Abstract

This article focuses on the study that aims to find out the levels and the major causes of speaking anxiety experienced by the third-year students at SMPN 2 Bayat of Anambas Island. Total sampling was used in this research since the pool of participants was relatively small consisting of 13 students overall. In collecting the data, students were asked to fill out a set based on a modified version of the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) questionnaire developed by Horwitz et al (1986). After analyzing the data, it was found that most students experienced speaking anxiety on a moderate level. The results suggested that 4 students with a percentage of 30.77% were classified as a high level, 9 students with a percentage of 69.23% were classified as a moderate level and none of the students or 0% was classified to have a low level of anxiety. Additionally, “lack of preparation”, “afraid of being laughed at” and “afraid of being called in English classes” were the major causes of speaking anxiety that most participants agreed with. Thus, some suggestions were provided with the expectation of reducing students’ anxiety while speaking English.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan manajemen dan administrasi tenaga pendidik di SDN Belitung Utara 3 Banjarmasin, yang meliputi peran kepala sekolah dalam mengelola tenaga pendidik, pelaksanaan administrasi pembelajaran oleh guru, serta pandangan siswa terhadap kinerja dan kedisiplinan guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen dan administrasi tenaga pendidik di SDN Belitung Utara 3 dilaksanakan secara sistematis, adaptif, dan partisipatif. Kepala sekolah berperan aktif dalam perencanaan kebutuhan guru, pembagian tugas, pembinaan, serta supervisi terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Guru melaksanakan administrasi pembelajaran dengan tertib, menyiapkan modul ajar sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka, dan melaporkan kegiatan melalui forum Komunitas Belajar (Kombel). Selain itu, kerja sama antar guru dan dukungan kepala sekolah menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dan produktif. Berdasarkan pandangan siswa, guru dinilai disiplin, kreatif, serta mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan tertib. Dengan demikian, manajemen dan administrasi tenaga pendidik di SDN Belitung Utara 3 berjalan efektif dan berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dan suasana belajar yang kondusif.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelantaran dan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga merupakan bentuk pelanggaran serius terhadap hak asasi manusia karena berdampak langsung pada keselamatan, martabat, dan keberlangsungan hidup korban, khususnya perempuan dan anak. Negara Indonesia telah membangun kerangka hukum yang relatif komprehensif melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2004 tentang Penghapusan Kekerasan dalam Rumah Tangga, dan peraturan mengenai pemulihan dan bantuan hukum bagi korban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk perlindungan hukum bagi korban penelantaran dan kekerasan serta menilai efektivitas implementasinya dalam praktik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan analisis literatur jurnal hukum nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun secara normatif korban telah diposisikan sebagai subjek hukum yang berhak atas perlindungan, pemulihan, dan keadilan, dalam praktik perlindungan tersebut masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan, seperti dominasi pendekatan pelaku-sentris dalam peradilan, lemahnya koordinasi layanan pemulihan, keterbatasan akses bantuan hukum, serta stigma sosial terhadap korban. Oleh karena itu, penguatan perlindungan hukum bagi korban harus diarahkan pada pendekatan yang lebih korban-sentris, terintegrasi, dan berorientasi pada pemulihan yang nyata.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve learning outcomes math class V students SD Negeri 004 Teluk Binjai Dumai Timur through cooperative learning team asissted individualization (TAI), conducted in September-November 2011. The subjects fifth grade students numbering SD Negeri 004 Teluk Binjai Dumai Timur students. Parameters measured research is student learning, student activities, complete learn student and teacher activities. The research instrument used consisted of two research instruments are instruments learning device consists of a syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), student worksheet (LKS) and data collection instruments consist of observation sheet student activity, observation sheet activities of teachers, test sheet. The results showed mastery learning in the first cycle was (60.00%) and the second cycle (93.30%). It can be concluded from the results of fifth grade students learn math SD Negeri 004 Teluk Binjai Dumai Timur can be improved through the cooperative model type asissted team individualization (TAI).

