Abstract

North Sumatra, as one of the largest provinces in Indonesia, has serious challenges related to poverty that require serious attention North Sumatra, as one of the largest provinces in Indonesia, has serious challenges related to poverty that require serious attention and in-depth analysis. Thus, research on poverty levels in this province becomes very relevant and urgent. Therefore, a more in-depth analysis is needed regarding poverty levels in various regions within this province using data mining methods. The data mining approach is a way to gain understanding from large amounts of data. In the context of the problem of poverty levels, data mining has the potential to help reveal patterns that may be hidden in economic and social data. One algorithm that is often applied in clustering analysis is the K-Means algorithm. The K-Means algorithm is a clustering method that is widely used in data analysis and allows grouping data based on similar characteristics, so that it can be used to classify areas with similar levels of poverty. The results of this research show that data mining with the application of the K-Means algorithm can help produce more effective decisions in analyzing clustering of poverty levels in North Sumatra Province involving the use of data over a ten-year period, namely from 2013 to 2022, which records the number of poor people based on District and city. 3 groups were produced, namely 3 levels of poverty, including relatively stable, very vulnerable and vulnerable. Data from 33 districts or cities in North Sumatra resulted in a poverty level clustering of 1 city that was very vulnerable, 4 cities that were vulnerable and 27 cities that were relatively stable.

Abstract

Problems in political party elections involve a number of issues which include corruption and political scandals which can damage public trust, campaign promises which are often not kept, elections which are too personal which obscure more important political issues, high polarization and an imbalance between ruling and opposition parties, election manipulation and election crimes, problems related to campaign financing that can affect the independence and integrity of political parties, limited access to information that can influence voters, lack of diversity representation within political parties, media polarization that makes constructive dialogue difficult , as well as limitations in electoral systems that can affect the representation and responsiveness of political parties. The use of the SAW method can be applied using criteria found in actual conditions so that the party election simulation in this research can be used as an insight into the conditions in political party elections. This provides insight to the wider community on how to choose a good and careful party. This research shows that Political Party A is the best among several other political parties which are used as alternatives with a calculation result of 0.9675 using Simple Additive Weighting

Abstract

Ketidaktahuan orang awam untuk mendiagnosa kelainan orientasi seksual maka dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan sistem pakar. Sistem pakar merupakan sistem yang berusaha mengadopsi pengetahuan manusia kekomputer dapat menyelesaikan masalah seperti yang biasa dilakukan oleh para ahli. Diharapkan dengan sistem pakar ini, pengguna dapat menyelesaikan masalah tertentu, tanpa bantuan para ahli dalam bidang tersebut.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi maka diperlukan sebuah aplikasi sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa kelainan orientasi seksual. Salah satu metode sistem pakar  yang dapat mendiagnosa kelainan orientasi seksual pada orang dewasa adalah Case Based Reasoning (CBR). Case Based Reasoning (CBR) merupakan salah satu metode pemecahan masalah yang dalam mencari solusi dari suatu kasus yang baru, sistem akan melakukan pencarian terhadap solusi dari kasus lama yang memiliki permasalahan yang sama dan sudah pernah terjadi sebelumnya.Aplikasi yang dibangun dapat menghasilkan laporan hasil diagnosa. Laporan yang dihasilkan berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh sistem telah mengadopsi algoritma Nearest Neighbour sehingga lebih akurat dan tepat.Kata Kunci— Sistem Pakar, Kelainan Orientasi Seksual, Case Base Reasoning (CBR), Nearest Neighbour.

Abstract

Smartphone camera technology is currently growing rapidly so that it has specifications that support it so that the results obtained are almost on par with the quality of digital cameras. Supported cellphone cameras can be used in learning photography, not necessarily with a digital camera. The increasing number of cellphone choices makes users who want to study photography confused in choosing a cellphone that has the best cellphone camera technology. So that a Decision Support System was applied in this study as a system for obtaining the best cellphone camera technology decisions. In making the right decision on selecting the best cellphone camera technology, it must meet the criteria for Number of Camera Features, Number of Main Cameras, Number of Front Cameras, Main Camera Resolution, Front camera Resolution, Optical Zoom and Quality of Video Recording. Therefore a Decision Support System is needed to solve the problem by applying the ROC (Rank Order Centroid) and WASPAS (Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment) methods which can produce weight and preference values from the first ranking alternative. So that the selection of the best mobile camera technology for the best mobile camera technology can be found in table 7, namely the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra which is in the A5 alternative with the highest score of 3.8354 as the first rank

Abstract

Porphyria refers to a group of genetic disorders that affect the metabolism of porphyrins in the body. Porphyrin itself is a molecule that plays a role in the synthesis of hemoglobin, which functions as a carrier of oxygen in the blood. Disturbances in porphyrin metabolism can lead to the accumulation of porphyrins or their precursors, which in turn can produce a variety of symptoms. Porphyria comes in many forms, including acute porphyria and skin porphyria, each with its own unique symptoms. Nervous system and skin problems are common in porphyria patients, and if not treated properly, their health condition can deteriorate. A unique approach is needed to provide answers to this problem because it is still challenging to develop practical ways to address the problems experienced by patients. Certainty Factor and Dempster Shafer methods are two techniques that are widely used in the field of disease diagnosis today, where expert systems are often applied. But building expert systems in multiple disciplines is difficult due to uncertainty. Therefore, it is important to research and distinguish the many ways that these systems can be built. The exponential comparison approach is one of the most straightforward comparison techniques and helps minimize bias in the analysis process. To identify candidiasis in humans, this study attempted to apply, evaluate, and compare the two methodologies, as well as compare the results with the exponential comparison method. Comparative findings suggest that the Dempster Shafer technique provides a more precise diagnosis of porphyria

