Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the student learning result on the subject mathematic, especially by implemented the KIT media on the learning process. The method used in this research was the class action research, where the subject of the research its self was the 25 students of grade VI Public Elementary School No.08 Bondau. The students were including 11 male students and 14 female students. The result of this research shown there was increasing in learning process by using KIT media over the subject mathematic. The class average grade in the first cycle was 66.30, and 83.90 in the second cycle. The increasing of student learning result from 1st cycle to 2nd cycle was 17.60. Abstract

AbstrakMaksud penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan hubungan antara identitas matematika dan penalaran matematis siswa dalam barisan dan deret disalah satu smk di Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode ex-post facto dan berbentuk penelitian korelasional yang dilakukan secara online. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X tahun pelajaran 2019/2010. Sedangkan sampelnya merupakan siswa kelas Teknik Permesinan (TP), Kimia Industri (KI), dan Analisis Pengujian Laboratorium (APL). Teknik pengukuran sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara identitas matematika dan penalaran matematis siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi identitas matematika siswa, maka semakin tinggi pula penalaran matematis siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis (KKM) mahasiswa melalui perkuliahan matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran Transactional Reading Strategy (TRS). Rancangan quasi-experimental digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan secara random assigment melibatkan kelas eksperiment dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa effect size model pembelajaran TRS dengan pengaturan kooperatif terhadap KKM mahasiswa tergolong tinggi dibandingkan dengan pengaturan klasikal.Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, transactional reading strategy, effect size

Abstract

Provinsi Lampung merupakan daerah penghasil biji kakao rakyat terbesar ketiga di Pulau Sumatera setelah Sumatera Barat dan Aceh dengan produksi dan produktivitas masing-masing sebanyak 22.067 ton dan 897 kg/ha pada tahun 2013. Hampir keseluruhan (94%) perkebunan kakao di daerah Lampung merupakan milik rakyat dan  berproduksi rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan interaksi klon dan dosis terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kakao. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sinar Dua, Kecamatan Way Ratai Pesawaran dan dilaksanakan bulan Desember 2018 sampai Mei 2019. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi yang terdiri dari dua faktor.  Faktor pertama klon kakao yang diletakkan pada Petak Utama, yaitu klon Sul 1, Sul 2, ICCRI 3, dan MCC 1. Faktor kedua dosis pupuk NPK yang diletakkan pada Anak Petak, yaitu 400, 800, dan 1200 g/pohon. Penelitian terdiri dari 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, diperoleh total 36 satuan percobaan. Homogenitas data di uji menggunakan uji barltlett kemudian dilanjutkan sidik ragam dan uji beda nyata terkecil pada taraf kepercayaan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan klon Sul1, ICCRI 3, dan MCC 1 memiliki pertumbuhan persen flush daun tertinggi. Klon MCC 1 memiliki hasil buah masak tertinggi, yaitu 4,33 buah/pohon. Dosis pupuk majemuk NPK 1200 g/pohon memiliki persen flus daun tertinggi, yaitu 62,5% dan 800 g/pohon memiliki hasil buah masak tertinggi 4,33 buah/pohon.  Klon Sul 1 dengan dosis pupuk majemuk NPK 800 g/pohon memiliki jumlah daun tertinggi mencapai 37,3 helai daun. Klon MCC 1 dengan dosis pupuk majemuk NPK 1200 g/pohon menghasilkan bobot biji kering per buah tertinggi mencapai 77,5 g/buah.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas kombinasi herbisida aminopiralid + glifosat terhadap pengendalian gulma pada lahan tanaman karet menghasilkan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di PTPN VII Unit Usaha Kedaton, Tanjung Agung, LampungSelatan dan Laboratorium Ilmu Gulma Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Lampung, Bandar lampung dari bulan Januari sampai April 2013. Penelitian terdiri atas 6 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan, menggunakan rancangan kelompok teracak sempurna.Perlakuan terdiri atas kombinasi aminopiralid + glifosat dengan dosis 12,75 g/ha + 360 g/ha, 17,00 g/ha + 480 g/ha, 21,25 g/ha + 600 g/ha, 25,50 g/ha + 720 g/ha, penyiangan mekanis, dan kontrol (tanpa penyiangan). Homogenitas ragam data diuji dengan uji Bartlett, aditivitas data diuji dengan uji Tukey, jika asumsi terpenuhi data dianalisis ragam, dan perbedaan nilai tengah perlakuan diuji dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kombinasiherbisida aminopiralid + glifosat efektif menekan pertumbuhan gulma total dan golongan rumput sampai 12 MSA, serta mampu menekan pertumbuhan gulma dominan Ottochloa nodosa pada 12 MSA dan Cyrtococcum acrescens pada 4 dan 8 MSA dan (2) Kombinasi herbisida aminopiralid + glifosat tidak efektif mengendalikan pertumbuhan gulma daun lebar dan gulma dominan Selaginella willdenowii.

