Abstract

Background of the study: Stress is an inseparable part of a person's professional life, including the librarian profession. One of the librarians who experiences work stress is the Librarian of the Regional Archives and Library Service (DAPD) of Buleleng Regency. Remember, DAPD is the only district-level public library operating in Buleleng. The number of activities carried out, the various characters of the users served, and the library's targets make DAPD Buleleng librarians very vulnerable to work stress. Purpose: The main aim of this research is to find out what the sources of work stress are and what strategies the DAPD Buleleng librarians use to overcome the work stress they experience. Method: This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. The technique for determining informants uses purposive sampling techniques and data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and literature study. Findings: From the research results, it is known that the source of work stress for DAPD Buleleng librarians is caused by two main situations, namely threatening situations such as excessive workload and unsuitable qualifications, inability to adapt to technology, attitudes, and character of librarians, and job targets that do not meet expectations; and challenging situations such as learning new things and maximizing efforts to achieve desired targets. The strategies used by DAPD librarians to deal with work stress are, sharing work, looking for a place that can restore their good mood, doing fun activities while at home, telling stories to colleagues, and praying to God. Conclusion: It turns out that the work stress experienced by librarians also has an impact on work life and personal life. The results of this research can be a reference source for libraries that librarians need to have an understanding of the ability to manage work stress.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian dan penciptaan tentang Melasti adalah menciptakan karya seni lukis sebagai pengalaman estetis, mengekspresikannya melalui elemen-elemen penciptaan seni lukis dan penerapan tehnik dengan kombinasi media. Tujuan umumnya adalah sebagai dokumentasi dan memberi inspirasi pada seniman pemula memperkaya kasanah dan menambah kepekaan para seniman muda terhadap aktifitas dan fenomena yang ada dalam kehidupan di lingkungan sekitarnya. Metode penciptaan yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Berikut dalam penciptaan karya, pencipta menggunakan metode observasi, eksperiman, peforming, dengan memperhatikan aspek ideoflastis dan fisikoflastis. Hasil/Temuan penelitian dan penciptaan berupa dokumentasi dan hasil karya 7 buah karya lukis yang merepresentasikan upacara melasti mulai dari prosesi awal Melasti, perjalanan Melasti, suasana dan spirit Melasti, serta aktifitas dan prosesi upacara di pura sehabis Melasti. Kesimpulan, Upacara Melasti yang dilakukan masyarakat Bali, terutama menjelang Hari Raya Nyepi, melahirkan berbagai inspirasi dalam penciptaan karya seni dalam hal ini adalah karya lukis. Upacara Melasti juga dapat dijadikan sebagai smber inspirasi yang sangat kaya bagi para seniman diluar seniman lukis. Implikasi dari Upacara Melasti dan karya lukis yang tercipta bagi masyarakat Bali, dapat terwujudnya rasa dan jiwa kebersamaan, kesetaraan, serta meningkatkat jiwa spiritual utuk sujud dan bakti kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.

Abstract

I Gede Modara (1770-an) nama kecilnya I Gede Mersadi, pelukis pelopor lukisan wayang Kamasan yang kini disebut seni lukis Bali klasik. Sebagai pelukis pelopor karya-karyanya digunakan untuk persembahan dan pencerahan kepada umat. Salah satu karya peninggalan lukisan pencerahannya Modara, berjudul “Pemutaran Gunung Mandara Giri” diwujudkan dalam bentuk parba di atas kayu, menggunakan warna Bali, kini kondisinya sangat memprihatinkan, tidak terurus dengan baik, serta tidak mendapat perhatian dari pemerintah sehingga memberi kesan sangat abai terhadap peninggalan sejarah. Padahal karya tersebut merupakan karya yang memiliki reputasi tinggi sebagai peninggalan sejarah seni yang sangat penting ketika generasi yang akan datang ingin menelusuri peradaban dan perkembangan seni lukis klasik Bali. Berangkat dari fenomena tersebut, maka menarik untuk dijadikan penelitian “Preservasi Lukisan I Gede Modara dengan judul Pemutaran Gunung Mandara Giri”. Pendekatan analisis digunakan konsep teori dan metode preservasi. Preservasi berhubungan dengan pelestarian, pengembangan, dan pemberdayaan untuk menciptakan produk baru atau terbarukan. Dalam pembahasan, membahas tentang: 1) langkah-langkah pelestarian, 2) pengembangan industri kreatif, 3) pemberdayaan masyarakat dan memperluas kesempatan kerja. Temuan: Berupa produk preservasi baru atau terbarukan yang mencerminkan seni kreatif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motivasi siswa memanfaatkan perpustakaan sekolah dan persepsi siswa terhadap perpustakaan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan kuesioner sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan motivasi pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah antara siswa SMA Lab Undiksha dengan SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. Dari hasil penelitian juga diketahui bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap perpustakaan sekolah sudah berubah terutama persepsi pada suasana dan pustakawan, sedangkan persepsi aturan di perpustakaan masih tetap sama.Kata kunci: Motivasi, Persepsi, Perpustakaan Sekolah, Perpustakaan

