Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of developing the ability of the emotional social child in the game of sticks in the village in the village of the West Lombok Geraga. The purpose of this study was to find out how to play the right relay stick game to improve the emotional social capabilities of children aged 5-6 years. This development research uses data analysis of qualitative descriptive. The subject in this study was 8 children aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by observation and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive. This research was conducted as an effort to improve the emotional social development of children aged 5-6 years through the game sticks conducted in three (3) trial phases in 3 meetings and a percentage increase in the subject. The results of the research obtained at 8 subjects for 3 meetings increased by developing very well in group 1, namely subject 1 AG reached 100% BSB value, subject 2 BA reached 96.15% BSB value, subject 3 I reached 92.30% BSB value, and subject 4 AR reached 96.1 The conclusion of the results of the study is that if the steps of the relay stick players are carried out properly and correctly it can improve the emotional social capacity of children aged 5-6 years in Mendagi Gerung Village.

Abstract

Monopoly game is a game developed and played on a game board that has been designed according to the development needs of children aged 5-6 years with a plant theme consisting of two dice, a red card deck, green card, number card, letter card and money as a medium of exchange. The data collection method used is the method of observation, documentation and expert testing. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using triangulation. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years in Gerantung Subdistrict, Praya Tengah Subdistrict, to determine the cognitive, language and social emotional abilities of early childhood using developed monopoly games. The results of game trials on subjects with four children aged 5-6 years resulted in changes in the steps and ways of playing so that they are appropriate for use in children. The result of this research is the development of monopoly game which consists of 17 game steps. Based on the effectiveness test in measuring the cognitive, language and social emotional abilities of children aged 5-6 years, it is found that this monopoly game can improve cognitive abilities with high categories, language skills with categories. moderate and high category of children's emotional social skills. From the results of the game effectiveness test as a group showed that 100% of the subjects experienced an increase in cognitive, language and social emotional abilities.

Abstract

Based on the research result and discussion about introduction 4 healthy 5 perfect food using playdough to children aged 5-6 at Islam Plus Qamarul-Lail kindergarten, it can be concluded that the food was introduced using pictures to show the children the image of 4 healthy 5 perfect food, the name of each food was written in the children’s workbook to strengthen their memory and knowledge about the food. The researcher also introduced the materials to make the playdough and explained the steps of making it which would be used to make the replica of food. The result showed that the children were familiar with the name of 4 healthy 5 perfect foods thus showing the score of each descriptor as shown in the table i.e. indicator 1 is 75%, indicator 2 is 70%, and indicator 3 is 71%. Each indicator sets the descriptors that each child should achieve. One of the descriptors depicted that some children encountered a little problem to replicate a glass that contained milk because the process was too complicated for the children. However, each child achieved the most descriptors. The result showed that most children got 3 scores which means the children were familiar with most items in 4 healthy 5 perfect food after they were introduced to the food using pictures at the first stage.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low speaking ability of children aged 4-5 years in the Mekar Sari Perumnas Kindergarten. The formulation of the problem is how is the development of big book media that can improve the speaking ability of children aged 4-5 years. The purpose of this research is to find out how the development of big book media that can improve the speaking ability of children aged 4-5 years. in the Mekar Sari Perumnas Kindergarten. This type of research is development research which consist of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were five children aged 4-5 years in the Mekar Sari Perumnas Kindergarten. Methods of data collection in this study using the method of observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research was descriptive qualitative. The research used two stages of development with four meetings. The results obtained at the development stage I (meeting I) obtained a percentage value of (44,29%). there was an increase in stage I (meeting II) by (60,71%), at development stage II (meeting III) it increased again to reach (72,50%), at development stage II (meeting IV or last) of (82,86%). So, it is highly recommended for parents or teachers to be able to develop media that can improve children’s speaking ability, for example, such as big book.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the Covid-19 Pandemic which requires learning from home. The purpose of this study was to find out how the social emotional development ofchildren during the implementation of learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic in Presak Baru Hamlet, Menemeng Village, Pringgarata District, Central Lombok. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years as many as 5 children. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis.The result showed that from the 5 children studied there was 1 child who was BSB (Developing Very Well) and 4 other children in the BSH category (Developing According to Expectations). During the pandemic, parents have different ways of developing their children’s social and emotional aspects, such as: inviting them to do daily routines, inviting them to study together, and inviting gymnastics and singing. So, it can be concluded that the social emotional development of children during learning at home during the Covid-19 period in Presak Baru Hamlet, and of course parents and teachers have an important role during the learning process from home.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of storytelling methods using multimedia to improve language skills, especially listening and speaking skills in children group B at TK Rinjani Unram in the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is development research, with three stages of development consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and development analysis. The subjects of this study were 10 children group B. Data collection methods used in this research are observation and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out descriptive qualitatively. The development of storytelling methods using multimedia to improve the language skills of children group B is carried out with steps such as: (1) the preparation stage, (2) the stage opening, (3) the stage of implementing the process of watching a fairy tale (4) the stage of watching a fairy tale. The results of the research obtained by the researcher at the development stage I obtained an average result of 40.16%, at the second development stage the average result was 62.66% and in the third development stage the achievement of language skills development in children group B. reached 88.33%. The conclusion is that language skills, especially listening and speaking skills in children group B in TK Rinjani Unram can be improved through the development of storytelling methods using multimedia which are carried out repeatedly by always making improvements at each stage of development.

