Abstract

Through e-learning students are encouraged to learn from their homes individually and not in groups as in traditional learning where there are classes and study groups. This gives students the opportunity to organize their time according to their preferences as they attend individual online courses in their homes. They also have the freedom to choose the online courses that they find useful for them and their needs. This study aims to explore and examine the factors that influence the behavioral intention of students to use e-learning. The relationship between TAM variables and Innovation Diffusion Theory is integrated and explored to answer this goal. This research was conducted on 238 students of Muhammadiyah Metro University as active e-learning users. The findings show that of the 13 hypotheses developed, there are 4 that were rejected. It was found that there was no effect between Relative Advantage and Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Compatibility on Perceived Usefulness, Relative Advantage on Perceived Easy of Use, and between Perceived Easy of Use and Perceived Usefulness.

Abstract

The non-formal education of an education service that is not limited by age, time, gender, race (ethnicity, descent), economy, socio-cultural conditions, religion and so on, although formal education is an essential component of lifelong education, Informal education in the framework of lifelong educational services for the community is needed now and in the future. Herewith the Researcher uses analytic descriptive method with case study variation. Descriptive analytic method is a method of research that emphasizes the effort to obtain information about the status or symptoms at the time of the study, provide an overview of the phenomena, also further explain the relationship, and draw the meaning of a desired problem. The research in Learning centers al-Suroya in which there is Non Formal Education which is carried out especially Package B and Package C and others can fulfill a function in the effort to serve the needs of society outside the school system, the main target of non formal education and is needed by the community especially the people who want Continuing education, as well as developing the ability of interest and talent as well as training, in the hope that this program is implemented in accordance with the ability of the community despite many obstacles.

Abstract

Psychoeducation is the involvement of parents in children's education which can be done with mentoring, motivating and guiding in learning. This needs to be done because parents have an important role in shaping children's character in the family environment. However, the role of parents has not been done much by parents. In general, parents of students completely hand over their children's education to teachers in their respective schools. In addition, parents have the assumption that child development in education is the responsibility of teachers at school, not the responsibility of parents. Based on this phenomenon, it is necessary to carry out psychoeducational activities for parents on the importance of learning motivation for children. The method of the activity is carried out through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation of activities. The result of this activity is an increase in knowledge about the importance of psychoeducation in children's learning. In addition, the improvement of parents' skills in guiding, motivating and accompanying children while studying at home. Practically, parental involvement in children's education can increase achievement, increase motivation in learning and create an atmosphere of affection and parental attention to children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis pesantren di SMP Islam Darul Muttaqin Metro Lampung, serta mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan kepada siswa dan menganalisis faktor-faktor pendukung serta penghambat dalam proses implementasinya. Penelitian ini Menggunakan Metode Kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan, mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kualitatif diaplikasikan untuk memahami fenomena tersebut secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis pesantren efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai esensial seperti disiplin, kejujuran, kerjasama, dan tanggung jawab melalui metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan adaptif. Faktor pendukung utama termasuk komitmen kuat dari seluruh komponen sekolah, lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, serta kurikulum yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai pesantren. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan finansial, serta kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan siswa yang beragam, tetap ada. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adopsi model pendidikan karakter berbasis pesantren sebagai strategi efektif dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, dengan penekanan pada pentingnya inovasi dan adaptasi metode pendidikan karakter terhadap dinamika zaman dan tantangan global.

Abstract

Mitra pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah guru-guru Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) Aisyiyah se-PCA Hadimulyo, yaitu TK Aisyiyah Hadimulyo Barat dan Hadimulyo Timur, yang masih terkendala dalam membuat modul ajar tematik dan media gambar yang lebih praktis, cepat dan menarik. Oleh karena itu perlunya pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam membuat modul ajar dan media gambar tematik menggunakan canva. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah: Mitra memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan membuat modul ajar tematik dan media gambar menggunakan canva. yang dilakukan melalui: 1) Sosialisasi, bertujuan agar mitra memahami pentingnya menyusun modul ajar tematik dan media gambar menggunakan canva, 2) Pelatihan, guru diberikan materi dan praktek menyusun modul ajar tematik dan gambar menggunakan canva, bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan guru, 3) Pendampingan, dilakukan melalui pembimbingan kepada guru, 4) Evaluasi, untuk mengetahui apakah guru trampil menyusun modul ajar tematik dan gambar menggunakan canva, Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan angket, selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah: mitra memliki ketrampilan membuat modul ajar tematik dan media gambar menggunakan canva. Mitra merasa tertarik dan trampil menyusun modul ajar tematik dan membuat gambar dengan canva. Saran yang diberikan yaitu agar diberikan pelatihan bervariasi untuk meningkatkan inovasi guru.

Abstract

Malaysia was the most frequently chosen country by Indonesian Migrant Workers (IMW) in 2024. Education on the importance of financial management for IMW is crucial. This is because the majority of IMW lack adequate knowledge of financial management. Observations through various media sources concluded that many IMW still lack adequate knowledge and understanding of financial literacy. This education is delivered through training aimed at teaching IMW the importance of financial planning. The materials provided include budgeting, saving, using digital financial applications and online banking services to facilitate transactions and money transfers, and investing, which are essential for effective personal financial management. Management Science University (MSU) Malaysia is a popular destination for Indonesians seeking further education and employment in the formal sector. According to MSU, approximately 200 Indonesian students are currently studying at MSU, with approximately 25 formal migrant workers employed on campus as lecturers and staff and informal workers around Shah Alam. This community service activity is an international collaboration between the Management Science University (MSU) Malaysia Lecturers and the Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro Lecturers. The community service activity takes the form of financial planning training, which is expected to equip Indonesian migrant workers (IMW) working around the MSU campus in Shah Alam with the knowledge necessary for proper financial management. Providing training and reinforcement regarding financial management and digital banking services will be effective in improving the financial literacy of formal and informal IMW working at MSU Malaysia campus and its surroundings.The implementation method for this training consists of four stages: planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Abstract

This study investigates the influence of school principals’ leadership, grounded in the Javanese philosophy of Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, which, in English, at the front gives an example, and the school climate on the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Indonesia. The Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo philosophy emphasizes the role of leaders as role models who inspire and guide their subordinates. A positive and supportive school climate is likewise considered essential for fostering teacher development. Adopting a quantitative research design, this study involved 122 elementary school teachers selected through cluster sampling in Lampung Province, Indonesia. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study indicate that leadership grounded in Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo and a conducive school climate have a positive, statistically significant effect on improving teacher competency (p < 0.001). This result differs from most studies of educational leadership at the global level, which still focus on the dominance of Western leadership models and rarely integrate local cultural values as the primary basis for analysis. This study explicitly fills this gap by presenting a leadership model rooted in local wisdom. This study provides a new space for empirical testing of culture-based leadership to improve teacher competency. This area has so far been under-researched in the international literature. Theoretically, this study enriches the study of educational leadership by broadening the perspective of leadership models through the integration of non-Western cultural values. Practically and internationally, this study can provide important implications for policymakers and school administrators, especially in multicultural and developing countries, in designing leadership development programs and school governance that are contextual, globally relevant, and sensitive to local culture.
