Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan konsep dasar IPA mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk peneltian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group posttest only. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 32 mahasiswa. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan tes kemampuan konsep dasar IPA. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas sebagai uji prasyarat. Hasil uji normalitas diperoleh skor signifikansi posttest sebesar 0,391 > 0,05 artinya data berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji one sample test. Hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) efektif terhadap kemampuan konsep dasar IPA mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu model PBL dapat menjadi solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran IPA di perguruan tinggi, khususnya dalam mempersiapkan calon guru Sekolah Dasar yang profesional dan memiliki keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

Literacy is a person's ability and skill in processing and understanding information from writing and reading activities. Reading plays an important role in the learning process as a means to absorb knowledge or understand a text. Reading as a cognitive process that seeks to find information in the text. The reading interest and reading ability of students is currently worrying, due to less interesting learning methods and public perceptions that prioritize basic needs such as food and clothing. Beririjarak Village, in East Lombok Regency, faces similar challenges, where early childhood is often involved in agricultural work and limited access to early literacy such as reading and writing before entering school. The objectives of establishing a reading corner include: increasing literacy, especially students' interest in reading. The implementation methods used are observation, interviews and collaboration with the village, as well as conducting socialization to the community and early childhood. The results of the program implementation show an increase in literacy, especially the interest in reading and participation of early childhood in literacy activities. The Reading Corner Program is a significant step in increasing early childhood literacy and providing them with access to learn to read, write, and count outside the school context. Through a comprehensive approach, including socialization and direct practice with early childhood, the Reading Corner program has succeeded in increasing their participation in literacy activities

Abstract

One effort that can be made to improve students' numeracy skills is by implementing differentiated learning strategies. Differentiated learning is a method used by teachers to meet the needs of each student so that students can learn material according to their abilities, talents and interests as well as their individual needs so that they do not feel like they have failed in their learning experience. In differentiated learning, 3 aspects can be distinguished so that students can understand the learning material: the content, the process, and the product. Based on this, the service team conducted differentiated learning training to improve students' numeracy skills for teachers at SDN 23 Mataram. This training aims to increase teacher knowledge in implementing differentiated learning. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be said that these activities ran smoothly according to the planned schedule and were successful. The participants were enthusiastic about the training because, in the independent curriculum, all teachers must understand differentiated learning. The level of understanding of participants in implementing differentiated learning after training. Based on this, the level of knowledge of participants in the very understanding category was 55% or 6 out of 11 participants. Then the understanding category was 36% or 5 participants, and the quite understanding category was 9% or only 1 participant.

Abstract

One way to design interactive learning is by utilising digital applications or websites that provide media creation services. By utilising sites that provide digital-based media creation services, students' interest in participating in the learning process increases and the teaching and learning process becomes more interesting. One platform that offers interactive game-based media creation is the Wordwall platform. The Wordwall educational game is a website-based application that can be used as a learning medium with interactive game features. This training was chosen because the Wordwall platform has been proven to increase student interest, motivation, and learning outcomes. Thus, the community service team held training on creating interactive game-based media using the Wordwall platform to improve the digital skills and abilities of elementary school teachers. The purpose of this training is to train teachers in developing interactive game-based media using the Wordwall application. The target in this study was 14 teachers at SDN 15 Cakranegara. The stages of implementing community service activities are the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of this community service are that teachers are very enthusiastic about this interactive learning media development training because of the need for teachers to improve the learning process in the classroom. Overall, interactive game-based media training using the Wordwall application is the right step in improving the skills of elementary school teachers in creating innovative and effective learning media. With the right support and guidance, teachers can leverage this technology to improve the quality of learning, which will ultimately have a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sangat penting untuk dipelajari, karena kemampuannya membantu individu dalam menyelesaikan berbagai masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Matematika di sekolah dasar sangat penting untuk dipelajari semaksimal mungkin dan tidak boleh terjadi kesalahpahaman dalam mempelajari konsep dalam matematika. Salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki anak SD kelas tiga adalah operasi perkalian. Metode dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas III SDN 31 Cakranegara mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami perkalian, terutama dalam menghubungkannya dengan penjumlahan berulang. Kesulitan siswa dalam memahami perkalian dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Secara internal, rendahnya motivasi belajar, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, serta ketergantungan pada hafalan. Secara eksternal, minimnya dukungan keluarga, keterbatasan fasilitas belajar, serta lingkungan yang tidak kondusif

