Abstract

Wilayah Papua Selatan mengalami dinamika sosial yang kompleks akibat interaksi antara masyarakat adat Papua dan pendatang dari wilayah lain di Indonesia. Konflik identitas yang terjadi tidak hanya berkaitan dengan perbedaan budaya dan agama, tetapi juga menyangkut ketimpangan ekonomi, marginalisasi politik, dan pembangunan yang belum merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor- faktor yang memicu konflik identitas dan menilai upaya integrasi sosial yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat sipil. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dan wawancara sekunder, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa konflik identitas di Papua Selatan bersifat struktural dan historis, serta membutuhkan pendekatan interkultural yang berkelanjutan untuk menciptakan integrasi sosial yang inklusif.

Abstract

Perubahan struktur demografis Indonesia yang menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah lansia membawa implikasi penting bagi kesehatan publik, khususnya terkait penurunan fungsi kardiovaskular akibat proses penuaan. Di Desa Pardugul, sebagian besar lansia cenderung menjalani aktivitas fisik minimal dan belum memahami bentuk latihan yang aman bagi jantung, serta prosedur pemanasan dan pendinginan yang benar. Kondisi ini menegaskan kebutuhan terhadap intervensi berbasis edukasi kesehatan melalui aktivitas fisik terstruktur. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan literasi kesehatan jantung, kemampuan melakukan senam jantung sehat secara mandiri, dan pembentukan kebiasaan olahraga berkelanjutan pada lansia. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui tahapan observasi awal, edukasi teoritis, demonstrasi gerak, pendampingan teknis, evaluasi efektivitas, dan program keberlanjutan. Responden terdiri dari 25 lansia dengan pemantauan melalui observasi fisiologis sederhana dan pengukuran keterlibatan aktivitas. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman manfaat aktivitas fisik bagi kesehatan jantung (88%), kemampuan mengikuti gerakan senam secara mandiri (81%), dan tingkat kehadiran kegiatan (85%). Selain itu, 67% lansia menyatakan kesiapan membentuk kelompok senam mandiri sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan praktik sehat. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa program ini efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan dan keterampilan fisik lansia, serta berpotensi menjadi model intervensi kesehatan preventif berbasis komunitas di desa. Pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif dalam kegiatan ini menjadi kontribusi orisinal yang relevan untuk dikembangkan dalam skala wilayah yang lebih luas sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan kualitas hidup lansia

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of reading literacy strategies in Indonesian learning and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its application in grade X students of SMA Negeri 13 Jeneponto Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research subjects consisted of class X Indonesian teachers and class X students who were selected purposively. Data were collected through observation techniques, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive analysis model which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study showed that the reading literacy strategy was implemented through reading activities 15 minutes before learning, the use of diverse and contextual texts, discussions on reading comprehension, and reflective assignments. The implementation of this strategy encourages increased student participation, the ability to understand the content of reading, and a positive attitude towards reading activities. Supporting factors for the implementation of the reading literacy strategy include teacher commitment, support for school literacy programs, and the availability of reading materials, while inhibiting factors include the low interest in reading of some students, limited learning time, and the influence of gadget use that has not been optimally controlled. This study concludes that reading literacy strategies have an important role in supporting Indonesian learning and need to be implemented sustainably with the support of various parties.

Abstract

This study examines how consumer sustainability expectations influence green marketing practices and how these practicesstimulate sustainable business model innovation in Muslimah fashion businesses in Indonesia. Using data from 212 owners and senior managers, analysed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling, the findings show that sustainability-aware consumers strongly motivate firms to adopt credible green marketing strategies. These strategies then serve as a major driver of sustainability-oriented business model innovation. The results also demonstrate that sustainable business model innovationsignificantly enhances environmental performance, operational resilience, and brand credibility. The study contributes to sustainable fashion scholarship by integrating consumer expectations, marketing practices, and organisational transformation in a culturally specific context where ethical and religious values shape business behaviour. Practical implications highlight the importance of aligning sustainability communication with genuine operational changes to achieve strategic and performance benefits.

Abstract

Waqf has a strategic role in the economic empowerment of Muslims through innovative and productive utilization. However, public understanding and literacy about waqf is still relatively low. This community service programmed aims to increase waqf awareness and literacy through the Indonesian Waqf Awareness Movement (GISWAF) activities implemented at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) Female Campus. The implementation method involves a participatory approach consisting of education, case study discussion, practical training, and pre-test and post-test evaluation. The programmed was designed to determine the extent of understanding and awareness of waqf after the counselling. The pre-test and post-test results of the 150 Gontor teacher participants showed that the Gontor teachers' understanding and awareness of productive waqf and some of its schemes were not very deep. It can be seen from the percentage of answers 54% correct and 46% incorrect, which is still dominated by incorrect answers. Meanwhile, the post-test has shown a significant difference, which is dominated by correct answers with a percentage of 87% correct and 13% incorrect answers. Thus, it is clear that the impact of the counselling has changed for now, but there needs to be development and sustainability so that the understanding gained by Gontor teachers can be maximized. Participants also demonstrated the ability to design and manage productive waqf projects in the education and economic sectors. However, challenges related to technical understanding and implementation remain, which require ongoing mentoring. Suggestions include the digitalization of training modules, strategic partnerships with waqf institutions, and the development of an online platform to expand the impact of the programmed. These efforts are expected to create waqf literacy agents that contribute to the welfare of the ummah.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mitra usaha furniture rotan dalam aspek manajemen produksi, komunikasi pemasaran, dan legalitas usaha. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra meliputi rendahnya pemahaman tentang sistem produksi yang efisien, minimnya pemanfaatan media digital untuk pemasaran, serta belum adanya legalitas formal dalam menjalankan usaha. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan berbasis partisipatif dan teknologi. Pelatihan difokuskan pada pengelolaan SDM, perencanaan bisnis, pemasaran digital, serta proses perizinan melalui OSS. Hasil uji pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra, masing-masing sebesar 19% pada aspek manajemen produksi, 15% pada komunikasi pemasaran, dan 13% pada legalitas usaha. Selain itu, mitra mulai mampu mengimplementasikan teknologi produksi dan strategi pemasaran digital secara mandiri. Program ini menunjukkan efektivitas pendekatan yang digunakan serta potensi untuk direplikasi pada komunitas usaha serupa dalam rangka penguatan ekonomi lokal berbasis potensi rotan.

