Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of employees at Bahonsuai Community Health Center, Bumi Raya District, Morowali Regency. The research basis used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. The technique for determining informants is purposive sampling, and the informants in this research consist of 6 people.Based on the performance theory of Agus Dwiyanto (2008), the research results showthat (1) Productivity in the performance of Bahonsuai Community Health Center employees in Bumi Raya District, Morowali Regency is quite good, as seen from the speed of employees serving patients. However, the limitation of human resources, namely the insufficient number of doctors, affects the performance of the employees. Despite the limited number of doctors, the service provided by the employees still adheres to the applicable service standards. (2) The quality of service at Bahonsuai Community Health Center is quite good, indicated by the straightforward service flow that is easy for the community to understand. However, inadequate facilities andinfrastructure affect the performance of the Bahonsuai Health Center employees. (3) The responsiveness of Bahonsuai Health Center employees in Bumi Raya District, Morowali Regency is good. This can be seen from the ease and clarity of service information provided by the employees to patients. (4) The responsibility of Bahonsuai Health Center employees in Bumi Raya District, Morowali Regency is said to be good, as evidenced by the employees fulfilling their responsibilities well in serving patients. The employees are very friendly and empathetic when listening to patients' complaints. (5) The accountability of Bahonsuai Health Center employees in Bumi Raya District, Morowali Regency is good, as evidenced by the employees conducting monthly evaluations to improve and enhance their performance according to the responsibilities and operational standards applicable at Bahonsuai Health Center.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of parent-school collaboration in the design of online curricula for non-formal education institutions in East Java Province, Indonesia. Against the backdrop of increasing reliance on digital learning platforms, particularly within community-based educational centers like PKBM, the research addresses a critical gap in understanding how parental involvement can enhance the relevance, accessibility, and effectiveness of online learning. Guided by theories on parenting, educational design, and cultural contextualization, the study adopts a qualitative design-based research approach. Using purposive sampling, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis involving educators, parents, and administrators from selected non-formal schools. Thematic analysis revealed several key findings: (1) parent-school collaboration significantly improves curriculum contextualization by incorporating cultural and familial values; (2) communication channels and engagement strategies require structured facilitation to be effective; and (3) such collaboration positively impacts student engagement and learning outcomes. The study concludes that meaningful stakeholder engagement, especially with parents, is essential for tailoring online curricula in non-formal settings, thereby offering a sustainable model for inclusive education across diverse communities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Limau kuit (Citrus hystrix DC) is a fruit that has a distinctive sour taste. The sourness in limau kuit extract can be used to replace glacial acetic acid, which is one of the compounds found in reagents used to aid in the diagnosis of certain diseases. One of the reagents that contains acetic acid is Turk’s solution, which functions to stain leukocyte cells and lyse other cells except leukocytes, thus enabling leukocyte count analysis. The objective of this study was to count leukocytes using a modified Turk’s solution made from limau kuit extract and compare the results with those obtained using commercial Turk’s solution. The study design was a randomized post-test only controlled group design, using instruments such as a microscope, micropipette, test tubes, and an improved Neubauer chamber. The research was conducted in the pathology laboratory of Universitas Borneo Lestari in October 2024. Leukocyte count examinations were performed in 16 repetitions, followed by statistical data analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed that the leukocyte counts obtained using the modified Turk’s solution from limau kuit extract did not show a significant difference. The difference in mean leukocyte count was 40.63 cells/mm³, with a median difference of 100 cells/mm³, a maximum difference of 150 cells/mm³, and a minimum difference of 200 cells/mm³. Microscopically, erythrocytes were completely lysed and leukocytes were clearly visible; however, bacterial contamination was still observed in the field of view. In conclusion, the modification of Turk’s reagent using limau kuit extract showed no significant difference between the control group (commercial Turk’s reagent) and the treatment group.

