Abstract

This research is motivated by students' low curiosity and behavior when learning mathematics. This is reflected in the unsatisfactory learning outcomes and the need for more motivation among students towards the subject. This study investigates and analyzes the strong influence of strengthening character education based on Tri Hita Karana on the significant improvement of mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. This research is an ex-post facto type, correlating the strengthening of character education based on Tri Hita Karana as the independent variable (X) and mathematics learning outcomes as the dependent variable (Y). The population of this study consists of 273 students, and the sample used in this research is 111 students obtained through cluster random sampling technique. Data collection is conducted using questionnaires and tests, and the data are analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis methods. The analysis process involves testing the prerequisite assumptions, including normality and linearity tests. Hypothesis testing is performed using simple regression analysis. The simple regression analysis results show a calculated value of r = 0.673, while the tabulated value at a significance level of 5% is 0.195. It indicates that the calculated value of r (0.673) is greater than the tabulated value (0.195), indicating a significant positive correlation between the strengthening of character education based on Tri Hita Karana and the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

This developmental research is motivated by the lack of critical thinking skills in mathematics among fifth-grade elementary school students. This issue arises from the absence of guidelines to assist teachers in the teaching and assessment process, resulting in a monotonous learning experience. The research aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective guidebook to enhance critical thinking skills in mathematics. The method employed is developmental research using the 4D (Four-D) model, involving 4 assessment experts, 3 practitioners, and 20 fifth-grade elementary school students as research subjects. Data are collected through both test and non-test methods, utilizing questionnaires and tests as instruments. Data analysis involves descriptive qualitative, quantitative, and inferential statistical analyses. The research findings indicate that the assessment guidebook receives excellent validation from experts and highly positive feedback from teachers regarding its practicality. Furthermore, the guidebook significantly improves the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in mathematics. Thus, the project-based assessment guidebook with a design thinking approach is deemed suitable, practical, and effective. The implication of this research is that the guidebook can serve as a reference for teachers in conducting assessments.

Abstract

Learning that still uses the teacher centered method results in students' critical thinking abilities being low. This research aims to develop a 3D learning media for a QR code-based map of Indonesian cultural blindness to improve students' critical thinking skills in class IV elementary school science content that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research is ADDIE model development research. The object of this research is the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the QR code-based 3D learning media for Indonesian cultural blind maps. The subjects of this research are media experts, material experts, practitioners and students. The data collection method uses non-tests with questionnaire instruments and description tests. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative statistics. The research results obtained validity according to material experts of 4.66 and media experts of 4.54, which is included in the very good category of validity. Based on the practicality test, practitioners obtained a percentage of 96% and student responses were 92% in the very good category. Based on the effectiveness test using Paired Sample T-Test analysis of correlated samples, a significance value was obtained in the Sig column (2-tailed) of 0.000, which means that there is a significant difference in students' critical thinking abilities before and after using the media. It was concluded that the learning media that had been developed were declared valid, practical and effective in improving critical thinking skills, so they were suitable for continuous use in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video wayang kreasi untuk mendukung pembelajaran storytelling. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi), namun pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Instumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat validitas media video wayang kreasi yaitu berupa angket penilaian yang dinilai oleh tiga ahli. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Media video wayang kreasi dinyatakan valid dari para ahli dengan rata-rata nilai CVR 1,00 dan CVI 1,00. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media video wayang kreasi untuk mendukung pembelajaran storytelling di TK B Kristen Harapan Denpasar mendapatkan hasil validitas sangat tinggi sehingga media video wayang kreasi layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the finding that there is a lack of learning media in the learning process. This study aims to develop a valid and practical demonstration-based learning video media on static electricity in the fourth grade of elementary school. This study applies 4D modeling, namely (1) define or define; (2) design or design; (3) develop or development; and (4) disseminate or spread. This study involved two material experts, two media experts, two practitioners, and five students. This study uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. Data collection methods used are questionnaires or questionnaires and interviews. The average result of the validity of demonstration-based learning videos from material experts is 96.5% very good category, 96% of media experts in the very good category, 97.5% of practitioners in are very good category, and 96.8% of student responses are very good category. These results align with the study's aim to obtain learning media that pass the validity test. It was concluded that demonstration-based learning video media on static electricity were valid and suitable for use in learning activities in fourth-grade elementary school.

