Abstract

Tahfidz or memorization is pronunciation that is done repeatedly and is a teaching that is done for the first time orally or by memorization. By memorizing you need to use methods to make it easy and fun, such as applying the Ummi method. The ummi method is a practical Qur'an reading method that does not require much explanation and is repeated in learning to read the Qur'an. This method uses tones or songs that can make it easier for students to memorize. SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya is one of the schools that implements tahfidz learning using the ummi method and has been implemented for 1 year and progress has been seen. This research focuses on tahfidz learning in class V of SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya. The problems formulated in this research are (1) How is the implementation of the ummi method at SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya 02 (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the ummi method at SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya 02. This research aims to determine the implementation of the Ummi method in learning tahfidz at SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya 02 as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a type of field research using a qualitative approach. The data sources obtained came from primary data and secondary data. This research uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the implementation of the ummi method in learning tahfidz uses tones or songs in each lesson, be it tahsin or tahfidz. Preparations can be made in the form of classrooms, dividing groups to take part in this tahfidz learning with a fun implementation. Its implementation uses several steps, namely Opening, Appreciation, Concept Planting, Concept Understanding, Practice/Skills, Assessment/evaluation, and Closing. The evaluation results of student assessments have increased successfully using this method and many students have achieved the targets set by the school. Supporting factors in implementing the Ummi method are having adequate facilities and creativity for teachers, potential students, and families who support learning conditions. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the different abilities of students, families who do not support them, and the quality of each student's reading. Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia (BKPRMI) di kecamatan Medan Johor. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu BKPRMI mengetahui tentang persepsi dan harapan masyarakat terhadap keberadaan BKPRMI di kecamatan Medan Johor dan sekitarnya. Manfaat dari kegiatan ini bagi mitra pengabdian adalah memberikan rumusan konkrit mengenai persepsi masyarakat terhadap BKPRMI di Kecamatan Medan Johor dan untuk mendapatkan gambaran konkrit mengenai harapan-harapan masyarakat terhadap BKPRMI Kecamatan Medan Johor. Metode yang dilakukan adalah Wawancara/interview langsung kepada masyarakat, b). ceramah, tutorial (pendampingan, dan diskusi ilmiyah) bersama seluruh anggota BKPRMI dan beberapa Tokoh mayarakat. dan Hasil program pengabdian masyarakat adalah 1) BKPRMI memahami persepsi dan harapan masyarakat tentang eksistensi BKPRMI dikecamatan Medan Johor; 2) BKPRMI dapat menyusun program strategis untuk menjawab persepsi dan harapan masyarakat di kecamatan Medan Johor.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity. This diversity is both an asset and a challenge in maintaining harmony amidst differences. One important element that creates harmony in a multicultural society is tolerance, which can be enhanced through intercultural verbal communication. This study aims to analyze the role of intercultural verbal communication in improving religious tolerance at SMPN 237 Jakarta, identify barriers and supporting factors in the effectiveness of verbal communication, and explore the perspectives of students from various religions, especially Islam and non-Islam, regarding the importance of communication in building tolerance. The research method used is mixed methods with a sequential exploratory design. This approach begins with collecting qualitative data through in-depth interviews to understand the phenomenon in detail, which is then complemented by quantitative data through distributing questionnaires to obtain more measurable results. Based on data analysis, it was found that barriers to verbal communication include differences in religious beliefs, ethnocentrism, racism, social prejudice, and discrimination. Supporting factors include cultural awareness, empathy, an open attitude, and an inclusive school environment. The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of intercultural communication studies and practical benefits for educators, students, and educational institutions. The findings can be the basis for creating a tolerant and harmonious school environment, thereby supporting the creation of a young generation who appreciates diversity, can think critically, and has good communication skills to create a peaceful life.

Abstract

The role of information and communication technology in education in general aims to make students understand information and communication technology tools in general, including computers (literacy) and information literacy, where students recognize the terms used in information and communication technology. In the Qur'an there are so many commands, statements, suggestions and so on that substantially connect Islamic teachings with science and technology. The results of this research found that the role of information technology in education, apart from helping students in learning, also has a quite influential role for teachers, especially in the use of facilities to enrich teaching abilities, and the Al-Qur'an as a guide and guidance for the development of science and technology. in order to strengthen faith and improve human welfare.

