Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of problem-based learning models with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach on students' problem-solving abilities in geography. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of two classes, namely a control class of 36 students and an experimental class of 34 students. The posttest results showed that the average score for the control class was 65.14, while that for the experimental class was 74.41. N-Gain analysis showed that the control class obtained an average score of 29.88 (low category), while the experimental class obtained an average score of 38.52 (medium category). These results indicate an increase in students' problem-solving skills after the implementation of the problem-based learning model with a STEM approach. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the problem-based learning model with a STEM approach has a positive effect on improving the problem-solving skills of Grade X Phase E students at SMA Negeri 1 Pariangan.

Abstract

The Pagar Pengantin Dance is a traditional cultural heritage from South Sumatra that contains profound aesthetic, moral, and social values. This dance originally functioned as part of the traditional wedding procession for the bride-to-be, symbolizing purity, gentleness, and readiness to enter married life. In the current educational context, the Pagar Pengantin Dance has begun to be integrated into arts and culture learning activities in schools. This learning not only plays a role in preserving regional dance arts, but also contributes to character formation, instilling moral values, and developing student creativity. This article discusses the urgency of implementing the Pagar Pengantin Dance learning in South Sumatran schools as a medium for cultural preservation, character building, and aesthetic education for the younger generation. This article is a literature review that discusses the implementation and urgency of learning the Pagar Pengantin Dance for students in the South Sumatra region. The Pagar Pengantin Dance as a traditional cultural heritage has high aesthetic, moral, and social values, which originally functioned as part of the traditional wedding procession symbolizing purity, gentleness, and readiness to live married life. Through a review of various literature, this study examines how the Pagar Pengantin Dance is integrated into arts and culture learning in schools as a means of preserving local culture, strengthening character, and developing student creativity. This study also highlights various pedagogical approaches and learning strategies used in transferring cultural values ​​through traditional dance. The review results indicate that learning the Pagar Pengantin Dance not only plays a role in maintaining the existence of regional culture but is also effective in shaping students' aesthetic sensitivity, morality, and cultural identity in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Art-Based Learning (ABL)-based video tutorials in dance learning through a literature review approach. Limited practice time and students’ difficulties in understanding and memorizing dance movement sequences pose challenges in the process of dance education in schools. Video tutorials are considered a learning medium that can provide flexible, engaging, and contextual learning experiences, while the ABL approach emphasizes artistic experiences that encourage reflection, imagination, and creativity among students. The research method employed is a literature review, involving the examination of various scientific articles, books, and relevant research reports. The review procedure includes topic selection, literature search, analysis and synthesis of previous research findings, and systematic presentation of results. The findings indicate that ABL-based video tutorials are effective in improving movement technique skills, understanding aesthetic values, and enhancing appreciation of dance culture. Furthermore, the application of ABL through digital media provides opportunities for students to learn independently, create, and internalize artistic values through personal experiences. Therefore, ABL-based video tutorials represent a potential learning medium to strengthen dance education in the digital era

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) students' self-adjustment to community culture, 2) Obstacles faced by students in the process themselves with the cultural adjustment of society. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation. Research results based on data analysis shows 1) Student self-adjustment to society is classified as not good at adapting. Student self-adjustment to the culture of society which is classified as not good evidenced through five indicators consisting of two dimensions. From fifth Of these indicators, only two of them were able to be fulfilled by students while carrying out the real work lecture process. 2) Adjustment constraints students in the process of adjusting to the culture of society are also not good. In this case, students in overcoming obstacles of self-adjustment do not can overcome all the obstacles that exist in adaptation to the culture of the community is proven by four indicators of adjustment constraints self is only one that can be overcome by students. Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik dalam pembelajaran sablon masih sulit untuk dipelajari siswa, serta kekurangan sarana dan prasarana dalam pembelajaransablon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil pembelajaran sablon pada mata pelajaran seni budaya di SMAN 1 VII koto sungai sariak. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XII F2 di SMAN VII Koto Sungai Sariak. Data yang di dapat melalui studi Pustaka, observasi, wawancara dan dokumntasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik stensil yang digunakan dapat mengatasi permasalah yang ada seperti teknik sablon yang sulit dan memakan banyak waktu, serta kekurangan fasilitas. Hal itu ditunjukkan pada hasil observasi dan wawancara banyak yang berpendapat bahwa teknik stensil lebih mudah dipraktekkan dan tidak memerlukan banyak alat dan bahan.

Abstract

Songket merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang menjadi identitas kebanggan masyarakat di kabupaten tanah datar. Meskipun memiliki nilai historis dan estetika yang tinggi, eksistensi songket saat ini menghadapi tantangan serius akibat kurangnya minat generasi muda serta minimnya strategi promosi yang relavan dengan perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media promosi yang efektif guna meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam melestarikan warisan budaya songket di kabupaten tanah datar. Dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik SWOT (Strengths, Weaknessess, Opportunities, threats). Perancangan media informasi menggunakan prinsip desain grafis. Media promosi yang dihasilkan yakni majalah dan media pendukung yakni x-banner, spanduk, kalender meja, poster A2 dan kemasan.perancangan ini diharapkan bisa menjadi media promosi yang membantu menjaga kelestarian warisan budaya songket kabupaten tanah datar.

