Abstract

Berdasarkan dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan peneliti dengan guru M di kelas V (lima) bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran saat mengajar masih jarang digunakan di sekolah. Adapun media yang digunakan guru berupa gambar dan buku pelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan pengembangan media bagi guru sehingga membantu siswa memahami materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia dan pembelajaran lebih menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan media tiruan pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia kelas V (lima) di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket analisis kebutuhan dan angket penilaian kelayakan media. Berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli media adalah 93,33% dengan hasil kualitas kelayakan pengembangan media tiruan berada dikategori “Sangat Layak”. Selanjutnya penilaian ahli materi adalah 78,57% dengan hasil kualitas pengembangan media tiruan berada dikategori “Layak”. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media tiruan sudah dikatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 23 of 2015 concerning character development which is implemented in the School Literacy Movement. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of literacy in Islamic Religious Subject, explain information related to supporting factors, and inhibiting factors for the application of literacy at SMAN 4 Palangka Raya. This research is a descriptive qualitative research and the research subjects are teacher and students at SMAN 4 Palangka Raya. The results showed that the application of literacy in SMAN 4 Palangka Raya reached the second stage, namely the reading and writing stages. The application of literacy in SMAN 4 Palangka Raya is not in accordance with the guidelines in the GLN and GLNB manuals. This is because the books that are often used in literacy during PAI subjects are textbooks, whereas the appropriate books should be non-textbooks. The supporting factor for the application of literacy is the ability of teachers to utilize technology and learning media. The servant factors for the application of literacy are the lack of mentoring, the lack of availability of non-text books and the lack of student persistence and interest.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages universities to improve effectiveness and efficiency in data management, particularly in recording and reporting faculty performance. Some lecturers still face difficulties in reporting their performance in the SISTER application due to challenges in locating documents scattered across various archives, which often leads to issues such as delays in reporting, low information accuracy, and lack of transparency of faculty performance documents for institutional needs. This study aims to optimize the digitalization of faculty performance documents based on cloud computing using the Agile Unified Process (AUP) approach, which is implemented in the development of a cloud-based system by utilizing Google Drive as the storage medium for digital faculty performance documents. The AUP methodology was chosen for its ability to combine flexible iterative and incremental principles, allowing the system to adapt quickly and continuously to user needs. Testing using Equivalence Partitioning, based on the functional and non-functional requirements of the system, has shown results in accordance with expectations.

Abstract

This research was based on students’ need analysis at SMAN 1 Kahayan Kuala and found that they faced difficulty learning physics, mainly static fluid material. There was a high need for an alternative teaching material that could be understood independently and more attractive and contained phenomena or occurrences related to the physic and the surrounding environment. Because of that, this research aims to know 1) the Procedure of the E-module based on contextual using PDF Flip Professional application on static fluid material. 2) Quality of E-module based on contextual using PDF Flip Professional application on static fluid material. 3) Students and teachers' responses on this e-module. This study used Research and Development in short R&D and 4D models. Phases were defined as design, development, and dissemination. But in dissemination phase was limited only to the research place. Results showed that 1) Procedure in developing an e-module involving students’ need analysis, designing the product, validating by design, material and learning experts and testing on small groups. 2) Quality of the e-module was tested through validity by media experts and was obtained at 92.95%, stated as very feasible. Next, validity from media experts was obtained at 95,9%, stated as very feasible. Then validity from learning experts was obtained 89,30% stated as very feasible. 3) Students’ response on e-module was obtained 95,09% stated as very good, and teachers’ response was obtained 92.8 stated as very good.

Abstract

The use of teaching materials that are limited to textbooks and surrounding objects, as well as the complexity of materials that contain important terms can hinder the achievement of learning objectives. The development of teaching materials based on Google Slides can overcome the limitations of the material and help the process of understanding the material. This study aims to develop teaching materials based on Google Slides for science subjects in class V MI/SD. This study uses the R&D (research and development) method with the 4D development model, namely: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The study resulted in the development of Google Slides teaching materials for the science subject on the water cycle. The results of the product assessment show that the feasibility assessment by material experts in the final stage obtained a feasibility percentage with a score of 90.6% including the "Very Eligible" category, while based on media experts in the final stage obtained a feasibility percentage with a score of 95% including the "Very Eligible" category. The teacher's responses obtained an eligibility percentage of 80% in the "Suitable" category, while student responses obtained a feasibility percentage of 92% in the "Very Eligible" category. Abstract

