Abstract

Cybersecurity threats have become increasingly complex, coordinated, and adaptive, creating significant challenges for traditional intrusion detection systems (IDS) that rely on static, signature-based mechanisms. These systems often fail to recognize novel, evolving, or multi-vector attacks that do not match predefined patterns. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a data-driven framework that applies the Frequent Pattern Growth (FP-Growth) algorithm to analyze co-occurring events within network traffic logs. Using the CIC-IDS2017 benchmark dataset, which includes a wide range of real-world attack scenarios, network events were preprocessed and transformed into transactional data. This transformation enabled the efficient extraction of frequent itemsets and association rules without the computational burden of candidate generation. The experimental results show that the proposed method effectively uncovers meaningful attack correlations, such as brute force attempts preceding privilege escalation or malware infections leading to large-scale DDoS attacks. The model achieved a precision of 77.27%, recall of 70.83%, and F1-score of 73.91%, confirming its reliability in detecting sophisticated attack chains. A heatmap visualization was also generated to improve interpretability, allowing security analysts to quickly identify critical attack relationships. In conclusion, this research demonstrates that FP-Growth provides a scalable, interpretable, and computationally efficient approach to cyberattack detection, with potential integration into real-time IDS environments. Future work will focus on temporal sequence mining and hybrid models combining FP-Growth with machine learning to enhance adaptive, context-aware threat detection.

Abstract

Decision-making in higher education often involves evaluating multiple and sometimes conflicting criteria, particularly in regions such as Yogyakarta, Indonesia, which hosts more than one hundred private universities. Selecting the best institution is therefore a critical and complex task for students, parents, and policymakers. Traditional decision support system (DSS) methods such as SAW, TOPSIS, and AHP are widely applied but remain prone to sensitivity in weight assignment and rank reversal, which may compromise reliability. This study proposes the use of the MARCOS (Measurement of Alternatives and Ranking according to Compromise Solution) method, a recent multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) technique introduced in 2019, to overcome these shortcomings. MARCOS simultaneously considers both ideal and anti-ideal solutions to achieve more stable rankings. A DSS model was developed and applied to five private universities in Yogyakarta UII, UMY, UAJY, USD, and UTDI evaluated across six criteria: accreditation, doctoral lecturers, research publications, facilities, tuition fees, and graduate employability. The results revealed that Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) obtained the highest utility score (f(Ki)=0.7404 and ranked first, followed by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (0.6931), Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (0.6498), Universitas Sanata Dharma (0.6126), and Universitas Teknologi Digital Indonesia (0.5831). Sensitivity analysis further demonstrated that the ranking of UII remained unchanged across weight variations, confirming the robustness of MARCOS. Comparisons with TOPSIS also showed fewer rank reversals, reinforcing the stability of MARCOS in multi-criteria decision-making. This research contributes a novel application of MARCOS in higher education and offers stakeholders a transparent, objective, and data-driven tool for selecting the best private universities in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Cutaneous Larva Migrans merupakan suatu penyakit yang di sebabkan oleh parasit yang masuk ke dalam kulit dan berkembang biak sehingga menimbulkan infeksi pada kulit. Ada beberapa jenis parasit yang menyebabkan penyakit cutaneous larva migrans yaitu, Uncinaria Stenocephala Bunostum Phelebotonum Ancylostoma Braziliense dan Ancylostoma Caninum. Penyakit cutaneous larva migrans tidak terlalu familiar dikalangan masyarakat umum, oleh sebab itu kurangnya perhatian terhadap gejala awal penyakit ini. Akibatnya masyarakat baru menyadari terkena cutaneous larva migrans saat berada pada tahap lanjut. Maka dari itu dibuatlah sistem kecerdasan berbasis desktop yang menganut bidang ilmu sistem pakar yang menggunakan metode dempster shafer.Dempster shafer adalah suatu teori matematika untuk pembuktian berdasarkan fungsi kepercayaan dan pemikiran yang masuk akal, yang digunakan untuk mengkombinasikan potongan informasi yang terpisah untuk mengkalkulasikan kemungkinan dari suatu peristiwa. Sistem pakar ini dapat dipergunakan sebagai pedoman bagi dokter atau para ahli untuk mendiagnosa penyakit cutaneous larva migrans. Sistem pakar ini bisa dimanfaaatkan dalam melakukan pencarian dan penelusuran pengetahuan bagi yang ingin mendapatkan informasi terkait solusi penyakit cutaneous larva migrans.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar adalah salah satu kegiatan kampus merdeka yang juga melibatkan adik-adik mahasiswa dari masing-masing jurusan yang berbeda untuk membantu proses peningkatan pembelajaran untuk jenjang SD pada sekolah SDN 173324 Lumbanjulu Lintong Nihuta serta memberi ruang untuk mahasiswa mengeksplor kemampuannya untuk berkontribusi dalam kemajuan pendidikan. Dalam kegiatan ini dosen dan mahasiswa terlibat langsung untuk membantu pihak sekolah dalam melakukan proses peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran serta lewat pendampingan yang dilakukan bersama siswa, juga melakukan adaptasi teknologi dalam mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran dan membantu pihak sekolah dalam kegiatan administrasi sekolah dan tak lupa juga turut serta bertanggung jawab secara moral untuk membantu pembentukan karakter dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam menimba ilmu disekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pemberdayaan secara langsung dalam proses pendampingan mengajar untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini membawa perubahan yang cukup baik dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dari proses pembelajaran yang tertinggal akibat proses pandemic yang cukup Panjang yang membuat siswa mengalami ketertinggalan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran, menuntaskan siswa yang tidak bisa membaca, menulis dan berhitung serta mengedukasi guru agar mampu membuat pembelajaran berbasis digital untuk proses pembelajaran di sekolah dan memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada sebagai upaya yang dalam peningkatan minat belajar dan pengoptimalan sumber daya teknologi yang ada. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat mengatasi masalah yang dialami sekolah dan siswa menjadi lebih giat dan bersemangat dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan disekolah

