Abstract

Teacher performance was currently not optimal; this can be seen from the low learning outcomes of students. one of the factors that influence the success of teacher performance was the Principal's leadership. Therefore, research was conducted that aimed to analyze the Principal's leadership with the teacher's performance.  The type of research conducted was descriptive qualitative. The data was collected by interviewing head master, 3 school staff and selected students from 2 students. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and documentation. Analysis of the data used analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results stated that good principal leadership in planning, organizing, deploying, coordinating, and supervising will affect teacher performance in performing designing tasks, carrying out learning, assessing learning, conducting guidance, and performing additional tasks. So, the Principal's leadership was good, then the teacher's performance was good, which directly affected the quality of learning. To improve teacher performance, the headmaster must conduct a supervised program to help teachers carried out their duties.

Abstract

The implementation of local wisdom values involving teachers and students is not running optimally due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. It causes learning not to run optimally. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Sunda local wisdom values in learning in elementary schools. The researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 1 principal, 7 teachers and 16 students. Researchers made observations starting from grades 1 to 6 with representatives of 6 classes. Data collection techniques used by researchers in interviews, observation, documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the value of Sunda local wisdom was implemented well in schools and every lesson. Five discounts of local Sunda wisdom are applied in learning, namely religious values, peace-loving values, cooperation values, tolerance values, and environmental care values. The value of Malay local wisdom is significant to be applied in schools so that students have good morals, character, and manners to behave and behave according to the culture in their environment.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the effectiveness of teacher performance can be seen from the quality of teacher performance in implementing online learning involving information and communication technology media. This study aims to analyze more deeply the effectiveness of teacher performance during the covid-19 pandemic in the implementation of online learning. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research subjects were principals, 2 teachers, 2 students, and 2 guardians. The research instruments are observation sheets and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the effectiveness of teacher performance during the COVID-19 pandemic was classified as less effective. The quality of the work of teachers is classified as less effective because of the many obstacles in the implementation of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The teacher's punctuality decreases. Teacher initiatives during the pandemic are relatively ineffective. Teachers' ability during the COVID-19 pandemic is classified as less effective due to limited infrastructure, internet quotas, and unstable networks that do not support online learning processes involving technology. Communication during the covid-19 pandemic is classified as less effective because of the many obstacles that cause learning not to take place so that there is no effective communication.

Abstract

Teachers have not provided Student Worksheets based on the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) approach. This has an impact on the low understanding of fifth-grade students. This study aims to develop worksheets based on the realistic mathematic education (RME) approach and analyze the development of worksheet validity based on practical mathematic education (RME) approach on multiplication and fraction division material for fifth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE procedure. The methods used in data collection are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data collection instrument is in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The results showed that the worksheet based on a realistic mathematical education (RME) approach was valid from the material, media, learning design, and language experts. This study concludes that the learning media in the form of a worksheet based on a realistic mathematical education (RME) approach is feasible and effective in the mathematics learning process, especially in equations and fraction division.

Abstract

Faktor yang mempengaruhi tercapainnya tujuan pembelajaran dan pendidikan di sekolah adalah kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh gurusalah satu kompetensi yang hasrus dikuasi guru dalam proses pembelajaran adalah kompetensi pedagofik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil kompetensi pedagogik guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah guru yang mengajar di sekolah dasar. Data yang digunakan merupakan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan rata-rata dan presentase skor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan kompetensi pedagogik pada indikator memahami peserta didik secaraa mendalam (83,9%) merancang pembelajaran termasuk memahami landasan pendidikan untuk kepentingan pembelajaran (83%)  melaksanakan pembelajaran (74%) merancang dan melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran (88%) mengembangkan kompetensi peserta didik untuk mengaktualisasikan berbagai kompetensinya (85%) secara keseluruhan kompetensi pedagogik di se kecamatan Ukui adalah (82%) dengan kategori sangat kuat. Jadi dapat disimpulkan guru yang berada di kecamatan ukui telah memiliki kompetensi pedagogik yang sangat kuat sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah dapat memberikan kesadaran pada guru akan pentingnya penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik.