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model worksheet (LKPD) based on Sasak local wisdom. The researcher also aims to determine the validity and practicality of the developed LKPD. In this study, the product developed is a PBL model LKPD based on Sasak local wisdom. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes analyze, define, development, implementation, and evaluation. The LKPD product is considered valid if it meets the validity criteria based on the assessments of expert validators. Furthermore, the LKPD product is considered practical if it meets the practicality criteria based on teacher responses. Based on the results and discussions described above, the conclusions of this study are: first, the development procedure of this research consists of three stages: analysis, design, and development. Second, the assessment results from two expert lecturers indicate that the PBL LKPD based on local wisdom is feasible and ready for trial use. The assessment from the two expert lecturers scored 74.5 out of a maximum score of 95, or 78%, which is qualitatively classified as valid. Therefore, the quality of the development product in the form of a PBL LKPD based on Sasak local wisdom is deemed suitable for trial use. A small group trial was then conducted to assess the practicality of the developed LKPD. The trial results showed that the teacher assessment questionnaire scored 69 or 73%, which falls into the practical category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep diri siswa kelas 6 di SDN Gugus IV Sekotong. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 12 sekolah dengan total populasi sebanyak 372 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Nonprobability Sampling dengan jenis Purposive Sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 124 siswa yang terdiri dari empat sekolah yaitu SDN 1 Batu Putih, SDN 2 Batu Putih, SDN 4 Batu Putih, dan SDN 5 Batu Putih. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Analisis  data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil analisis data konsep diri siswa kelas 6 di SDN Gugus IV Sekotong 42 siswa (33,87%) memiliki konsep diri dengan kategori sangat tinggi, 65 siswa (52,42%) memiliki konsep diri dengan kategori tinggi, dan 17 siswa (13,71%) memiliki konsep diri dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri siswa kelas 6 di SDN Gugus IV Sekotong berkategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 52,42%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu mempersepsikan dan mengenali dirinya sendiri secara baik.

Abstract

This study aims to identify teachers' perceptions and needs for the development of ethnopedagogy-based teaching materials to improve literacy and numeracy. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques that involved distributing questionnaires to elementary school teachers from diverse cultural backgrounds. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to examine the tendency of respondents' answers regarding aspects of literacy and numeracy, as well as local cultural integration in the learning process. The results show that the majority of teachers are aware of the importance of literacy and numeracy and support the implementation of ethnopedagogy; however, they encounter obstacles in the availability of relevant teaching materials and limited professional development opportunities. These findings suggest a pressing need for the development of teaching materials that not only enhance literacy and numeracy skills but also foster students' cultural identities through contextual learning. This study is an initial contribution to the development of an ethnopedagogy-based teaching material model as a strategic solution in improving the quality of numeracy learning in elementary schools while supporting the preservation of local culture in education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji validitas modul ajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) berbasis kearifan lokal yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Define, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang dibatasi sampai tahap Development. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi yang mencakup aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan keterpaduan P5 dan IPAS. Validasi dilakukan oleh tiga ahli, yaitu ahli materi IPA, ahli materi IPS, dan ahli bahasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar memperoleh skor ketiga validator berturut-turut adalah 76, 77, dan 78 yang ketiganya berada pada kategori sangat valid. Aspek substansi materi dinilai sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran IPAS, kegiatan pembelajaran disusun secara sistematis dan fleksibel, serta integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal dinilai relevan dan kontekstual. Dengan demikian, modul ajar IPAS ini dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, khususnya untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang berbasis karakter dan kontekstual budaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis etnopedagogi terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dan Matematika mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Pendekatan etnopedagogi dipilih sebagai bentuk integrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam proses pembelajaran, guna memperkuat pemahaman konseptual dan relevansi materi dengan konteks budaya setempat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelompok mahasiswa dari program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) yang dipilih secara purposive sebanyak 60 mahasiswa. Data hasil belajar IPA dan Matematika dikumpulkan melalui tes terstandar dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis etnopedagogi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPA dan Matematika yang ditandai dengan hasil analisis multivariat signifikansi (0.008) < 0.05. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan etnopedagogi dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan kompetensi akademik mahasiswa calon guru, sekaligus memperkuat identitas budaya lokal dalam pendidikan.
