Abstract

This study aims to find out if there is a relationship between the skills of asking teachers and the motivation of learning students of class V SDN 1 dasan New School Year 2021/2022. This research is quantitative research with correlational methods. The population in the study is students of class V SDN 1 Dasan Baru numbering 61 students. The sample used in this study was quota sampling so researchers used 30 students as research samples. The data collection technique in this study used questionnaires. The data is analyzed with the help of SPSS version 16. The description of the teacher's asking skills level and student learning motivation was analyzed using descriptive analysis, and for the hypothesis test the study was analyzed using the Perason Product Moment formula with the help of SPSS version 16. Rhitung value of 0.669 then large rtabel 0.361 in the level of significance of 5% which means there is a significant and positive relationship between the teacher's questioning skills and the motivation of learning students grade V. Based on the interpretation guidelines on the coefficient of Sugiyono (2018: 257) the rhitung value of 0.669 is at intervals 0.60-0779 shows a strong relationship.

Abstract

In implementing college courses that utilize blended learning, various challenges have emerged. Internet connectivity is identified as a key issue in online learning, according to research findings. Another study highlights evaluation of learning as a significant challenge for educators in higher education. Preliminary investigations show an increase in student cheating, particularly plagiarism, during online courses. This research aims to assess the readiness of FKIP University of Mataram students for blended learning courses. It is a quantitative study using a descriptive approach, where a learning readiness survey instrument with a scoring system is employed. Data are qualitatively analyzed across five key dimensions. The results indicate that students confidently use various platforms like Ms. Office and online course applications, have strong self-directed learning abilities, good learner control, are self-motivated, and can communicate effectively online. Based on these findings, the study concludes that students at the University of Mataram are well-prepared for blended learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk mendampingi guru dalam menyusun modul ajar. Hal ini guna untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogic guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai pengajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN 8 Cakranegara dan diikuti oleh 15 peserta yaitu guru dan kepala sekolah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga tahap kegiatan yang meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian diketahui bahwa semua peserta kegiatan jalannya kegiatan dengan antusias. Semua peserta dapat menyusun modul ajar dengan baik hal ini diketahui dari hasil modul ajar yang dikumpulkan oleh peserta.

Abstract

Masa depan bangsa berasal dari pendidikan sehingga dapat dijadikan landasan yang kuat, yang dapat membangun anak bangsa sesuai dari potensi yang dimlikinya masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) berbasis kelas tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penilitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Telaga Baru, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan berupa data kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) berbasis kelas telah berjalan dengan baik dengan indikator (1) Pengintegrasian PPK dalam kurikulum (2) PPK melalui manajemen kelas (3) PPK melalui pemilihan dan penggunaan metode pembelajaran (4) PPK melalui pembelajaran tematis (5) PPK melalui gerakan literasi (6) PPK melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Indikator tersebut dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas, kegiatan literasi dan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler dengan mengintgrasikan nilai karakter religius, nasioanalisme, gotong-royong, integritas dan mandiri. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil penelitian implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) berbasis kelas dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai karakter religius, nasionalisme, gotong-royong, integritas dan mandiri melalui kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas dan ekstrakulikuler.

