Abstract

This study investigates the use of clustering techniques to improve students' writing skills in composing descriptive texts. This study used Classroom Action Search (CAR) as the research method. This study consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps: Planing, Action, Observation, and Reflection. The researchers conducted this study over almost a month, as each  cycle was conducted in three sessions. To collect and analyze the data, the study used information from interviews, observations, questionnaires, and  students' pre-test and post-test performance to corroborate the data collected. The results of this study indicate that using clustering techniques in teaching descriptive writing can improve students' writing skills. The students' responses showed that they were interested in learning the subject of writing  because they found it easy to write using this technique. Additionally, students' ability on  pre-test and post-test showed  significant improvement. Therefore, the average value for pre-test was 37.30. In the first cycle, the average was 71.60. On the other hand, the average for the second cycle was 80.45. This means that there was an average improvement of 34.30 points or 91.96%  from the student's score from pre-study to the first cycle, and an improvement of 43.14 points or 115.66% in the average score compared to the student's score from pre-study to the second cycle. Based on the this result, the study concluded that teaching descriptive English writing to the 10th grade of SMKN 3 Mataram students using clustering techniques can improve their writing ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of business development business at CV Yeyen Catering. This study uses 7 main aspects that are used in analyzing business feasibility and the results show that all of these aspects indicate this business development plan in terms of legal, market and marketing, financial, technical and operational, management, social and economic aspects, as well as environmental impact aspects. . The research method used in this study is qualitative and quantitative with data collection techniques field observations, interviews, and literature review. The results of the research show that the feasibility of this company is quite good and feasible to be developed.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem imun merupakan hal yang penting untuk melawan infeksi Virus. Di Indonesia banyak sekali tumbuhan yang mungkin memiliki efek imunostimulan bagi tubuh, salah satunya yaitu tumbuhan sungkai.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah infusa daun sungkai memiliki septa.pratama@gmail.com  aktifitas untuk meningkatkan leukosit pada mencit. 25 ekor mencit dibagi kedalam 5 kelompok. Kelompok 1 diberikan larutan NaCMC 1% sebagai kontrol negatif, Kelompok 2 diberikan suspensi stimuno dengan dosis 0.19mg/30 gBBmencit, Kelompok 3 diberikan infusa daun sungkai dengan konsentrasi 5%, Kelompok 4 diberikan infusa daun sungkai dengan konsentrasi 15%, Kelompok 5 diberikan infusa daun sungkai dengan konsentrasi 20%. Masing-masing Kelompok di beri perlakuan selama 7 hari dengan dosis 1xsehari. Parameter yang di ukur yaitu jumlah leukosit mencit  dan hasilnya di analisis menggunakan one way Anova dan uji lanjutan Bafferoni. Hasil yang diperoleh, infusa mengandung metabolit skunder Tanin, Fenol, Flavonoid, Terpenoid, Saponin, dan Alkaloid. Dari hasil Analisis Statistik di dapati perbedaan yang signifikan untuk kelima kelompok dengan p<0.05. Setelalah dilakukan uji lanjutan Bafferoni didapatkan bahwa terjadi perbedaan signifikan dengan p<0,05 untuk kelompok kontrol positif, infusa 15%, dan infusa 20% dibandingkan dengan kontrol negatif. Kemudian dibandingkan dengan kontrol positif hanya infusa 20% yang berbeda signifikan p<0.05 lebih banyak menghasilkan leukosit. Kesimpulannya, Infusa daun sungkai memiliki aktifitas sebagai imunostimulan Kata Kunci : Daun Sungkai, Imunomodulator, Infusa, covid-19

Abstract

Background: Instilling Islamic religious values to students is not only a process of transfer of knowledge but also a process of transfer of value. In this process, the one who plays an active role in carrying out learning activities is a teacher. For this reason, teachers are required to have good competence and ability in teaching so that they can carry out their roles optimally. In this regard, teacher competencies that are directly related to the learning process are pedagogical competence and professional competence. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine how much contribution the pedagogical and professional competence of ISMUBA teachers has in influencing the instillation of Islamic religious values in students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Mujahidin Gunungkidul. Design/methods/approach: The type of research conducted by the author is field research with a quantitative approach method based on post-positivistic philosophy. The population of the study used were 95 students of class VIII of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Mujahidin Gunungkidul. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. While the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis . Findings: The results of the study indicate that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, both partially (alone) and simultaneously (together). The results of the first test obtained a sig. value of 0.047 <0.05 and a t-count value of 2.011> t-table 1.989. This indicates that Ha1 is accepted; there is an influence of ISMUBA teacher pedagogical competence on the instillation of Islamic religious values in students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Mujahidin Gunungkidul. The results of the second test obtained a sig. value of 0.033 <0.05 and a t-count value of 2.161> t-table 1.989. These results indicate that Ha2 is accepted; there is an influence of ISMUBA teacher professional competence on the instillation of Islamic religious values in students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Mujahidin Gunungkidul. The results of the third test obtained a sig. value of 0.000 <0.05 and an F-count value of 12.937> F-table 3.09. These results indicate that Ha3 is accepted; there is an influence of the pedagogical and professional competence of ISMUBA teachers on the instillation of Islamic religious values in students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Mujahidin Gunungkidul. The coefficient of determination R = 0.220 = 22%. These results indicate that the independent variables, namely pedagogical competence and professional competence of ISMUBA teachers, together influence the dependent variable, namely the instillation of Islamic religious values in students by 22%. Research implications/limitations: This study can generally provide an overview of teacher competence in pedagogical and professional aspects. More specifically, this study can be a simple reference in research on Ismuba in Muhammadiyah schools at the junior high school level. Originality/value: this study is the result obtained from field research and has a novel value in the context of competence for Ismuba teachers at the junior high school level. Further research can develop more widely both in terms of methodology, subjects and scope of the research area