Abstract

Classical Islamic sciences face global challenges in maintaining their relevance and epistemological authority amidst the development of modern scientific methodologies that emphasize historical criticism, interdisciplinary analysis, and responsiveness to contemporary issues. This article argues that apologetic or defensive approaches are no longer adequate, and that constructive criticism based on contemporary scientific frameworks is an intellectual necessity. The research objectives are threefold: 1) to map the points of dialogue and tension between classical epistemology and modern methods; 2) to offer constructive criticism to strengthen the validity of these sciences; and 3) to propose an integrative framework for responsible revitalization. To achieve these goals, this study employs a qualitative-interdisciplinary method through a systematic critical-analytical literature study, involving internal textual analysis, critical dialogue with hermeneutics, sociology of knowledge, and applied ethics, as well as normative synthesis. The results map the key dialectics and propose a model of "Revitalized Naql-'Aql-Maqashid Epistemology," where textual authority is creatively dialogued with enriched critical reasoning and directed by the universal objectives of Sharia (Maqashid al-Shari'ah) as an integrative compass. The contribution of this research lies in a critical synthesis that avoids both fundamentalism and ungrounded liberalism. The primary limitation of this study is its conceptual and textual nature, thus requiring further testing and operationalization through empirical case studies and direct engagement with religious practitioner communities to test the application and impact of the proposed framework.

Indah Putri. 2026. Application of Problem-Based Learning Model to Improve Speaking Skills of Fifth Grade Students at Pattongko State Elementary School 39, Sinjai Regency. Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University Makassar. Supervisor I Andi Sukri Syamsuri and Supervisor II Syahruddin. This study was motivated by the low speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 39 Pattongko, Sinjai Regency, in Indonesian language learning. This condition was characterized by low student participation in learning activities, lack of courage in expressing opinions, and learning outcomes that did not meet the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). Therefore, this study aims to improve students' speaking skills through the application of the Problem-Based Learning model using the discussion method. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings with the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The research subjects are all 20 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 39 Pattongko, Sinjai Regency, consisting of 7 male students and 13 female students. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model can improve students' speaking skills. The assessment was based on five aspects, namely fluency, accuracy of word choice, sentence structure, intonation, and expression. The average score of students in cycle I was 67.65 and increased in cycle II to 84.43 with a percentage increase of 24.79%. These results met the learning achievement criteria (KKTP), which is ≥70. Thus, the application of the Problem-Based Learning model proved to be effective in improving the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 39 Pattongko, Sinjai Regency.

Abstract

The smash is a key attacking technique in badminton, heavily influenced by the athlete's biomechanical efficiency and physical fitness. However, at the youth level, club training programs are often fragmented and do not systematically integrate the development of explosive strength, core stability, and neuromuscular coordination. This study aims to analyze the impact of integrated physical conditioning training on improving biomechanical parameters and smash effectiveness in youth badminton athletes at a Makassar City club. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The sample size was 60 athletes (30 experimental and 30 control). The intervention was conducted for 8 weeks, administered three times per week. The variables measured included trunk rotation, shoulder angular velocity, racket head velocity, shuttlecock speed, smash accuracy, vertical jump, core stability, and agility. Data were analyzed using t-tests and effect size (Cohen's d) at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed significant improvements in the experimental group: trunk rotation (+17.7%), shoulder angular velocity (+17.0%), racket-head velocity (+18.5%), shuttlecock speed (+14.4%), and smash accuracy (+36.5%) (p < 0.05; large effect size). There was a strong correlation between increases in vertical jump and racket-head velocity (r = 0.72). It was concluded that integrated physical conditioning training effectively improves biomechanical efficiency and smash performance in adolescent athletes and is recommended in evidence-based coaching models.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in fiqh learning for eleventh-grade students at MAN 1 Makassar City, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze strategies used by teachers to overcome learning obstacles. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving fiqh teachers, students, and school administrators. The results showed that teachers played multiple roles, including educators, instructors, motivators, facilitators, and role models. Supporting factors include structured curriculum, teacher competence, and religious school activities, while inhibiting factors involve limited learning facilities and diverse student abilities. Teachers addressed these challenges through adaptive teaching strategies, optimizing learning media, and improving classroom management. This study highlights the importance of maximizing teacher roles to improve students’ understanding and practice of Islamic teachings.
