Abstract

This study examines approaches to social media use of TikTok in elementary schools, focusing on safety, education, and positive impact. In an increasingly digitally connected environment, children face increased opportunities and risks associated with social media use. The aim of this study is to develop appropriate approach strategies to help students understand how to use her TikTok in a balanced and safe manner. Research methods include literature research on children's social media use and analysis of educational policies related to social media in elementary schools.The results demonstrate the need for educational approaches that focus on positive creativity, digital awareness, and online safety. The proposed approach includes educational sessions, workshops, and training sessions involving students, teachers, and parents. Public relations takes into account age restrictions, privacy settings, and the positive and negative effects of online activity.  The role of teachers and school staff in monitoring and supporting students in the digital world will also be strengthened. The implementation of this outreach strategy aims to create a supportive, educational and safe environment for the u. se of the social media TikTok among primary school children, thereby bridging the gap between technological development and child protection

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1)  motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar, (2) hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar (3) korelasi antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV  43 Sungai Sapih Padang yang berjumlah 73 orang siswa. Teknik  pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling dengan banyak jumlah sampel yaitu 49 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrument penelitian berupa kuesioner. Dari 30 butir soal yang di uji coba, terdapat 28 soal yang valid. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebanyak 74,1 dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 71,5 terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Padang dengan nilai uji korelasi 0,323 dan nilai koefesien rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the role of technology in achieving social justice in education. It will evaluate educational technology initiatives and their impact on improving education quality and equity of access. This type of research is a Systematic Literature Review, which is a systematic study that follows specific procedures to identify, evaluate, and synthesize all relevant research on a given topic. This method yields more comprehensive and reliable results. The findings regarding hopes and challenges in analyzing the role of technology in achieving social justice in education for Indonesia's Golden Generation in 2045 indicate that technology has significant potential to enhance accessibility, engagement, and personalized learning. However, challenges such as the digital divide, infrastructure quality, and limited teacher skills hinder the optimization of technology benefits. Additionally, social and cultural barriers, including resistance to change, are critical factors that need to be addressed to improve the acceptance of technology in education. Therefore, collaborative efforts involving the government, educators, and the community are needed to create an environment that effectively supports the use of technology, enabling all students to benefit and achieve social justice in education.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pelatihan penggunaan Game-Based Learning dapat membantu guru di sekolah di tingkat dasar dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan guru akan lebih siap untuk mengimplementasikan game dalam pembelajaran mereka, yang pada gilirannya dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan akademik siswa. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini, serta menambah wawasan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan. Pelatihan penggunaan Game-Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa di tingkat dasar ini diselenggarakan oleh KGB SD Pariaman Selatan pada Hari Selasa, 26 November 2024, mulai pukul 14.00 hingga 15.30 WIB. Acara ini akan dipandu oleh narasumber, yaitu penulis sendiri, Bapak Gingga Prananda, M.Pd., yang akan membahas penerapan game dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi siswa. Kegiatan pelatihan Game-Based Learning yang diselenggarakan oleh KGB SD Pariaman Selatan pada 26 November 2024 berhasil menarik antusiasme 50 guru dari berbagai sekolah. Para peserta diberikan pemahaman tentang penerapan game dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa. Narasumber, Bapak Gingga Prananda, M.Pd., menjelaskan cara mengintegrasikan game edukatif ke dalam pelajaran seperti matematika dan bahasa Indonesia, serta memberikan contoh praktis yang mudah diterapkan. Para guru merasa lebih percaya diri untuk menggunakan game dalam pembelajaran, yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pengetahuan baru dan mendorong inovasi dalam metode pengajaran.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the implementation of health and sports physical education learning in schools. This research is research using the literature study or literature review method. To conduct this research, the researchers used various search engines such as ProQuest, PubMed, ResearchGate, SagePub, and Scholar to search for online research journals. In the field of school education, sports physical education plays an important role by offering students the opportunity to actively engage in systematic physical activity and share their learning experiences. These experiences aim to encourage physical growth, psychological development, and the adoption of a healthy and active lifestyle throughout one's life. The effectiveness of physical education and sports teaching can, among other things, be assessed through the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. The existence of adequate facilities and infrastructure reflects the quality of the educational experience, which ultimately leads to the successful achievement of educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the evolution of the teacher's role in the technological era, specifically in the context of teaching adaptation in the digital age. Through a literature review approach, this study analyzes various relevant literatures on how technology has changed the way teachers interact with students and design learning. The main findings indicate that the teacher's role has transformed from a traditional instructor to a more dynamic and interactive learning facilitator, thanks to the use of technology. However, challenges such as limited digital skills among teachers and infrastructure gaps remain significant barriers to the implementation of technology in the classroom. Additionally, this study found that the use of models such as SAMR can guide teachers in integrating technology more innovatively. The study concludes that to maximize the benefits of technology in education, teachers need to continuously develop their digital skills through ongoing training and enhance educational infrastructure equitably.