This study aims to describe whether there is an improvement in student learning outcomes after using Nearpod as a learning medium in the IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) subject, specifically on electrical energy and technology in everyday life. This research employs a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental Design. The population comprises all fifth-grade students at MIS Al-Jihad Palangka Raya, with Class VC selected as the sample using a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used include observation, pre-test, and post-test assessments. The instrument test was conducted in Class VIC, resulting in 21 valid items with a reliability coefficient of 0.873. Observations were carried out by directly assessing the learning process conducted by the fifth-grade teacher, using 17 observation indicators. The prerequisite tests included the normality test (0.407) and the homogeneity test (0.228). The study results showed that using Nearpod during classroom observation yielded a score of 95%, which falls into the very high category. The researchers measured the effectiveness of improving students' learning outcomes using the N-Gain score and obtained a value of 0.63, indicating moderate effectiveness. The t-test analysis produced a significance value of < 0.000. Based on the decision rule, since the significance value is less than 0.05, the researchers rejected the null hypothesis (H₀) and accepted the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ). Therefore, they concluded that the use of Nearpod had a significant effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to map the evolution of research on computational thinking (CT) within the context of science and technology, with a particular focus on science education and physics learning. Through a content analysis of a corpus of scholarly publications from 2015 to 2023, this study seeks to identify annual trends in research on computational thinking and computational thinking skills in the context of science and technology, with a deeper exploration of the context of science education and physics learning. A content analysis guide was employed as the research instrument. In synthesizing the articles, four main aspects were examined: (1) the number of publications per year, (2) research subject areas, (3) research types, and (4) the treatments and variables measured in computational thinking research in science education and physics learning. An analysis of the number of publications, research areas, methodologies, treatments, measured variables, and findings revealed a significant increase in interest in CT in 2022, particularly in the social sciences. Quasi-experimental research emerged as the dominant approach, with a focus on developing and evaluating learning interventions that integrate CT. The use of technology in computational thinking activities to enhance students' computational thinking skills in science education and physics learning was highlighted. The findings of this study have important implications for future research, such as expanding the diversity of research methodologies, delving deeper into CT instruments and data analysis techniques, conducting more in-depth studies on technology products designed to enhance computational thinking skills, and exploring a wider range of learning contexts.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the interest of researchers in using the implementation of the picture and picture type cooperative model in science lessons in class v. The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation of the learning model in the classroom. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique used in this study uses four stages, including 1) collecting data, 2) reducing data, 3) presenting data, and 4) drawing conclusions and verification. The implementation of the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model is applied according to the syntax. From the results of the study, it was found that the application of the cooperative model of the picture and picture type in science subjects had been applied as well as the teaching and learning process in general. The learning outcomes of science subjects using a picture and picture cooperative model have a value of 100% reaching the KKM. Some of the obstacles felt by the teacher at the time of learning can be resolved correctly.

Abstract

Attitude towards physics is one of the key factors in determining the success of physics learning. The solution to ensure a positive attitude towards physics requires a good diagnostic instrument. This study aims to develop an instrument that can measure attitudes toward physics validly and reliably. This study was conducted by validating the instrument with 8 experts physics education. Validation data was analysed using the Vaiken formula a score of 0.90 was obtained, which means that all items are valid. After the validation stage, the instrument was tested on 423 respondents consisting of high school students from the provinces of East Java and Riau. The test data were analysed through four steps: 1) exploratory factor analysis, 2) confirmatory factor analysis, 3) Cronbach's alpha reliability, and 3) item response theory using the graded response model. The EFA results showed that from 16 question items, they resulted in groupings into 4 factors: Teacher and Physics as a Future Vocation, Physics learning, Physics as a Process, and Enthusiasm toward Physics. The reliability of the items based on cronbach's alpha score 0.94 category a very good reliability level. The performance of each item through the IRT GRM analysis shows that the item discrimination power is in the moderate to very high category, and the item support is in the easy to moderate category. The CATP test is feasible and reliable in measuring attitudes toward physics

Abstract

Pro-environmental behaviour is a critical global issue across all sectors, including education. This study examines how family socioeconomic background influences internet addiction and pro-environmental behaviour among elementary school students, investigates the effects of school type and grade level, and explores gender as a moderating variable in these relationships. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 210 parents (150 females, 60 males) through convenience sampling. The findings reveal that family economic status and family structure significantly and positively influence children's internet addiction, with students from affluent and two-parent families being more prone to smartphone or internet overuse. Internet addiction, in turn, has a significant negative impact on students’ pro-environmental behaviour. The effect of maternal education on pro-environmental behaviour is more pronounced among male students, whereas family economic status has a stronger influence on female students.. Islamic education was found to have no significant effect on either internet addiction or pro-environmental behaviour. This study contributes to the theoretical discourse in Islamic education and offers practical implications for curriculum and instructional development within Islamic educational settings. ABSTRAK Perilaku pro-lingkungan merupakan isu global yang penting di berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh latar belakang sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap kecanduan internet dan perilaku pro-lingkungan pada siswa sekolah dasar, meneliti pengaruh jenis sekolah dan tingkat kelas, serta mengeksplorasi peran moderasi gender dalam hubungan-hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data diperoleh dari 210 orang tua siswa (150 perempuan, 60 laki-laki) melalui teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status ekonomi dan struktur keluarga secara signifikan dan positif memengaruhi kecanduan internet pada anak. Siswa dari keluarga mampu dan keluarga dengan dua orang tua cenderung lebih rentan terhadap kecanduan smartphone atau internet. Kecanduan internet secara signifikan berdampak negatif terhadap perilaku pro-lingkungan siswa. Perilaku pro-lingkungan siswa perempuan lebih dipengaruhi oleh status ekonomi keluarga dan sedangkan pengaruh pendidikan ibu lebih besar pada siswa laki-laki. Pendidikan Islam tidak ditemukan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecanduan internet maupun perilaku pro-lingkungan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi literatur pendidikan Islam dan menawarkan implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan pembelajaran di lingkungan pendidikan Islam.
