Hasil observasi tentang pembelajaran IPA kelas VIII SMPLB, materi paling sulit dipahami adalah sistem pencernaan, dikarenakan guru memiliki keterbatasan media. Tujuan penelitian menghasilkan produk media Apron Sistem Pencernaan Manusia untuk siswa tunarungu kelas VIII SMPLB. Penelitian menggunakan metode pengembangan model Borg and Gall. Data yang digunakan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data meliputi deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media layak digunakan siswa tunarungu kelas VIII SMPLB. Kesimpulan dari penelitian media Apron Sistem Pencernaan Manusia berhasil dikembangkan. Saran bagi guru dianjurkan menggunakan media apron, bagi peneliti selanjutnya disarankan mengembangkan media pada materi lain.From the observations of science teaching in class VIII SMPLB, the material most difficult to understand is the digestive system. That is because teachers have limited media. The purpose of this research and development was to produce products an Apron media of Human Digestive System for students with hearing impairment class VIII in SMPLB. This research method was adapted from Borg and Gall development model. The type of data was obtained by the qualitative and quantitative data. The collection of data was obtained using questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques was including qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of this research was media well-used for students with hearing impairment of class VIII in SMPLB. The conclusion of this study media Apron Human Digestive System for deaf students of class VIII SMPLB has been successfully developed. Suggestions for teachers are encouraged to use apron media, for further research is suggested to develop media on other materials.

Anak autis merupakan anak yang memiliki hambatan dalam berbahasa dan berkomunikasi,interaksi sosial serta pemahaman terhadap sekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruhpermainan lego terhadap kemampuan sosial anak autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancanganpenelitian Single Subject Research (SSR) desain A-B-A’. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensimenggunakan permainan lego berpengaruh pada kemampuan sosial anak autis. Hasil tersebut dibuktikandengan perolehan mean level yang meningkat dari baseline 1 (A) sebesar 58% ke intervensi (B) sebesar71% dan baseline 2 (A’) sebesar 91%. Persentase overlap sebesar 0%. Dari perhitungan tersebut dapatdisimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh permainan lego terhadap kemampuan sosial anak autis.Autism children are those who have obstacles on communication, social interaction, socomprehension of their surroundings. The aim of the study is to find out the influence of lego gametowards social ability of autism children. The design of this study is Single Subject Research (SSR)of A-B-A design. The research findings showed that the intervention using lego game affected socialability of autism children. The result was proved through the improvement of mean level on baseline 1(A) which was 58% increased to 71% on intervention (B) and 91% on baseline 2 (A’). The percentageof overlap was 0%. Based on those calculations, it can be concluded that there is influence of lego gametowards social ability of autism children

Abstrak: Anak tunagrahita sedang mengalami hambatan dalam perkembangan kognitif khususnya bidang akademik pada pelajaran matematika khususnya berhitung. media dot cards untuk meningkatkan berhitung. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kemampuan berhitung sebelum intervensi, (2) kemampuan berhitung setelah intervensi, (3) pengaruh media dot cards. Penelitian eksperimen dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasilnya adalah adanya pengaruh media dot cards. Perhitungannya diperoleh Thitung = 0. α =0,05 dan n = 6. Diperoleh Ttabel = 2, H0 ditolak dan Hi diterima, sebab Thitung 0 < Ttabel 2. Kesimpulannya adalah nilai rata-rata pre-test yaitu 51,08, dan nilai rata-rata post-test yaitu 79,69. Jadi, terdapat pengaruh media dot cards terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa tunagrahita sedang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca kata siswa tunagrahitasebelum diberikan intervensi, dan saat diberikan interensi berupa permainan spelling puzzle, sertamendiskripsikan ada tidaknya pengaruh permainan spelling puzzle terhadap kemampuan membacakata pada siswa tunagrahita. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodeeksperimen dengan menggunakan Single Subject Reseach (SSR) dengan model desain A-B-A. Hasilpenelitian menunjukan perolehan mean level yang meningkat, dan persentasi overlap 0%, yang artinyaada pengaruh permainan spelling puzzle sebagai bentuk intervensi terhadap peningkatan kemampuanmembaca kata sebagai target behavior. Kesimpulan secara keseluruhan menunjukan bahwa permainanspelling puzzle dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kata siswa tunagrahita kelas 1.This study was aimed to describe the effect of spelling puzzle to word reading ability ofstudent with Intellectual Disabilities. The research method used is experimental method using SingleSubject Research (SSR) with A-B-A design. The research results show that the overlap percentage is 0%,it’s mean there is influence of spelling puzzle as an intervention to increase student’s word reading asa target of behavior.It is recommended of this study that the teachers can use media in learning processbased on the characteristics and the students’ needs.

