Abstract

The problem in this research is thinking ability Higher Order Thinking Skills (Hots) of students who are still low on history subjects. It can be seen from the learning outcomes of students that are still low.Therefore, the researcher wants to develop the matter of history on the learning material "Sumpah Pemuda dan Jati Diri Keindonesiaan" in Senior High School of Pembangunan Laboratorium Padang State University. This type of research is Research and Development. The development design used is a formative research design guided by Tessmer, which is divided into four stages: preliminary, self-evaluation, prototyping and field test. The subjects used were students of class XI Senior High School of Pembangunan Laboratorium Padang State University. Data was collected by conducting a series of tests on the subject in the form of test and validation instrument sheets. Data collection techniques used are tests. The instruments used in this research are test instruments and validation sheets. The accuracy of the validator's assessment on the validation blank is correct or not based on content (curriculum and material), constructs (characteristics/ HOTS indicators), and language (in accordance with applicable rules/ EYD). From the results of the study it was found that the test instrument used was in accordance with the criteria at the prototype and field stages. Va value generated is 4.13 with the category "Valid" on the instrument. The instrument is known to be reliable 0.786 with a "high" classification. Each question is feasible to use with the difficulty level "Medium" and "Easy" and there is no distinguishing power of "Very Bad". The test instrument produced was classified as good with 11 items.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know how the process of developing interactive timeline media for the history learning of high school students in grade XI. 2) Analyzing the feasibility of the media and the effectiveness of learning after using the interactive timeline media for class XI students at SMAN 2 Padang. The method used is research development, by following the steps of developing the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subject of this research trial consisted of 33 students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang class XI IPS 2. In this study a feasibility test was conducted based on the assessment of 2 material experts and 2 media experts to see the feasibility of the media before the trial. In addition, practicality tests were also conducted by history class XI teachers and 33 students to see the practicality of the interactive timeline media. The results showed that the feasibility of the media based on the assessment of the material experts stated that the interactive media timeline was very feasible to use with the average research data of 4.49, while the feasibility based on the assessment of the media experts stated that the interactive timeline media was very feasible to be used with the research average of the media obtained a score of 4, 26. The research product is effective in improving students' chronological thinking ability with an ngain of 0.68 and is categorized as moderate. Research products are also categorized as very practical by teachers and students with an average value of 4.75 and 4.50.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' understanding of the subject matter of history, especially in remembering facts and concepts in learning history, so that it influences student learning outcomes. One of the causes of the low learning outcomes of history is due to the lack of varied learning resources. To overcome these problems, one alternative learning resource that can be used is the mnemonic dictionary. This study aims to look at the effect of using mnemonic dictionaries as learning resources on student history learning outcomes in high school. This type of research is a quasi-experimental type. The sample used is class X IPA2 as an experimental class and class X IPA1 as a control class at SMAN 12 Padang. Whereas in Pariaman 3 Public High School the sample used class X IPS2 as an experimental class and class X IPS4 as a control class. Test score data were analyzed using quantitative analysis in the form of a t test. After the t test is a one-sided t-test of the experimental class's posttest data the experimental class's posttest data with a significance level of 0.05, the results obtained are at 12th Padang High School which is 2.840> 1.670 and in SMAN 3 Pariaman is 2.064> 1.673. Because thit> ttab, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Then it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of mnemonic dictionaries as a learning resource on the learning outcomes of students' history in high school.

Abstract

The study aims to develop Audio Media and Song Lyrics Collection Book as a medium of learning history that is feasible and practically used by teachers in history subjects in Senior High Schools. Type of research is research and development using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects of this research trial were 34 students of class X MIPA1 and 33 students of class X MIPA2 in SMAN 3 Padang Panjang. Data collection instruments used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of media validation test questionnaire, material validation test questionnaire, practicality test questionnaire by teachers and practicality test questionnaire by students. The research data were analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the validity of audio media and song lyric collection books based on the validation research of the material experts obtained an average of 3.59 and 3.50 media experts with very decent criteria. The practicality results obtained by the teacher averaged 3.36 with very practical criteria, while the practicality results obtained by students averaged 3.39 with very practical criteria. Thuse the audio media and song Lyric collection books developed are very feasible and practical to increase student’s motivation to learn history in high school.

