Abstract

Kondisi menstruasi merupakan salah satu kendala yang dijadikan alasanbagi wanita untuk tidak melakukan kegiatan olahraga. Keadaan tersebut sampaisekarang masih mempengaruhi sebagian atlet terutama bagi yang tingkatpengetahuan olahraga dan kesehatannya masih tergolong kurang. Sebenarnyawanita dapat melakukan kegiatan olahraga baik yang bersifat rekreasi maupunkompetisi tanpa terpengaruh oleh menstruasi mereka. Penampilan atlet yangoptimal harus didukung oleh ketersediaan energi dan zat gizi yang optimal. Padakondisi menstruasi, atlet putri membutuhkan zat gizi terutama zat besi yang lebihtinggi. Selama ini belum banyak penelitian yang mengungkap gambarankeseimbangan energi dan asupan zat gizi atlet putri pada saat menstruasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang menggambarkankeseimbangan energi dan asupan zat gizi atlet putri saat menstruasi. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan keseimbangan energi danasupan zat gizi atlet putri pada saat menstruasi dan pada saat tidak menstruasi.Penelitian ini dilakukan di GOR UNP dan Labor Tes Pengukuran dan EvaluasiOlahraga FIK UNP pada bulan Juni hingga November 2015. Teknik pengambilansampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel yang dapat diolahadalah sebanyak 30 orang. Data keseimbangan energi dan asupan zat gizi didapatmelalui pencatatan jenis makanan yang dikonsumsi dan jenis aktifitas fisik yangdilakukan selama 24 jam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif danuji t tes. Hasil uji statistik t-tes menunjukkan bahewa tidak terdapat perbedaankeseimbangan energi yang signifikan pada saat menstruasi dengan pada saat tidakmenstruasi. Tidak terdapat perbedaan asupan karbohidrat dan asupan vitamin Cpada saat menstruasi dengan pada saat tidak menstruasi. Terdapat perbedaan yangsignifikan antara asupan protein, asupan zat besi pada saat menstruasi dan padasaat tidak menstruasi.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan footwork atlet tenis meja PTM Gempas Pauh Sicincin. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengungkap perbedaan latihan shadow play dan ladder drill terhadap kemampuan footwork atlet tenis meja PTM Gempas Pauh Sicincin. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu menggunakan rancangan ANAVA 2 x 2. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 16 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling, tes motivasi latihan menggunakan angket motivasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis varian dua jalur dan analisis lainnya diuji dengan uji t. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah 1). Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan footwork atlet yang diberi latihan shadow play dengan atlet yang diberi latihan ladder drill secara signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,039. 2). Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan footwork atlet yang memiliki motivasi latihan tinggi dengan atlet yang memiliki motivasi latihan rendah secara signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. 3). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara varian latihan dengan motivasi latihan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan footwork atlet dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,828. 4). kemampuan footwork atlet yang diberi latihan ladder drill lebih baik dari latihan shadow play pada kelompok atlet yang memiliki motivasi latihan tinggi namun tidak signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,156. 5). Kemampuan footwork atlet yang diberi latihan ladder drill lebih baik dari latihan shadow play pada kelompok atlet yang memiliki motivasi latihan rendah namun tidak signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,144. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebugaran jasmani remaja SMP dalam masa Covid 19 di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Oktober 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian crossectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 110 orang remaja usia 13-15 tahun yang diambil secara proposional random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes kebugaran jasmani Indonesia untuk remaja usia 13 sampai 15 tahun. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Dari analisis data diperoleh tingkat kebugaran jasmani remaja tidak ada yang tergolong baik sekali dan sebagian besar (57,27%) termasuk kategori kurang. Sebesar 2,72% tingkat kebugaran remaja termasuk kategori baik dan sebesar 23,63% kategori sedang. Masih terdapat 16,36% remaja yang termasuk kategori tingkat kebugaran kurang sekali.

Abstract

The primary issue addressed in this study is the low academic performance in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) among students, influenced by various internal factors, such as physical fitness, breakfast habits, and self-confidence. This research aims to examine the effects of physical fitness, breakfast habits, and self-confidence on PJOK learning outcomes. The study employed a quantitative method with a path analysis approach. The sample was selected using Simple Random Sampling from a population of 176 students, resulting in 60 students as participants. Data were collected using the National Student Fitness Test (TKPN) to assess physical fitness, a food recall questionnaire for breakfast habits, a self-confidence questionnaire, and report card scores for learning outcomes. The findings reveal that physical fitness has a significant direct effect on PJOK learning outcomes, contributing 18.92%. Breakfast habits also have a significant direct effect, contributing 0.27%. Self-confidence contributes a direct effect of 31.08%. Additionally, there is an indirect effect of physical fitness on learning outcomes through self-confidence, contributing 88.6%, and an indirect effect of breakfast habits on learning outcomes through self-confidence, contributing 0.68%. Collectively, physical fitness, breakfast habits, and self-confidence contribute a total of 82.70% to PJOK learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that these three variables play a vital role in improving students' PJOK learning outcomes, both directly and indirectly through enhanced self-confidence.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the PE (Physical Education) learning process still uses conventional learning models, due to the limitations of PE teachers in implementing various learning models, resulting in low student learning motivation. This study aims to produce a Team Games Tournament (TGT) model in PE learning to improve the learning motivation of students at Elementary School of 24 Bengkulu.This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data obtained are assessments and suggestions from media experts, material experts and language experts, assessments and suggestions from PE teachers, self-assessment of student learning motivation. The analysis techniques used are validity tests, practicality tests and product effectiveness tests.The validation results show a very good level of validity, with 96.25% for media, 95.42% for material and 84.44% for language. The practicality test involving three PJOK teachers produced an average score of 98% indicating a very good level of practicality. The effectiveness test based on the results of N.Gain showed a percentage value of 81.94% with a very effective category. This shows that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) module can increase the learning motivation of class V students of Elementary School of 24 Bengkulu.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the athlete's lack of concentration when competing during the pandemic. The aim of this research is to determine the direct and indirect influence of emotional levels, motivation and self-control on athletes' concentration. This type of research is correlational using the path analysis method. The population in this study were female athletes, sampling used purposive sampling, totaling 30 female athletes. The test instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire of emotionality, motivation, self-control and concentration. The data analysis technique uses Path Analysis with α = 0.05. The results of the research are: (1) There is a direct emotional influence on athlete concentration during the pandemic at the Sakato Minang Kabau training in Padang City, which is 9.12%. (2) There is a direct effect of motivation on the concentration of athletes during the pandemic at the Sakato Minang Kabau Training Center, Padang City, which is 6.30%. (3) There is a direct influence of the Self-Mastery variable on Athlete Concentration during the pandemic at the Sakato Minang Kabau Training Center, Padang City, which is 9.24%. (4) There is an indirect influence of Emotion on Concentration through Self-Mastery of 16.81%. (5) There is an indirect effect of motivation on concentration through style of 8.35%. (6) There is an indirect influence of Emotion on Concentration of 15.1%.

