Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan lama perendaman alat tangkap gill net pada hasil tangkapan udang mantis (Harpiosquilla raphidea) di perairan Mendahara Ilir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Desember 2022 sampai dengan 5 Januari 2022 di perairan Desa Mendahara Ilir. Metode yang digunakan adalah percobaan penangkapan ikan dengan 2 perlakuan yaitu 3 jam dan 4 jam perendaman. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil tangkapan udang mantis pada perendaman 3 jam adalah 445 ekor dan 540 ekor pada perendaman 4 jam. Berdasarkan ukuran, jumlah udang mantis terbanyak terdapat pada grade C (sedang), yaitu 165 ekor pada perendaman 3 jam dan 187 ekor pada perendaman 4 jam. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah hasil tangkapan udang mantis pada perendaman 4 jam lebih tinggi daripada udang mantis pada perendaman 3 jam.Kata kunci: Lama Perendaman, udang mantis, gillnet.ABSTRACTThe purpose..of this study was to..determine the difference in the duration of immersion of gill net fishing gear on the catch of mantis shrimp (Harpiosquilla raphidea) in Mendahara Ilir waters. This research was conducted from December 5, 2022 to January 5, 2022 in the waters of Mendahara Ilir Village. The method used is experimental fishing with 2 treatments, namely 3 hours and 4 hours of immersion. Data analysis was performed using the T-test. The results of this study showed that the catch of mantis shrimp at 3 hours of immersion was 445 fish and 540 fish at 4 hours of immersion. Based on size, the highest number of mantis shrimp was found in grade C (medium), which amounted to 165 tails at 3 hours of immersion and 187 tails at 4 hours of immersion. The conclusion of this study is that the catch of mantis shrimp at 4 hours of immersion is more than that of mantis shrimp at 3 hours of immersion.Keyword : Immersing, mantis shrimp, gillnet.

Abstract

East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Mendahara Ilir hamlet is a fishing base to the majority of longline fishing operations. The primary bait that used by fishermen in Mendahara Ilir is golden snails, but the golden snails are currently scarce, therefore is a need for alternative baits. Crustaceans are the primary food source for Senangin fish, the alternative baits utilized in this study were kapur shrimp and loreng shrimp. This study aimed to determine the effect of different types of bait on long line fishing gear on the catch of Senangin fish (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) in Mendahara Ilir. This study was carried out from December 5 to January 5, 2021, in the Mendahara Ilir waters. Experimental fishing was used as the research method, with a completely randomized design, 3 treatments, and 15 repetitions. The results showed that a lot of Senangin fish were caught on loreng shrimp bait of 61 fishes, kapur shrimp bait of 51 fishes, and golden Snail bait of 46 fishes. According to the findings of the analysis of variance, the capture with the golden snail bait was not statistically different from the catch with the kapur shrimp and loreng shrimp bait (P>0,05). The study's findings suggested that kapur shrimp and loreng shrimp bait can be employed as golden snail replacement baits.

Abstract

Mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) catching activities generally use collapsible traps. collapsible traps can be operated using bait and not using bait but the catch is less effective if it does not use bait. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using different types of bait (fresh stingray, salted stingray, fresh eel, and salted eel) on the catch of mangrove crab in Kampung Laut waters. The material of this research is the catch of mangrove crabs using fresh stingrays, salted stingrays, fresh eels, and salted eels as bait. The research method used is experimental fishing. The data collected includes environmental parameters, the total number of catches, and the size of the catch. Data analysis used a completely randomized design (CRD) and Duncan's follow-up test. The results showed that the different types of bait used had an effect on the number of catches, catch weight, and catch size. This study concludes that the catch of mangrove crabs with salted stingray bait gets the most catches, namely 16 fish, and on salted eel bait gets 13 catches while fresh stingray bait treatment only gets 7 catches and on fresh eel gets 5 catches