Abstract

     Kabupaten pekalongan merupakan salah satu sentra Industri UKM produksi pakaian. Dalam menjalankan usahanya, pengusaha konveksi membutuhkan penjahit dan penjual. Salah satu permasalahan yang dapat menghambat produksi pakaian yaitu kekurangan tenaga penjahit, sedangkan pengusaha konveksi merasa kesulitan mencari penjahit karena keterbatasan informasi. Penjualan juga masih kurang maksimal dikarenakan kurangnya penjual yang bekerja sama, sedangkan untuk mencari penjual juga tidak mudah. Tahapan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner, analisa sistem untuk menentukan kebutuhan fungsional dan nonfungsional sistem, desain alur sistem dan database menggunakan UML, pengembangan sistem serta pengujian sistem menggunakan User Acceptance Test. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan E-Konveksi terhadap kemudahan dalam mencari penjahit dan penjual sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi dan penjualan. Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan aplikasi berbasis mobile sebagai media komunikasi untuk mempermudah dalam mencari dan komunikasi antara produsen, penjahit dan penjual yang terkait dalam rantai produksi pakaian. Dari hasil pengujian, aplikasi ini dapat diterima dengan baik dan sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia has undergone a change from face-to-face learning in class to online learning due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). To support the online learning practices, SMP Brawijaya Smart School utilizes Microsoft Teams as the platform especially for online English learning. This study aims to find out teachers’ and students’ perception in using Microsoft Teams in learning English. The sample of this study was 2 English teachers’ and 180 students from 8th and 9th grades. To reach the aim of the study, quantitative research with survey design was used, with questionnaire to collect the data was conducted, and with SPSS to analyze the quantitative data was used. The results showed that teachers and students at SMP Brawijaya Smarts School had a positive perception of using Microsoft Teams in learning English. Teachers’ and students also found out that learning English through Microsoft Teams was easy to be used because Microsoft Teams provided many features that the teachers and students can access in one platform. In another say, Microsoft Teams is the one-stop platform for learning.

Abstract

Penyimpanan obat harus disimpan dengan cara yang baik dan benar tidak dapat disimpan sembarangan karena akan menyebabkan kerusakan pada obat dan mengakibatkan efek samping pada obat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi mengenai penyimpanan obat di desa Pancur Batu. Program ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat Pancur Batu dalam menyimpan obat yang ada dirumah sebagai pertolongan pertama sebelum ke fasilitas kesehatan. Pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan ini melaksanakan penyuluhan, memberikan edukasi, pemutaran vidio dan pendampingan intensif kepada peserta. Evaluasi kegiatan ini menggunakan pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Penilaian yang diberikan mengenai pengetahuan obat bebas hasil posttest peserta meningkat sebanyak 40% dari rata-rata nilai pretest 40 posttestnya 80, penilaian menyimpan obat hasil posttest meningkatkan sebanyak 60 % dari rata-rata nilai pretest 30 posttest 60, penilaian manfaat menyimpan obat hasil posttest meningkat sebanyak 58% dari rata-rata nilai pretest 30 nilai posttest 88, dan cara membuang obat tidak terpakai hasil posttest meningkat sebanyak 50% dari nilai rata-rata pretest35 posttestnya 80. Hasil kegiatan pengabdiaan masyrakat kategori manfaat menyimpan obat dengan cara benar memberikan dampak positif yang bermanfaat kedepannya terhadap masyarakat pancur batu karena masyarakat dapat menerapkan penyimpanan obat dirumah dengan cara yang baik. (1) perhatikan petunjuk penyimpanan pada kemasan dimana setiap obat memiliki petunjuk penyimpanan berbeda mengenai suhu penyimpanan, kelembapan dan paparan cahaya; (2) obat disimpat dalam kemasaan asli dan tertutup rapat; (3) jauhkan dari anak-anak; (4) perhatikan suhu dan kelembaban; (5) periksa tanggal kadaluwarsa; (6) hindari menyimpan obat di mobil; (7) dan memperhatikan tanda-tanda kerusakan obat. Cara ini baik digunakan agar mutu obat tetap terjaga dan memastikan ketersediaan obat saat dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Kabupaten Tapin menempati urutan ke 2 dengan kejadian BBLR Puskesmas Binuang mencatat tahun 2023 dengan 40 (11,3%) kasus KEK dan 13 (3,9%) mengalami anemia, pada tahun 2024 dengan 10 (8,4%) kasus KEK dan 13 (11%) mengalami anemia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh status anemia, KEK dan jarak kehamilan terhadap kejadian BBLR di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Binuang Tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control. Populasi semua ibu yang melahirkan bayi BBLR dan tidak BBLR tahun 2023 sebanyak 514 ibu. Sampel sebanyak 84 responden, dengan perbandingan kasus dan kontrol yaitu 1: 1. Kelompok kasus adalah ibu yang melahirkan BBLR sebanyak 42 orang dan kontrol adalah ibu yang tidak melahirkan BBLR sebanyak 42 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling Jenuh untuk kelompok kasus, dan Simple Random Sampling. Analisis menggunakan uji chi square. Karakteristik ibu terbanyak umur tidak berisiko sebanyak 72 responden (85,7%), Pendidikan menengah sebanyak 55 responden (65,5%), Pekerjaan ibu rumah tangga sebanyak 56 responden (66,7%), Paritas tidak berisiko sebanyak 66 responden (78,6%), Sosial Ekonomi rendah sebanyak 47 responden (56%). Status anemia ibu mayoritas tidak anemia sebanyak 58 responden (69%), Sebagian besar ibu tidak mengalami KEK sebanyak 69 responden (82,1%), mayoritas jarak kehamilan ibu tidak berisiko sebanyak 58 responden (69%), dan kejadian BBLR dan BBLN dengan kasus sebanyak 42 responden (50%) dan kontrol sebanyak 42 responden (50%). Ada pengaruh status anemia terhadap kejadian BBLR (p=0,002), adanya pengaruh KEK terhadap kejadian BBLR (p=0,004), dan adanya pengaruh jarak kehamilan terhadap kejadian BBLR (p=0,009). Adanya hubungan pengaruh status anemia, KEK dan jarak kehamilan terhadap kejadian BBLR di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Binuang tahun 2023

