Abstract

Efforts to assist and improve the quality of data analysis in scientific publications for the academic community of Stikes Majapahit Mojokerto are held as an effort to increase the achievement of scientific publications in reputable publications which are very important to improve the accreditation status of universities. The purpose of this activity is to improve participants' understanding of the preparation of reputable scientific articles, participants' ability to model in SEM using AMOS, and the ability of the academic community to write and discuss the results of modeling analysis in scientific articles. This activity was carried out from April-June 2023 at Stikes Majapahit Mojokerto. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concepts of SEM and Multivariate, CFA and path analysis and scientific article management. This activity should be an annual event that can boost the achievement of scientific publications, especially in the health academic community. keywords: Mentoring, improvement, quality, analysis, publication.

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting in various regions of East Java, particularly in the Tuban Regency, necessitates targeted intervention. This study aimed to assess the incidence of stunting in Tuban Regency using diverse analytical methods. It utilizes geographic mapping to illustrate the spatial distribution of stunting rates, and histograms to represent the percentage of stunting across individual villages. Notably, Mander Village in Tambakboyo District exhibits the highest prevalence, with 43.59% of toddlers affected by stunting. In 2023, the average stunting rate across the Tuban Regency was 11.53% per village, with a median of 9.69%. Alarmingly, over half of the villages failed to meet the 2024 RPJMN target, and 112 of 328 communities (34.15%) reported stunting rates exceeding 14%. Furthermore, the analysis revealed a Moran's I value of 0.216 and a p-value of 0.001, indicating significant geographical clustering of stunting cases within the region. This suggests that the prevalence of stunted toddlers in each village is influenced by similar rates in neighboring communities, highlighting the importance of a collaborative approach in addressing this public health challenge.

Abstract

The Brigif retention pond not only serves to temporarily store rainwater for groundwater reserving but also reduces the risk of flooding in the Southern Jakarta area. Research was purposed to study two critical conditions of a dike made from clayey material from before to after water impounding stages correlating with its stability. The research will investigate pore-water pressure (u) parameter changes at any stage in both conditions. The parameter of (u) can be predicted (upre) using the laboratory consolidation or oedometer test and measured (uact) completely with hydrostatic pressure (u0) directly in the field. Actual measurements using a piezometer were also conducted on the body of the dike. The prediction analysis used the self-developed program and conventional geotechnical software. The critical peak depth of (u) was found at 3.0 to 4.0 m. The actual settlement potential values reached -0.10 to -1.42 m and matched the prediction result. Safety factor (SF) was around 2.0 to 4.0, or in stable condition. Research results found that the magnitude parameter of (u) could be influenced by groundwater flow and porosity or void ratio fluctuations. The consolidation process also would affect the physical soil pore, contributing to the change of (SF) the dike pond.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has drastically changed the world of schooling and digital innovation, especially for Generation Z. This community service program aims to improve digital literacy and creativity of students at SMA Negeri 1 Srengat through training in the use of AI, specifically the ChatGPT and Gemini applications. This program was implemented using interactive lecture methods, live demonstrations, and direct practice with digital devices. Evaluation was carried out using pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. The evaluation results showed a 65% increase in participants' understanding of the training material, while the questionnaire obtained an average score of 3.6 (agree category), indicating that the training was effective and relevant to students' needs. This activity succeeded in fostering critical thinking skills, creativity in using AI technology, and awareness of ethical digital practices in students. In addition, this training contributed to strengthening students, especially in the aspects of critical reasoning, creativity, and independence. Therefore, this AI training is a strategic initiative to prepare the younger generation to be technologically literate, innovative, and adaptive in the digital era.
