Abstract

This research examines the impact of Sharia principles on economic stability, focusing on Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Padang Ulak Karang. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 35 employees through total sampling and analyzed using Smart PLS. The study identifies Sharia compliance and risk management as independent variables, with financial performance serving as an intervening variable, and economic stability as the dependent variable. The results indicate that both Prohibition of Riba and Profit and Loss Sharing System significantly influence Sharia compliance, which positively affects financial performance and economic stability. Furthermore, operational risk contributes significantly to risk management, enhancing financial performance and, subsequently, economic stability. Conversely, liquidity risk was found to have no significant effect on financial performance through risk management. These findings highlight the importance of Sharia compliance and effective risk management practices in promoting financial performance and ensuring economic stability within the Islamic banking sector. The study offers insights for banking practitioners and policymakers aiming to foster sustainable growth in the Islamic finance industry.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kepemimpinan merupakan aspek penting dalam dinamika kelompok karena menentukan arah, strategi, dan keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan. Film Mencuri Raden Saleh memberikan gambaran menarik tentang bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan muncul dalam situasi penuh tekanan dan risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk kepemimpinan yang diperankan tokoh Piko dalam film tersebut, serta mengidentifikasi dampaknya terhadap dinamika kelompok dan proses pengambilan keputusan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan dan telaah naratif terhadap adegan-adegan relevan dalam film. Data dianalisis melalui identifikasi karakteristik kepemimpinan berdasarkan teori kepemimpinan yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Piko merepresentasikan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis yang menekankan musyawarah, keterlibatan anggota kelompok, dan keterbukaan dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Pada kondisi kritis, Piko terkadang harus mengombinasikan gaya demokratis dengan ketegasan situasional. Kesimpulannya, gaya kepemimpinan demokratis yang ditunjukkan Piko menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan efektif memerlukan keseimbangan antara partisipasi, keterbukaan, dan kemampuan mengambil keputusan cepat sesuai dengan konteks. ABSTRACT Leadership is an important aspect of group dynamics as it determines direction, strategy, and the success of achieving goals. The film 'Stealing Raden Saleh' provides an interesting depiction of how leadership styles emerge in high-pressure and risky situations. This research aims to analyze the form of leadership portrayed by the character Piko in the film, as well as to identify its impact on group dynamics and decision-making processes. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis with a literature study approach and narrative examination of relevant scenes in the film. Data is analyzed through the identification of leadership characteristics based on existing leadership theories. The discussion reveals that the democratic leadership style is effective in creating a collaborative atmosphere, but it also has weaknesses such as slower decision-making and potential internal conflicts. In critical conditions, Piko sometimes has to combine the democratic style with situational assertiveness. In conclusion, the democratic leadership style demonstrated by Piko emphasizes that effective leadership requires a balance between participation, openness, and the ability to make quick decisions according to the context.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan bukan hanya peran resmi, itu adalah kemampuan esensial untuk menciptakan dampakpositif dan memberdayakan orang. Namun, unsur-unsur sosial dan budaya seringkali memengaruhikepemimpinan, termasuk bias gender yang membatasi peluang perempuan untuk menjadi pemimpin.Masalah ini sejalan dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) nomor 5 yang menyorotikesetaraan gender dalam peran kepemimpinan dan pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk menganalisis bagaimana konflik identitas memengaruhi pembentukan karakter kepemimpinandalam film Enola Holmes (2020). Studi ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan kerangkadeskriptif, menekankan pengamatan langsung terhadap film disertai tinjauan literatur. Datadikumpulkan dari percakapan, penggambaran visual, dan transkrip yang menampilkan