Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the role of integrating Islamic values and digital marketing strategies in enhancing Muslim consumers' purchase intention for halal-certified MSME products in Aceh and its impact on preserving local wisdom. Using a quantitative approach, the research employs an explanatory design, collecting data from 215 respondents through purposive sampling. Primary data is obtained through questionnaires, supported by secondary data for contextual analysis. The findings reveal that the application of Islamic values plays a fundamental role in shaping consumer purchase intentions, emphasizing the importance of ethical principles in influencing purchasing behavior. Digital marketing strategies also positively contribute to consumer interest, though their influence is smaller compared to Islamic values. Additionally, the study highlights a strong relationship between consumer purchase intentions and the preservation of local wisdom in Aceh. It underscores the importance of a balanced approach that integrates value-based strategies with digital promotion to maximize consumer interest while preserving local traditions. The research advocates for holistic marketing strategies that align with Islamic principles and cultural preservation efforts, enabling MSMEs to thrive and sustain Aceh’s heritage in the era of globalization.

Abstract

The osteoporosis caused by thalassemia provides a complex challenge as they have a number of fractures, which makes rehabilitation more complicated in terms of mobilization and safety aspects. This is a case report of the management of a patient with multiple fractures and osteoporosis due to thalassemia using comprehensive rehabilitation to prove that multidisciplinary teamwork can help such difficult cases. Multiple fractures in patients with pre-existing conditions, such as thalassemia-induced osteoporosis, are a challenge for the medical field. A 26-year-old man with beta-thalassemia major and osteoporosis experienced wrist, hip, and unstable spine fractures after falling. After doing a closed reduction of arm and femur screw fixation, he was presented with pain, limited range of motion at both surgical sites, inability to perform any ADL, and unable to work. Multi-disciplinary case management with internist, orthopedist, and physiatrist. The treatment methods were pharmacological treatment, internal fixation, cast, orthosis, walking aids, exercise, and fall prevention strategies. The team managed the multiple fractures, pain, instability, and mobility issues. Internal fixation, arm box immobilization, orthotics, and ambulation aids are valid treatment options. The exercise and fall prevention strategies were established to increase the patient’s Quality of Life (QoL). The integrated rehabilitation program implemented used crutches as the main mobility aid to obtain better support, weight distribution, fall prevention, mobilize safely, and use crutches to improve functional independence. This event emphasizes the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach in managing a patient with multiple fractures with already a background of osteoporosis due to thalassemia. Our specialized rehabilitation program’s selection and adaptation to the patient's needs play a significant role in determining successful outcomes and considerable quality of life improvement.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Religious Moderation Village (KMB) policy in Southeast Sulawesi Province as a response to digital disruption that threatens credible religious authority and trigger identity polarization. Amidst the contestation of digital spaces dominated by exclusive narratives and provocative hoaxes, the role of Islamic Religious Counselors is crucial as information mediators and agents of moderation. The main focus of this study is to evaluate the impact of the KMB policy in creating peaceful conditions and how the transmission of moderation values is carried out in digital and non-digital contexts. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative with a policy study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Counselors and community leaders in the KMB area, participant observation of counseling activities, and content analysis on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok) to measure the effectiveness of counter-narratives against extremist ideologies. The analytical framework uses Heidi Campbell's Religious-Social Shaping of Technology theory to dissect the shift in religious authority in the digital era. The research findings show that the establishment of the KMB in Southeast Sulawesi significantly strengthened social capital and the resilience of rural communities to asymmetric information. Religious instructors play a strategic role in enhancing the community's digital literacy to filter out misleading "buffet of religious narratives." This study recommends strengthening digital literacy for instructors to enable them to seize the digital stage through inclusive and tolerant narratives. Integrating Southeast Sulawesi's local wisdom with digital transformation is key to successfully creating a moderate, stable, and harmonious religious ecosystem at the grassroots level.

Abstract

This study aims to measure and analyze the level of disproporsionality between the votes obtained by political parties and the number of seats they receive in the 2024 legislative election ini Banggai Regency. It also seeks to assess the effectiveness of the Sainte-Lague method ini achieving proportional representation and identify factors contributing to the level of disproporsionality found in the legislative election in Bangggai Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach to analyze the election results data from the 2024 legislative election in Banggai Regency. The quantitative analysis will be conducted using the Least Squares Index (LSq) or Gallagher Index to determine the level of disproporsionality between the percentage of votes obtained by political parties and the percentage of seats they receive in the legislative council. The findings in this study show the the Gallagher Index at the electoral district level show significant disproporsionality. However, whwn calculated for the overall seats in the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), this index is relatively small. In the electoral district of Banggai Regency, the Gallagher Index results indicate an average above 8 or within the range of 5-10. This suggest that the LSq/Gallagher Index interpretation of the electoral system in Banggai Regency demonstrates moderate disproporsionality. There is a significant diffrence between the percentage of votes and seats, some parties receive more or fewer seats compared to the percentage of votes the obtain, which can lead to dissatisfaction among voters.