Abstract

Fishermen in the waters of Sadai Village mostly use the Bagan tancap by catching using different colors of lights. The study aimed to determine the effect of light colors (white, red, yellow, green, and blue) on the Bagan tancap fishing gear on catches in the waters of  Sadai Village, South Bangka Regency. This research was conducted on April 28 - May 28 2022 in the waters of Sadai Village, South Bangka Regency. The methodused is an experimental method using a randomized block design (RBD) and Duncan's further test. The data collected includes the type of catch, the total weight of the catch, the number of catches, and environmental parameters. The results showed that the treatment of different light colors affected the number (fish) and weight (kg) of the catches on the Bagan tancap. The composition of the catch on the Bagan tancap for the species caught is squid (Loligosp) and Curvespine cuttlefish (Sepia recurvirostra) which are the main catch (HTU) while Starry triggerfish (Abalistes stellaris), mackerel (Rastrelliger brachysoma), Yellowtail scad (Atule mate), and Doublewhip threadfin bream (Nemipterus nematophorus) are by-catch. Based on the results, it can be concluded that blue light is a good color for catches in the form of number (fish) and weight (kg) on the Bagan tancap fishing gear

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu penangkapan yang berbeda dengan alat tangkap bubu kawat terhadap hasil tangkapan lele limbat di kanal PT. Makin Group Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Materi penelitian ini adalah Lele Limbat yang di peroleh dari hasil tangkapan bubu kawat dan umpan buah kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 15 Maret sampai 15 April 2022 di Kanal Perkebunan PT. Makin Group Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat Metode yang digunakan adalah experimental fishing. Waktu penangkapan dilakukan pada siang dan malam dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui  pada waktu penangkapan mana yang lebih selektif dalam menangkap ikan lele limbat. Data yang dihimpun meliputi parameter lingkungan, jumlah total hasil tangkapan, berat total hasil tangkapan. Uji beda rata-rata digunakan untuk mengetahui suhu permukaan air selama penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis deskriptif uji Independent sampel t-test. Hasil penelitian menujukkan jumlah total hasil tangkapan pada malam hari adalah 304 ekor ikan lele limbat (Clarias nieuhofii), sedangkan jumlah total hasil tangkapan pada waktu siang hari adalah 82 ekor ikan lele limbat (Clarias nieuhofii). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa jumlah total hasil tangkapan pada malam hari lebih banyak dari pada siang hari

Abstract

Ikan tenggiri merupakan salah satu sumberdaya ikan yang mempunyai potensi dan nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi, sehingga ikan ini menjadi salah satu hasil tangkapan utama di perairan Samudera Belawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis CPUE ikan Tenggiri dan menganalisis potensi lestari di PPS Samudera Belawan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada  April s/d Mei 2022 di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan Kecamatan Medan Belawan, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi CPUE dan MSY. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa tren CPUE selama periode tahun 2012-2021 mengalami fluktuasi dengan kisaran antara 1.079 – 4.636 ton/tahun. Potensi lestari (Maximum Sustainable Yield) ikan tenggiri (Scomberomorus sp) di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan adalah sebesar 1211.163843 ton/tahun, sedangkan Effort optimum (fopt) sebesar 590.8274348 trip/tahun. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa potensi lestari ikan tenggiri di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudra Belawan pada tahun 2017 mengalami overfishing, sedangkan pada tahun 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 dan 2021 mengalami undefishing.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Ikan senangin adalah salah satu ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Ikan ini biasa ditangkap oleh nelayan Kelurahan Kampung Laut menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet. Jumlah, berat dan ukuran panjang rata-rata ikan Senangin yang tertangkap bergantung pada ukuran mata jaring dan panjang jaring yang digunakan oleh nelayan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil tanggkapan ikan senangin menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet dengan perbedaan ukuran mata jaring 2 inchi dan 3 inchi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 mei sampai 11 juni 2022. Pengambilan sampel hasil tangkapan ikan senangin menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menggunakan 2 buah gillnet ukuran mata jaring 2 inchi dan 2 buah gillnet ukuran mata jaring 3 inchi selama 32 kali trip. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata berat total hasil tangkapan sedangkan jumlah dan panjang rata-rata hasil tangkapan ikan senangin berbeda.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah berat hasil tangkapan ikan senangin menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet antara mata jaring 2 inchi dan 3 inchi berbeda tidak nyata, sedangkan jumlah hasil tangkapan diperoleh oleh mata jaring 2 inchi dan panjang rata-rata hasil tangkapan diperoleh oleh mata jaring 3 inchiKata kunci: Gillnet, mata jaring, ikan Senangin.ABSTRACTEleutheronema tetradactylum one of the fish that has high economic value. This fish is usually caught by fishermen from Kampung Laut using gillnet fishing gear. The number, weight and average length of the Sukain fish caught depend on the size of the mesh and the length of the net used by the fisherman. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the results of the catch of thraedfin fishusing gillnet fishing gear with different mesh sizes of 2 inches and 3 inches. This research was carried out on May 9 to June 11, 2022. Sampling of the fish catches used purposive sampling method using 2 gillnets with a mesh size of 2 inches and 2 gillnets with a mesh size of 3 inches for 32 trips. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the total weight of the catch, while the number and average length of the catch of thraedfin fishwere different. The conclusion of this study is that the weight of the fish caught using gillnets between 2 inch and 3 inch nets is not significantly different, while the number of catches obtained by 2 inch nets and the average length of the catch is obtained by 3 inch nets.Key word: Gillnet, Mesh size, Eleutheronema tetradactylum