Abstract

The increasing generation of industrial waste and the growing demand for sustainable construction materials have driven the development of pervious concrete as an environmentally friendly pavement material. Pervious concrete possesses high drainage capability, effectively reducing surface runoff and enhancing groundwater infiltration. This study evaluates the effect of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) waste as a partial replacement for coarse aggregate on the compressive strength, density, porosity, and permeability of pervious concrete using split and gravel aggregates at a water–cement ratio (w/c) of 0.40. HDPE was incorporated at 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% by weight of coarse aggregate, and testing was conducted at 28 days. The results show that compressive strength decreased from 16.75 MPa to 10.32 MPa for gravel and from 18.92 MPa to 15.41 MPa for split aggregate. Density declined from approximately 2100 kg/m³ to about 1850 kg/m³ with increasing HDPE content. Conversely, porosity increased from 30–32% to 37–38%, while permeability rose from approximately 29–35 mm/s to 44–46 mm/s. A strong correlation (R² > 0.80) was found between porosity and permeability, indicating that hydraulic performance is predominantly governed by the interconnected pore structure induced by HDPE modification. Overall, a 5% HDPE substitution achieved the best balance between structural strength and drainage performance without significant strength loss, supporting the implementation of green infrastructure principles in sustainable pavement systems, whereas HDPE contents above 10% were mechanically inefficient.

Abstract

Background: As technology has advanced, educational tools have seen numerous transformations, notably the introduction of game-based platforms like Quizizz and Quizalize. Both media offer interactive approaches to improve learning outcomes. These media can be used in kindergarten learning, but there has been no study comparing their effectiveness in kindergartens in Bengkulu. Aims: To compare the effects of Quizalize and Quizizz media on children's learning outcomes. Methods: Quasi-experiment with 30 students (15 experimental class, 15 control class). Analysis using normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and Normalized Gain (N-Gain). Results: There was no significant difference in the pre-test (p = 0.936), but the post-test showed a significant difference (p = 0.020). However, when compared based on N-Gain, there was no significant difference between the two media (p = 0.282). Conclusion: These findings indicate that both Quizalize and Quizizz are equally effective in improving children's learning outcomes. There are no statistical findings to support the superiority of either medium.

Abstract

Isosceles Triangle Plants (ITP) are wave-breaking and sediment-trapping structures with a triangular shape, arranged continuously in a zigzag pattern and made of bamboo. Mangrove rehabilitation in Sengkubang Village has been carried out independently by planting Rhizophora stylosa Griff mangrove species. This study aims to examine the physicochemical properties of soil both inside and outside the ITP structures. The study results showed that redox potential varied, with both positive and negative values. Salinity ranged from 5.228 to 5.257 mmhos/cm on the outside and from 4.971 to 5.657 mmhos/cm on the inside. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) were between 2,754 ppm and 2,971 ppm. Organic matter content ranged from 2.754% to 2.971%. Soil acidity (pH) tended to be neutral to slightly alkaline, between 7.59 and 7.91. The soil fraction composition was dominated by silt (83.42% to 93.00%), followed by clay (6.64% to 16.24%) and sand (0.32% to 0.52%). All soil structures were massive. Soil bulk density ranged from 0.54 g/cm³ to 0.58 g/cm³. Total soil porosity was high, between 75.60% and 78.39%, as was the field capacity water content (74.36% to 77.32%).

Abstract

The growing demands of twenty-first-century education require Islamic schools to integrate advanced cognitive competencies with moral and spiritual formation in ways that are pedagogically coherent and contextually meaningful. This study examines the implementation of the Multidimensional Project Model at SMPIT Al-Izzah Kotabaru as an innovative framework for merging Deep Learning principles with the Islamic educational paradigm of tarbiyah. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with Grade 8 teachers and students, and documentation analysis, supported by triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that the model effectively bridges disciplinary boundaries by positioning scientific inquiry within spiritually grounded learning experiences. Students demonstrated noticeable improvement in collaboration, task distribution, and conflict resolution key components of 21st-century skills. Importantly, these improvements were closely associated with the internalization of Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), ihsan (excellence), and khalifah fil ard (stewardship of the Earth). Through ecosystem-based projects, students perceived environmental responsibility not only as a scientific requirement but also as an expression of religious duty, thereby strengthening their sense of purpose and accountability. The study concludes that integrating Deep Learning with tarbiyah-oriented project work produces holistic learning outcomes that cultivate both intellectual depth and spiritual consciousness. The Multidimensional Project Model serves as a replicable micro-level innovation for Islamic schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, offering a practical strategy to unify academic achievement and character development. Further research is recommended to develop measurable indicators for spiritual competencies and to explore cross-grade expansion of the model.
