Abstract

Sexual violence perpetrated by authority figures such as teachers, lecturers, religious leaders, medical professionals, and law enforcement officers constitutes a severe violation of human rights with profound psychological consequences, particularly for women and children. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to analyze 11 national and international journal articles published between 2020 and 2024. The aim of this review is to explore the dynamics of power relations, the psychological impact on survivors, barriers to recovery, and intervention strategies. Findings reveal that unequal power relations between perpetrators and victims significantly contribute to the occurrence of sexual violence and hinder the recovery process. Survivors frequently experience severe psychological symptoms, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, dissociation, and developmental disturbances especially in children. Recovery barriers include societal stigma, limited legal support, and the normalization of the perpetrator's authority. Effective recovery strategies identified include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emotional support from family, and community-based approaches. This study highlights the urgent need for integrated, trauma-informed interventions and the strengthening of legal protection systems to break the cycle of sexual violence perpetrated by authority figures.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the experiences of parents of children with special needs (CWSN) in facing social stigma originating from their surrounding environment, including both the general public and close relationships such as family and friends. This research employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method, involving three participants with diverse child backgrounds and social environments. Data were collected through in depth interviews and analyzed using data reduction techniques. The results show that the forms of social stigma experienced are not only explicit, such as direct labeling, but also appear in subtle, often unconscious forms, known as microaggressions. The most painful stigmas often come from those closest to the parents, who are expected to provide emotional support. Nevertheless, the participants demonstrated the ability to build psychological resilience through self reflection, social support, and the use of social media as a space for empowerment. These findings affirm that the experience of confronting stigma, when supported appropriately, can trigger the formation of a stronger identity as parents of CWSN and create space for positive psychological growth.

Abstract

Kebahagiaan dosen adalah saat merasakan tubuh dan jiwanya sehat. Banyak permasalahan pekerjaan dan keluarga pada dosen karena kurangnya pengelolaan konflik yang baik sehingga bekerja tidak fokus. Support sistem pada dosen penting, agar mampu mengelola konflik yang terjadi dan menjalani aktivitasnya di pekerjaan dan keluarga dengan fokus dan bahagia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji secara empiris kebahagiaan dosen yang ditinjau dari konflik kerja-keluarga melalui peran mindfulness sebagai variabel mediator. Metodenya adalah kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan responden Dosen yang ada di kota Semarang sebanyak 120 orang. Menggunakan Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan metode analisis data dengan Regresi simple mediation model  SPSS by Hayes. Hasil penelitian mennjukkan ada pengaruh konflik kerja-keluarga terhadap kebahagiaan dosen melalui mindfulness sebesar RSquare=.515 p<0.05. Konflik kerja-keluarga berpengaruh lebih besar secara langsung terhadap kebahagiaan dosen dibandingkan melalui mindfulness. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi agar dapat dijadikan acuan tentang pengaplikasian pengelolaan konflik di pekerjaan dan keluarga.

Abstract

Education in non-formal schools, particularly at the middle level requires special attention to enhance educational quality. School principal leadership and quality management administration have been recognized as key factors potentially affecting teacher performance. However, the relationship between these factors and teacher work motivation in non-formal schools is not fully understood. This study aims to investigate the relationship between school principal leadership, quality management administration, work motivation, and teacher performance in middle level non-formal schools. the study employs a survey method using questionnaires as the data collection instrument. The research sample consists of  teachers from several non-formal schools selected randomly. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive statistical techniques and regression analysis. The analysis results indicate that school principal leadership positively influences teacher work motivation in non-formal schools. Quality management administration also has a positive effect on teacher work motivation. Furthermore, teacher work motivation significantly influences teacher performance in non-formal schools. This study concludes that school principal leadership and quality management administration positively affect teacher work motivation, which in turn influences teacher performance in non-formal schools. Therefore, the development of strategies to enhance school principal leadership, quality management administration, and teacher work motivation in non-formal schools will support the improvement of educational quality at this level. The main contribution of this research is to clarify the relationship between school principal leadership, quality management administration, work motivation, and teacher performance in non-formal schools, which can serve as a basis for the development of more effective educational policies and practices at this level

Abstract

Perkembangan modernisasi dan globalisasi telah memunculkan berbagai permasalahan sosial. Banyak perilaku-perilaku sosial yang menyimpang dan kenakalan remaja termasuk salah satunya adalah perilaku bullying. Kecerdasan emosional akan berperan didalam perkembangan perilaku dan sikap yang terjadi pada anak. Sehingga diperlukan upaya pengembangan kecerdasan emosional didalam mencegah penyimpangan perilaku yang akan terjadi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode kualitatif, yaitu dengan proses wawancara, diskusi, dan dokumentasi. Objek penelitiannya yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, beberapa guru dan 15 orang siswa di SMPIT Mutiara Cendekia LubukLinggau. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti adalah model interaktif meliputi Kondensasi data (data condensation), Penyajian Data (data display) dan Penarikan Kesimpulan (Conclusions drawing). Hasil penelitian menunjukan anak-anak dengan kecerdasan emosional rentan terhadap kesehatan mental (emosi) dan mereka juga lebih cenderung berperilaku agresif. Hasil yang akan berbeda dengan anak-anak dengan kecerdasan emosional menggunakan ketenangan emosional untuk menjaga hubungan yang sehat ketika mereka senang, sedih, atau marah. Guru memiliki peran besar sebagai pengubah dalam membentuk karakter dan moral siswa dimana hal tersebut dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional. Tindakan bullying yang terjadi di sekolah sehingga menimbulkan masalah, ketika guru tidak terlibat atau mengabaikannya. Tindakan komprehensif diperlukan untuk menghindarkan dari perilaku bullying pada anak sekolah. Kecerdasan emosional yang baik akan memberikan dampak positif terhadap pencegahan terjadinya sikap atau perilaku bullying dikalangan anak.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difference between the idealism and reality of religion in life. Religion idealistically teaches about goodness, peace, and love, which is the strength that enables it to encourage its adherents to fight for love, humanity, peace, and unity in humanising humanity. However, in reality, religion has become one of the instruments that trigger violence, both verbally and physically, as well as prolonged conflict. The purpose of this research is to provide an insight into the philosophical foundation from the perspective of William James's pragmatism in developing moderate behaviour in a multicultural society. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, grounded in library research. The results of this research indicate that William James's pragmatist philosophy emphasises the utility of religion for humans, specifically in improving their moral character. If it is not beneficial, then it should be left alone. William James's pragmatist philosophy holds that every religion possesses a sacredness derived from the divine, which must be treated with mutual respect and appreciation for existing differences. Religious moderation is a concrete form of religious practice that is moderate in confronting religious radicalism, which threatens the very existence of religion and also impacts social, national, and state life. William James's pragmatic philosophy serves as the philosophical foundation for fostering religious moderation amidst religious pluralism in Indonesia, emphasising the effectiveness of truth that is not merely theoretical but also real in its application. Therefore, religious individuals must practice their faith wisely and express their beliefs without relying on extremism and narrow, dogmatic attitudes.