Abstract

Program analisis keterampilan berpikir historis HT_AN (Historical Thinking Analysis), dikembangkan karena kebutuhan untuk terus memperbaiki dan memudahkan sistem penilaian keterampilan peserta didik dalam mempelajari sejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menghasilkan program analisis yang untuk menilai keterampilan berpikir historis mata pelajaran sejarah di sekolah dan 2) memperoleh bukti empiris terkait kelayakan program analisis untuk digunakan di lapangan. Penelitian ini mengadopsi model pengembangan Dick dan Carrey’s dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengembangan, terdiri dari 1) tahapan analisis instruksional, 2) menulis tujuan kinerja, 3) pengembangan produk, dan 4) validasi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa telah dihasilkan suatu program untuk menganalisis keterampilan berpikir historis mata pelajaran sejarah kelas X. Kegiatan pengembangan meliputi, a) analisis tujuan instruksional yang menghasilkan informasi untuk pembuatan tujuan kinerja, b) membuat tujuan kinerja yang berisi perencanaan bentuk program yang dikembangkan, c) pengembangan HT_AN berdasarkan kisi-kisi dan model dan e) validasi program HT_AN. Hasil validasi memperoleh hasil positif dengan skor rata-rata 4.29 dari aspek tampilan HT_AN dan 4,4 dari aspek teknis penggunaan HT_AN. Jadi, seca ra keseluruhan, program HT_AN telah layak untuk digunakan atau diujicobakan di lapangan.

Abstract

Thinking skills to identify changes in historical events is one part of historical thinking skills that must be possessed by students. One of the ways to improve change thinking skills is by using interactive media. Therefore, this study aims to (1) determine whether the use of Virtual Reality (VR) media can improve students' skills in identifying changes in historical events, (2) determine the feasibility and practicality of Virtual Reality (VR) media in improving students' skills in identifying changes in historical events, (3) knowing the effectiveness of using Virtual Reality (VR) in improving students' skills in identifying changes in historical events. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) using the Thiagarajan 4D development model consisting of 3 stages of development, namely defining, planning (design), and developing (develop). The results showed that (1) the feasibility of virtual reality media in general was in the very feasible category and was able to improve thinking skills in identifying changes in historical events, (2) the practicality of virtual reality media as a whole was in the very practical category. Abstract

There is a close relationship between the philosophy of science and the development of the scientific method. Philosophy of science is an integral part of the history of the development of science. Philosophy of science is inseparable from scientific rules relating to the scientific method used. The scientific method will produce scientific knowledge as well . There are four special methods used, namely the library method, the observation method, the interview method, and the observer participation method. The elements in the methodology of science are interpretation, induction and deduction, internal correlation, holistic, historical continuity, idealization, comparison, heuristics, analogical, and description. Meanwhile the composition of the scientific methodology includes problems, attitudes, using scientific methods, activities, conclusions, and influences. The steps for developing scientific methodologies consist of formulating problems, conducting library studies, formulating hypotheses, testing hypotheses, collecting data, interpreting data, making conclusions, and making scientific reports.