Abstract

This research uses a literature study, a descriptive qualitative research type, a literature review describing the function of digital technology-based learning educational innovation. Research uses written sources such as articles, journals and relevant documents. The literature study focuses on the function or role of educational innovation, educational digital technology, and the use of educational technology. The study results show innovation in the process of renewal and change. Innovation is very necessary in the world of education so that it continues to develop. The use of technology has positive and negative impacts. The impact generated is focused on positive things and minimizes negative impacts if there is good cooperation from various parties so that the use of technology meets its objectives. The function of educational innovation in digital technology-based learning is very important. So that the use of digital technology can be carried out optimally and comprehensively, good innovation needed.

Abstract

Abstract

Sharia is intertwined with fiqh. In English terminology, Sharia is translated as “Islamic law based on the Quran.” In the context of reforming Islamic law in Indonesia, the method of talfiq is needed, selectively choosing opinions that align with the conditions in Indonesia. It is believed that the Islamic legal tradition, in terms of formation, reform, or legal development, is closer to the Anglo-Saxon legal system known as precedent law. This is because Muslims fully accept that all the dogma, principles, and Islamic sharia are already perfected in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet. The question at hand is how these legal texts can be guaranteed to remain relevant and capable of meeting the needs of all times, places, cultural contexts, and social levels. This study delves deeper into the Sharia within the Contemporary Era, relating to the Typology of Islamic Legal Reform Actualization and the Application of Islamic Law in Indonesia. The research is a literature study, focusing on the examination of figures and the object of study, which is Sharia in a modern context. This study employed a qualitative approach to analyze the Typology of Islamic Legal Reform Actualization and the Application of Islamic Law in Indonesia. The dynamics of Islamic law in Indonesia are expected to continue evolving and innovating so that in the future, Islamic law with universal value will not only pertain to the realm of fiqh muamalat (transactions) and akhwal sakhsiah (personal matters) but will also contribute positively to the development of national law in Indonesia in various aspects.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of salafiyah (traditional Islamic) and modern curricula at Darul Amien Islamic Boarding School in Gembolo, Banyuwangi, in response to the challenges of Islamic education in the modern era. The research aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum integration in pesantren education management. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the pesantren has successfully combined classical Islamic texts with formal school curricula into a unified system. The learning activities follow a structured level system, with regular evaluations conducted by school administrators. Challenges such as students' low motivation toward general subjects are addressed through personal mentoring and adaptive curriculum strategies. This integration improves the quality of graduates in both religious and societal competencies.

Abstract

Fenomena pemakaian bahasa gaul dalam komunikasi di media sosial semakin marak terjadi, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Media sosial sebagai wadah interaksi virtual telah menjadi ruang yang subur bagi tumbuhnya ragam bahasa tidak baku atau bahasa gaul. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penggunaan bahasa gaul pada media sosial memengaruhi kemampuan berbahasa akademik pada kalangan pelajar dan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologis. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Pengertian Bahasa Gaul, (2) Bahasa Gaul Dalam Sosial Media, (3) Pengaruh Terhadap Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemakaian bahasa gaul yang berlebihan dan tanpa kontrol dapat memengaruhi kemampuan berbahasa formal, khususnya dalam ragam akademik. Bahasa gaul yang digunakan di media sosial cenderung menimbulkan kebiasaan dalam menggunakan kosakata tidak baku, struktur kalimat sederhana, dan penggunaan ejaan yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini berdampak pada menurunnya kualitas tulisan dan komunikasi akademik yang seharusnya berlandaskan bahasa yang baik dan benar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kesadaran berbahasa dan pembinaan literasi bahasa agar generasi muda mampu memilah penggunaan bahasa sesuai konteksnya.

Abstract

This study investigates the symbolic resistance of peasant women to dominant agrarian ideologies through discursive practices on social media, with a case study of Facebook user Neneng Rosdiyana. Stemming from structural inequality in Indonesia’s agrarian system and the marginalization of rural women, the research examines how everyday language infused with humor, critique, and local idioms is used to construct resistance discourse. The study employed a qualitative case study design with netnographic observation, analyzing Facebook posts and a YouTube report collected between March and April 2025. The data were analyzed using a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach with Fairclough’s three-dimensional framework: textual description, interpretation of discursive practice, and explanation of discourse within broader social structures. The findings reveal that Neneng’s practices are not merely expressive but constitute ideological articulations challenging masculinist, academic, and state-centered agrarian narratives. Symbols such as the hoe, collective labor, and vernacular expressions function as tools of resistance against patriarchy and capitalism. Her collective practices represent a model of practical feminism rooted in solidarity rather than state intervention. This research highlights the novelty of recognizing women peasants as discursive agents in digital arenas, expanding debates on agrarian feminism and everyday resistance in rural Indonesia.