Abstract

Inventory management is a crucial factor in retail operations as it influences cost efficiency, sales continuity, and customer satisfaction. In small-scale retail businesses, inventory planning is often performed manually, increasing the risk of overstock and stockout conditions. This study aims to develop a web-based inventory forecasting information system using the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method to support effective inventory planning. The system integrates item data management, sales transaction recording, and demand forecasting within a single platform. The WMA method is applied to 12 months of historical monthly sales data using a three-period forecasting window with an optimized weight configuration of 5–1–7 to emphasize recent demand patterns. Forecasting accuracy is evaluated using Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). A case study conducted at Toko Tita shows that the WMA method outperforms the Simple Moving Average method by producing lower MAD and MAPE values, indicating better responsiveness to short-term demand fluctuations. The results demonstrate that the proposed system provides reliable quantitative information to support inventory procurement decisions, reduces manual calculation errors, and improves operational efficiency. Although forecasting errors increase during extreme demand changes, the system is practical and effective for daily inventory management in small retail businesses.

Abstract

Penelitian yang penulis lakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk implementasi pendidikan karakter di SDN 21 Pasaman dalam membina akhlakul karimah siswa pecandu game online. Pendidikan karakter merupakan bentuk pelaksanaan pendidikan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter terhadap tiap program yang dilaksanakan sekolah. Karakter mencakup didalamnya berbagai budi pekerti, moral dan juga akhlak seseorang. Pendidikan sebagai agen perubahan yang berupaya mengembangkan berbagai potensi yang dimiliki seseorang termasuk juga akhlak, perlu diimplementasikan dan dimanajemen dengan baik. Implementasi pendidikan karakter terhadap pembinaan akhlakul karimah siswa  dapat dilihat dari bentuk perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pmebelajaran,evaluasi yang dilakukan dan faktor yang menjadi penghambat dan pendukung pelaksanaannya. Berdasarkan analisis penulis perencanaan pendidikan karakter telah dilakukan dengan baik, namun pada pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan masih perlu pengoptimalan.

Abstract

Perilaku belajar adalah suatu sikap yang muncul dari diri siswa dalam menanggapi dan meresponi setiap kegiatan belajar mengajar yang terjadi, menunjukkan sikapnya apakah antusias dan bertanggung jawab atas kesempatan belajar yang diberikan kepadanya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pada SDN 13 Pasaman, ditemukan masih banyak perilaku siswa khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran masih rendah seperti masih kurangnya kesadaran mereka di dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, kurang mengulangi pelajaran dirumah, dan kurang di dalam membaca buku. Selain observasi awal penulis juga melakukan wawancara dengan salah seorang guru pendidikan agama Islam yaitu Ibuk NoviaHenni yang menyatakan bahwa: selama ini saya memang melihat banyak dari siswa atau anak-anak yang perilaku atau sikapnya dalam menerima pembelajaran masih kurangnya kesadaran mereka di dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, kurang mengulangi pelajaran dirumah, dan kurang di dalam membaca buku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku belajar siswa di dalam kelas, perilaku belajar siswa di luar kelas serta perilaku belajar siswa di lingkungan keluarga di SDN 13 Pasaman Kecamatan Pasaman Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu menggambarkan suatu gejala, peristiwa, kejadian yang terjadi dengan menggunakan data kualitatif sebagaimana adanya.Sumber datanya peneliti peroleh dari kepala sekolah, guru, siswa dan orang tua siswa dengan demikian peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya perilaku belajar siswa di kelas sudah mulai baik hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan siswa sudah mulai disiplin di dalam proses pembelajaran salah satu indicator siswa disiplin di dalam kelas adalah pada saat masuk kelas dan kehadiran siswa tersebut di dalam proses pembelajaran, Setelah proses pembelajaran selesai dan siswa keluar kelas materi yang disampaikan guru di sekolah harus di aplikasikan di rumah dan adapun implikasinya terhadap sikap perilaku belajar siswa adalah sikap siswa yang sudah mulai berubah ke arah yang lebih baik hal ini dapat dilihat ketika suara azan dikumandan siswa tersebut tanpa disuruh mereka mengambil wudu dan melaksanakan shalat, Setelah proses pembelajaran selesai dan siswa pulang ke rumah materi yang disampaikan guru di sekolah harus di aplikasikan di rumah dan adapun implikasinya terhadap sikap perilaku belajar siswa adalah sikap siswa yang sudah mulai berubah ke arah yang lebih baik hal ini dapat dilihat ketika suara azan dikumandan siswa tersebut tanpa disuruh mereka mengambil wudu dan melaksanakan shalat.

Abstract

Smoking behavior among senior high school students remains a significant public health and educational concern. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence smoking behavior among senior high school students. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that several factors contribute to students’ smoking behavior, including peer influence, family environment, curiosity, and exposure to social and mass media. Peer pressure emerges as the most dominant factor, as students tend to imitate the behavior of their social groups to gain acceptance. Additionally, lack of parental supervision and insufficient awareness of the health risks associated with smoking further reinforce this behavior. The study concludes that comprehensive collaboration between schools, families, and communities is essential in preventing and reducing smoking behavior among students.