Abstract

AbstractThe Minangkabau community has a very strong traditional philosophy. This philosophy usually explains the way of life and how to socialize with other people. This then led to the emergence of a government system that is also unique to the Minangkabaum community, namely the Nagari government system that follows the Minangkabau traditional philosophy. This research will be conducted with the aim of being able to see how the implementation of the Nagari government in the Minangkabau community, as well as the various factors that influence it. The approach in this study will use a qualitative approach. The data used are obtained from various previous research results which are considered to still have relevance to this study. The results of this study found that there are 3 pillars in the nagari government called "Tigo Tungku Sajarangan Tali Tigo Sapilin". These three pillars are then supported by the Nagari Customary Density (KAN) and the Nagari Consultative Body (BPRN). In carrying out his life, many petitih petatahs are followed by the Minangkabau community. However, the most well-known petitih petatah is "adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah, syarak mangato, adat mamakai".Keywords: Nagari, Minangkabau, Customary Philosophy. AbstrakKomunitas Minangkabau memiliki falsafah adat yang sanga kuat. Falsafah ini biasanya menjelaskan mengenai jalan hidup serta bagaimana caranya bersosialisasi dengan masyarakat sesamanya. Hal ini kemudian menyebabkan munculnya sistem pemerintahan yang juga unik bagi komunitas Minangkabau, yaitu sistem pemerintahan Nagari yang mengikuti falsafah adat Minangkabau. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk dapat melihat bagaimana pelaksanaan dari pemerintahan Nagari di komunitas Minangkabau, serta berbagai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu yang dianggap masih memiliki relevansi dengan penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat adanya 3 pilar dalam pemerintahan nagari yang disebut dengan “Tigo Tungku Sajarangan Tali Tigo Sapilin”. Ketiga pilar ini kemudian didukung oleh Kerapatan Adat Nagari (KAN) dan Badan Permusyawaratan Nagari (BPRN). Dalam menjalankan hidupnya, banyak sekali petatah petitih yang diikuti oleh komunitas Minangkabau. Namun petatah petitih yang paling dikenal adalah “adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah, syarak mangato, adat mamakai”.Kata kunci: Nagari, Minangkabau, Falsafah Adat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai norma adat di suatu daerah yaitu norma sumbang 12 (duo baleh) terkhusus pada sumbang kato, sumbang pakai, sumbang bagaua dalam kehidupan generasi milenial di Minangkabau, metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk dapat melihat mengenai bagaimana sumbang 12 (duo baleh) terkhusus pada sumbang kato, sumbang pakai, sumbang bagaua dalam kehidupan generasi milenial di minangkabau. Data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini berasal dari berbagai hasil penelitian dan studi terdahulu yang masih memiliki relevansi dengan penelitian ini. Setelah data penelitian berhasil dikumpulkan oleh peneliti, maka selanjutnya data-data tersebut akan di olah, agar kemudian hasil dari penelitian ini dapat ditemukan. Adat memiliki aturan yang dimaksudkan untuk memberikan kebaikan pada masyarakat di minangkabau. Pada adat Minangkabau, adat banyak memberikan aturan yag didasarkan pada nilai-nilai keislaman. Seperti pada kasusnya menjaga kehormatan perempuan dengan larangan yang disebut sebagai sumbang 12(duo baleh). Dua belas prilaku sumbang yang harus dihindari oleh wanita Minangkabau tersebut adalah (1) sumbang duduak, (2) sumbang tagak, (3) sumbang bajalan, (4) sumbang kato, (5) sumbang caliak, (6) sumbang makan, (7) sumbang pakai, (8) sumbang karajo, (9) sumbang tanyo, (10) sumbang jawek, (11) sumbang bagaua, dan (12) sumbang kurenah. Dari 12 subang tadi ada 3 sumbang yang lebih dominan kita lihat di kalangan milenial saat sekarang ini terkhusus pada sumbang kato, sumbang pakai, sumbang bagaua. Tiga sumbang ini menjadi focus untuk melihat pola prilaku generasi milenial Minangkabau yang sudah mulai terpengaruhi oleh berbagai factor

Abstract

Filsafat merupakan usaha seseorang untuk mengetahui segala sesuatu yang berawal dari rasa ingin tahu dan sikap ragu. Rasa ingin tahu dan sikap ragu inilah yang kemudian memunculkan teori-teori ilmiah yang pada akhirnya akan berkembang menjadi sebuah ilmu pengetahuan yang dipelajari. Seiring dengan perkembangan pemikiran manusia, sampailah pada pemikiran bahwa satu-satunya sumber ilmu pengetahuan adalah alam yang realistis. Pengetahuan harus bersumber dari hal-hal faktual yang bersifat empiris. Aliran ini disebut dengan aliran filsafat positivisme. Praktek menyimpang dari etika administrasi masih sering terjadi. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkannya, di antaranya faktor eksternal, dan faktor internal, dari dalam diri seseorang. Hal-hal oleh aliran ini menarik bagi peneliti untuk mengkaji lebih lanjut bagaimana peran aliran filsafat positivisme terhadap etika administrasi publik sebagai upaya mengatasi mal administrasi publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat positivisme memiliki peran yang sangat besar terhadap perkembangan etika administrasi publik di zaman modern. Peran tersebut juga dirasakan oleh pemerintahan, misalnya perannya dalam perkembangan administrasi, pengambilan kebijakan dan jalannya pemerintahan yang baik