Abstract

PE (Physical Education) teachers play a role in shaping students who are physically and mentally healthy, and social. Adequate teacher competence is needed, although challenges such as self-development, technology utilization, and policy support still exist. This study analyzes the influence of self-development, potential, and educational policies on the competence of PE teachers in Pasaman Barat using  the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results showed that self-development had a significant effect on teacher competence with a coefficient of 0.585 and also increased teacher potential (coefficient 0.765). Potential plays a role as a mediation variable with a significant influence (0.442) on competence. However, education policy did not show a significant direct influence on competence (coefficient 0.015) but contributed to an increase in potency (0.119). These findings emphasize the importance of continuous self-development programs and more effective policy support to improve the competence of PE teachers.

Abstract

Pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis permainan pada siswa sekolah dasar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kebugaran jasmani. Model ini membahas aspek-aspek utama termasuk keterampilan kognitif, emosional, dan psikomotorik, yang penting untuk pembelajaran yang efektif. Mengatasi kendala umum seperti kurangnya minat, monoton, dan keterbatasan guru dalam berbagai pendekatan pengajaran adalah inti dari upaya ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), yang mencakup fase pra-pengembangan dan pengembangan. Pra-pengembangan meliputi identifikasi masalah, tinjauan literatur, studi lapangan, dan penyelidikan awal, sedangkan pengembangan meliputi penyusunan model, validasi ahli, pengujian produk, dan finalisasi. Subjek dari SDN 11 Koto Sungai Sarik, Pariaman bersama validator ahli berkontribusi dalam pengumpulan data melalui angket dan tes kebugaran jasmani, dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Temuan menunjukkan efektivitas model berbasis permainan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kebugaran jasmani, terbukti dalam peningkatan pretest-posttest yang signifikan. Hal ini menggarisbawahi dampak positifnya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, menawarkan solusi yang layak untuk tantangan pendidikan umum. Model ini muncul sebagai alat yang menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan siswa dan kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Pendidik jasmani didorong untuk mengintegrasikan model ini untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan kesejahteraan siswa, sehingga meningkatkan pengalaman pendidikan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This study identified low VO2 Max in SSB Ripan's Soccer School Padang football athletes, which is suspected to be due to lack of physical activity, poor sleep quality, and sub-ideal body mass index (BMI). The impact of low VO2 Max includes rapid fatigue and decreased concentration, especially in the second half of the match, which affects the team's performance. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of physical activity, sleep quality, and BMI on the VO2 Max of athletes. The type of research is quantitative with a comparative approach, involving 25 athletes with purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used included the IPAQ-SF questionnaire for physical activity, PSQI for sleep quality, anthropometric test for BMI, and YO-YO IR Test level 1 for VO2 Max. The data were analyzed using path analysis at α = 0.05. The results of the study showed: (1) physical activity had a direct effect on VO2 Max (py1 = 0.442), (2) sleep quality had a direct effect (py2 = 0.301), (3) BMI had a direct effect (py3 = 0.355), (4) there was an indirect effect of physical activity through BMI (total influence 0.319%), and (5) an indirect effect on sleep quality through BMI (total influence 0.323%). Overall, physical activity, sleep quality, and BMI contributed 70.1% to the athletes' VO2 Max. In conclusion, there was a significant influence of physical activity, sleep quality, and BMI on the VO2 Max of SSB Ripan's Soccer School Padang football athletes

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of game-based learning strategies versus conventional approaches on developing elementary school students' basic volleyball skills. Using an experimental design, two groups received different treatments: game-based learning and conventional methods. The sample consisted of 60 fifth-grade students, assessed for fundamental motor skills using the TGMD-2 subtest and basic volleyball techniques using the AHHPERD instrument designed for ages 10-18. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and a 2x2 ANOVA yielded the following findings: (1) Game-based learning strategies were more effective than conventional approaches in improving basic volleyball technique skills (p = 0.030), (2) Students with high fundamental motor skills (FMS) showed significantly better basic volleyball technique skills compared to those with low FMS (p = 0.039), (3) There was a significant interaction between learning strategies and students' FMS (p = 0.013), indicating varying effectiveness based on FMS levels, (4) Game-based learning strategies were more effective in enhancing basic volleyball technique skills in students with high FMS compared to conventional methods (p = 0.003), (5) Conventional learning strategies were more effective than game-based approaches in improving basic volleyball skills in students with low FMS (p = 0.011.
