Abstract

Increasing teacher competence in learning informatics based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Computational Thinking in the Merdeka Curriculum is an important aspect in facing educational challenges in the digital era. The importance of increasing teacher competence in HOTS and Computational Thinking-based informatics learning lies in the ability to equip students with critical and analytical skills needed in the digital era. In addition, competent teachers can create an innovative learning environment, so that students are better able to face complex challenges in the future and are ready to contribute optimally in society. Therefore, the objectives of this service activity are 1) conducting training for STEM teachers (Informatics, Science, Mathematics subjects) in implementing Informatics learning. (2) Training in compiling HOTS and Computational Thinking based learning assessments, (3) Training in laboratory management.. This activity was attended by 20 teachers, laboratory managers at MTsN 1 Mataram. The results of this activity are proven: (1) STEM teacher competency training in Informatics learning, the average pre-test is 39% and post-test is 96% there is an increase of 58%. (2) HOTS and Computational Thinking assessment preparation training, the average pre-test is 60% and post-test is 94% there is an increase of 34%. (3) Laboratory management training, the average pre-test is 48% and post-test is 89% there is an increase of 41%. Thus, this activity has succeeded in improving teacher skills in utilizing information technology and applying it to the preparation of assessments in learning while improving the overall management capabilities of laboratory management.

Abstract

The determination of poverty status in Lombok Utara district depends on criteria such as income, access to health and education services, and housing conditions. These factors are crucial for assessing the level of community welfare and guiding the allocation of social assistance by the district government. The purpose of this study is to address the gap by utilizing advanced data mining techniques to improve the accuracy of poverty status classification in North Lombok, thereby informing more effective social assistance policies. The method used in this research is the Random Forest (RF), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Naïve Bayes with split data 80% data training and 20% data testing. The finding indicated that the machine learning model the RF algorithm, which achieved an accuracy rate of 82.56%, proved to play an important role in this process by effectively distinguishing between different categories of poverty based on these criteria. In comparison, the KNN algorithm achieved an accuracy of 70.94% and the Naïve Bayes model achieved an accuracy of 53.47%. It means that the machine learning model using the RF algorithm has more accurate accuracy than the KNN and Naïve Bayes algorithm in predicting or recommending Recipients of Social Assistance from the District Government. The implication is that RF machine learning can help the role of social service officers in predicting the economic status of the community. The high accuracy of the RF algorithm enhances its role in informing targeted policy decisions and optimizing the effectiveness of social assistance programs. Nonetheless, continuous improvement is essential to refine the model's predictive capabilities and ensure the accuracy and reliability of poverty assessments. These continuous improvements are essential to effectively alleviate poverty and break the cycle of socio-economic disparities in the region.

Abstract

Government bureaucracy often faces criticism from the public, particularly regarding inefficiency and low work discipline among employees. A frequent complaint is the unproductive use of time, which is often attributed to weak leadership and the failure to enforce applicable regulations. Many believe that the lack of firm decision-making from leaders contributes to poor discipline within government offices. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the reward and punishment system on improving employee work discipline. The method employed was a quantitative method with causal approach. Data was collected through a census, including responses from 34 staff members at the Cakranegara and Sandubaya District Offices. The findings indicate that the reward system had a significant positive impact on employee work discipline. In contrast, the punishment system did not show a significant effect on improving discipline. These results suggest that government offices could enhance employee performance and discipline by focusing more on a well-structured reward system. The study highlights the importance of recognition and incentives as a driving force for motivating employees, while punitive measures might not have the desired outcome in fostering better discipline. It is hoped that the study's findings will contribute in encouraging leaders in government institutions to implement more effective reward and punishment systems to improve overall work discipline and organizational efficiency.

Abstract

The dynamics of significant and sudden changes from the current pandemic have made many educational institutions experience challenges in fully adopting technology into the teaching and learning process. This condition makes every educator required to do work so that it is oriented to innovative work behavior. The consequences of an innovative work culture will encourage increased teacher performance during the current pandemic. This study aims to analyze how big organizational culture and self-efficacy contribute to innovative work behavior and its impact on teacher performance. The research design uses a causal quantitative approach. Then the acquisition of research data using an online questionnaire distribution instrument. The sample used in the study was 215 respondents. The basis for determining the sample is oriented to the non-probability sampling approach by using the purposive sampling formula. A structural equation modeling (SEM) approach using partial least squares (PLS) is used to test organizational culture and self-efficacy on innovative work behavior and its impact on teacher performance. Following the results of research data analysis, it shows that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior. Then it is concluded that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior. For the results of data analysis, further research proves that innovative work behavior has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perusahaan kosmetik atau brand lokal yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti harga, kualitas produk dan iklan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui harga, kualitas produk, dan iklan terhadap minat beli konsumen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah minat beli pelanggan widiya beauty skincare (WBS). Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan maka jumlah sampel diperoleh sebanyak 111 data responden. Data penelitian diambil data sekunder yaitu laporan tahunan perusahaan dan juga laporan keberlanjutan (sustainability report) yang diterbitkan oleh perusahaan. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda dengan aplikasi IBM SPSS statistics 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif pada kualitas produk, Harga berpengaruh positif pada nilai perusahaan, dan iklan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Saran peneliti kepada perusahaan untuk memberikan informasi yang memadai kepada pihak eksternal agar tidak memberikan skor rendah terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk mempertimbangkan variabel-variabel lain selain variabel yang sudah masuk kedalam penelitian, menambah jumlah sampel yang diteliti, menambah periode penelitian.

