Abstract

The Community Information Group (KIM) program is a strategic initiative by the Department of Communication and Information Technology of Merauke Regency to encourage active community participation in managing information and communication. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the KIM program's implementation, covering aspects of planning, execution, and its impact on the community. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and document studies. The evaluation results indicate that the KIM program has positively contributed to improving community information literacy, particularly in rural areas. However, several challenges were identified, such as limited human resources, uneven technological infrastructure, and low community participation in certain activities. Therefore, strategic measures are needed, including enhancing the capacity of KIM members, expanding access to information technology, and optimizing synergy between local government, local communities, and other stakeholders. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developing a more effective and sustainable KIM program in the future.

Abstract

Saat ini berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan khususnya dalam bidang teknologi material (bahan) untuk komponen campuran perkerasan jalan dengan pemanfaatan limbah. Pemanfaatan Limbah menjadi sangat penting untuk mencegah pengaruh buruk dari buangan limbah tersebut sehingga memiliki nilai manfaat. Disisi lain, pemanfaatan limbah mengurangi pemakaian material Alam yang semakin lama semakin menipis. Salah satu limbah buangan hasil Pengolahan Industri Pertambangan Nikel PT. Antam Tbk, Unit Bisnis Pertambangan Nikel (UBPN) Sulawesi Tenggara, yaitu Slag Nikel. Diharapkan limbah Slag Nikel mampu meningkatkan kinerja perkerasan jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi Slag Nikel pada campuran AC-WC terhadap sifat-sifat Marshall dan sifat mekanis campuran AC-WC dengan Slag Nikel pada pengujian Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS). Prosedur penelitian menggunakan metode Eksperimen. Pengujian dengan menggunakan alat uji Marshall dan Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kadar Slag Nikel yang memenuhi sifat-sifat Marshall adalah pada kadar Slag Nikel sebesar 10% dan hasil analisis Indirect Tensile Strength, didapatkan Kuat tarik tidak langsung maksimum ditunjukkan pada kadar Slag Nikel 10% sebesar 79.147,74 Kpa.

Abstract

Kelompok Informasi Masyarakat (KIM) serve as strategic partners of the government in disseminating information to the public, particularly in remote and rural areas. In the era of digital transformation, the role of KIM is increasingly crucial in promoting digital literacy to enhance access, understanding, and utilization of information technology among communities. This study aims to examine and optimize the role of KIM in improving digital literacy in Merauke Regency. A qualitative approach was employed, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis with several active KIM groups in Merauke. The results show that although KIM holds great potential as agents of digital literacy, limitations in human resource capacity, technological infrastructure, and lack of training are the main challenges. Therefore, optimizing the role of KIM requires regular training, cross-sector collaboration, and regulatory and budgetary support from the local government. Thus, KIM can become key drivers in building an inclusive and competitive digital society in Merauke.

Abstract

Telah ditentukan bahwa atlet sekolah menengah atas di SMA Budi Agung di Medan memiliki kemampuan lay-up yang buruk, yang mengarah pada pembuatan penelitian ini. Dihipotesiskan bahwa kurangnya kondisi fisik, yaitu kecepatan dan kekuatan eksplosif otot tungkai, merupakan akar penyebab gangguan ini. Dalam konteks bola basket, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kecepatan dan daya ledak otot tungkai berkontribusi terhadap kemampuan lay-up para pemain bola basket yang bersekolah di SMA Budi Agung Medan. Dalam melakukan penelitian, pendekatan korelasional dilakukan. Sampel diambil dari populasi yang terdiri dari dua puluh orang, yang semuanya adalah atlet dari SMA Budi Agung Medan. Pendekatan sampling lengkap digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sampel. Tes kecepatan dilakukan dengan berlari sejauh tiga puluh meter, tes kemampuan daya ledak otot tungkai dilakukan dengan melompat secara vertikal, dan tes keterampilan lay-up dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes lay-up. Semua tes ini digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Terdapat pengaruh yang cukup besar antara kecepatan dan daya ledak otot tungkai secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan lay-up pada atlet bola basket SMA Budi Agung Medan, sesuai dengan hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini. Pendekatan statistik regresi linier sederhana digunakan dalam proses metodologi analisis data. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kecepatan memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemampuan lay-up pada atlet bola basket sebesar 67,74%, daya ledak otot tungkai memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemampuan lay-up sebesar 33,23%, dan kecepatan serta daya ledak otot tungkai memberikan kontribusi secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan lay-up sebesar 61,34%. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas komunikasi lingkungan dan kesadaran hukum bagi Karang Taruna Meohai di Desa Roda, wilayah pesisir yang dikelilingi hutan mangrove seluas 85,34 hektare. Permasalahan mitra mencakup rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan, pemahaman hukum, dan akses teknologi ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam delapan pertemuan selama Juli 2025, meliputi penyuluhan, observasi, dan monitoring. Dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan evaluasi pre-test serta post-test, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman rata-rata sebesar 64%. Peningkatan tertinggi terdapat pada materi komunikasi lingkungan dan konservasi mangrove (66,7%). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan edukatif berbasis lokal efektif membentuk kesadaran ekologis dan pemahaman hukum masyarakat pesisir. Program ini dapat menjadi dasar pembentukan komunitas muda pesisir yang peduli lingkungan dan sadar hukum secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Audio-Visual media on student learning outcomes in the material of identifying story elements for class V children at Mannuruki State Elementary School. This research is a type of quantitative research using a Quasi Experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The samples studied were fifth grade students at Mannuruki State Elementary School, Tamalate District, Makassar City, namely in the experimental group there were 22 students learning using Audio-Visual media, and in the control group there were 18 students learning without using Audio-Visual media. The data collection instruments used in this research were written tests in the form of essays, initial tests (pretest) and final tests (posttest) to measure student learning outcomes before and after the application of Audio-Visual media and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis test and an inferential sample T test. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the average posttest score for the experimental group was 76.36 and the control group was 58.33. These findings are strengthened based on the results of hypothesis testing using the T-test showing that the condition for the results of t calculated > t table is 6.4839 > 2.0243 with the results of the hypothesis H1 being accepted. This proves that the use of Audio-Visual media has an effect on student learning outcomes in the material on identifying story elements for class V students at SD Negeri Mannuruki, Tamalate District, Makassar City.