Abstract

The social development of children at birth in KB Habibi NW aok Tawah is still an immature and less cooperative child in play, unable to obey the rules and be responsible for his behavior. This is because the teacher’s induced social development stimulation is not optimal in which researcher are providing social stimulation to leaners by using established methods designed to fit the range of 5-6 yeas social development. The purpose of this study is to improve social skills through the Tegatour method for children aged 5-6 years at KB Darul Habibi NW Paok Tawah, Praya District, for the 2020/2021 academic year. The research was conducted using R&D development research with 3 stages of development, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection on 10 children. data collection in this study using observation and documentation methods and data collection using qualitative descriptive. In the first stage of development research, the average result was 42.03% with the undeveloped category while in the second development stage it increased with an average value of 63.95% with the category starting to develop and in the third development stage the average value of children's social improvement increased to 80.03% with the criteria of developing as expected. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the activities of the Tegatour method can improve the social skills of children aged 5-6 years in KB Darul Habibi NW Paok Tawah, Praya District, for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

This research was setting by the lack of fine motor skills of children. This was because the children’s fine motor development when playing is still not effective, in this research use the constructive play method using clay media to improve children’s fine motor skills. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of constructive play with clay media to the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in North Maria Village, Wawo District, Bima Regency in 2020. This research was conducted during of Covid-19 pandemic while still paying attention to health protocol. The population and sample consisted of 8 children who were divided into 4 children in the control group and 4 children in the experimental group. Based on the normality and homogeneous assumption testing, the normality test on the difference between the pretest and posttest with a significance level of 0.087 (p> 0.05) the research data spread normally and met the normality assumption. Homogeneous testing in this research using Levene Test, which obtained a test statistic value of 1.370 with a significance value of 0.261, then the fine motor skills of children met the assumption of homogeneity. Hypothesis testing using Paired T Different Test with a T test value of 100.625 with a significance value of <0.001. The significance value is less than the 5% significance level, indicating that the initial hypothesis (H0) was rejected. It can be concluded that there was an influence of the constructive play method with clay media on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in North Maria Village, Wawo District, Bima Regency, in 2020.

Abstract

Speaking skill is the skill of producing speech sound to convey wishes, feelings, and desired to others. The purpose of this study was to find out the use of flannel board developed using the show and tell method to improve the speaking skills of group B children at PAUD Kemala Bhayangkari 06 Bima City in the academic year of 2020/2021 academic year. The study was developmental research with three stages. Each of which consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and analysis of the development. The subjects if this study were 8 children in group B. The methods of data collection used were observation and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study on the use of flannel board developed using the show and tell method showed that the average children’s speaking skills increased, i.e 38,21% in development I, 72,35% in development II, and 95,42% in development III. In conclusion, the use of flannel board developed using the show and tell method could improve the speaking skills of group B children at PAUD Kemala Bhayangkari 06 Bima City.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of behavioral change phenomena that have occurred in children aged 5-6 years in recent years who have been influenced by films, especially cartoons. This study aims to determine the impact of cartoon films on children's behavior. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years who were in BTN West Pagutan, Mataram as many as 20 people. Data were collected through a questionnaire metho The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the cartoons that were often watched by children at BTN Pagutan Indah Mataram were Boboboy, Shiva, Adit and Sopo Jarwo and Upin and Ipin. Watching movies will greatly affect the behavior of children. The impact of cartoons on the behavior of children at BTN Griya Pagutan Indah Mataram, namely changes in behavior towards negative ones such as being lazy to study and preferring to watch while at home, Then behave aggressively such as fighting with his friends, often doing bicycle jumping scenes, bicycle racing, running and jumping both at home and at school. As well as often unclear emotions, and mocking each other. The positive impacts for children such as increasing children's creativity, and making it easier for children to speak Indonesian and Malaysian languages.