Abstract

Elementary school education has a very important role for the growth and development of students at the age of 7-12 years. Motoric development in students in elementary schools needs special attention and training to develop it to the fullest. Motor skills develop along with the maturity of nerves and muscles. Therefore every movement produced by students is the result of interaction patterns of various systems in the body that are controlled by the brain. This classroom action research aims to improve fine motor skills through activities (cutting, folding, pasting) in grade III students at SDN 08 Mataram. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and data collection. Data analysis uses percentage description. The results of this classroom action research showed that there was an increase in the fine motor development of class III students through activities (cutting, folding, pasting). This can be seen from the average proportion of the results of the fine motor skills of class III students before the action was 33%, cycle 1 was 49%, and cycle 2 was 63%. The increase in students' fine motor skills is due to factors from the teacher who provides stimulus or treatment to students to make a product by involving the flexibility of the fingers through activities. From this study it can be concluded that class III students at SDN 08 Mataram have experienced an increase in motor development.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' learning motivation using the quizizz paper mode game application in thematic learning theme 8 in class V at SDN 08 Mataram in the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research. Data collection methods use questionnaires, documentation and tests. The types of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data. The research subjects were class V students at SDN 08 Mataram with a total of 27 students. The general research results show an increase in the percentage of students' learning motivation, namely in the pre-cycle the percentage was 60% with the sufficient category (C), then in the first cycle it increased to 76% with the good category (B) and increased to 84% in the second cycle with the good category. (B) which means that the Quizizz paper mode game application is very effective for increasing learning motivation for class V students at SDN 08 Mataram for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Siswa yang memiliki rasa percaya diri yang tinggi lebih berpartisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan yakin akan kemampuannya. Namun berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara, rasa percaya diri siswa terlihat sangat rendah. Padahal sebelumnya guru telah mencoba menerapkan model dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini juga terlihat ketika melakukan presentasi, rata-rata siswa masih kurang percaya diri saat mempresentasikan hasil disukusinya dan saling lempar ketika menanggapi pertanyaan dari teman-temannya. Model pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah model PBL (Problem Based Learning), yaitu model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Skema Hopkins. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 6 Mataram. Tindakan yang dilakakukan adalah penerapan model PBL (Problem Based Learning) dan dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitaif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan pembahasan di atas, penerapan model PBL (Problem Based Learning) dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pada siklus 1 sebesar 43% dengan kategori sedang dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 78% dengan kategori tinggi atau meningkat sebesar 11%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of picture-assisted storytelling method on the speaking skills of third grade students of SDN 1 Sakra Selatan. This type of research is experimental research, with a Quasi-Experimental Design type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all third-grade students of SDN 1 Sakra Selatan. Sampling was carried out using the Census/ Total Sampling technique. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheets and performance test. Observation sheets are used to determine the implementation of learning with the storytelling method assisted by picture media, while performance tests are used to assess student’s speaking skills. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, the significance value or Sig (2-tailed) is 0,002, which means it is less than 0,05. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the picture-assisted storytelling method on the speaking skills of the third-grade students of SDN 1 Sakra Selatan.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are skills that students must have in learning mathematics. Initial observations showed that students still had difficulty in understanding the concept of solving fraction problems. The cause was learning that was still conventional and did not involve students actively. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning learning model on critical thinking skills in mathematics lessons. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). The sample consisted of 42 students, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument was a critical thinking ability test in the form of essay questions, which were given before and after treatment. In addition, observations were made to measure the implementation of the PBL model during the learning process. The results showed that the PBL model was effective in students' critical thinking skills. The average pre-test score in the experimental class was 60, while the control class was 62.5. After being given treatment, the post-test score of the experimental class became 85.4, while the control class was 74.2. The results of the sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 (p <0.05), there was a significant difference between the two groups. The n-gain test value reached 59.70%, which means that the PBL model on students' critical thinking is quite effective compared to the conventional model which is only 45.55%, which means it is less effective to apply. This model can be an alternative to innovative learning that is interactive and student-centered, so it is recommended to be applied in mathematics learning in elementary schools. ABSTRAKKemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan harus dimiliki siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep menyelesaikan soal pecahan. Penyebabnya adalah pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). Sampel terdiri dari 42 siswa, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam bentuk soal esai, yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Selain itu, observasi dilakukan untuk mengukur keterlaksanaan model PBL selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Rata-rata nilai pre-test pada kelas eksperimen 60, sedangkan kelas kontrol 62,5. Setelah diberikan perlakuan, nilai post-test kelas eksperimen menjadi 85,4, sementara kelas kontrol 74,2. Hasil uji-t sampel menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (p < 0,05),  terdapat perbedaan signifikan kedua kelompok. Nilai Uji n-gain mencapai 59,70% yang artiya model PBL pada berpikir kritis siswa cukup efektif dibandingkan model konvensional yang hanya 45,55% yang artinya kurang efektif untuk diterapkan. Model ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran inovatif yang interaktif dan berpusat pada siswa, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika disekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation among fourth-grade students at SDN Cluster I, Ampenan District, in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Instruments included self-concept and achievement motivation questionnaires, both of which were tested for validity and reliability. The study involved 120 students from four elementary schools. Data analysis was conducted using normality, linearity, and Pearson Product Moment correlation tests. The results indicate a significant and positive relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation, with a correlation coefficient of 0.705 and a contribution of 49.7%. This implies that the higher the students’ self-concept, the higher their achievement motivation.
