Abstract

Shallot (Allium cepa var. aggregatum) is a high-value horticultural crop with significant economic importance in the culinary, health, and industrial sectors. The increasing market demand has driven eJorts to develop varieties that are adaptive to diverse environmental conditions. Of the more than 20 shallot varieties cultivated in Indonesia, only a few are capable of adapting to acidic soils. This study aimed to evaluate the adaptive capacity of three shallot varieties (Bima Brebes, Sanren, and Lokananta) in acidic soil conditions. The experiment was conducted on acidic soil using a non-factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 9 replications, resulting in 27 experimental units. The results showed that all three varieties were able to grow on regosol soil with a soil pH value of 4.60 and significant differences were observed among the varieties for most growth parameters. Bima Brebes exhibited the highest performance at the final observation, with a plant height of 28.21 cm, 43.07 leaves, 9.69 tillers, 10.62 bulbs, 31.29 g bulb weight per clump, 40.96 g fresh bulb weight per plant, and 3.62 g dry bulb weight per plant. These findings suggest that Bima Brebes has strong potential as a superior variety for sustainable optimization of acidic soils. Keywords: Adaptation, Bima Brebes, Lokananta, Sanren

Abstract

Integrasi teknologi digital ke dalam ranah Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) telah memicu pergeseran paradigma yang mendalam dalam cara pendidik memahami proses belajar mengajar. Laporan penelitian ini menyajikan analisis komprehensif mengenai persepsi guru PAUD terhadap penggunaan media digital, dengan mengambil studi kasus di TKIT Sholahuddin Al Ayyubi, Sumedang. Melalui lensa psikologi perkembangan, laporan ini mengevaluasi bagaimana alat-alat digital memengaruhi domain kognitif, sosial-emosional, dan motorik anak pada fase krusial "Masa Emas." Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, memanfaatkan teknik analisis data interaktif untuk mengeksplorasi narasi dan pengalaman nyata para pendidik di lapangan.  Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa guru-guru di TKIT Sholahuddin Al Ayyubi memandang media digital sebagai instrumen ganda: sebagai katalisator motivasi dan literasi yang efektif, namun juga sebagai sumber risiko potensial terhadap perkembangan sosial dan kesehatan fisik anak. Berdasarkan perspektif sosiokultural Lev Vygotsky, media digital diidentifikasi mampu menyediakan scaffolding dalam Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), khususnya melalui metode digital storytelling yang memperkaya kemampuan bahasa ekspresif. Namun, dari perspektif kognitif Jean Piaget, terdapat kekhawatiran mengenai kesesuaian konten digital dengan tahap pra-operasional anak yang masih membutuhkan interaksi konkret. Laporan ini juga menyoroti tantangan sistemik berupa keterbatasan literasi digital guru dan infrastruktur, serta upaya strategis Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumedang melalui platform Sumedang Simpati Academy (SSA) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital pendidik. Kesimpulan dari laporan ini menekankan perlunya model integrasi teknologi yang seimbang, berpusat pada anak, dan didukung oleh kolaborasi erat antara sekolah dan orang tua guna memastikan bahwa penggunaan media digital selaras dengan tugas-tugas perkembangan anak yang holistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pengalaman adaptasi mahasiswa asing dalam menghadapi culture shock selama menempuh studi di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Mahasiswa asing yang datang ke Indonesia berhadapan dengan perbedaan bahasa, kebiasaan sosial, serta pola komunikasi yang memengaruhi proses penyesuaian mereka di lingkungan akademik maupun sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan landasan fenomenologi Alfred Schutz untuk memahami bagaimana pengalaman tersebut dimaknai dan dijalani oleh para informan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tujuh mahasiswa asing yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan pengalaman mereka dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungan budaya baru. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan interpretasi makna pengalaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi mahasiswa asing berlangsung melalui proses memahami perbedaan budaya, menghadapi hambatan bahasa, menyesuaikan diri dengan pola interaksi lokal, serta membangun kenyamanan melalui dukungan sosial dari lingkungan kampus. Pengalaman tersebut tidak hanya membantu mereka mengatasi culture shock, tetapi juga membentuk pemahaman baru terhadap diri sendiri dan lingkungan sosial tempat mereka hidup. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa adaptasi budaya merupakan proses pemaknaan berkelanjutan yang dipengaruhi oleh interaksi, refleksi, dan dinamika kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