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) the history of the founding of the Ganesha University of Education Parhyangan in Buleleng, Bali, (2) the structure and function of the Ganesha University of Education Parhyangan, Buleleng, Bali and (3) the potential of the Ganesha University of Education Parhyangan as a source of history learning in high school. The research method used is the historical research method which consists of: Heuristics, source criticism or verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that: Parhyangan Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) at the Central Campus was built in 2003 and was inaugurated on June 2 2004 which was formerly still called IKIP Singaraja. The Parhyangan structure uses the Tri Mandala concept, in the Main Mandala area there are shrines for Ratu Taksu, Padmasana, Pelinggih Ganesha, Panglurah Agung, Linggih Bhatara Tirta and Bale Piasan. In the Madya Mandala area there is the Kiwe Tengen Temple, Bale Gong, Bale Pewaregan and the Inauguration Marker and in the Nista Mandala area there are Wantilan, Sulang Aing (Lebuh) and Toilets. Parhyangan also has four functions, namely the Religious Function as a place of worship, the Social Function as a place for Hindus to unite, the Cultural Function as a place for performing arts and the development of self-skills in both singing, dance and percussion arts, and the Educational Function as a place for non-formal learning in religious field. In addition, the potential of the Parhyangan of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) on the Central Campus as a learning resource can be developed on spiritual aspects, knowledge aspects, social aspects and cultural aspects. Abstract

Era globalisasi ditandai dengan kebudayaan manusia serba cepat, mudah dan instan. Persaingan kehidupan semakin ketat, semakin tertekan dan makna hidup semakin memudar. Makna hidup merupakan suatu hal berharga bagi setiap orang, apabila sudah ditemukan tentu menimbulkan perasaan bahagia, tentram dan damai. Makna hidup bisa ditemukan dari berbagai kejadian dalam perjalanan hidup, salah satunya melalui aktivitas sosial. Ide penciptaan karya seni lukis ini terinspirasi dari makna sosial kehidupan manusia yang terjadi di desa adat Galiukir, Kebon Padangan, Pupuan, Tabanan, Bali. Menampilkan bentuk visual makna sosial kehidupan manusia dalam bentuk lukisan. Sebagai acuan mewujudkan karya Tugas Akhir penulis menggunakan aliran Klasisisme periode Renaisans dan Barok. Dengan pendekatan teori estetika, bentuk bermakna dan semiotika. Untuk merepresentasikan ide tersebut, digunakan metode penciptaan Wayan Setem, menjelaskan tentang langkah-langkah penciptaan karya seni secara garis besar melewati proses: tahap observasi atau kegiatan mengamati; tahap percobaan; tahap persiapan alat dan bahan; tahap pembentukan; tahap evaluasi. Pembahasan makna sosial kehidupan diwujudkan dengan enam buah karya seni lukis dengan tema; (1) Kelahiran melukiskan awal mula dari kehidupan yang memberikan banyak makna kehidupan; (2) Bercanda gurau melukiskan tentang kehidupan yang memerlukan hiburan; (3) Persahabatan melukiskan kehidupan yang memerlukan sahabat; (4) Menolong melukiskan derajat yang terangkat ketika menolong sesama; (5) Saling memberi melukiskan kehidupan yang saling mengisi antar sesama; (6) Mengenang melukiskan penghormatan yang dilakukan kepada seseorang yang telah berpisah. Dalam menciptakan karya Tugas Akhir penulis menggunakan teknik opaque dan teknik chiaroscuro diimbangi dengan skill dan bahan yang memadai.

