Abstract

Analisis situasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah di Desa Kopo, Kecamatan Kutawaringin, Kabupaten Bandung, memiliki potensi yang cukup besar dalam hal sumber daya alam, sosial, dan budaya yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan ekonomi lokal. Potensi ini mencakup berbagai jenis tanaman yang cocok untuk pertanian, kekayaan sumber daya alam seperti air dan lahan, serta kerajinan dan kegiatan industri rumah tangga yang telah ada. Namun, meskipun potensi tersebut ada, masyarakat Desa Kopo masih perlu meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan dalam bidang kewirausahaan. Keterampilan manajemen usaha, pemasaran, keuangan, dan teknis perlu ditingkatkan agar masyarakat dapat mengelola usaha dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Desa Kopo termasuk akses terhadap modal, pasar, dan teknologi. Selain itu, regulasi dan perizinan juga menjadi kendala dalam pengembangan usaha ekonomi keluarga. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang prosedur perizinan serta keterbatasan akses terhadap modal dan teknologi dapat menghambat perkembangan usaha di tingkat lokal. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi perangkat desa dan warga Desa Kopo untuk melihat potensi ekonomi yang ada di sekitar mereka dan mengembangkan usaha kecil yang berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan terjadi peningkatan ekonomi keluarga serta kesejahteraan masyarakat secara keseluruhan di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of entrepreneurial citizenship and how it shapes entrepreneurs who embody both integrity and business acumen within the context of citizenship. Employing a qualitative approach with case study methodology, this research explores how the characteristics of civic entrepreneurs contribute to the development of business leaders who integrate civic values with entrepreneurial intelligence. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs exhibiting strong entrepreneurial citizenship attributes, participant observation, and the analysis of relevant documents. The findings reveal that entrepreneurs who adopt the principles of entrepreneurial citizenship tend to demonstrate a heightened awareness of social and environmental responsibility, uphold ethical business practices, and engage in sustainable innovation. Furthermore, they actively collaborate with stakeholders across various sectors to generate broader positive impacts on society. These insights contribute value to the discourse on implementing entrepreneurial citizenship to foster sustainable and socially meaningful entrepreneurship. The practical implications of this research include recommendations for entrepreneurship education that is more aligned with civic values, policy support to enhance collaboration between the business and government sectors, and the promotion of an organisational culture that prioritises integrity and social responsibility.

Abstract

At present, a number of contemporary skills become crucial for students in learning process, especially the entrepreneurship skill. This article aimed to identify the students’ learning strategy on entrepreneurial spirit through student’s cooperation (KOPMA). This study was descriptive qualitative study that involved five student’s cooperation (KOPMA) in 4 universities. This study has resulted that KOPMA has become a media in forming entrepreneurial spirit for students. Besides, the learning strategy was carried out through: 1) dividing a time-set between academic learning and cooperation (KOPMA); and 2) bravery to take any risk in cooperation (KOPMA). Abstract

