Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the mortality rates for both the gross and net deaths, data sources, and statistical activities from 2023 to the first quarter of 2024 at X Hospital. Combining evaluation studies—that is, qualitative and quantitative—with a descriptive research methodology. The data processing techniques are interviewing and observation. The qualitative data is processed using an inductive approach, and the quantitative data is processed using bivariate analysis. The population is the research informant, consisting of 5 officers, and the object is the Monthly Recapitulation Form of Hospitalized Patients. The study's results show that the Republic of Indonesia's (Depkes RI) Ministry of Health has set standards for Gross Death Rate <45% and Net Death Rate <25%. The study's results show that the Gross Death Rate value in 2023 is 21.02%, while the Net Death Rate value is 7.15%. The study concludes that the data source obtained is the result of a monthly recapitulation of hospitalized patients with statistical activities in reporting data processing according to the formula used for calculating the Gross Death Rate and Net Death Rate values and the data is presented in Microsoft Excel as tables and graphs.

Abstract

Online registration system allows patients to register quickly and easily without having to queue and come to the hospital. It is recently known that users of online registration system are lower compared to manual registration system. This research intend to determine the effect of online registration system via Mobile JKN on outpatients’ satisfaction in Hospital X Bandung City. This research method is quantitative method. The population of this research were users of online registration system via Mobile JKN in March and April 2024 in total of 201 patients. The sample size used was calculated using the Slovin formula on 36 respondents which was determined using simple random sampling technique. The results of simple linear regression test obtained values 0,000 < 0,05 so it can be concluded that the variable of the online registration system via Mobile JKN has a significant effect on the outpatients’ satisfaction variable. It is recommended to do enhancement of quality and development for online registration system via Mobile JKN in purpose to make online registration to be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Implementing a reporting flow is important for hospitals, because it functions as a management guide and policy to anticipate unexpected situations. Having a flow will make it easier for officers to carry out their work and implementing the flow will encourage officers to be more disciplined and responsible in their work. The aim of this study was to determine the difficulties experienced in managing, collecting data and input reporting the morbidity of the top 10 diseases in outpatients. Qualitative descriptive research. The subjects were the head of medical records, 2 medical records officers and 2 reporting officers. As a result, reporting is carried out by the responsible reporting officer, data collection is in accordance with standard operational procedures, data processing is computerized by the assigned reporting officer and sent via online SIRS to the Health Service at the beginning of each year. Trends in the top 10 diseases in hospitals include viral infections, dyspepsia, dengue fever, diarrhea, bacterial infections, anxiety disorders, radiculopathy, asthma, pulpitis and GERD.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is a communication and information technology system that processes and integrates the whole steps of hospital’s service process in the form of a coordinated network, report and administration procedure to obtain information precisely and accurately. The purpose of this study is to determine the Identification of HMIS Application’s Features Implementation on the Effectivity of Outpatient’s Registration Service in Hospital X Bandung City. This study used descriptive method with qualitative approach which was carried out at Hospital X during March until April 2024 and as many as 4.373 outpatients who have registered to all available polyclinics. The subjects of this study consisted of the head of the medical record unit, 2 registration operators and IT technicians. The results obtained from this study is that the HMIS application at Hospital X hasn’t been running effectively due to often constraint of errors on the HMIS application that being used by Hospital X which also has been connected to BPJS by bridging method till it causes constraints to medical record officers and IT technicians during the registration of the patients along with no exclusive training regarding HMIS application for new employees.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the suboptimal use of audiovisual media in schools, which has not effectively motivated students. The media used were mostly downloaded YouTube videos, which did not enhance students’ creativity and active learning. Therefore, an audiovisual learning media based on the Discovery Learning model was developed for fourth-grade thematic learning at SDN 12 Sungai Liku, focusing on Theme 4, Sub-theme 1, Lessons 1, 2, and 3. This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the 4-D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Instruments used included validation sheets and questionnaires for teacher and student responses. Validation results showed high validity: content (84.32%), design (96.87%), and language (89.28%). Teacher responses indicated a practicality level of 91% (very practical), while student responses reached 72% (practical). Thus, the developed audiovisual media is appropriate for use in integrated thematic learning for fourth-grade elementary students.

Abstract

Laporan Kewaspadaan Dini Rumah Sakit (KDRS) menjadi salah satu laporan yang harus dibuat oleh rumah sakit ketika ditemukan kasus penyakit menular yang berpotensi menjadi wabah. Pemerintah mengatur bahwa fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan wajib melakukan pencatatan, pelaporan, dan upaya penanggulangan penyakit menular kepada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten/Kota (Budi et al., 2019). Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan keterlambatan pelaporan kewaspadaan dini Rumah Sakit- Demam Berdarah Dengue (KDRS-DBD), yang disebabkan oleh proses penginputan data masih secara manual. Metode manual dalam pencatatan dan pelaporan data tidak hanya memakan waktu, tetapi juga rentan terhadap kesalahan dan keterlambatan yang dapat mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan dan respons cepat terhadap kasus DBD. Keterlambatan ini berkontribusi pada buruknya surveilans kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), menghambat kemampuan untuk merespons dan menganalisis data secara cepat dan akurat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, penelitian ini menggunakan teori sistem informasi dan teknologi komputer, Metode perancangan sistem menggunakan ERD (Entity Relation Diagram) dan DFD (Data Flow Diagram) lalu diimplementasikan dengan Bahasa pemrograman Microsoft Visual Studio 2019. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan kemudahan dalam penginputan dan pelaporan KDRS-DBD. Sistem yang diusulkan mengintegrasikan proses input, pengolahan, dan pelaporan data secara otomatis, yang diharapkan dapat mempercepat proses pelaporan