In the era of the creative economy, soft skills in entrepreneurship have become one of the requirements that must be possessed by the younger generation, especially students. Students need to be trained not only to understand the theory of entrepreneurship but also to develop practical skills relevant to the local context. This study aims to improve the entrepreneurial creativity of students in the History Education study program through promotional videos based on Jambi's culinary heritage. The research method is Classroom Action Research, carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, analysis, and reflection. It was conducted in class R003 for third-semester students taking the Histo-entrepreneurship course in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results show that the application of the PjBL model with promotional videos based on Jambi's culinary heritage in the history and entrepreneurship course can improve students' entrepreneurial creativity. Students' entrepreneurial creativity increased with each cycle. In cycle I saw a percentage of 82.1%; in cycle II, 90.68%; and in cycle III, 101.2%. This study implies that students are able to develop innovative business ideas based on local wisdom and digital technology, as well as strengthen soft skills such as creativity.

Abstract

The banking sector plays a crucial role in driving economic growth and maintaining financial stability by directing funds to productive sectors while managing risks that affect profitability and resilience. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by PRISMA principles to explore how risk management practices, especially Non-Performing Loan (NPL) management, influence bank performance. Lending, as the core banking activity, is key to profitability and financial intermediation, yet high NPL levels can undermine income and stability, particularly in developing countries like Indonesia. By reviewing 16 recent empirical studies, the findings show that effective risk management including strong credit governance, adherence to Basel III standards, technology-supported lending systems, and an empowered Chief Risk Officer helps reduce NPLs and improve financial performance as reflected in ROA, ROE, NIM, and other risk-adjusted indicators. Furthermore, a comprehensive approach that combines regulatory compliance, risk diversification, and sustainability strengthens long-term resilience. These insights provide practical guidance for regulators, bank managers, and researchers in designing flexible, transparent, and sustainable risk management strategies. The study emphasizes that managing NPLs is not just a technical or operational task but a central strategy for ensuring banks remain profitable, stable, and resilient over the long term.

Abstract

The issue of non-Muslim leadership has become a problematic discourse in the context of interreligious relations in Indonesia, particularly for Muslims in managing socio-political and religious interactions with non-Muslim communities. This problem arises from the tension between the state constitution, which guarantees equal political rights for all citizens, and certain textual interpretations of the Qur’an that are often understood as prohibiting non-Muslim leadership. As the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia faces a unique situation in which Muslims adhere both to the national constitution and to religious principles derived from the Qur’an. This study aims to identify the Qur’anic verses used by M. Quraish Shihab in discussing the issue of non-Muslim leadership, to analyze his interpretation of these verses, and to examine his views on non-Muslim leadership in the contemporary context. The research employs a qualitative approach based on contemporary Qur’anic exegesis, using a descriptive-analytical method to examine primary and secondary sources related to Quraish Shihab’s interpretations. The findings indicate that Quraish Shihab does not view the relevant Qur’anic verses as establishing an absolute and universal prohibition against non-Muslim leadership. Instead, he interprets them contextually, considering their historical background and socio-political circumstances. In the context of modern Indonesia, Quraish Shihab argues that appointing a non-Muslim leader is permissible as long as it brings public benefit (maslahah) and does not result in harm or injustice. However, he maintains that Muslims should ideally prioritize leaders from among the believers, while still acknowledging the legitimacy of non-Muslim leadership under certain conditions in a pluralistic society.