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has significantly influenced the business landscape, pushing traditional businesses to adopt digital platforms to reach broader markets. This research focuses on the design and development of an online sales system (e-commerce) for Coffe ShopSipirok, a coffee shop looking to expand its market presence through a dedicated website. The e-commerce system is designed to enhance customer convenience, streamline purchasing processes, and provide detailed product information, ultimately aiming to increase sales and customer satisfaction. The development process includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing to ensure the website meets user needs and functions efficiently. The website features a user-friendly interface, secure payment gateway, and a responsive design adaptable to various devices. The implementation of this system not only improves the accessibility of Coffe Shop Sipirok's products but also positions the business competitively within the digital marketplace. Future work will involve continuous system upgrades and integration with advanced features such as customer feedback mechanisms and data analytics to further optimize the online shopping experience.

Abstract

Monitoring and diagnosing mental and emotional health is a significant challenge in the healthcare field due to its complex and subjective nature. This research aims to develop an expert system using the Dempster-Shafer method in monitoring and diagnosing mental and emotional health conditions. The Dempster-Shafer method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertainty and combine various evidence from different information sources. This analysis is designed to identify seven types of mental and emotional illness by considering twenty-four related symptoms. The results of the analysis show that this expert system can provide a more accurate and comprehensive assessment compared to conventional methods. It is hoped that the implementation of this expert system can be an effective tool for medical personnel in making diagnoses and determining appropriate treatment steps for patients with mental and emotional health conditions. This study also highlights the potential of the Dempster-Shafer method in other applications that require evidence-based analysis under uncertainty.

Abstract

Pencurian data dan aplikasi berbahaya bagi anak yang ada pada perangkat smartphone bisa menjadi masalah yang sangat buruk bagi seluruh Masyarakat. Hal itu masih dapat dicegah dengan memberikan informasi terkait semua kegiatan dan komponen dalam melakukan pencurian data dan jenis-jenis aplikasi yang berbahaya bagi anak. Kegiatan lain yang bisa dilakukan dalam mencegah dan mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan memberikan sosialisasi yang mengkaji materi dari masalah pencurian data dan aplikasi berbahaya bagi anak. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilakukan di Kota Surabaya yang diadakan oleh Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (DP3APPKB) Surabaya via zoom meeting dengan penyampaian materi yang bertema “Waspada Pencurian Data dan Aplikasi Berbahaya Bagi Anak." Kegiatan ini diikuti lebih dari lebih dari 700 pengguna Zoom Meeting dari seluruh wilayah yang ada di Kota Surabaya. Tujuan sosialisasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan Masyarakat Surabaya, khususnya para orang tua, mengenai bahaya pencurian data dan aplikasi berbahaya yang dapat mempengaruhi anak-anak. Masyarakat mendapatkan pembekalan terkait informasi cara mengidentifikasi tahapan pencurian data dan jenis aplikasi berbahaya, teknik untuk melindungi data pribadi dan memberikan wawasan kepada orang tua untuk mengawasi anak-anak terhadap penggunaan smartphone, serta mencegah akses konten yang tidak sesuai bagi anak.