perjuanganidentitas dan kualitas kepemimpinan protagonis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perjuangan Enola denganidentitasnya berasal dari konflik antara nilai-nilai pribadi seperti kemandirian, keberanian, dankreativitas dengan pengaruh eksternal, termasuk norma sosial, budaya patriarki, dan ekspektasikeluarga. Konflik-konflik ini mendorongnya untuk merenung, mengambil tindakan berani, danmempertahankan keyakinannya. Pada akhirnya, Enola menyadari identitasnya dan menunjukkankepemimpinan sejati berdasarkan integritas pribadi. Penelitian ini menekankan bahwa kepemimpinanautentik dapat muncul dari perjuangan individu melawan batasan-batasan sosial. Studi masa depanmungkin dapat menyelidiki penggambaran kepemimpinan perempuan dalam film-film lain atau budayayang berbeda. Leadership is not just an official role, it is an essential ability for creating positive impact and enablingpeople. Nonetheless, social and cultural elements frequently influence leadership, including gender biasthat limits women's chances of becoming leaders. This issue aligns with the Sustainable DevelopmentGoals (SDGs) number 5 which highlights gender equality in leadership and decision making roles. Thisresearch seeks to examine how identity conflict influences the formation of leadership characters in themovie Enola Holmes (2020). The study utilized a qualitative methodology with a descriptive framework,emphasizing direct observation of the film alongside a literature review. Data were gathered fromconversations, visual depictions, and transcripts showcasing both identity struggles and leadershipqualities of the protagonist. The results demonstrate that Enola’s struggle with her identity stems fromconflicts between her personal values like independence, bravery and creativity and outside influences,including societal norms, patriarchal culture and familial expectations. These disputes prompted herto contemplate, take bold actions, and uphold her beliefs. In the end, Enola recognizes her identity andexhibits genuine leadership based on personal integrity. This research emphasizes that authenticleadership can arise from individual battles with societal limitations. Future studies might investigate the portrayal of female leadership in different films or cultural settings to expand views on how identityconflict influences leadership growth

Abstract

Serial televisi Peaky Blinders (2013–2022) telah menjadi fenomena budaya global karena kompleksitaskarakter utamanya, Thomas Shelby, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan analisis mendalammengenai bagaimana narasi sinematik dalam serial tersebut merepresentasikan kepemimpinankarismatik dan dinamika loyalitas kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatifdeskriptif dengan model analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman, serta menerapkan kerangka teoretisotoritas karismatik Max Weber dan Teori Identitas Sosial untuk membedah sumber kepemimpinan danmekanisme terbentuknya loyalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karisma Thomas Shelbydibangun dari tiga pilar utama: konstruksi mitos pribadi sebagai pahlawan perang, visi transformatifuntuk mengangkat status keluarganya, serta kemampuan strategisnya yang luar biasa, yang secarakolektif menumbuhkan loyalitas emosional yang kuat dari para pengikutnya. Akan tetapi, penelitian inijuga menyoroti dualisme dari kepemimpinan tersebut, di mana loyalitas absolut yang dituntut seringkali menjadi sumber konflik internal dan memaksa anggota kelompok melakukan kompromi moral.Dengan demikian, studi ini relevan dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDG) 16 tentangperdamaian dan kelembagaan yang tangguh, karena berfungsi sebagai studi kasus alegoris yangmenggarisbawahi bahaya dari kekuasaan karismatik yang tidak terkendali (unchecked power) yangdapat merusak tatanan sosial yang adil. The television series Peaky Blinders (2013–2022) has become a global cultural phenomenon due to thecomplexity of its main character, Thomas Shelby; therefore, this study aims to conduct an in-depthanalysis of how the cinematic narrative represents charismatic leadership and group loyalty dynamics.This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with the Miles & Huberman interactiveanalysis model, applying the theoretical frameworks of Max Weber's charismatic authority and SocialIdentity Theory to dissect the sources of leadership and the mechanisms of loyalty formation. Thefindings indicate that Thomas Shelby's charisma is built on three main pillars: the construction of apersonal myth as a war hero, a transformative vision to elevate his family's status, and his extraordinarystrategic abilities, which collectively foster a powerful emotional loyalty from his followers. However,the study also highlights the dualism of this leadership, where the absolute loyalty demanded oftenbecomes a source of internal conflict and forces group members into moral compromises.Consequently, this study is relevant to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16 concerning peace andstrong institutions, as it serves as an allegorical case study highlighting the dangers of uncheckedcharismatic power, which can undermine a just social order.