Abstract

Behavioristic learning theory is an approach to psychology that emphasizes the importance of behavior that can be observed and measured objectively. This theory focuses on the relationship between stimulus and response, and emphasizes the role of the environment as a major factor in the formation of behavior. In behaviorism, learning is seen as a change in behavior that occurs due to reinforcement or punishment. The main figures in this theory include Ivan Pavlov with classical conditioning theory, B.F. Skinner with operant conditioning theory, and John B. Watson who popularized behaviorism as a scientific approach to psychology. Applications of this theory are widely used in education, training, and behavior therapy, especially in forming new habits or eliminating unwanted behaviors. The strength of this approach is its simplicity and focus on measurable results, while its weakness lies in its lack of attention to internal factors, such as motivation, emotions, and cognitive processes. By understanding behavioristic learning theory, educators and practitioners can design effective strategies to redirect behavior through environmental manipulation and appropriate reinforcement.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget dapat berdampak bagi perkembangan sosial anak. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis dampak dari penggunaan gadget bagi perkembangan sosial anak usia dini. Artikel ini merupakan hasil analisis dengan mengkaji literatur yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan topik pembahasan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur atau lirature riview. Anak-anak seringkali lupa berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya karena terlalu banyak menghabiskan waktu dengan bermain gadget Dalam hal ini sangat diperlukan pengawasan oleh orang tua untuk memonitoring kegiatan anak dalam menggunakan gadget sehari-hari untuk meminimalisir sisi negatif dari dampak penggunaan gadget pada anak. Sudah seharusnya anak diarahkan kedalam kegiatan yang memiliki aktivitas dilingkungan agar mudah untuk bersosialisasi. Orang tua   harus mampu   membatasi   waktu penggunaan  gadget anak,  menerapkan  pola  asuh  yang  seimbang,  mendorong  interaksi  sosial, dan   menjadi  teladan  positif.   Kata Kunci: dampak gadget, perkembangan sosial, anak usia dini

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of teacher understanding of learners' growth and development on the quality of learning quality at MAN 1 Padang Pariaman. In the context of education, teachers' understanding of students' developmental stages can influence the way they design and implement implement learning, thus impacting on students' motivation and learning outcomes. students' motivation and learning outcomes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with two main data collection techniques: semi-structured interviews and classroom observations.Participants consisted of five teachers and students. Interviews were conducted to explore teachers' understanding of student development as well as the application of teaching strategies that are tailored to the developmental stage of students. Meanwhile, classroom observations were conducted to directly observe the implementation of these strategies in learning activities. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify the main themes that emerged from the interviews and observations. The results show that teachers who understand student development tend to create a more inclusive, supportive and effective learning atmosphere. Conversely, a lack of understanding of students' developmental stages can lead to low student motivation and learning outcomes. This research provides insight into the importance of teachers' understanding of student development in improving the quality of learning that is more in line with students' needs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of learning motivation in the perspective of the Qur'an. The Qur'an as a source of Islamic teachings provides comprehensive guidance on the importance of seeking knowledge. Through various verses, the Qur'an inspires individuals to have strong learning motivation. This study uses a literature review method which allows a researcher to identify a theory or method, develop a theory or method, identify gaps that occur between a theory and relevance in the field/to a research result. In the field of education, there is no doubt that the existence of the Qur'an has influenced the education system. By studying the Qur'an, it can provide inspiration and motivation in aspects of life. By understanding the messages of the Quran about learning motivation, students can explore spiritual wisdom and apply it in their journey to learn and understand the universe.

Abstract

This study discusses the formation of religious character in students of SDN 10 Cubadak Air through the congregational zhuhur prayer program in terms of behavioristic learning theory. Where this theory emphasizes changes in behavior that appear as a consequence of learning outcomes with its famous pattern, namely stimulus-response. In this study, researchers focused on the pattern of forming students' religious character through the congregational Zhuhur prayer program implemented in the school used as a research site, these educational programs and patterns will be juxtaposed with behavioristic learning theory. researchers used a qualitative approach in this research with a descriptive type of research, researchers conducted direct observation (observation), interviews with principals, teachers and documentation, the data obtained were analyzed using triangulation. The results showed that with the application of behavioristic learning theory in shaping the religious character of students through the congregational zhuhur prayer program is able to form student responsibility for their obligations in worship, able to change the morals of students who were previously not good to be better because of good habituation from starting to wash to remembrance after prayer, making students more directed, and the establishment of collaboration between educational units and with student guardians on the development of their children's behavior at school.