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low creativity and learning outcomes of students, which were below the Minimum Learning Achievement Criteria. This was due to students' lack of participation in learning activities such as asking questions, giving feedback, engaging in discussions, and reading independently. The purpose of this research was to examine the application of the Treffinger learning model on the geography learning outcomes of Phase E students at SMA Negeri 7 Kerinci. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Random sampling was used, with class X E5 as the experimental group and X E1 as the control group. The findings revealed that the creativity score in the experimental group was 75.50% (categorized as good), higher than the control group's 68.57%. The t-test showed a significant difference (p=0.000<0.05), indicating that Treffinger learning had a significant impact. The average posttest score increased from 78.75 to 82.97 after using the Treffinger model, demonstrating its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the minimal utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning activities, particularly concerning the use of interactive learning media. This has become a crucial issue because it affects the students' learning outcomes, which are not yet optimal. At SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur, it was found that students' learning outcomes in Geography have not yet reached the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). This condition encourages research to find effective solutions, one of which is through the innovation of learning media. This study aims to examine the influence of Wordwall game-based learning media on Geography learning outcomes for Phase E students at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur. We used a quantitative approach with an experimental method to objectively measure the impact of the media's use. The population of this study includes all Phase E students at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur. Meanwhile, the sample was specifically divided into two groups, namely class E.3 as the control class and E.9 as the experimental class. To analyze the data, we used descriptive analysis techniques and the t-test statistical test. Based on the data analysis results, the average learning outcome score in the control class was 78.27, while in the experimental class using the Wordwall media, the average was much higher at 88.82. The t-test results showed a value of 7.131 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This significance value indicates that the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the two classes. Thus, it can be concluded that the Wordwall game-based learning media has a significant and positive impact on the improvement of Geography learning outcomes for Phase E students at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur. Abstract

Penetapan kode diagnosa harus mematuhi aturan ICD 10 dan menggunakan terminologi medis yang tepat untuk menghasilkan kode diagnosa yang akurat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi keakuratan penerapan kode diagnosa dalam klaim JKN rawat inap serta unsur-unsur yang mempengaruhi keakuratan ini. Berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilakukan pada April 2024, peneliti menemukan ketepatan penetapan kode diagnosa pada 46 berkas rekam medis dengan 59% dan ketidaktepatan pada 32 berkas dengan 41%. Studi ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Berkas klaim JKN rawat inap bulan Januari 2024, yang terdiri dari 348 berkas, adalah populasi penelitian. 78 berkas dari berkas tersebut dipilih menggunakan teknik probabilitas sampel dan dihitung menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan studi kepustakaan. Beberapa masalah yang ditemukan termasuk kesalahan dalam menentukan diagnosis, menentukan diagnosis utama, dan menggunakan kode diagnosa yang kurang spesifik. Penulis menyarankan agar Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang berlaku dibuat lebih rinci dan tidak terlalu singkat. Selain itu, penulis menyarankan agar petugas koder dilatih sesuai kebutuhan untuk mampu menetapkan kode dengan lebih akurat, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas klaim JKN rawat inap dan mengurangi kesalahan yang dapat berdampak pada pelayanan kesehatan pasien. Akibatnya, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu meningkatkan akurasi penetapan kode diagnosa dan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan.

Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran mendalam tentang bagaimana rumah sakit mengelola dan melindungi rekam medis mereka.Teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Seiring dengan meningkatnya penggunaan catatan kesehatan elektronik dalam layanan kesehatan, memastikan keamanan dan kerahasiaan data pasien menjadi hal yang penting. Hal ini sangat penting terutama dalam hal otentikasi pengguna dan kontrol akses dalam sistem rekam medis elektronik. Penelitian ini fokus pada penerapan penggantian user ID sebagai langkah pengamanan pada sistem rekam medis elektronik yang bertujuan untuk menjaga integritas dan kerahasiaan data pasien. Studi ini menyelidiki kelemahan dalam sistem manajemen identitas pengguna saat ini, termasuk kurangnya sistem identifikasi yang kuat dan rendahnya kesadaran akan konsep tersebut di kalangan staf medis. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini menyarankan untuk memperkenalkan penggantian ID pengguna sebagai solusi. Hal ini termasuk mengubah ID pengguna secara berkala untuk meminimalkan risiko akses tidak sah dan penipuan identitas. Dengan mengubah ID pengguna, organisasi layanan kesehatan dapat meningkatkan keamanan sistem rekam medis elektronik mereka dan melindungi data pasien dari akses yang tidak sah. Untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pengguna terhadap keamanan data, khususnya sosialisasi tentang konsekuensi pertukaran nama pengguna dan kata sandi dengan orang lain dan kewajiban untuk mengubah kata sandi secara berkala, minimal 1 bulan sekali, dan pemasangan rekam medis dan penanggung jawab persetujuan melaksanakan tugas pengawasan pelaksanaan rekam medis elektronik sehari-hari