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan tidak hanya tentang memimpin orang lain, tetapi juga tentang kemampuan untukmemotivasi, menginspirasi dan memberikan visi yang dapat mempengaruhi tindakan kolektif. Seorangpemimpin harus mampu membangun semangat tim, menanamkan kepercayaan dan memperhatikankebutuhan orang lain untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Tujuan studi ini adalah menganalisis bagaimanakepemimpinan transformasional tercermin dalam film 5 cm. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif,dengan film sebagai objek pengamatan, dijelaskan melalui perilaku dan dialog karakter dalam adeganadegankunci. Proses observasi menggabungkan tinjauan literatur dan analisis adegan langsung untukmengidentifikasi dimensi kepemimpinan transformasional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwakarakter utama berhasil menunjukkan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan memotivasi danmenginspirasi teman-temannya selama perjalanan mereka mendaki Gunung Semeru. Ia memberikandorongan, membangun solidaritas dan memperkuat optimisme ketika kelompok menghadapi tantanganfisik dan mental. Kepemimpinan ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional juga dapatmuncul dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tidak hanya dalam organisasi formal. Leadership is not only about leading others, but also about the ability to motivate, inspire, and provide avision that can influence collective action. A leader must be able to build team spirit, instill trust, and payattention to the needs of others to achieve common goals. The purpose of this study is to analyze howtransformational leadership is portrayed in the film 5 cm. This study used a qualitative method, with thefilm as the object of observation, explained through the behavior and dialogue of characters in key scenes.The observation process used literature review and direct scene analysis to identify the dimensions oftransformational leadership. The results of this study indicate that the main character successfullydemonstrated transformational leadership by motivating and inspiring his friends during their journey upMount Semeru. He provided encouragement, built solidarity, and strengthened optimism when the groupfaced physical and mental challenges. This leadership demonstrates that transformational leadership canalso emerge in everyday life, not only in formal organizations.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan tidak hanya memainkan peran yang penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasitetapi juga berperan penting dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan organisasi yang semakinkompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi representasi kepemimpinan transformasionalyang digambarkan oleh B.J. Habibie dalam film "Rudy Habibie" (2016). Dengan menggunakanmetode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan studi pustaka secaramendalam tentang bagaimana kepemimpinan transformasional mempengaruhi dinamikaorganisasinya. Observasi dilakukan melalui pemutaran film berulang kali dan studi pustaka di lakukandengan peninjauan literatur tentang kepemimpinan transformasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa Rudy Habibie digambarkan sebagai pemimpin yang berintegritas, intelektualisme, inovatif,serta memiliki visi dan misi yang jelas dan mampu menginspirasi serta memotivasi anggota timnya.Pada awalnya, Rudy mendapat banyak penolakan dari anggota timnya dalam menerapkan prinsipkepemimpinannya dan ide-idenya yang inovatif. Namun, Rudy berhasil menanamkan rasa percayadiri dan keyakinan kepada anggota timnya, yang memungkinkan mereka mencapai tujuan organisasiyang lebih besar. Film ini memberikan pemahaman dan wawasan kepada penonton tentang praktiknilai-nilai kepemimpinan transformasional yang dapat diterapkan dalam konteks kepemimpinan diorganisasi masa kini. Leadership not only plays a crucial role in improving organizational performance but also plays acrucial role in addressing increasingly complex organizational challenges. This study aims to explorethe representation of transformational leadership portrayed by B.J. Habibie in the film "RudyHabibie" (2016). Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study employed observation techniquesand in-depth literature review on how transformational leadership influences organizationaldynamics. Observations were conducted through repeated screenings of the film and literature review,including a literature review on transformational leadership. The results show that Rudy Habibie isportrayed as a leader with integrity, intellectualism, and innovation, possessing a clear vision andmission, capable of inspiring and motivating his team members. Initially, Rudy faced considerableresistance from his team members in implementing his leadership principles and innovative ideas.However, Rudy succeeded in instilling confidence and belief in his team members, enabling them toachieve larger organizational goals. This film provides the audience with an understanding andinsight into the practice of transformational leadership values that can be applied in the contextof leadership in today's organizations.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam mempengaruhi orang lain agar mau bekerja samauntuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Seorang pemimpin tidak hanya mengarahkan, tetapi juga harus mampumemberikan motivasi, inspirasi, serta menjaga komitmen tim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menafsirkantokoh Genta dalam film 5 cm yang menggambarkan kepemimpinan visioner dan perannya dalammemperkuat kerja sama tim ketika menghadapi tantangan mendaki Gunung Semeru. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif naratif. Pendekatan ini didasarkan padakajian pustaka dari beberapa jurnal yang relevan, serta pengumpulan data melalui adegan dan dialog dalamfilm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Genta memperlihatkan gaya kepemimpinan visioner denganmenghadirkan visi besar, memberi motivasi, menjaga kohesi tim, serta mengarahkan anggota agar tetapberkomitmen pada tujuan bersama. Namun, keberhasilan mencapai puncak Mahameru bukan hanya karenaperan pemimpin, melainkan juga buah dari kerja sama tim yang kuat melalui solidaritas, dukunganemosional, dan komitmen kolektif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi kepemimpinan visionerdan kerja sama tim menjadi kunci utama dalam pencapaian tujuan besar. Temuan ini sejalan dengan tujuanpembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs) poin 16 yang menekankan pentingnya perdamaian, keadilan, sertapenguatan institusi melalui kepemimpinan yang adil dan kolaborasi yang solid. Leadership is the ability of an individual to influence others to work together in order to achieve commongoals. A leader is not only responsible for giving direction but also for providing motivation, inspiration, andmaintaining team commitment. This study aims to interpret the character Genta in the film 5 cm, whichillustrates visionary leadership and its role in strengthening teamwork during the challenge of climbingMount Semeru. The research applies a qualitative method with a descriptive narrative approach. Thisapproach is based on a literature review from several relevant journals, as well as data collection throughscenes and dialogues in the film. The findings show that Genta demonstrates a visionary leadership style bypresenting a clear vision, motivating, maintaining team cohesion, and directing members to remaincommitted to collective goals. However, the success in reaching the peak of Mahameru is not solely due toleadership but also the result of strong teamwork built through solidarity, emotional support, and collectivecommitment. This study concludes that the integration of visionary leadership and teamwork is the key toachieving major goals. These findings are also in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16, whichemphasizes the importance of peace, justice, and strong institutions supported by fair leadership and solidcollaboration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional melalui tokohLam dalam film Alif Lam Mim. Berangkat dari kebutuhan akan kepemimpinan yang adaptif,berbasis integritas, dan berorientasi pada perubahan di era ketidakpastian, penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk menunjukkan bagaimana empat dimensi kepemimpinan transformasional-pengaruh yangdiidealkan, motivasi yang menginspirasi, stimulasi intelektual, dan pertimbangan yangdiindividualisasikan-direpresentasikan secara kontekstual dalam narasi film tersebut. Metode yangdigunakan adalah kualitatif dengan observasi film: peneliti menonton film berulang kali, mencatatdialog, ekspresi, bahasa tubuh, dan dinamika hubungan antar karakter, kemudian memilih danmengkategorikan adegan-adegan tersebut ke dalam empat dimensi. Validitas dipertahankanmelalui triangulasi dengan literatur yang relevan dan pengamatan berulang. This study analyzes the implementation of transformational leadership style through thecharacter Lam in the film Alif Lam Mim. Departing from the need for adaptive, integritybased,and change-oriented leadership in an era of uncertainty, this study aims to showhow the four dimensions of transformational leadership—idealized influence, inspirationalmotivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—are representedcontextually in the film's narrative. The method used is qualitative with film observation:the researcher watched the film repeatedly, noted the dialogue, expressions, bodylanguage, and the dynamics of the relationships between the characters, then selected andcategorized the scenes into the four dimensions. Validity was maintained throughtriangulation with relevant literature and repeated observations.