Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur beban kerja fisik dan mental yang diterima pekerja di PT. Sumatera Sarana Sekar Sakti pada bagian mekanik armada truk mobil transportir CPO, Crudepalm oil, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor seperti umur, beban kerja yang dialami, subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh pekerja di stasiun tersebut yang berjumlah 8 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk mengukur beban kerja fisik pekerja adalah Cardiovascular load (CVL). Sedangkan untuk mengukur beban kerja mental pekerja adalah National Aeronautics and space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa beban kerja fisik yang paling besar dirasakan oleh tenaga mekanik 7 dengan nilai persentase CVL adalah 51,943%. Sedangkan dari hasil pengukuran beban kerja mental menunjukan bahwa seluruh pekerja termasuk ke dalam kategori tinggi, dengan skor NASA-TLX yang terbesar adalah 74.

Abstract

Based on the life cycle of today’s society which cannot be separated from the use of technology and digitalization in all aspects of activity. The use of the website is no exception for various things, starting from business or just spreading the information you have. However, many people especially middle-level students don’t know how to make a website. Because of that, we took the software to the target obtained from this socialization are that students are able to make simple website display examples that can be developed according to their respective designations and goals.

Abstract

The abundance of palm frond waste in Indonesia makes it an ideal source as co-firing material to increase renewable energy consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to determine whether oil palm fronds in the form of fluff, pellets, and brickets can be used as co-firing fuel. This study also aims to see whether there are differences in the potential of hard and soft palm fronds as solid fuel for power plants, as well as to calculate its slagging and fouling risk. Palm fronds was dried and reduced in sized using a wood chipper then sifted with a 20 mesh sieve to obtain palm frond fluff, then the fluff was mixed with 22% tapioca adhesive (weight ratio of 20% of the biomass) to be molded into pellet. Meanwhile, wood brickets was prepared by pyrolyzing the hard fronds (T= 550oC, t= 5 min) and mixing the charcoal obtained with 22% tapioca adhesive (weight ratio of 30% of the biomass). From the results of the analysis carried out, it is known that palm frond bricket provides the best results with an NCV value of 7095 cal/g. On the other side, both hard frond fluff and soft frond fluff contains the same sulfur content (0.06%), thus the difference in using hard or soft fronds as co-firing fuel does not have much effect. Furthermore, based on the analysis of potential slagging and fouling, all types of oil palm frond samples studied are shown to have a low to medium risk level.

Abstract

316L stainless steel is a material that can be used as an implant because it has strong mechanical properties but does not have bioactive properties so it needs to be coated with hydroxyapatiteon the surface of 316L stainless steel. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of weight ratio of hydroxyapatite and distilled water to the thickness of the hydroxyapatite layer. The method used in the study starts from the preparation of the dipping solution then the substrate was installed in the dip coating unit and the dipping processbegins. The fixed variables used in this research are the amount of HAp weight that is 12 grams, the stirring time is 20 hours, and the sintering time is 1 hour. While the changeable variables used in this study are the amount of aquades by 24 and 28 grams. Parameters has a significant effect on layer coating thickness which gives 29,6% change in the thickness of the HAp layer. The more addition of distilled water to the coating solution, the thickness of the HAp layer decreases and vice versa.Keywords : dip coating, hydroxyapatite, implan, steel

Abstract

Hydroxyapatite (HA) is a crystalline molecule composed of phosphorus and calcium. One technique for fabricated porous HA is the starch consolidation method. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of starch addition on porous HA. The study was conducted by mixed HA as much as 20 grams with the amount of starch 8, 10, 12 and 14 grams of corn starch, and 25 ml of distilled water to form a slurry. The slurry formed is then stirred at 400 rpm. The mixture is then poured into a mould. Then the mixture in the mould was heated to 100oC for 60 minutes. After that, the green bodies are removed from the mould and dried in an oven at 80°C for 24 hours and 110°C for 8 hours. The dried sample is then put into the furnace. Combustion is carried out at a temperature of 600˚C and ended with sintering at a temperature of 1250˚C each for 1 hour. Increasing the addition of starch causes the greater of the shrinkage and porosity, and the density and bending strength is getting smaller. Sintered bodies show shrinkage in the range of 35.47–47.46%, porosity 22.0-37.75%, density 1.97-2.46 gr / cm3, bending strength 0.33-2.33 MPa and pores size obtained is in the range of 80-150 μm.Keywords: bone replica; hydroxypatite; porosity; starch

