Abstract

The creation of works in the Independent Study MBKM program in this paper takes ideas or ideas about the interpretation of Aci Usaba Sumbu in Pakraman Timbrah Village in works of painting. The phenomenon of a religious ritual in Timbrah Village called Aci Usaba Sumbu which has its own uniqueness from the ceremonial facilities used in these religious activities. Banten Sumbu, which resembles a towering tower and the banten be guling which is offered by local villagers, is unique from a visual standpoint. The objects at the ceremony have their own meaning, the creator interprets them into life and social values through works of painting. The process of creating this work adopts the theory and methods of Alma M Hawkins. The creation method goes through 3 (three) stages, namely, the exploration, improvisation, forming stages. In the embodiment of the work, the ideas obtained created 6 works entitled: : 1) “Pengendalian Diri” , 2)”Keharmonisan” , 3)”Penyatuan”, 4)”Tri Kaya Parisudha”, 5)”Pohon Sumbu” 6)”Naga Sumbu”. The works created are a form of interpretation of Aci Usaba Sumbu along with the objects contained in the ceremony. With the creation of these works, it is hoped that they will be able to convey a message about the turbulence of the creator's feelings that have been observed.

Abstract

Sang Hyang Dedari is a traditional Balinese dance which is interpreted as a ceremonial dance to ask for safety Sang Hyang Dedari is a traditional Balinese dance which and repel reinforcements for the local community. The Sanghyang Dedari dance in Geriana Kauh Village has its own uniqueness, especially in the clothing and attributes used, in the clothing section the yellow and white clothing is used which symbolizes purity and safety or prosperity, which distinguishes Sanghyang in Geriana Village from the Sanghyang in place, namely in terms of the bun or crown, in Geriana Kauh Village they still use natural products as crowns, namely grapefruit peels and flowers such as sandat, cempaka, ratna, gumitir, and jepun flowers, which are arranged in such a way as to resemble a bun. Sanghyang Dedari's performance was performed at the catus pate or crossroad, in the center of the village. Sanghyang Dedari is danced by 2 to 7 child dancers who are underage, not yet mature or mature, these dancers or pengayah have the opportunity to sing for up to 3 terms, after a re-election is held. Sanghyang dedari is accompanied by songs, songs, songs. When dancing, the dancers will follow the strains of the gending being chanted, in the middle of that there is what is called the lilit-linting procession, in which the dancers will climb a bamboo stick and dance to the strains of the gending, this lilit-linting is shaped like a cross or tapak dara, which is also display a safety sign. In this independent project, the author shows the process and sequence of the Sanghyang Dedari dance, from the beginning to the end of the Sanghyang Dedari dance in Geriana Kauh Village, Duda Karangasem Strait.

Abstract

Calonarang mythology depicts the story of Queen Nata Ing Girah (ruler in the village of Girah) which is considered scary because it has magical powers and supernatural. Various mythical stories and magical rituals always color the trail Airlangga in Kahuripan, East Java during the 11th century Javanese Hindu period. Research This aims to create and analyze Calonarang's mythological themes in the work art painting. Therefore, the author raised this story into the form of a work of art painting in this Final Project in partnership with Sanggar Wasundari Kamasan Klungkung Bali. Calonarang Mythology research problems in creation. This is the concept of painting that depicts the Calonarang Mythology, what is the process of creating a work of painting depicting mythology Calonarang, and how Calonarang Mythology paintings look like. Method The research used in this writing is text analysis and study literature. The results of this research are works of art with a mythology theme Calonarang with an explanation of the concept, origins of Calonarang mythology, characteristics main characters, and important events in the story are realized in paintings.

Abstract

Revolusi industri adalah transformasi besar perkembangan teknologi dan pengetahuan pada manufaktur dengan mengubah sistem produksi dari cara tradisional menjadi lebih efktif, efisien, dan ekonomis. Perkembangan Revolusi Industri sudah terjadi sebanyak empat kali dimulai dari abad ke-18 sampai abad ke-21, mengalami dampak yang sangat pesat yang berdampak pada proses produksi dan reproduksi. Revolusi industri memiliki dampak positif yaitu membantu manusia menjalani kehidupan dengan teknologi yang baru dan juga ada dampak negatif yaitu manusia akan kehilangan lapangan pekerjaan karena sudah digantikan oleh teknologi dan robot yang dipekerjakan. Maka dari itu, fenomena ini sangat menarik saya untuk mengambil judul “Visualisasi Dampak Perkembangan Revolusi Industri Dalam Seni Lukis Digital” bertujuan agar dapat membuat karya seni lukis digital dari dampak revolusi industri, metode yang digunakan adalah metode penciptaan yang bersifat kualitatif di uraikan secara deskriftiv. Hasil dari pembahasan dampak revolus industri yang divisualisasikan menjadi seni lukis digital membahas tentang satu konsep, dua penciptaan karya, dan tiga deskripsi karya, empat estetika karya, dan kelima keotentikan karya. Penciptaan karya ini dilakukan distudio Antara Putra dari bulan Agutus sampai Maret menghasilkan enam karya seni digital yang berjudul karya 1 Revolusi 1.0, karya 2 Takterkendali, karya 3 Manusia dan teknologi, karya 4 Bali revolusi 55.0, karya 5 Serangan saiber, dan karya 6 AI.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyoroti bagaimana pendekatan pluralisme agama dalam pendidikan akan memberikan gambaran komprehensif, mengkaji tantangan dan hambatan dalam menerapkan pendekatan pluralisme agama dalam pendidikan di Indonesia, serta menawarkan arah untuk tindakan selanjutnya dalam memperkuat kerukunan antarumat beragama dan membangun masyarakat yang lebih inklusif, toleran, harmonis dan berbudaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data yang mendalam mengenai pluralisme agama dalam pendidikan. Pembahasan dalam artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitik yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang menggabungkan elemen deskriptif dan analitis dalam menganalisis suatu fenomena atau masalah. Pendekatan tersebut menegaskan bahwa Indonesia, dengan keragaman agama yang kaya, menghadapi dinamika kompleks dalam interaksi antaragama. Meskipun ada tantangan, potensi untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang harmonis dan toleran tetap besar melalui pendekatan pluralisme agama yang inklusif. Berbagai metode dan strategi dalam pendidikan, seperti pengembangan kurikulum yang inklusif, penggunaan literatur yang mewakili berbagai agama, dan pendekatan dialogis, terbukti efektif dalam mempromosikan pluralisme agama. Beberapa rekomendasi yang mendukung pendekatan pluralisme agama dalam pendidikan mencakup integrasi kurikulum yang inklusif, pelatihan bagi guru dalam pendekatan dialogis dan pedagogis inklusif, penggunaan literatur yang mendukung keragaman agama, penguatan program ekstrakurikuler, kegiatan komunitas, perbaruan kebijakan pendidikan, dan kampanye publik.