Abstract

The lack of diversity in digital media and the low degree of student learning independence in primary schools prompted this development inquiry. In order to help fourth graders become more self-reliant learners, this study seeks to develop a realistic, practical, and successful economic scramble game (GASEKO) for classroom usage. The goal of this research was to analyze the extent to which fourth grade primary school pupils were able to learn independently, and the subjects’ included students, learning technology experts, and subject matter experts. The five-stage ADDIE model—which is used in this development study—consists of the following steps: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. A questionnaire or surveys are the tools utilized for gathering information. Fifteen primary school pupils in the fourth grade participated in the product trial. Qualitative, quantitative, and statistical descriptive analytic methods were employed to examine the study data. We can conclude that GASEKO media is a viable, practical, and effective strategy for enhancing the learning independence of fourth graders based on the following evidence: (1) GASEKO media has strong credentials from expert validation; (2) GASEKO media has very good credentials according to student responses; and (3) GASEKO media significantly impacts fourth graders' learning independence. This study's findings suggest that GASEKO media can broaden the range of educational resources available to schools, leading to more engaging and effective lessons for students.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa disebabkan karena kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang mampu mengkonkritkan berbagai konsep abstrak yang terdapat dalam materi ajar. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengembangkan media komik digital Matematika berbasis kearifan lokal jejaitan. Penelitian ini tergolong kedalam jenis penelitian pengembangan yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Uji coba produk dilakukan dengan desain pre eksperimen, one shot case study. Media komik digital ini diuji oleh ahli materi pembelajaran, ahli media pembelajaran, praktisi, dan siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan tes. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen rating scale. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan statistic inferensial. Hasil penelitian yaitu media komik digital Matematika berbasis kearifan lokal jejaitan yang bersifat valid dengan hasil penilaian: rata-rata hasil validitas menurut ahli materi pembelajaran sebesar 4,69 sehingga berkualifikasi sangat baik. Rata-rata hasil validitas menurut ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 4,67 sehingga berkualifikasi sangat baik. Presentase kepraktisan media sebesar 95,6% sehingga berkualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil uji-t yaitu terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan media komik digital Matematika berbasis kearifan lokal jejaitan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media komik digital Matematika berbasis kearifan lokal jejaitan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD.

Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam penggunaan teknologi untuk pembelajaran adalah kurangnya penguasaan teknologi digital, terutama dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika guru sekolah dasar menggunakan aplikasi digital dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan populasi sebanyak 56 guru. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh, sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrument berupa angket. Data kuantitatif yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan informasi terbaru terkait problematika guru sekolah dasar dalam menggunakan aplikasi digital berada pada kategori sedang. Problematika yang dihadapi guru-guru yaitu sebagian besar guru masih belum mampu menguasai aplikasi digital. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi digital yaitu: 1) membuat pekerjaan lebih mudah dan efektif; 2) mudah dipelajari dan digunakan; dan 3) tidak terikat waktu atau tempat. Maka dari itu, dapat diketahui bahwa aspek utama yang menjadi problematika guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi digital yaitu aspek keterampilan dan aspek ekonomi.

Abstract

Penyampaian materi ke siswa tunarungu masih menggunakan buku siswa serta metode ceramah dikarenakan kurangnya pemanfaatan media konkret untuk pembelajaran Matematika materi konsep dasar perkalian bagi siswa tunarungu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media PAKADES pada materi konsep dasar perkalian kelas II untuk siswa tunarungu di sekolah inklusi yang memiliki validitas tinggi dan mendapat respons yang baik dari praktisi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE untuk penelitian dan pengembangan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD, dua ahli media, dua guru, dua siswa tunarungu, dan dua siswa mendengar. Metode analisis data deskriptif, kualitatif, dan kuantitatif digunakan. Kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data primer, beserta alat-alat seperti lembar skala penilaian dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Media pembelajaran Papan Perkalian Cerdas (PAKADES) adalah media pembelajaran konkret berbentuk papan horizontal dengan tampilan operasi dasar perkalian, 2) Media pembelajaran Papan Perkalian Cerdas (PAKADES) memperoleh hasil uji validitas isi sebesar 0,92 sehingg memiliki tingkat validitas isi sangat valid, 3) Respons praktisi terhadap media pembelajaran Papan Perkalian Cerdas (PAKADES) menunjukkan hasil 96% sehingga dinyatakan sangat baik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini, media yang dikembangkan valid dan mendapat respons yang baik dari praktisi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep IPA kelompok eksperimen yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS), (2) mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep IPA kelompok kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, dan (3) mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan pada pemahaman konsep IPA antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran CLIS dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD di Gugus VII Kecamatan Sawan Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple group random sampling. Data pemahaman konsep dikumpulkan dengan metode tes dengan instrumen 10 butir tes pemahaman konsep yang berbentuk uraian. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Semua pengujian statistik dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelompok eksperimen yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran CLIS diperoleh mean (M)=38,55 termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, (2) pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelompok kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh mean (M)=33,78 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, dan (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada pemahaman konsep IPA siswa antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran CLIS dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional (thitung=3,4;ttabel=2,02 sehingga thitung>ttabel). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran CLIS berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA siswa.Kata Kunci : CLIS, pemahaman konsep IPA This study aims to (1) describe the science of understanding the concept of the experimental group who followed the model of learning with instructional Children Learning In Science (CLIS), (2) describe the science of understanding the concept of a control group that followed the model of learning with conventional learning, and (3) know the difference significant in the understanding of science concepts among the group of students who take the learning and teaching model CLIS group of students who take the learning with conventional learning models. This research is a quasi experimental study to design a post-test only control group design. The population was fifth grade elementary school students in the District of Sawan Cluster VII Academic Year 2013/2014 which consists of 6 classes. Sampling was done by using simple random sampling group. Data collected by understanding the concept of the test method with 10 grain test instrument shaped understanding of the concept description. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely t-test. All statistical tests performed at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that (1) students' understanding of science concepts that follow the experimental group learning learning model CLIS with the mean (M)=38,55 is included in the category of very high, (2) understanding of the concept of science students who followed the control group learning with the learning model conventional obtained the mean (M)=33,78 in the high category, and (3) there are significant differences in the students' understanding of science concepts among groups of students who take the learning model CLIS and groups of students who take conventional learning models (tcount=3,4;ttable=2,02 it’s mean tcount>ttable). Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of learning model CLIS effect on students' understanding of science concepts.keyword : CLIS, the understanding of science concepts