Abstract

Subtansi penelitian ini mencoba menelusuri  paradigma dosen Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kaitannya dengan bangunan nasionalisme. Fakta empirisnya, nasionalisme dewasa ini dihadapkan pada berbagai macam problematika tantangan. Tantangan dalam wujud ancaman terhadap nasionalisme berasal dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Fokus penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada paradigma dosen Universitas Jember (UNEJ) dan IKIP PGRI Jember dalam mempertegas nasionalisme. Pilihan terhadap para dosen UNEJ karena secara institusional, UNEJ merupakan kampus negeri terbesar di daerah Tapalkuda Jawa Timur, sementara pilihan terhadap IKIP PGRI Jember sebagai penyeimbang dari unsur kampus swastanya. Adapun metode yang telah digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan sifat deskriptif serta pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kajian paradigmatis. Pendekatan kajian paradigmatis digunakan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam mengenai cara pandang dosen Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di kampus UNEJ dan IKIP PGRI Jember dalam mempertegas nasionalisme tersebut. Sementara penggunaan metode kualitatif dengan sifat deskriptif di sini, dimaksudkan dalam pelaporan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti dapat membuat gambaran secara sistematis dan akuratif akan fakta-fakta lapangan yang valid. Fakta-fakta di lapangan tersebut kami rangkum untuk menformat ulang sistem pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini telah men-scanning kondisi riil nasionalisme dosen pendidikan kewarganegaraan beserta problematika bawaannya. Hasil penelusuran ini diharapkan dapat menjadi miniatur gambaran realitas nasionalisme sebenarnya. Sehingga gerakan mempertegas nasionalisme tidak berangkat dari wacana utopis atau hanya sekedar romantisme historis belaka. Sehingga tawaran akademis melalui kurikulum Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan perguruan tinggi benar-benar berangkat dari kebutuhan yang ada berdasar perkembangan fenomena kontemporer. Abstract

The methods used for reducing the level of heavy metals have been developed. One of the methods used for reducing the level of Cu metal wastes in waters is the adsorption process. The purpose of this research is to observe the effects of the initial Cu+2 metal ion concentration and the mass of the adsorbent on the capability of tricalcium phosphate (TCP) to adsorb, and also to establish a suitable model of the adsorption kinetics. Add a 500 mL solution of Cu (3 mg/L, 9 mg/L, and 15 mg/L) to tricalcium phosphate (TCP) (1 gram, 2 gram, and 3 gram) in a beaker glass, stirred with a speed of 300 rpm at 30oC. Take the solution of Cu2+ at 0; 30; 1; 1.5; 2; 2.5; 3; and 3.5 minutes, and then analyze the solution of dicentrifuge Cu and Cu by using the Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). The research shows that the smaller the concentration of the adsorbent and the bigger the mass of the adsorbent, the bigger the capability of the Cu+2 metal ion to adsorb. The research also obtains the value of the kinetics, with a concentration of 3 mg/L, of 1 gram adsorbent (4.3721 g/mg.min), 2 gram adsorbent (5.4432 g/mg.min), and 3 gram adsorbent (5.4925 g/mg.min). With a concentration of 9 mg/L, 1 gram adsorbent (0.9926 g/mg.min), 2 gram adsorbent (1.1154 g/mg.min), and 3 gram adsorbent (1.4401 g/mg.min). With a concentration of 15 mg/L, 1 gram adsorbent (0.1390 g/mg.min), 2 gram adsorbent (0.2490 g/mg.min), and 3 gram adsorbent (0.4805 g/mg.min). The minimum value of the adsorption kinetics is obtained at 1 gram adsorbent with a concentration of 15 mg/L (0,1390 g/mg.min) and the maximum value of adsorption kinetics constants is obtained at 3 gram adsorbent with a concentration of 3 mg/L (5.4925 g/mg.min).Keyword : kinetic, adsorption, cuprum, tricalciumphosphate (TCP) .