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant practice of illegal abortion in Indonesia which is carried out without legal or sharia basis and weak public understanding. Previous studies tend to discuss aspects of criminal law or Islamic law separately, so this study seeks to present a comparative analysis of both. The goal is to review the act of abortion through Decision No. 288/Pid.Sus/2021/PN. Jkt.Team and Fatwa MUI No. 4 of 2005. The method used is normative qualitative research with literature study and juridical-comparative analysis. The results of the study showed that the defendant violated Article 75 jo. Article 194 of the Health Law and is not in accordance with the requirements of sharia. Criminal law emphasizes legal-formal aspects, while Islamic law emphasizes morality and the protection of the soul. The court decision has imposed a criminal sentence, but it has not presented substantive justice. This research emphasizes the need for an integrative legal approach involving education, social protection, and moral-religious considerations.

Abstract

Menopause is a phenomenon in the life of women characterized by the menstrual cycle where the ovary cessation or ovaries have impairment in the functions of esterogen so hormone levels in women being inferior.This means menopause women to physical and psychological keluhan-keluhan.Complaints from at menopause varied individual and was in nature, because some of are affected are the education level, economic social levels, lifestyle, for example smoking or drink alcohol, the local culture, and the use of contraceptive you. Know the relation between characteristic of a woman with complaints at menopause in the work area for Puskesmas UPK II Kota Pontianak. The kind of research this is quantitative , use the analytic method with the approach cross sectional .96 research sample areas respondents and using a technique the sample collection which is purposive the sampling method of .Use logistic regression test data available for analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between age at menopause (p = 0.031, OR = 5,527), level of knowledge (p = 0.009, OR = 4, 575), history of use of hormonal contraceptives (p = 0.004, OR = 7.730) and complaints. at menopause. There is no relationship between education level (p = 0.107, OR = 2.510), occupation (p = 0.345, OR = 1.796). Complaints of menopause are not the same for every woman, depending on her readiness and how she reacts to it. It is recommended that health workers be able to provide counseling about menopause to women who have not menopause and who have already menopause so that all of them can accept the arrival of menopause and not feel worried about what they are experiencing.

Abstract

This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed to measuring the improvement in students’ motivation and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model using interactive flipbook media on acid-base material. The sample used consisted of 30 students from class XI-3 at SMA Negeri 14 Surabaya. The research consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments used were pre-test and post-test to assess the improvement in cognitive learning outcomes, and a learning motivation questionnaire to measure students’ affective aspects. The results showed that the average N-Gain score increased from 0.61 (moderate category) in the first cycle to 0.76 (high category) in the second cycle. A significant improvement was also observed in students’ learning motivation, increasing from an average percentage of 52.26% in the first cycle to 84.03% in the second cycle after the learning process was carried out. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model using interactive flipbook media is effective in enhancing students’ motivation and learning outcomes in chemistry learning, particularly in acid-base material. The results also indicate that this model and media can serve as an innovative and engaging alternative strategy for future chemistry education.
