Abstract

Mandiu Pasili is a part of the traditional ceremony that follows the wedding. Mandiu Pasili (Bathing together in front of the door) is a tradition carried out the morning after the wedding at the bride's residence. The research question is, "How are the symbolic meanings of Mandiu Pasili expressed in the traditional wedding procession of the Kaili tribe in Pevunu Village, Sigi Regency? This research aims to describe the symbolic meanings of Mandiu Pasili in the Kaili tribe's traditional wedding procession in Pevunu Village. The researchers employed a qualitative descriptive research method that gathered data from informants.  Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation, recording, and note-taking. The findings of this study indicate that the traditional wedding procession of Mandiu Pasili of the Kaili tribe contains verbal and nonverbal symbolic meanings. The verbal symbol known as Gane (mantra) on Mandiu Pasili, which consists of (1) gane pamula, (2) gane paempu, and (3) gane panggaopu, has the meaning of verbal symbols in the realms of religion, ethics, and philosophy. Examples of nonverbal symbols are examples of eggs, nails, coins, sarongs, young coconuts, flowers, breadfruit leaves, silaguri grass, Mayang coconut blossoms, gold, pots, and machetes. The purpose of implementing the Mandiu Pasili custom is to wish that the newlywed couple (a) can have children, (b)  have a family life that is always harmonious and joyful, (c) keep everyone in good physical andmental health, (d)   to keep disasters away (E) to keep it far away from any potentially harmful influences.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in the discussion of this thesis are: 1. Analyzing the concept of mental health al-Qur'an perspective. 2. Analyzing the concept of contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia. 3. Analyzing the relevance of al-Qur'an perspectives on mental health with contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia. In this study, the authors used a qualitative approach, an approach that emphasizes his analysis in the deductive and inductive inference process and in the analysis of the dynamics of the relationship between the observed phenomena. From this study, a descriptive data was obtained that illustrates the theory of mental health in the perspective of the Qur'an and its relevance to contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia. The results of this study are to improve the quality of human mentality through Contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia. Implementation is through good deeds such as prayer, dhikr, fasting, zakat, pilgrimage, and ruqyah. In terms of evaluation, it is necessary to introduce moral aspects. From the results of these studies obtained good human mental health through Contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Natural fiber processing is the type of fiber as raw materials for textile or other industries that can be obtained directly from nature. In the Indonesian automotive industry, the manufacture of parts in vehicles is Polypropylene high impact (PPHI). An example of an existing part is a CVT slide piece made with a mixed polymer composite material from PPHI and pineapple leaf fiber. Pineapple leaf fibers with small sizes are needed so that the mixing of polymer composites is good. Therefore modern technology is required to process pineapple leaf fibers. This final project makes a natural fiber powder machine for processing natural fiber, namely scavenging. The research methodology used is a prescriptive design method. The design results produce a natural fiber powder machine (pineapple leaf fiber) for polymer composite materials with long size specifications of 420 mm long, 300 mm wide, and 582 mm high. The production capacity of the natural fiber storage machine is 5 kg/h. The source of the engine drive is a 1 HP AC electric motor with a rev of 2800 rpm. The transmission system uses a V-belt with a drive shaft 30 mm in diameter. The frame construction is made of a 35x35x5 mm profile with ST42 material and knives using S45C material (AISI 1045) with a thickness of 10 mm. It uses nine dynamic blades and six sharp plane fixed blades in a 30-degree active blade and a 60-degree fixed blade.

Abstract

Saat ini pemanfaatan polimer telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dalam kehidupan manusia contohnya radiator. Pada umumnya ketika terjadi kerusakan hal pertama yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pengelemankembali pada bidang yang mengalami kerusakan menggunakan adhesive. Sambungan menggunakan adhesive salah satunya yaitu berjenis single lap joint, ini memiliki penggunaan sambungan adhesive mempunyai kelebihan tentang variasi temperatur, menstranmisikan tegangan lebih seragam, menahan kelembaban, ketahanan terhadap fatik, mudah menyambung bahan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa karakteristik mekanik yaitu kekuatan sambungan dari pada substrat polimer pada berbagai variasi menggunakan solidworks. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimen dimana dilakukan pengujian simulasi menggunakan software dilakukan analisa tentang sambungan single lap joint dengan variasi adhesive, adhesive yang digunakan yaitu epoxy dan acrylic, variasi temperatur pada 50℃, 120℃, 190℃, dan variasi kekasaran dengan tingkat kekasaran 51,17 µm dan 73,93 µm. Proses pembuatan dan pengujian simulasi untuk mendapatkan kekuatan dari spesimen single lap joint pada variasi adhesive, variasi temperatur, dan variasi kekasaran. Dimana kekuatan adhesive yang paling baik di adhesive jenis acrylicpada temperatur 50℃, tingkat kekasaran 73,93 µm dengan tegangan normal 57,037 MPa dan tegangan geser 2,085 MPa. Sedangkan untuk perekat epoxy yang paling baik pada temperatur 50°C, tingkat kekasaran 73,93 mm dengan tegangan normal 5,332 MPa dan tegangan geser 0,160 MPa. Dengan demikian jenis perekat yang paling unggul adalah perekat akrilik , dan perlu memperhatikan juga tingkat kekasaran dan suhunya pada saat aplikasinya.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the Indonesian economy. Indonesia's increasing economic growth cannot be separated from the role of MSMEs. In particular, the contribution of MSMEs to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Of course, e-commerce can also be an access for MSMEs to enter international markets. As technology develops, it becomes easier to do this, so this opens up opportunities for MSMEs to be able to optimize company operations and e-commerce. To make this happen, of course, cooperation from various parties is needed, from the government, e-commerce practitioners, academics, economic actors, and of course community support. It is hoped that e-commerce will be able to encourage the progress of MSMEs in Indonesia and especially in Kriyan Village in order to increase Indonesia's economic growth. The community service method is carried out through socialization, lectures and discussions, mentoring/practice and evaluation so that targets and goals are achieved according to targets. The result of this service activity is that the MSMEs are very enthusiastic about participating in online marketing training. Kriyan Village MSMEs have used social media as a marketing medium with a composition of 90% Instagram, 25% Tiktok and 50% Facebook, or it could be said that 85% of the skills of Kriyan Village MSMEs have increased so that they are able to operate digital marketing in promotional media. MSMEs not only know this, but they can also identify social media models that can be used as marketing material.