Abstract

The concept of visual appropriation involves using elements borrowed from others to create a work of art. In this research, appropriation entails utilizing images and narrative context from various sources to depict Abhimanyu’s death on the 13th day of the Bharatayuda war. This article explains the method for creating the visual appropriation of Abhimanyu. The process of creating visual appropriation is based on exploring, designing, and realizing craft arts, incorporating digital sketching, manipulation, media and technique discovery, imprimatura, collage, cropping, coloring, and finishing. The creation process involves identifying visual forms and their relationship to current phenomena and adding new meanings that alter the original context. The aim of creating contemporary painting is to make young people aware of the challenges or obstacles of the current situation and the need to develop strategies to deal with them. Resulting works aim to juxtapose visual references to provoke thought and reinterpretation of their meaning for the audience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of internalizing the values of the Ngaben ceremony in history learning on students' cultural literacy and social attitudes. The research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The study adopts a posttest-only control group design and was conducted in senior high schools in Buleleng Regency, Bali Province, with a total population of 547 students. The sample was selected using a random sampling technique, resulting in 61 students divided into experimental and control groups. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire method. Cultural literacy was measured using a cultural literacy questionnaire, while social attitudes were assessed through a social attitude questionnaire. The data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The results indicate that the F-values for Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root were 12.710, with a significance value of 0.000 (lower than the significance threshold of 0.05). These findings suggest a significant simultaneous difference in cultural literacy and social attitudes between students who received history instruction incorporating the values of the Ngaben ceremony and those who did not. Various components supporting the Ngaben ceremony demonstrate its strong association with cultural activities, enhancing students' cultural literacy. The essence of the Ngaben ceremony lies in its educational values, which can be instilled in students to shape their social attitudes.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil riset bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan leksikon yang rangkuman informasi beragam  terkait istilah-istilah seni rupa bidang seni lukis klasik wayang Kamasan, seni ukir, dan tekstil di Bali. Adapun sebagai sub-sistem, seni lukis klasik wayang Kamasan, seni ukir, dan tekstil mengandung berbagai unsur saling berkait yakni   konsep keindahan yang menjadi arahan, teknik yang dicari, disebarkan dan dikembangkan untuk memberi bentuk kepada konsep-konsep keindahan, ada seniman/pengerajian  yang mengelola pembuatan karya, penularan keahlian, teknik, fungsi, makna, dan peristiwa kesejarahan.  Teori yang digunakan adalah linguistik struktural, leksikologi dan leksikografi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode kajian pustaka, wawancara, dan lawatan sejarah yang dilanjutkan dengan  teknik pencatatan. Dalam metode analisis data pemilihan elemen penentu dengan teknik korelasional dilanjutkan teknik analisis induktif dan deduktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya leksikon khas yang digunakan oleh seniman/pengerajin seni lukis klasik wayang Kamasan, seni ukir, dan tekstil di Bali.  Leksikon tersebut terdiri dari tiga katagori, yakni alat dan bahan, proses pembuatan, dan estetika. Leksikon ketiga bidang seni rupa tersebut juga memiliki dua katagori fungsi yakni sebagai pemberian nama dan sebagai proses pembuatan. Begitu juga pada ragam penggambaran/motif memiliki nilai budaya berdemensi vertikal (religi dan kepercayaan) serta nilai budaya berdemensi horisontal meliputi nilai tradisi, nilai perasaan dan kedamaian, berorientasi alam, nilai kesejahteraan, dan nilai sosial.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 West Golewa and aims to (1) Find out the local wisdom values ​​of the Bajawa ethnic group and the values ​​of social attitudes that can be instilled in social studies learning. (2) what is the strategy for cultivating the local wisdom values ​​of the Bajawa ethnic group and the values ​​of social attitudes in social studies learning. (3) knowing the results of instilling Bajawa ethnic local wisdom values ​​and social attitude values ​​in social studies learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative research to instill the local wisdom values ​​of the Bajawa ethnic group and the social attitude values ​​of students at SMP Negeri 3 West Golewa in social studies learning which were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions or verification. The research results show that (1) the social and cultural values ​​contained in the local wisdom values ​​of the Bajawa ethnic group are reba, zono and kusu bue. The teacher's ability to provide examples of good interaction attitudes to students in the classroom and outside the classroom (2) the relationship between local wisdom values ​​and social attitude values ​​towards SMP Negeri 3 West Golewa social studies material,. (3) The teacher seems to have succeeded in instilling social attitude values ​​in accordance with the indicators that the researchers have described, namely: honesty, courtesy, self-discipline, tolerance in students at West Golewa 3 Middle School.
