teaching strategy can be used as an alternative strategy in the teaching and learning process by English teachers and other scholars.

Abstract

This article evaluates and optimizes the implementation of teaching workshops aimed at improving the competencies of Islamic Education (PAI) lecturers in using digital technology at the Islamic Institute of As'adiyah Sengkang. The study focuses on understanding how workshops can enhance PAI lecturers' digital technology skills and identifying strategies to optimize the workshops for more effective technology adoption. A descriptive qualitative method, including interviews and observations, was used for data collection. The hermeneutic approach provided insights into the lecturers' experiences regarding the workshops and the integration of technology in teaching. Findings indicate that although the workshop materials were relevant, additional practice time and simplified content are necessary to improve lecturers' understanding. While there was a noticeable increase in competencies, technical challenges still exist, requiring continuous support. Optimizing the workshops involves adding more practice sessions, simplifying content, and offering mentorship to build lecturers' confidence in implementing digital technology effectively. This research provides valuable insights for enhancing the development of digital competencies among PAI lecturers.

Abstract

Basic English language learning in the community is one of the community service initiatives that try to provide English language learning. This project was overseen by As'Adiyah Sengkang, an English lecturer at FTK IAI. One of the activities carried out during the program was the presentation of basic English material using the lecture method. The lecture method has various advantages, including allowing lecturers to convey material in a more appealing manner, such as by utilizing personal pronouns, greetings, and introductions. Based on the results of this training, it is a new reference for other teachers to use in every program of formal, informal, and non-formal educational institutions. Furthermore, because this strategy is recognized as a simple method of teaching, young people can do peer tutoring with youth who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in the program. The establishment of community cooperation for the learning of advanced and basic English is another result of implementation.