Abstract

Transportation in Indonesia has various types of vehicles, ranging from two-wheeled to six-wheeled, which are adjusted according to user needs. The ease of ordering transportation services is also increasing with the application that can be downloaded on a smartphone. This application provides convenience and security, as well as setting tariff rates according to the intended destination. Even though using an online transportation service ordering application has many advantages, such as convenience and security, there are some drawbacks that users often face. One of them is the discrepancy between the travel time stated in the application and reality, which can result in delays if there is an urgent need. In addition, sometimes the application also provides a longer travel route even though there is a road that is closer to the destination, so the driver must use an alternative road outside the specified route. Therefore, evaluation of the applications used needs to be done by comparing one application with another. This study aims to use a Decision Support System (SPK) to assist online transportation users in choosing the best application, taking into account factors such as the accuracy of travel time and the efficiency of the route taken by the application. There are many DSS methods that can be applied in the process of selecting or selecting the object under study, in this study the method used is the ROC method as a weighting of the level of importance of each criterion and the WASPAS method for the ranking process for each alternative. The final result obtained is that the Grab application (A3) is declared the best application in online transportation services with an acquisition value of 0.9331Decision Support System

Abstract

Monitoring and diagnosing mental and emotional health is a significant challenge in the healthcare field due to its complex and subjective nature. This research aims to develop an expert system using the Dempster-Shafer method in monitoring and diagnosing mental and emotional health conditions. The Dempster-Shafer method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertainty and combine various evidence from different information sources. This analysis is designed to identify seven types of mental and emotional illness by considering twenty-four related symptoms. The results of the analysis show that this expert system can provide a more accurate and comprehensive assessment compared to conventional methods. It is hoped that the implementation of this expert system can be an effective tool for medical personnel in making diagnoses and determining appropriate treatment steps for patients with mental and emotional health conditions. This study also highlights the potential of the Dempster-Shafer method in other applications that require evidence-based analysis under uncertainty.

Abstract

Every insurance customer will receive a policy card, as a sign that the person is included in the insurance and is obliged to pay the insurance premium, the amount of which has been determined by the company in accordance with the agreement. Premium payments are Insurance's biggest source of income. Unfavorable economic conditions often cause customers not to pay their premiums by the specified time limit, resulting in a delay in completing the recording of premium income. This research aims to find out the right type of insurance product for prospective customers. The research method used is Classification Decision Tree. Classification Decision Tree is a research method used to examine existing facts systematically based on research objects, existing facts to be collected and processed into data, then explained based on theory so that in the end it produces a conclusion. This research is for selecting the right type of insurance product for prospective customers based on the age and income categories of prospective customers. Insurers must be more careful, especially in selecting prospective customers, and in determining the right type of insurance product for prospective customers so that the power in selecting the right type of insurance product for prospective customers is right at the intended target.

Abstract

The global pandemic that has hit the world recently has forced educational institutions to adopt online teaching methods. However, choosing an effective online teaching method is a major challenge. This research develops a Decision Support System (DSS) that uses the Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) Algorithm to select the best online teaching method. This system is designed to assist decision making in educational institutions by considering various criteria such as learning effectiveness, technology affordability, ease of use, and user satisfaction. This research uses data collection methods that involve surveys from lecturers and students to obtain their preferences and experiences with various online teaching platforms. The data collected is then processed using the FMCDM model to evaluate and rank teaching methods based on predetermined criteria. Fuzzy systems are used to overcome uncertainty and subjectivity in criteria assessment. The results of this research show that the system developed is able to effectively assess and rank various online teaching methods. From the analysis carried out, interactive teaching methods using videos and real-time quizzes received the highest ranking based on predetermined criteria. This suggests that the combination of engaging visual content and high interactivity is highly valued in online teaching contexts

Abstract

Pencurian data dan aplikasi berbahaya bagi anak yang ada pada perangkat smartphone bisa menjadi masalah yang sangat buruk bagi seluruh Masyarakat. Hal itu masih dapat dicegah dengan memberikan informasi terkait semua kegiatan dan komponen dalam melakukan pencurian data dan jenis-jenis aplikasi yang berbahaya bagi anak. Kegiatan lain yang bisa dilakukan dalam mencegah dan mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan memberikan sosialisasi yang mengkaji materi dari masalah pencurian data dan aplikasi berbahaya bagi anak. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilakukan di Kota Surabaya yang diadakan oleh Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (DP3APPKB) Surabaya via zoom meeting dengan penyampaian materi yang bertema “Waspada Pencurian Data dan Aplikasi Berbahaya Bagi Anak." Kegiatan ini diikuti lebih dari lebih dari 700 pengguna Zoom Meeting dari seluruh wilayah yang ada di Kota Surabaya. Tujuan sosialisasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan Masyarakat Surabaya, khususnya para orang tua, mengenai bahaya pencurian data dan aplikasi berbahaya yang dapat mempengaruhi anak-anak. Masyarakat mendapatkan pembekalan terkait informasi cara mengidentifikasi tahapan pencurian data dan jenis aplikasi berbahaya, teknik untuk melindungi data pribadi dan memberikan wawasan kepada orang tua untuk mengawasi anak-anak terhadap penggunaan smartphone, serta mencegah akses konten yang tidak sesuai bagi anak.