Abstract

The objective of this research are to know the effect of blend of cattle manure, hull of rice, and soil as nursery medium and NPK fertilizer dosage on growth of physic nut seedling by grafting. The experiment has been conducted in Bandar Lampung from January to June 2008. Is a factorial experiment (3X4) with randomized completely block design, the first factors were nursery medium composition consisted of cattle manure, soil, and hull of rice, with volume ratio 3:1:1, 1:1:1, and 1:1:3. The second factors are NPK fertilizer dosage consisted of 0, 1, 3, and 5 g/seedling. The treatments were consisted 3 replication and each experiment unit consisted 10 seedlings. The results show that (1) blend of cattle manure, soil, and hull of rice with ratio 1:1:3 have sucsesful grafting persentage and dry weight of shoot higher than ratio 3:1:1 and 1:1:1, (2) NPK fertilizer dosage until 3 g/seedling unsignificant than control on root stock and entres diameter and dry wight of root and shoot; (3) There is no interaction beetwen seedling medium ratio and NPK fertilizer dosage to growth of physic nut seedling by grafting.Key words: grafting, nursery medium, NPK fertilizer, physic nut

Abstract

Students’ spatial skills in solving problems related to the arrangement of cubes were relatively low. This research was conducted to describe students' spatial skills regarding cube arrangement through problem-based clinical interviews. The design of this study was descriptive exploratory using one class of students as the research sample. Student tests were used to see students' initial abilities regarding cube arrangements. While problem-based clinical interviews were used to dig deeper into spatial skills and student problem solving regarding cube arrangements. The data obtained was processed using descriptive statistics such as average, cumulative frequency and percent score. Furthermore, the data was analyzed and interpreted using qualitative data analysis techniques to explain the phenomena that occur in the field. The results of the study show that the students' spatial skills regarding the cube were still relatively low; students' spatial skills were not in accordance with the concepts related to solving the problem of unit cube arrangements; students' spatial skills did not show skills related to solving problems in unit cube arrangements; to transform students' skills into spatial skills related to the problem of cube arrangement it is necessary to re-emphasize spatial skills which include spatial visual, spatial perception, spatial relations, and spatial orientation.Keywords: Spatial Ability, Problem Based Clinical Interview

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential description of quitter type students in solving an open-ended question in the material of Quadrilateral and Triangle at SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and a case study research form. The number of subjects in this study was 27 students of class VIII F SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. The data collection tool used was the Adversity Response Profile (ARP) to get quitter type subjects, open-ended test questions, and interview guides with the help of teaching aids to probe deeper into the potential of quitter-type students. The results of the research on the written test showed that the potential of 2 quitter subjects in solving open-ended questions was still low with a percentage of only 22.22%. However, when interviewed with the help of teaching aids, additional information was obtained that the two quitter subjects showed better potential in solving open-ended questions and were able to provide more than one solution and more than one correct answer.

Abstract

This research aims to get a description about the mastery of the mathematics materials and the ability in writing the mathematical solution among mathematics teachers of senior high school in Pontianak and the relationship between them. This research is a descriptive research through document and result analysis of Uji Kompetensi Profesional Guru (UKPG) Senior High School in 2016. Materials mastery of mathematics teacher is measured by the final score and understanding of UKPGs selected questions, while the ability in writing mathematical solutions is measured by score of the writing and understanding the writing component in answering all of UKPGs essay questions. Result of this research shows that most teachers got the final score below 55.0. Most mathematics teachers got the score below 47.5 in writing up solution. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the requirements of instrument, the characteristics of the developed questions prototype, the feasibility of the questions, and the thinking level of students regarding Van Hiele's Theory of geometry concept taught with assistance of Geogebra Software. This study was a Research and Development using Wina Sanjaya's model. The instrument' development procedure consists of four stages, namely: Preliminary Stage, Product Development Stage; Stage of Trial and Product Validation and Dissimination Stage of products. The instrument feasibility is based on the accuracy and practicality test. The subjects of this study were all students of class XI Santu Petrus Pontianak 2016/2017 Academic Year, with a sample of class XI-MIA3 students chosen randomly. The results showed the level of instrument feastibility which expressed through experts' testing and student' opinions, calculation of validity, reliability, distinguishing factors, levels of difficulty, and practicality test results. The instrument obtained an average validity of 0.68 belongs to high category, a reliability of 0.998 belongs to very high category, and a difficulty level of 0.35 belongs to moderate category. The percentage of content validity, construction and language content rated by the experts  amounted to 91.16%, which categorized as high. The student response rate was 80.9% which belong to good category.Keywords: Instruments, Van Hiele's theory, Geogebra Software