Abstract

Literasi budaya dan kewargaan merupakan kemampuan individu dan masyarakat untuk bertindak atas lingkungan sosialnya sebagai bagian dari budaya dan negara. Meningkatnya arus teknologi informasi sangat memengaruhi minat baca siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi literasi budaya dan kewargaan di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini tergolong kedalam penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode inkuiri naturalistic. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yakni 1 kepala sekolah, 4 guru, 4 siswa, dan 4 orang tua. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara, dengan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar wawancara. Setelah data terkumpul, kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sekolah dasar telah mengimplementasikan literasi budaya dan kewargaan sebesar 80% ditinjau dari aspek basis kelas, aspek budaya sekolah, dan basis masyarakat berupa kegiatan membaca 15 menit setiap hari, peminjaman buku di perpustakan, penanaman nilai-nilai karakter, terdapat fasilitas literasi sekolah serta tingkat keterlibatan tim fasilitator. Saran dalam penelitian ini, agar seluruh guru, orang tua, dan siswa lebih menekankan budaya membaca walaupun terkendala dengan kesibukan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe to enhancement malay cultural knowledge of students Elementary School in Pekanbaru. The research was conducted at SDN 191 Pekanbaru City with the focus of the object of the research werw the students of class VI. The design of this research was PTK (Classroom Action Research). The initial data of students was obtained namely 66.38 and in the first cycle 72.75 increased by a difference of 6.37 units. While the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 72.75 and in the second cycle of 78.81 has increased by a difference of 6.06 units. The action is carried out by the teacher, by the teacher together with the students, or students under the guidance and direction of the teacher, with a view to improving and improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

The difficulty of elementary school teachers in carrying out online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is a major problem for the world of education. During the Covid-19 pandemic, people were prohibited from meeting face to face, but learning must continue, so online or online learning is enforced. This study analyzes elementary school teachers' difficulties in carrying out online learning. This study uses a quantitative approach and a descriptive method. The population and the research sample used were school teachers totaling 412 teachers. The sample was obtained using the slovin formula. The data collection technique in this study was a closed questionnaire or questionnaire. This study found that the learning process consisted of 3 stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation—these results were obtained by conducting a survey of teachers by distributing questionnaires. The questionnaire results also found that the teacher's difficulty lies in planning, where a teacher must prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and learning media that follow online learning. The main difficulty lies in the planning that must be under the technology.

Abstract

Keberagaman budaya dan agama selalu dikaitkan dengan konflik yang disebabkan oleh masih lemahnya peran lembaga pendidikan dan orang tua. Perlu cara mengatasi konflik tersebut, yaitu peran orang tua menanamkan nilai multikultural. Penelitian kualitatif dengan metode case study ini bertujuan menganalisis secara mendalam dan mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai multikultural di lingkungan keluarga siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar 152993 Tapian Nauli 3A dengan 3 orang tua siswa sebagai responden penelitian yang ditetapkan dengan teknik purposif sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memegang peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai multikultural kepada anak-anaknya. Peran orang tua dapat di lihat dari bagaimana orang tua membagi waktunya terhadap anak-anaknya. Pentingnya membangun komunikasi baik antara orang tua dan guru agar sama-sama mengetahui dan terbuka terhadap anak, bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan serta lebih memahami dan perduli bahwa pentingnya menanamkan nilai-nilai multikultural untuk mendidik sikap simpati, menghormati, menghargai serta menjadikan anak-anak yang mencintai keberagaman setiap budaya sejak dini.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran harus disediakan sehingga dapat mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media permainan monopoli tematik digital pada tema 9 subtema 2 untuk siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah peneltian pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode formative research. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan; (1) tahap preliminary, (2) tahap self evaluation meliputi tahap analisis yang terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan guru, siswa, dan kurikulum serta tahap desain dan pembuatan media permainan monopoli tematik digital yang menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Construct 2, (3) prototyping meliputi tahap validasi dan revisi produk. Sedangkan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 guru, 3 siswa serta 2 ahli desain, 2 ahli bahasa, dan 2 ahli materi tematik. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembat validasi serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu media permainan monopoli tematik digital pada tema 9 subtema 2 untuk siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar yang layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli desain dengan 98% dengan kriteria sangat valid, ahli bahasa 93% dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan ahli materi tematik 97% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Persentase rata-rata hasil validasi sebesar 96% dengan kategori valid tanpa revisi. Validitas media permainan monopoli tematik digital memperoleh kategori valid tanpa revisi ditinjau berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli desain, ahli bahasa, dan ahli materi tematik.