Abstract: Study on Working Relevancy of The PG-PAUD Alumni of State University of Malang.The aim of this research was to describe: (1) the alumni appointment as teacher; (2) the relevant assignment of the alumni; (3) the spread of the alumni, and (4) the guidance to the alumni. This research useda descriptive research design. The results showed that: (a) most of the alumni (88%) have been appointed as teacher in private institution and some others(12%) in public school, with one month of the long period of waiting for a job;(2) all alumni got the job fitting the competency they have (as childhood teacher); (3) the alumni have been evenly spread to all areas; and (4) most of the alumni (72%) have been found a good guidance in acoording to their needs from supervisors, principals, the educational department, and the institution they work.Abstrak: Studi Relevansi Kerja Alumni PG-PAUD Universitas Negeri Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan:(1) pengangkatan alumni sebagai guru; (2) relevansi penugasan alumni; (3) persebaran alumni;dan (4) pembinaan alumni sebagai guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) sebagian besar alumni (88%) telah diangkat sebagai guru PAUD pada yayasan swasta dan sebagian lainnya (12%) diangkat sebagai guru PNS,dengan masa tunggu 1 bulan; (2) semua alumni bekerja sesuai dengan kompetensinya (sebagai guru PAUD); (3) alumni bekerja tersebar merata; dan (4) sebagian besar (72%) alumni memperoleh pembinaan dengan baik sesuai kebutuhan dari para pengawas, kepala sekolah, Dinas Pendidikan, dan yayasan tempat bekerja.

Developing curriculum for education faces philosophical problems when improvement of education quality is related to the curriculum coverage, the method of curriculum development, and the benefits of the curriculum. This article describes the philosophical problems in developing curriculum for education. The problems include how the curriculum sees human beings, how the curriculum is implemented, and what benefits education can offer.

The total reformation which has been underway in Indonesia has touched politics, economy, law, but education, which is the essential matter in human life. Prior to education reformation, there should be a philosophical reflection which discusses the life principles of Indonesian people. This means that reformation as the change of Indonesians’ behaviors should be based on the basic nature of Indonesians as human beings with dignity. Education reformation is urgently required since life changes very fast, particularly in science, technology, and information. Reformation must consider the basic values and Proclamation ideals which have been established by the founding fathers.

Pengembangannya harus senantiasa bertumpu pada dasar filsafat hidup bangsa agar tidak lepas dari realitas dan idealitas kehidupan. Pancasila sebagai filsafat hidup bangsa Indonesia perlu diderivasikan ke dalam kehidupan ilmiah di perguruan tinggi agar dapat fungsional dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas perkembangan ilmu di Indonesia.

John Dewey's Philosophy of Education and Its Implications to National Education. John Dewey is most productive educator-thinker in the United States. Sometimes his philosophy of education is called pragmatism in terms of his intention on practical utilities for human lives. Thinking seems to be a central focus in his theory and an instrument for measuring progresses so that his thought is also called instrumentalism and progressivism. His most important thought is democratization in education. Beside its negative aspects, the thought contains positive aspects valuable for developing our national education based on the Pancasila.