Abstract

Abstract: The implementation of Thematic learning at SD Country 17 Pasar Maurai I is not yet optimal. That is because teachers only use books in learning, so students are less enthusiastic in following the learning process. The use of video media in Thematic learning can provide an alternative way for students to motivate students to study harder. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the development, feasibility, and effectiveness and practicality of learning video media Theme 6 Subtheme 2 for Grade IV Students. The purpose of this study was to determine the development, feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality of learning media video theme 6 subthemes 2 for grade IV students. This research is a research and development (Research and Development). The development model used is the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation,. The population in this development is 3 students, 1 teacher of class IV to find out the practicality of instructional video media developed, and there is also validation of video media from 2 expert lecturers. The results of the practicality of 3 students showed a percentage of 90.62% with a very practical category, and the results of 1 teacher showed a percentage of 92.18% with a very practical category. The results of the media validation from 2 expert lecturers showed a percentage with a very valid category.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berdasarkan pada masalah perkembangan zaman yang terus berubah, sekolah dihadapkan pada sejumlah persoalan salah satunya fenomena tentang kondisi moral/akhlak generasi muda yang rusak, situasi sosial, kultural masyarakat kita akhir-akhir ini memang semakin mengkhawatirkan. Ada berbagai macam peristiwa dalam pendidikan yang semakin merendahkan harkat dan derajat manusia. Hancurnya nilai-nilai moral, merebaknya ketidakadilan, tipisnya rasa solidaritas telah terjadi dalam lembaga pendidikan. Oleh sebab itu dalam suatu sekolah dibutuhkan budaya yang dapat membentuk karakter peserta didik yang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 058/II Sari Mulya bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan (verifikasi). Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SDN 058/II Sari Mulya dilaksanakan oleh peserta didik dan semua warga sekolah termasuk kepala sekolah dan guru dengan cara mengimplementasikan ke dalam bentuk kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan serta pengkondisian, 2) Faktor pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah yaitu dengan adanya kerja sama dan komunikasi yang baik antara kepala sekolah, guru dan tenaga kependidikan yang lain, 3) Faktor penghambat implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah yaitu berasal dari diri peserta didik itu sendiri yang terkadang lalai serta kontrol dari orang tua ketika berada di rumah.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the multicultural values embedded in the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra, and to examine their implementation in literary appreciation learning in vocational high schools. This research employs a qualitative case study approach. The data consist of literary appreciation learning activities in a Grade XII Vocational High School 1 Koto Baru, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra class, with data sources including students and the novel itself. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal a total of 250 multicultural values categorized into five themes: tolerance, trust building, mutual respect, flexible thinking, interdependence, and appreciation. These values are conveyed through the characters’ interactions with individuals from diverse religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. The study also found that these values are reflected and reinforced through classroom activities that promote respect for diversity, cooperative learning, and character development. This research contributes to the development of multicultural-based literary appreciation learning by demonstrating how literature can be used as a pedagogical tool to foster inclusivity, empathy, and social harmony among students.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact across various sectors, including education. However, the understanding and application of AI in Indonesia's educational environment still face several challenges, such as low digital literacy and limited technological infrastructure. This community service activity aimed to enhance educators’ and education stakeholders’ literacy and understanding of the potential and challenges of using AI in the learning process. The activity was conducted in the form of a webinar titled “Educational Transformation Through Artificial Intelligence Innovation”, attended by 100 participants from diverse backgrounds. The materials presented covered fundamental AI concepts, its application in education, as well as relevant ethical and policy issues. Evaluation results showed an average increase of 60% in participants’ understanding scores after attending the webinar. In addition, over 95% of participants expressed satisfaction with the content delivered and showed interest in follow-up activities. This activity demonstrates that an educational approach through webinars is effective in improving AI literacy among educators and can serve as an initial step toward a more adaptive and inclusive educational transformation.