Abstract

Fertilizer is a material that is given to the soil or plants to meet the nutritional needs of the plant. Fertilization needs to be carried out rationally according to the needs of the plant. In the supply of fertilizers, farmers have difficulty in determining the best fertilizer for their plants, making it difficult to choose which fertilizers are good for their plants. In determining the best fertilizer, the decision support system (DSS) can be used as an alternative to help someone make decisions more effectively and efficiently by utilizing certain data and models. To solve the existing problems, it is necessary to conduct research in decision making using the Weighted Sum Model (WSM) and Weight Product (WP) Methods which can produce decisions based on the best fertilizer criteria that will be purchased by customers. The Weighted Sum Model (WSM) method is one of the simplest and easiest methods to understand its application, this method is also part of the MCDM (Multi-Criteria Decision Making) method in evaluating the value of each alternative. The Weight Product (WP) method is a method using multiplication to relate the attribute rating, where the rating of each attribute must be ranked with the attribute weight in question. From the results of the implementation of this system, it can be concluded that using the Weighted Sum Model and Weight Product method can help customers in the decision-making process for choosing the best fertilizer to use on their plants.

Abstract

In today's increasingly digital society, individuals and organizations face a growing threat from social engineering attacks that exploit psychological and sociological vulnerabilities. This article investigates the integration of social science principles into cybersecurity education to enhance social engineering awareness. Recognizing the multifaceted nature of these attacks, the article proposes a comprehensive, age-tailored curriculum incorporating insights from psychology, sociology, and anthropology. For children, the curriculum introduces basic concepts of trust and online safety. For teenagers, it focuses on understanding psychological manipulation and promoting responsible online behavior. For adults, it offers advanced training on identifying and countering sophisticated social engineering tactics, fostering a security-conscious culture. The research methodology is based on secondary research, analyzing existing literature and case studies on social engineering and cybersecurity education. By leveraging this data, the article identifies effective educational strategies, such as gamification, scenario-based training, and continuous learning programs. These methods engage learners, enhance their practical skills, and ensure they stay updated on evolving threats. The article also emphasizes the importance of collaboration with social science experts and the use of behavioral analytics and machine learning to personalize training. In conclusion, adopting a social science approach in cybersecurity education significantly improves individuals' ability to recognize and resist social engineering attacks. The proposed curriculum and innovative teaching methods equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills while fostering a proactive, security-conscious mindset. These efforts ultimately contribute to a more resilient and secure digital environment.

Abstract

Pemilihan dosen terbaik merupakan salah satu strategi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi. Universitas Teknologi Digital Indonesia membutuhkan sistem penilaian yang objektif dan sistematis untuk mengevaluasi kinerja dosen secara adil dan transparan. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dalam proses pemilihan dosen terbaik dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa kriteria utama, yaitu kualitas pengajaran, kontribusi penelitian, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, kehadiran, dan tanggapan mahasiswa. AHP digunakan untuk memberikan bobot pada masing-masing kriteria berdasarkan tingkat kepentingannya melalui perbandingan berpasangan (pairwise comparison). Data diperoleh dari hasil survei, wawancara, serta dokumentasi kinerja dosen yang dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan AHP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mampu memberikan peringkat yang lebih objektif dalam menentukan dosen terbaik, sekaligus meningkatkan akuntabilitas dan transparansi dalam proses seleksi. Berdasarkan hasil akhir perhitungan, tiga dosen dengan peringkat tertinggi adalah: Dosen 1 (nilai akhir 2,4115), Dosen 2 (0,9994), dan Dosen 5 (0,9994). Implementasi sistem berbasis AHP diharapkan dapat mendorong dosen untuk terus meningkatkan kinerja mereka dalam bidang pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat.