Abstract

Pada masa globalisasi yang bercirikan persaingan bebas dan keunggulan, serta didukung oleh teknologi informasi modern, ternyata memberikan tantangan besar bagi dunia pendidikan dalam pembangunan karakter bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya sekolah di SD Maitreyawira Palembang. Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pendidikan karakter dalam implementasi pendidikan. Obyek penelitian kualitatif ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, dan warga di sekitar sekolah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara penarikan kesimpulan dari seluruh data yang diperoleh. Implementasi pendidikan karakter dapat menjadi senjata ampuh dalam mencapai tujuan dan fungsi pendidikan nasional jika setiap kebijakan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Pemerintah benar-benar diperhatikan dengan serius dan didukung oleh seluruh pemangku jabatan dan pemilik kekuasaan baik tingkat pemerintah maupun swasta, bersama sekolah, orang tua dan masyarakat luas guna mengantisipasi degradasi moral bangsa karena dampak global.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to carry out an analysis of the validation test on the digital-based assessment model design of Automated Short Essay Scoring (ASES) to MEASURE student honesty behavior in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU). ). The research method used in this research uses the research and development model by Borg and Gall which focuses on the analysis and validation test stages of the Automated Short Essay Scoring (ASES) assessment model to measure the increase in student honesty behavior. This research uses indicators of honesty behavior in sub-indicators; (1) pleasant behavior, (2) stating what is (3) maintaining the truth, (4) fulfilling obligations and receiving rights, (5) keeping promises. The results of this research show that based on analysis and validation tests from psychology experts, it can be stated that the ASES digital technology-based assessment model is declared valid and can be used to measure the honest behavior of students in the PPKN Study Program, FKIP UISU

Abstract

The results of this study show that there are many ways that teachers can motivate students to learn at SMK Negeri 1 Palu after the earthquake, among others, by using various methods and activities. Because when the teacher uses the same method continuously it can cause boredom and reduce the enthusiasm for learning of students. Furthermore, the teacher can also increase the learning motivation of students by making students active. After the earthquake the teacher gave more prizes to students who had high scores in Islamic Religious Education subjects such as tuition free scholarships for 6 months and usually the teacher gave praise that made students more motivated in learning. After the earthquake, students who violate the subject of Islamic religious education will be given educational punishments, namely two different punishments depending on the size or size of the mistakes made by students. The background of the formation of rewards and punishments at SMK Negeri 1 Palu is the desire to reward students who are active / accomplished and if they provide sanctions / penalties based on objective data.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and assess the feasibility of short film-based audio-visual learning media for anecdotal text material in class X SMK. The population and sample included 31 students, utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) approach. Following the ADDIE model's five steps—analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation—the results indicated the media's validity and suitability for class X SMK students, as determined by media and material experts. Media expert I assessed it as 90% "very appropriate," media expert II as 86% "very eligible," material expert I as 85% "decent," material expert II as 82% "decent," and teacher's assessment as 94% "very feasible." Tested in SMK Bina Taruna 2 Medan, it received 88% "very feasible." In conclusion, the short film-based audio-visual learning media for anecdotal text material is deemed suitable for class X SMK, serving as an effective learning medium.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a socio-political-based debate text learning module for class X SMA. Following the 3D model (Define, Design, and Development) proposed by Thiagarajan, the module underwent validation by four experts, including two material experts and two design experts. Utilizing a Likert scale questionnaire, the validation sheet assessed material and design aspects. The material's quality received an average score of 3.60 from the first material expert, deemed "valid and good," and 3.55 from the second material expert, also "valid and good." Design assessment yielded an average of 4.44 from the first expert and 4.25 from the second expert, both indicating "valid and very good." Based on these evaluations, the socio-political debate text learning module is deemed feasible for use, meeting the criteria of validity and quality in both material and design aspects.