This research aims to present the results of the analysis of the significances for SETS-based science teaching materials (Science,Environment, Technology and Society) in online learning which includes (1) the results of significances analysis for SETS-based science teaching materials, (2) the benefits of SETS-based science teaching materials in online learning. This research was conducted at the PGRI Yogyakarta University using qualitative research methods. Data was collected through observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. The results showed that (1) SETS-based science teaching materials is needed by students at PGRI Yogyakarta University in the distance or online learning process in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic to facilitate the teaching and learning process, (2) the benefits of SETS-based science teaching materials in online learning are that with SETS-based teaching materials students can transform knowledge in the form of technology and develop students' social skills. With the use of SETS-based teaching materials, students are hopefully in ease to access teaching materials because there are no limitations between space and time. In addition, students can explore science knowledge by involving real life and the environment in which they live and can provide benefits to the community. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation of quarantine in terms of the online learning model in improving civic responsibility as a solution during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This study's subject was 47 students (17 males and 30 females) at the Department of Teacher and Primary Education Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta, which was processing Citizenship Education in the academic year 2019/2020. The researchers collected the data from students and lecturers through observation, interviews, and documentation study. The technique of data analysis was performed through descriptive qualitative analysis. The study results indicated that the online learning model at the Department of Teacher and Primary Education Ahmad Dahlan University in 2019/2020 could improve students' civic responsibility. The data have shown that civic responsibility consisted of 97 % social participation, 76 % social advocacy, and 79 % citizenship participation. This study could finally conclude that online learning model could improve civic responsibility as a solution during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia and tended to be an alternative and effective model in rare situations. This research can be used as input in increasing civic responsibility as a solution during a pandemic in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low social awareness among students due to globalization. Extracurricular activities such as PMR can be one of the efforts in developing social care among students. The purpose of this study was to describe the form of cultivation of students' social care through PMR extracurricular activities at SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, the type of research used is field research. The results showed that, the form of cultivating students' social care was in the form of orientation period activities or DIKLAT, routine training every week, medical assignments and maximizing activities carried out by PMR extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Civic engagement berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila berperan penting dalam membangun kesadaran konstitusional yang dapat mewujudkan warga negara yang baik dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguatan civic engagement berbasis Pancasila dalam membangun kesadaran konstitusional guna menciptakan warga negara yang baik dan berkelanjutan. Civic engagement, yang mencakup partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam kehidupan politik dan sosial, merupakan elemen penting dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang demokratis dan berkeadilan. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur, penelitian ini menggali berbagai teori, penelitian sebelumnya, serta pandangan ahli mengenai hubungan antara civic engagement, Pancasila, dan kesadaran konstitusional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa civic engagement yang dibangun atas nilai-nilai Pancasila tidak hanya mendorong partisipasi warga negara dalam kehidupan publik, tetapi juga memperkuat kesadaran konstitusional. Hal ini penting dalam membangun tatanan masyarakat yang demokratis, di mana warga negara tidak hanya memiliki hak, tetapi juga memahami tanggung jawabnya. Kesadaran konstitusional berbasis Pancasila memungkinkan terciptanya keseimbangan antara hak individu dan kepentingan kolektif, yang pada akhirnya mendukung keberlanjutan sosial dan politik. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan pendidikan civic engagement berbasis Pancasila dalam kurikulum pendidikan formal dan non-formal untuk membentuk generasi yang sadar hukum, kritis, dan berdaya saing dalam menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, civic education plays a crucial role in shaping individuals who are active and responsive to global social, political, and economic changes. One relevant concept to be applied is civic entrepreneurship, which combines social entrepreneurship with civic responsibility to create positive change. However, the main challenge in civic education is how to develop civic entrepreneur competencies that are relevant to global dynamics and the increasing use of digital technologies. This study aims to explore how civic entrepreneur competencies can be developed through engagement-based learning in civic education, addressing the challenges and opportunities in the digital era. Using a literature review methodology, this research analyzes various academic sources and theories related to the development of civic entrepreneur competencies, civic education, and their application in a digital context. The findings indicate that engagement-based learning, which involves collaboration, problem-solving, and social entrepreneurship, can foster civic entrepreneur competencies. Moreover, the digital era offers new opportunities to expand civic participation through digital platforms, although it also presents challenges in maintaining the quality of engagement. In conclusion, the development of civic entrepreneur competencies through civic education in the digital era can strengthen social and political participation. Therefore, it is recommended that civic education integrate the concept of civic entrepreneurship with engagement-based learning methods that are more relevant to the needs and challenges of the global digital era.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam kerangka konsep lifelong education. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan merupakan dimensi penting yang harus dimiliki oleh generasi muda guna meningkatkan kebiasaan berfikir kritis, analisis, bersikap dan bertindak demokratis yang akan melahirkan warga negara yang cerdas, terampil dan berkarakter. Dengan lifelong education generasi muda akan mendapatkan konsep, belajar yang berkesinambungan (continuing learning). Metode yang dingunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Penelitian ini mempergunakan sumber perpustakaan dalam mengumpulkan dan untuk memperoleh data-data penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan bila dijadikan sebuah kerangka konsep lifelong education, dapat di jadikan empat tahapan yaitu, a) Kehidupan Fisik dan Fikiran; b) Proses Belajar; c) Metode Mencari Jawaban; dan Metode SQ3R. Dengan demikian, pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam kerangka konsep lifelong education yang melibatkan warganegara di dapat melahirkan warga negara yang cerdas, terampil dan berkarakter yang diamanatkan oleh Pancasila dan UUD 1945 yaitu warganegara yang memiliki kompetensi yang baik berkualitas sebagai warganegara yang aktif.

Abstract

Terbukanya sistem demokrasi di Indonesia secara luas memberikan peluang yang baik bagi perkembangan politik bangsa. Salah satu indikatornya adalah berjalannya sistem politik yang demokratis dan mengukur tingkat partisipasi publik dengan keterlibatan warga negara berpartisipasi dalam pemilihan kepala daerah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi politik perempuan di Desa Pasir Batang Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya pada pemilihan kepala daerah tahun 2020, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi politik Perempuan di Desa Pasir Batang Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya pada pemilihan kepala daerah tahun 2020, Mengetahui solusi meningkatkan partisipasi politik perempuan di Desa Pasir Batang Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya pada pemilihan kepala daerah tahun 2020. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data utama dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur dan observasi. Data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan penelitian, jurnal, dan data tersedia di masing-masing parpol, KPU, dan instansi terkait dengan pemilu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi politik perempuan di Desa Pasir Batang Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya cukup tinggi.
