Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of sentencing decisions for children from the perspective of restorative justice and rehabilitation in the juvenile justice system in Indonesia. Children in conflict with the law require special protection because they are still developing psychologically and socially, so the sentencing process is not only oriented towards punishment, but also towards recovery and guidance. This study uses a normative juridical method with a statutory regulatory approach and a conceptual approach referring to Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. The results show that sentencing decisions for children have a significant impact on the psychological, social, and future conditions of children. The application of restorative justice principles through diversion and rehabilitation is considered more effective in encouraging child recovery, improving social relationships, and reducing the likelihood of recurrence of criminal acts. However, the implementation of restorative justice still faces various obstacles, such as a lack of understanding among law enforcement officials, limited rehabilitation facilities, and minimal post-sentencing supervision. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen coordination between institutions, improve the quality of guidance, and optimize the rehabilitative approach so that the juvenile criminal justice system can provide protection and best interests for children.

Abstract

Indonesia consists of various tribes, races, ethnicities and religions. In this diversity, multicultural education is needed to be implemented in people's lives. To be able to tolerate each other, take responsibility and to be able to help each other among others. Not to hate each other or complain to each other. Religion is expected to be a complement and can also complement each other so that it can become strong and also close. Circumstances like this can shape the character of the Indonesian nation to be more formed. As Indonesian people, we should be able to take care of each other so that there are no disputes that can lead to conflict.

Abstract

The development of an Arabic language environment in Islamic higher education plays an important role in strengthening the communicative competence of students in Arabic Language Education programs. Formal classroom instruction alone does not fully provide sustained opportunities for language use; therefore, habituation needs to be integrated into students’ academic and social lives. This study aims to analyze the implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate a model for developing an Arabic language environment based on habituation at STIT Riyadhussholihiin. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving institutional leaders, program administrators, lecturers, dormitory supervisors, and students. The data were analyzed using an interactive model involving data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the development of the Arabic language environment occurs gradually through students’ initial language preparation, the use of Arabic in classroom instruction, residential life, supervision by dormitory supervisors, lecturers’ role modeling, and language-strengthening activities such as ilqāʾ al-kalimah, munaqasyah, and the Translation Student Activity Unit. This development is supported by institutional commitment and a conducive academic environment but remains constrained by differences in students’ initial proficiency, limited vocabulary, low self-confidence, and the absence of fully integrated policies and evaluation mechanisms. The study proposes an Arabic language environment model as a habituation ecosystem that may serve as a reference for the gradual and sustainable development of Arabic-speaking academic cultures in Islamic higher education.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Knowledge Management Capability and Organizational Learning on Innovation Performance through the mediating role of Knowledge Sharing in knowledge-based companies. A quantitative approach was employed involving 250 employees selected using purposive sampling based on their involvement in information sharing and organizational innovation activities. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that Knowledge Management Capability and Organizational Learning have positive and significant effects on Knowledge Sharing and Innovation Performance. Knowledge Sharing also has a positive and significant effect on Innovation Performance. Furthermore, the mediation analysis confirms that Knowledge Sharing partially mediates the relationships between Knowledge Management Capability and Innovation Performance and between Organizational Learning and Innovation Performance. These findings demonstrate that innovation in knowledge-based companies depends not only on organizational knowledge and learning capabilities but also on the effective exchange of knowledge among employees. The study highlights the importance of integrating knowledge management systems, continuous organizational learning, and collaborative knowledge-sharing practices to strengthen sustainable innovation performance.