Abstract

Rajapala's story is a symbol of the love and escaptic marriage between man and angel. The message that can be gleaned from this story or literary work is "do not seek pleasure by means of bulus wit or akompli nature like I King pala against the angel Ken Sulasih". Therefore the author became inspired to do the writing and embodiment entitled "Exploration Rajapala Story As Inspiration In The Creation Of Digital Comic Painting". Afterwards by examining the message and meaning of Rajapala's story, the author was inspired to create a storyline with the embodiment style of the author that they re-authored rajapala story based on the theoretical approach of the book "Making Comics", Scott McCloud. Not to forget also the author uses elements of digital comic painting so that in the creation effort can run well. Therefore, the creation of digital comics writers use the method of creation of digital comic painting works, namely exploration, experimentation, and formation so that digital comic art can be created. The creation of rajapala digital comics is an attempt to explore of Rajapala's story.

Abstract

This thesis contains a description of the creation of installation art with the title Exploration of FSRD ISI Denpasar Park in Installation Art. Based on the experience gained while studying at ISI Denpasar. By practicing sensitivity in his work, the author conducts exploration in the garden of FSRD ISI Denpasar in order to explore ideas and get material for discussion in the creation of installation art. This creation uses the Warih Wisatsana creation method as a writer and curator of fine arts, starting with basic research, exploration, experiments or sketches, embodiment, and dissemination. It takes exploration of in-person interviews to create conceptual installation art. The materials used in this creation are cloth, by adopting the Balinese wastra concept and adding color strokes to the cloth. The technique used in the installation art is assembling by arranging materials into other materials, with a length of 270 meters of cloth stretching in the garden of FSRD ISI Denpasar. The response from nature makes this installation art will produce significant changes. In addition, this installation art work has been responded by ISI Denpasar students by adding materials that have been prepared, so the creation of this installation art is included in participatory art because of the intervention of other people in the installation art. In the end, it can be concluded that art is not only enjoyed with a pair of disembodied eyes, art is also able to bring the audience involved in it.

Abstract

Commodity dimensions in art include exchange value, commercial value, valorization, commodity fetishism, market logic. Reading art through the commodity dimension is an attempt to reveal the economic value contained in the work of art. This value is not only contained in works of art, but also has a deterministic power to build and organize art. art that is part of a commodity—resulting in an aesthetic category, called “commodity aesthetics”. This is the kind of aesthetic, which builds attraction through the workings of the "immediate effect" and provokes an immediate reaction, such as cuteness, fascination or eroticism. Art and science actually have the same things are mutually sustainable, cannot be separated. From the selection of materials, to manufacturing techniques, to the curation stage, it's all a collaboration of art and science. Leonardo da Vinci's realist works are also a merger of fine art and human anatomy—biology. It is from da Vinci's works that the author is compelled to create creation that are related to the biological sciences. It is also an innovation, although not the first in the world, in the arts in Indonesia, with the hope of breaking the arts that always maintain the quo status

Abstract

The writing of the MBKM Independent Study report takes ideas or ideas about Forms of Balinese masks as Inspiration for the Creation of Painting Artwork, from phenomena that the author encounters in mask performances during barong and keris dance performances and during piodolan ceremonies at Pura Dalem Segara, as well as at Pura Batubulan village center, observation of mask and tapel craftsmen at Br. Puaya and Jeleka Batuan Sukawati and the tapel collection that the author personally owns. The author has a view on masks Balinese traditional masks, that beautiful object shapes can make masks a source of inspiration in this Independent Study work, therefore the author chose Wiradana art studio as a place to study as well as a second studio to deepen skills and broaden imagination. Of course, with the guidance of Mr. Made Wiradana, he directs the writer in his work and forms the character of the tips in the works that will be made to answer what is the goal of this work, the creation method is by exploring, improvising, and shaping. By composing art elements, and going through the stages of exploration, improvisation, and the formation stage, as well as combining them with ideas and ideas so as to create 6 works entitled: 1) “jatayu and Barong ket”, 2) “Rangda”, 3) “Naga Basuki” , 4) "Bebondresan Mask", 5) "Hard Mask", 6) "Hanoman". In the embodiment of the work, the author will use several technical references from partners.