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan adalah faktor kunci dalam kesuksesan organisasi, terutama di dunia bisnis yang dinamis,seperti dalam organisasi teknologi. Artikel ini menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan Mark Zuckerberg dalamfilm The Social Network (2010), dengan fokus pada gaya kepemimpinan otoriter dan transaksional. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana kedua gaya kepemimpinan tersebut berkontribusi padakesuksesan Facebook, serta tantangan yang ditimbulkan terhadap keadilan dan tata kelola organisasi melaluiperspektif Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 16 tentang penguatan institusi dan pengambilankeputusan yang inklusif, menyoroti pentingnya kepemimpinan yang adil dan adaptif. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menganalisis adegan-adegan kunci dalam film.Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan otoriter dan transaksional Zuckerberg mempercepatpencapaian tujuan jangka pendek tetapi merusak hubungan tim, kreativitas, dan kepercayaan jangka panjang.Dampak dari gaya kepemimpinan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun efektif untuk hasil cepat, gaya ini dapatmenghambat keberlanjutan organisasi. Penelitian lanjutan dapat mengeksplorasi dampak gayakepemimpinan lainnya di startup teknologi dan hubungan jangka panjang dalam tim. Leadership is a key factor in the success of organizations, particularly in dynamic business environmentssuch as technology organizations. This article analyzes the leadership style of Mark Zuckerberg in the filmThe Social Network (2010), focusing on authoritarian and transactional leadership styles. The aim of thisstudy is to understand how these two leadership styles contributed to the success of Facebook, as well as thechallenges they posed to fairness and organizational governance through the lens of SustainableDevelopment Goal (SDG) 16, which emphasizes strengthening institutions and inclusive decision-making,highlighting the importance of fair and adaptive leadership. This research employs a descriptive qualitativeapproach by analyzing key scenes in the film. The findings reveal that Zuckerberg's authoritarian andtransactional leadership styles accelerate short-term goal achievement but damage team relationships,creativity, and long-term trust. The impact of these leadership styles demonstrates that, although effective forquick results, they can hinder the long-term sustainability of the organization. Abstract

Indonesia has a long history of patriarchal culture that places men as dominant and often restricts women's freedom of movement. This condition has given rise to gender inequality that persists to this day, making the issue of women's representation in the media, particularly in film, an important topic to examine. This study aims to analyze how the film Sri Asih (2022) represents women as superheroes amidst a patriarchal culture and its implications for the construction of gender roles in society. The study used a qualitative method with a narrative semiotic approach at the levels of reality and representation. Data were obtained through observation of scenes in the film and relevant supporting literature, then linked to theories of representation and feminism to uncover the meaning behind the depiction of Alana/Sri Asih. The results show that Sri Asih is portrayed as a brave, independent woman with the strength to challenge male domination. In various scenes, Alana appears not as a passive object but as an active subject who plays a role in fighting oppression, freeing citizens from exploitation, and becoming a symbol of new hope for society. This representation challenges traditional gender stereotypes that place women in a subordinate position, while also opening up new perspectives on gender equality in the public sphere. This research has had a positive impact in strengthening the understanding that film can be a crucial aspect in fostering collective awareness regarding women's empowerment. Future research could expand the study by comparing the representation of female superheroes in Indonesian and international films to broaden perspectives on gender construction in popular media.