Abstract

Providing services to the community is the main goal of a government agency. One of the services provided is creating E-KTP documents. E-KTP is an update of the conventional KTP which is considered less effective in providing data validity. This E-KTP document can only be owned by one person under one identity, therefore ownership of an E-KTP document is very important to support people's lives. The aim of this research is to find out how effective the implementation of population administration services is in order to increase ownership of E-KTP documents in Merauke District, Merauke Regency. This research uses Emitai Etzioni's effectiveness measurement theory which has four theories, namely: adaptation, integration, member motivation, and production and uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used in this research is by using field studies and literature studies. The results of the research show that the E-KTP service in Merauke District has been running effectively as indicated by the availability of adequate facilities and the existence of human resources who adapt quickly, however there are still several obstacles in its implementation, namely the failure to disseminate information to the community, limited availability of blanks and still poor employee attitude.

Abstract

Potensi limbah tanaman pangan seperti jerami padi dan jerami jagung di Desa Bongopini dan sekitarnya banyak tersedia pada waktu musim panen tiba. Tetapi peternak hanya memanfaatkan sebagian kecil limbah tersebut sebagai pakan ternak. Pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada peternak agar dapat mengolah jerami jagung dan jerami padi menjadi pakan dalam bentuk silase dan jerami padi fermentasi. Sehingga peternak dapat memaksimalkan pemanfaatan limbah tanaman pangan sebagai pakan ternak serta tidak mengalami kendala penyediaan pakan hijauan pada saat musim kemarau. Pelatihan menggunakan metode partisipatif dengan 50% teori dan 50% praktek aplikatif. Materi yang disajikan dengan ceramah, diskusi dan praktek langsung di lokasi tempat pengabdian masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat memperlihatkan bahwa semua peternak merespon dengan baik pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini karena dapat menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam mengolah jerami jagung dan jerami padi menjadi pakan ternak yang murah, mudah didapat dan melimpah. Pengolahan pakan dengan cara silase dan fermentasi jerami padi dapat meningkatkan nilai nutrisi dan palatabilitas pakan serta dapat mengatasi kekurangan pakan hijauan pada musim kemarau. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini peternak di Desa Bongopini dapat membuat silase dan jerami padi fermentasi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan limbah tanaman pangan sebagai pakan ternak.

Abstract

Hutabohu Village has the potential to support the development of beef cattle. One of the problems with beef cattle farming in Hutabohu Village is the accumulation of manure around the pen area. The solution to this problem is bokashi technology to reduce the impact of air pollution. The benefits of this service activity include increasing awareness and desire of village residents to use livestock manure to make bokashi, reducing the cost of purchasing chemical fertilizers, maximizing the integration of agriculture and livestock. The aim of this Community Service (PPM) activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of residents in Hutabohu Village in processing and utilizing beef cattle dung waste into organic fertilizer.  The location of this service is the Iloheluma livestock group in Hutabohu Village, West Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency. The duration of the activity is 2 months (April-May 2024). Providing theory by means of counseling and continuing with the practice of making bokashi with students participating in MBKM-KKN from UNG. The results of the implementation show that the stages of making bokashi in Hutabohu Village include preparing the ingredients (cow dung, EM-4, molasses, water, rice husk ash, rice bran), mixing all the ingredients, and incubation for 2 weeks. Indicators of the success of bokashi are that the color becomes blacker and resembles soil, does not clump when opened from the hand, does not smell like dirt, and there is no mold in the middle. The application of bokashi for plants is spread on the surface of agricultural land, given directly to the planting hole, mixed with soil in polyback. Participants' enthusiasm during the activity was quite high, reflected in their presence and active discussions until the end of the training. Conclusion: Making organic bokashi fertilizer can be an option for Hutabohu Village residents to be more efficient and effective in raising beef cattle.

Abstract

Critical Discourse Analysis in Educational Service Advertisements Study by Norman Fairclough. Thesis. This research aims to describe the linguistic features of critical discourse analysis in Educational Service Advertisements. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The qualitative descriptive method is research that produces data in the form of words or verbally. The focus of this research is critical discourse analysis at the level of analysis of educational service advertising texts which are studied using the Norman Fairclough model. The data in this research is written discourse in Educational Service Advertisements. The data collection techniques used are observation and note taking/recording. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that there are forms of AWK linguistic features in Educational Service Advertisements. The linguistic features are lexical processes, meaning relations, metaphors, euphemistic expressions, formal and informal words, positive and negative evaluation, nominalization, passification, use of positive and affirmative sentence forms, sentence modes, modality, text ordering, and control. participants. From data 1 to data 16 what was found were the linguistic features of lexical processes, meaning relations, positive sentence forms and participant affirmation and control.