Abstract

Chitin is a biopolymer and can be synthesized from ebi shrimp waste through deproteination and demineralization processes. The purpose of this study was to determine the kinetics of deproteination reaction in chitin isolate with variable reaction temperature and stirring rate. The study began by reacting shrimp waste powder with 3.5% NaOH solution using a ratio of 1:10 at 75 ° C, 85 ° C and 95 ° C and 200 stirring speeds, and 250 rpm in a glass beaker equipped with stirrer. Samples were taken every 10, 20, 30, 50, 70, 90, 110 and 120 minutes as much as 40 mL, then washed until the pH was neutral and the sample filtered. The shrimp powder produced was analyzed using titration method of formol to know the protein content contained in the sample. The results showed that the reaction kinetics follows the pseudo first order equation. The higher the temperature and the speed of stirring given to the deproteination process the greater the concentration produced. The reaction speed constant at 75°C, 85°C and 95°C with 200 rpm stirring speed was obtained at k = 0.0098 min-1 to 0.0217 min-1. While at 250 rpm stirring speed k = 0.0113 min-1 to 0.0255 min-1. The optimal condition available in this study is 95oC with 250 rpm stirring speed so that it produces protein from 14.08% to 0.87%.Key words : Deproteination, chitin, reaction kinetics, ebi shrimp waste, FTIR analysis.

Abstract

Literacy is literacy, namely the ability to write and read. In the Mangli sub-district there are several problems found, one of which is in elementary schools where the literacy and numeracy levels of students are still low. The form of service carried out by students in the field of education in the Mangli sub-district is by carrying out the calistung program through interesting learning in the form of word order games and multiplication smart board learning media. Calistung is an acronym for learning to read, write and count. In elementary school education students are required to learn basic things in the world of education, especially reading, writing, and arithmetic. The dedication methodology uses a method based on community empowerment. This program is implemented in 2 schools, namely SDN Mangli 1 and SDN Mangli 4. The aim of this program is to improve students' basic abilities by implementing interesting learning in the form of games so students don't feel bored when they have to receive monotonous lessons. At the time of program implementation, the enthusiasm of the students for the learning concepts that we had compiled was very high. Abstract

As one of the largest coal mining service companies in Indonesia, PT. RTP is engaged in integrated mining equipment rental services with international standards for mining companies in Tabalong. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of assertive communication (X1) on the performance of PT. RTP (Y), to find out the effect of attached supervision (X2) on the performance of PT. RTP (Y), and to find out the effect of assertive communication (X1) and inherent supervision (X2) together on the performance of PT. RTP (Y). The research method used in this research is quantitative analysis method. The data collection method used in this research is using a questionnaire. The results of this study are Assertive Communication has no significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. RTP. This is evidenced by the statistical results of the t test for the physical evidence variable because the value of tcount < ttable where -0.809 < 2.447 and the significance value obtained is 0.450 greater than the value of = 0.05. Inherent supervision has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. RTP. This is evidenced by the statistical results of the t test for the physical evidence variable with a value of tcount > ttable where 3.702 > 2.447 and the significance value obtained is 0.010 which is smaller than the value of = 0.05. Assertive communication and inherent supervision together have a significant impact on employee performance of PT. RTP. This is evidenced by the Fcount statistic of 8.030 which is greater than Ftable 4.76, it can be concluded that the independent variable of assertive communication (X₁), attached supervision (X₂) simultaneously has a significant effect on the dependent variable of employee performance (Y).