Abstract

Agency conflict plays a role in influencing a company's ability to maximize its performance. The performance of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2016–2023 period has fluctuated. One of the influencing factors is ownership structure, which impacts the effectiveness of corporate management. This ownership structure is divided into three dimensions: ownership concentration, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership. This study aims to identify and examine the partial and simultaneous effects of  that three dimensions on the Performance of Pharmaceutical Sub-Sector Companies. The research employs a causal associative approach using a quantitative methodology, utilizing panel data analysis techniques involving 10 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies over an eight-year observation period. Consequently, 80 sample data points were processed using E-Views 12. The tests conducted in this study include classical assumption tests (normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test) and hypothesis tests (t-test, F-test, and R² test). The results indicate that, partially, ownership concentration and managerial ownership do not significantly affect company performance, whereas institutional ownership has a positive simultaneous effect on company performance. The simultaneous test results show that the three independent variables in this study collectively influence company performance by 40%.

Abstract

In this study, the main problem raised in this study is whether advertising and sales promotion have a significant influence either simultaneously or partially on consumer purchasing decisions at Ruby Supermarket Cakranegara? In accordance with these problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the significance of the influence of advertising and sales promotion on consumer purchasing decisions at Ruby Supermarket Cakranegara both simultaneously and partially. The type of research used is quantitative research and uses a sample survey method in collecting data. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire, with the analysis tool used in accordance with the researcher's objectives is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, which is then continued with the F test and t test at alpha 5%. In accordance with the objectives of the study, it was found that advertising and sales promotion variables have a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions at Ruby Supermarket Cakranegara both simultaneously and partially. The significance criteria are known based on the F test and t test that have been carried out, where F count and t count have higher values ​​than F table and t table. Based on the results of the t test. The suggestion that can be given according to the research results is that in order to increase sales, the policy that should be the main orientation of Ruby Supermarket Cakranegara is to improve the quality of advertisements that are less attractive to potential consumers so that they are more interested in making purchases.

Abstract

Pengembalian saham merupakan faktor penting bagi investor dalam menilai kinerja investasi dan pembuatan keputusan. Selain itu, perusahaan perlu memperhatikan kinerja keuangan dan kualitas audit eksternal yang dapat meningkatkan keandalan laporan keuangan bagi investor. Tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan juga berperan dalam menciptakan hubungan antara kinerja keuangan, kualitas audit, dan pengembalian saham. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kinerja keuangan dan kualitas audit terhadap pengembalian saham dengan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 14 perusahaan tambang sub-sektor batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sebagai sampel, dengan data selama tiga tahun (2021-2023). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan dan kualitas audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengembalian saham. Selain itu, tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh kinerja keuangan dan kualitas audit terhadap pengembalian saham. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan variabel yang berbeda seperti ukuran perusahaan. Ukuran perusahaan dapat digunakan sebagai variabel moderasi dan dapat menggunakan objek penelitian yang berbeda. Bagi perusahaan tambang sub sektor batu bara yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia disarankan untuk lebih efisien dalam operasional dan fokus pada peningkatan kinerja perusahaan serta memastikan audit eksternal yang lebih dapat dipercaya oleh investor.

Abstract

Hasil survei yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian terhadap 170 mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa semester akhir memang memiliki banyak masalah dan kegelisahan. Namun, sebagian besar masalah yang diidentifikasi oleh tim pengabdian adalah masalah yang sama. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa adalah kurangnya pemahaman mereka tentang teknik yang tepat untuk menangani wawancara kerja. Menggunakan simulasi wawancara kerja dengan mitra mahasiswa semester akhir, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat membantu mitra menyelesaikan masalah atau kegelisahan mereka sebelumnya. Sebagian besar mitra mengatakan bahwa mereka mendapatkan banyak pengalaman berharga dari kegiatan simulasi interview kerja ini. Simulasi ini sudah dapat memberikan gambaran singkat tentang suasana interview kerja dan bagaimana mahasiswa berperasaan saat melakukannya, menurut mitra. Saat melakukan interview kerja, Mitra juga mengatakan bahwa saran dan masukan dari dosen Prodi Manajemen sangat membantunya. Jadi, dapat dikatakan bahwa kegiatan ini telah memenuhi tujuan yang dimaksudkan untuk dilakukan.

Abstract

Digital transformation has played an important role in the sustainability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The use of digital platforms as a marketing strategy continues to show rapid development and has been able to expand market reach. However, not all MSME actors are able to adapt in their implementation and application independently due to low understanding of digital literacy. This community service is intended to encourage and determine solutions to problems in the marketing aspect in the digital era through a Project-Based Learning approach. Through this activity, business actors are able to identify and recognize the problems they are facing and find solutions to these problems. The use of Instagram social media in product marketing can be used as an effective promotional medium that has an impact on expanding market reach, increasing brand awareness, increasing production and sales. In the future, it is also expected to increase the capacity of financial management and digital payments.