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus demam berdarah dan ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Di Indonesia, DBD menjadi salah satu ancaman kesehatan yang signifikan, terutama di musim hujan ketika populasi nyamuk meningkat. Meningkatkan kesadaran pencegahan DBD sejak dini, terutama pada anak-anak, adalah langkah yang sangat penting untuk mengurangi angka kejadian penyakit ini. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya sosialisasi tentang pencegahan DBD kepada anak-anak melalui berbagai metode edukasi yang menarik dan interaktif, serta dampaknya dalam menciptakan perilaku hidup sehat di kalangan generasi.

Abstract

Scouting, which means Young Praja, is a non-formal education movement that aims to develop various aspects of personality, physical, mental, social and spiritual.  Forming student character is the main goal of Indonesian national education. Character education can be implemented through various activities, one of which is through extracurricular activities, where Scouts play an important role in educating the younger generation with the values ​​of honesty, discipline, cooperation, responsibility and leadership. At MIS Fathul Iman, mentoring by IAIN Palangka Raya students in Scouting activities aims to strengthen students' understanding of these values. This research uses qualitative data methods obtained through observation and documentation. The results show that Scout activities, through activities such as making group chants, encourage students to cooperate, discipline, responsibility and creativity, as well as increase their self-confidence but also build solidarity and a sense of togetherness. It is hoped that this research will provide insight into the development of more effective service programs in the context of character education in the future. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi panduan rekrutmen guru di SMP Swasta Tunas Bangsa dengan fokus pada mekanisme pelaksanaan, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas tenaga pendidik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, tim rekrutmen, guru, dan pejabat yayasan terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi panduan rekrutmen telah meningkatkan kualitas seleksi guru melalui tahapan sistematis, termasuk micro-teaching sebagai indikator utama kompetensi mengajar. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi kebijakan yayasan, dukungan finansial, dan sistem dokumentasi yang baik, sedangkan kendala yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan waktu dan sulitnya mendapatkan kandidat berkualitas dalam bidang tertentu. Implementasi panduan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan tingkat retensi guru serta efisiensi proses rekrutmen, dengan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa pengembangan instrumen penilaian lebih komprehensif dan integrasi teknologi dalam seleksi calon guru.

Abstract

Pengembangan karir dan peningkatan kompetensi guru berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan guru mengenai aspek tersebut. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan guru yang memiliki latar belakang pengalaman mengajar yang beragam. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa mayoritas guru memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pengembangan karir dan kompetensi mereka, khususnya dalam aspek pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Namun, masih terdapat kendala seperti terbatasnya akses terhadap pelatihan profesional serta minimnya dukungan institusional. Untuk meningkatkan persepsi guru, disarankan strategi yang berfokus pada pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, serta inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman kepada pemangku kebijakan dalam menyusun program yang lebih optimal untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dan mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

Warming up is an important component in every physical activity and sport that aims to prepare the body physiologically and psychologically before doing exercise or competition. Proper warming up can increase muscle temperature, increase flexibility, improve neuromuscular response, and reduce the risk of injury. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of warming up in improving athletic performance and preventing injury based on literature reviews and previous research. The method used in this study is a literature review of various studies related to warming up, including types of warming up (general and specific warming up), optimal duration, and its impact on performance and safety in sports. The results of the study showed that warming up that combines light aerobic activity, dynamic stretching, and sport-specific movements can increase blood flow to the muscles, increase energy production, and accelerate the activation of the nervous system. In addition, warming up also helps in the mental preparation of athletes before competing or training.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, technology plays a central role in shaping the future of education. This study explores the role of school principals as transformative leaders in promoting technology-based learning, particularly in the context of Indonesian schools. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with school principals, teachers, and education personnel from schools that have integrated technology into their teaching and learning processes. Secondary data were obtained from government policies, official school documents, and relevant literature. Thematic analysis was employed to identify key patterns related to leadership practices that support the adoption of educational technology. The findings reveal that effective principals act not only as visionaries and change agents but also as facilitators, mentors, and collaborators who foster inclusive and innovative school environments. They play a critical role in developing teachers’ digital competencies, ensuring adequate infrastructure, and building a positive digital culture. This study highlights the importance of strategic leadership in overcoming challenges such as limited resources and resistance to change. The results provide practical guidance for principals and policymakers to develop sustainable technology-based education programs and contribute to the global discourse on educational leadership in developing countries.