Abstract

Education in the digital technology era presents new challenges and opportunities for educators in enhancing student learning motivation. The advancement of information and communication technology allows unlimited access to various learning resources but can also lead to distractions and a decline in student motivation. This article aims to discuss the role of educators in enhancing student learning motivation in the digital technology era. This research uses a literature study method, using literature as the main data source to explore theories and concepts regarding the role of educators in enhancing student learning motivation. The results of this study indicate that the role of educators in enhancing student learning motivation in the digital technology era is crucial. First, educators must be able to integrate technology into the learning process. With the proper use of technology, learning becomes more engaging and relevant to students, which in turn can increase their motivation to learn. Second, educators need to choose appropriate teaching methods to help students better understand the material. The right methods will make students feel more motivated to engage in learning. Furthermore, educators must understand the characteristics of their students, including their uniqueness and background. This understanding allows educators to adjust their teaching approaches to be more effective in enhancing student learning motivation. Lastly, educators must create activities that actively engage students in the classroom. Interactive activities that involve students can make them more interested and enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode Balai Gurah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an di TPA Minangkabau Saiyo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriptif yakni menggambarkan keadaan atau status suatu kejadian atau fenomena. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Perencanaan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an dengan metode Balai Gurah dimulai dengan menyusun kurikulum yang mengadopsi sistem pembelajaran Balai Gurah. 2) Pelaksanaan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an dengan metode Balai Gurah terdiri dari dua tahap, Tahap 1 adalah kegiatan belajar Al-Qur'an di TPA Minangkabau Saiyo yang dilaksanakan dari hari Senin hingga Sabtu, mulai pukul 14.00 hingga 17.30 WIB. Tahap 2 melibatkan materi pembelajaran sebanyak 46 materi, yang mencakup tajwid dasar seperti pengenalan huruf beserta hukum tajwid lainnya, serta materi fiqih. Tahap ini dapat diselesaikan dalam waktu 5 bulan pertama. Setelah itu, murid-murid akan diarahkan untuk mempraktikkan membaca Al-Qur'an mulai dari juz 1. 3) Evaluasi pembelajaran di TPA Minangkabau Saiyo terdiri dari evaluasi mingguan dan evaluasi tahunan. Penerapan metode Balai Gurah memiliki pengaruh yang positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an anak-anak di TPA Minangkabau Saiyo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya masalah-masalah kenakalan remaja di Jorong Pintu Rayo, Kenegarian Tanjung Barulak, diantaranya yaitu merokok, bolos sekolah dan mereka nongkrong di pondok-pondok sawah lalu bermain HP bersama, tidak salat jum’at dan memilih nongkrong dipondok-pondok dan bermain HP, ugal-ugalan dalam mengendara motor, balapan liar, mencuri uang orang tua, mencuri kotal amal, melawan dengan orang tua dan berkata-kata kotor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bahagaimana peran orang tua dalam mengatasi masalah-masalah tersebut, lalu untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi timbulnya masalah-masalah kenakalan remaja ini. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian field and research dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu peran otang tua dalam mengatasi kenakalan remaja di Jorong Pintura Rayo diantaranya, Peran orang tua sebagai pendidik yang baik, Peran orang tua sebagai motivator, Peran orang tua sebagai pendengar yang baik, peran orang tua sebagai pengawas, peran orang tua sebagai konselor bagi anak, peran orang tua sebagai contoh teladan yang baik. Fakto-faktor yang mempengaruhi kenakalan remaja di Jorong Pintu Rayo yaitu, faktor lingkungan, pola asuh otoriter orang tua, kurangnya perhatian yang diberikan orang tua, lalu kurangnya sedaran anak untuk berperilaku baik

Abstract

Social relationships result from interactions between individuals influenced by various factors, including self-concept, social skills, parenting patterns, culture, and communication. This study aims to analyze (1) the contribution of self-concept to students' social relationships, (2) the contribution of social skills to students' social relationships, and (3) the simultaneous contribution of self-concept and social skills to students' social relationships at Islamic High School of Insan Cendekia Padang Pariaman, Indonesia. This research method is ex post facto using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability as a data collection instrument. The research sample consisted of 96 students who were selected randomly. Data analysis shows that both partially and simultaneously, self-concept and social skills significantly contribute to students' social relationships. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening self-concept and social skills to build harmonious social relationships among students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the noble values or character education contained in Minangkabau local wisdom so that later it can be a reference in behaviour. And for the introduction of the younger generation so that this local wisdom still exists in the modern era. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Informants in this study, namely the selection of informants based on certain characteristics and objectives. The results of this study reveal that the internalisation of character education based on Minangkabau local wisdom can occur through Minangkabau Natural Culture (BAM) or Local Content (Mulok) subjects in West Sumatra, through traditional Minangkabau stories that are full of moral values such as Kaba but are now starting to be abandoned, as well as through wise expressions typical of Minangkabau. In the midst of the rapid development of the times, it is hoped that the internalisation of character education based on local wisdom can overcome moral degradation among the younger generation lately. Not only that, by implementing the values of local wisdom in everyday life, it means that we help maintain local culture so that it still exists in the midst of the globalisation era. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai luhur atau pendidikan karakter yang terdapat di dalam kearifan lokal Minangkabau agar kelak dapat menjadi acuan dalam bersikap. Dan untuk pengenalan juga bagi generasi muda agar kearifan lokal ini tetap eksis di era modern. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Studi Kasus (case study). Informan dalam penelitian ini, yakni pemilihan informan berdasarkan ciri-ciri dan tujuan tertentu.. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa internalisasi pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal Minangkabau dapat terjadi melalui mata pelajaran Budaya Alam Minangkabau (BAM) atau Muatan Lokal (Mulok) di Sumatera Barat, melalui cerita-cerita tradisional Minangkabau yang syarat akan nilai moral seperti Kaba namun sekarang sudah mulai ditinggalkan, serta melalui ungkapan-ungkapan bijak khas Minangkabau. Di tengah perkembangan zaman yang begitu pesat diharapkan internalisasi pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal ini dapat menanggulangi degradasi moral di kalangan generasi muda belakangan ini. Tidak hanya itu saja dengan mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam kehidupan sehari-hari berarti kita turut menjaga budaya lokal agar tetap eksis di tengah era globalisasi.
