Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact across various sectors, including education. However, the understanding and application of AI in Indonesia's educational environment still face several challenges, such as low digital literacy and limited technological infrastructure. This community service activity aimed to enhance educators’ and education stakeholders’ literacy and understanding of the potential and challenges of using AI in the learning process. The activity was conducted in the form of a webinar titled “Educational Transformation Through Artificial Intelligence Innovation”, attended by 100 participants from diverse backgrounds. The materials presented covered fundamental AI concepts, its application in education, as well as relevant ethical and policy issues. Evaluation results showed an average increase of 60% in participants’ understanding scores after attending the webinar. In addition, over 95% of participants expressed satisfaction with the content delivered and showed interest in follow-up activities. This activity demonstrates that an educational approach through webinars is effective in improving AI literacy among educators and can serve as an initial step toward a more adaptive and inclusive educational transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of using Flipbook Maker on student engagement and the shift in educational paradigms in elementary schools. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study, involving interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of student learning product documents. The research results show that the use of Flipbook Maker significantly enhances student engagement in learning. Students become more active in participating, creative, and collaborative in creating learning materials. Additionally, the application of this technology also brings a shift in the educational paradigm, from a lecture-based teaching approach to a more interactive, project-based, and collaborative learning approach. This study also found that the use of Flipbook Maker contributes to the development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, and creativity, as well as positively affecting learning outcomes. These findings are expected to provide new insights into the use of technology in education, particularly at the elementary school level, and encourage the broader adoption of technology in the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

The research carried out aims to review the use of artificial intelligence in independent learning of Indonesian language skills. The research was carried out using a library study approach which included a series of activities related to the use of library data collection methods, reading and retrieval and processing of research materials. In this research, the data sources are books, journals or internet-based websites that contain the topic or discussion being researched. The data sources in this research include 30 references based on topics raised related to the use of artificial intelligence in independent learning of Indonesian language skills. Language skills include 4 abilities, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. Writing skills are a reference in language skills which must be mastered by students because with writing activities students can express various imaginations or thoughts in writing. Duet AI can help students write essays, reports and other assignments better through the ‘help me write’ feature in Google Docs. First, Duet AI can help students improve their grammar and writing style. Their writing can be identified and corrected for errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Duet AI can also provide feedback on the clarity of their writing. Second, Duet AI can help students develop their own unique writing style. Duet AI will provide feedback on the authenticity and creativity of their writing. It can also help them identify and avoid clichés and overused phrases

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to improve the competence and quality of science teachers in Indonesia by examining educational regulations, teacher training programs, and the utilization of technology in teaching. Using a literature review approach, data were collected from scholarly articles, books, policy reports, and previous studies related to the professional development of science teachers. The results of the study show that although regulations and teacher certification programs are in place, their implementation remains uneven across Indonesia, especially in remote areas. Many science teachers still rely on traditional teaching methods, which hinder the development of students' critical thinking skills. Additionally, technology-based training has great potential but is constrained by infrastructure limitations, such as unequal access to the internet. In conclusion, more inclusive policies, improved training based on pedagogical skills, and investment in infrastructure are necessary to support the equitable and sustainable development of science education quality in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy for improving teacher quality through the integration of competence, professionalism, and incentives in order to enhance teaching performance. The method used is a literature review, which examines various theories, policies, and previous research related to the topic. The results of the literature review show that high teacher competence, developing professionalism, and appropriate incentives can mutually support each other to improve teacher performance. The integration of these three elements has been proven to create a more effective learning environment, where teachers are more motivated and committed to self-development and the quality of teaching. Policies such as Teacher Certification, although providing significant incentives, need to be balanced with ongoing training and non-financial recognition to motivate teachers more comprehensively. In conclusion, the integration of competence, professionalism, and incentives is an effective strategy for improving teacher quality, but the challenges in implementation on the ground, especially in areas with limited resources, still need to be addressed through more inclusive and equitable policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational access disparity between developing and developed countries, focusing on the causes, impacts, and policies implemented. The methodology used is a literature review, examining various sources and previous studies related to educational disparities in both types of countries. The findings indicate that developing countries face greater disparities due to limited educational infrastructure and a lack of trained human resources. Meanwhile, developed countries, despite having better infrastructure, experience disparities mainly caused by socio-economic factors, such as differences in educational access for minority groups and children from poor families. This study concludes that to reduce educational disparities, more inclusive and equitable policies are needed, along with the use of educational technology that can expand access to education in remote areas and among disadvantaged groups.