Abstract

Penangkapan menggunakan alat tangkap bubu diperlukan umpan dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil tangkapan secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian untuk mempelajari penggunaan umpan yang paling efektif digunakan nelayan untuk melakukan penangkapan lobster air tawar di Danau Maninjau Sumatera Barat. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 Mei sampai dengan 21 Mei 2023 dengan metode Experimental Fishing dan perlakuan umpan TU = tanpa umpan, KM = keong mas, IN = ikan nila, KP = kerang pensi. Pada 2 nelayan menggunakan 20 alat tangkap bubu dengan pengulangan 10 kali penangkapan. Data yang dihimpun meliputi jumlah, berat, panjang serta parameter lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), jika berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan jenis umpan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap jumlah (ekor), berat (gr), dan panjang (cm) lobster air tawar. Hasil tangkapan lobster air tawar menggunakan tanpa umpan sebanyak 3 ekor dengan berat 58 gr, kemudian dengan umpan keong mas sebanyak 56 ekor dengan berat 1802 gr, selanjutnya menggunakan umpan bangkai ikan nila 47 ekor dengan berat 1674 gr, dan umpan kerang pensi mendapatkan 7 ekor dengan berat 242 gr. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan umpan keong mas dengan menggunakan alat tangkap bubu akan menghasilkan tangkapan lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus) lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan umpan ikan nila dan kerang pensi.   Catching using trap gear requires bait in an effort to increase the catch optimally. The purpose of the research was to study the use of the most effective bait used by fishermen to catch crayfish in Lake Maninjau, West Sumatra. The research was conducted on May 1 to May 21, 2023 with Experimental Fishing method and bait treatment TU = without bait, KM = gold snail, IN = tilapia, KP = pensi shell. In 2 fishermen using 20 bubu fishing gear with repetition of 10 times fishing. Data collected included number, weight, length and environmental parameters. This study uses a Randomized Group Design (RAK), if it has a real effect, it is continued with the Duncan test. The results showed that different types of bait had a very significant effect (P < 0.01) on the number (tails), weight (gr), and length (cm) of crayfish. The catch of crayfish using no bait is 3 tails weighing 58 gr, then with gold snail bait as many as 56 tails weighing 1802 gr, then using tilapia carcass bait 47 tails weighing 1674 gr, and pensi shell bait gets 7 tails weighing 242 gr. The conclusion of this study is that the use of gold snail bait using bubu fishing gear will produce more crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) catches compared to tilapia bait and pensi shells.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Kampung Nelayan Village, Tungkal Ilir Sub-district for mantis shrimp marketing institutions from April to June 21021. The purpose of this study was to analyze margins and marketing efficiency of mantis shrimp catches in Kampung Nelayan Village. The data collected in the form of primary data and secondary data with survey methods is then analyzed descriptively with quantitative methods. The results showed that there are 2 marketing channels for mantis shrimp in Kampung Nelayan Village, namely marketing channel I from fishermen to intermediary traders and then to agent traders. From fishermen to agent traders. Marketing channel I total margin of Rp. 35.796/head and marketing efficiency of 8,59% (inefficient). Marketing channel II total margin Rp. 32.088/head and marketing efficiency of 9,34% (inefficient).
