Abstract

In the fashion retail industry, inventory management is a major challenge due to fluctuating and unpredictable customer demand. Errors in inventory planning may lead to overstocking or stockouts, increased storage costs, and decreased customer satisfaction. This study aims to develop a decision support system using the Sugeno fuzzy logic method to optimize clothing inventory. The input variables consist of initial stock, incoming goods, and outgoing goods, which are processed through fuzzification, inference, and defuzzification stages to produce the predicted final stock. Experimental results show that the Sugeno fuzzy model achieves better accuracy compared to conventional methods, with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 17.99%, equivalent to a prediction accuracy of 82.01%. The main contribution of this research lies in the application of the Sugeno fuzzy method to local fashion retail inventory management, which has generally been carried out manually. This approach enables the system to provide more precise stock recommendations, thereby helping stores reduce the risk of overstocking and stockouts, improve operational efficiency, and enhance business competitiveness.

Abstract

Employee attendance plays an important role in maintaining discipline and supporting work effectiveness. However, manual and fingerprint-based attendance systems still face several challenges, such as the possibility of proxy attendance, long queues during check-in hours, and difficulties in data recap. To address these issues, this study designs a web-based attendance information system equipped with GPS location validation and photo capture as proof of attendance. The research was conducted at PT XYZ using the Waterfall development method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies to formulate system requirements. The system design was modeled using Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams and activity diagrams, which illustrate the interaction flows between employees and administrators. The implementation results show that the system successfully validates attendance location, stores photos as visual evidence, and facilitates administrators in managing employee and location data. Testing using the Black Box method confirmed that all functions operated as expected. Thus, the system improves the validity of attendance data, reduces fraud, and supports administrative efficiency within the company.

Abstract

Abstrak:Prediksi penjualan yang akurat menjadi sangat penting bagi perusahaan untuk merancang strategi produksi dan pemasaran yang efektif. Dengan prediksi yang tepat, perusahaan dapat menyesuaikan kapasitas produksi, mengelola persediaan dengan optimal, dan menyusun strategi promosi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar. Dalam penelitian ini, metode Fuzzy Time Series diterapkan untuk memprediksi penjualan bulanan kulit pie, berdasarkan data historis penjualan yang tersedia. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan data penjualan bulanan, diikuti oleh pembentukan interval fuzzy yang mewakili berbagai kategori penjualan. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah fuzzifikasi, yaitu mengubah data asli ke bentuk fuzzy agar pola penjualan dapat teridentifikasi dalam tiap interval. Setelah itu, aturan fuzzy disusun untuk menentukan hubungan antara periode sebelumnya dan prediksi untuk periode berikutnya. Akhirnya, defuzzifikasi dilakukan untuk mengonversi data fuzzy kembali ke bentuk konkret. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, prediksi penjualan bulan berikutnya berada pada kelas fuzzy A4 dengan estimasi produksi sebesar 1400 unit dan nilai MAPE sebesar 20,42%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Fuzzy Time Series merupakan pendekatan yang andal dalam memodelkan data penjualan yang tidak stabil, serta menyediakan informasi berharga bagi manajemen dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan produksi dan perencanaan bisnis secara keseluruhan. Metode Fuzzy Time Series terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan beberapa metode prediksi lainnya, seperti metode regresi linier atau metode ARIMA, terutama dalam menghadapi data penjualan yang fluktuatif dan memiliki pola yang sulit diprediksi. Keunggulan metode ini terletak pada fleksibilitasnya dalam menangkap ketidakpastian dan variabilitas data, memungkinkan hasil prediksi yang lebih akurat dalam situasi di mana metode konvensional cenderung mengalami keterbatasan.===================================================Abstract:Accurate sales forecasting is crucial for companies to design effective production and marketing strategies. With precise predictions, companies can adjust production capacity, manage inventory optimally, and develop promotional strategies that align with market demands. In this study, the Fuzzy Time Series method was applied to forecast monthly pie crust sales, based on available historical sales data. The research process began with the collection of monthly sales data, followed by the creation of fuzzy intervals representing various sales categories. The next step was fuzzification, which converts the original data into a fuzzy form to identify sales patterns within each interval. Subsequently, fuzzy rules were formulated to determine the relationship between previous periods and predictions for the following period. Finally, defuzzification was carried out to convert the fuzzy data back into a concrete form. Based on the results of this study, the sales forecast for the next month falls within the fuzzy class A4, with an estimated production of 1,400 units and a MAPE value of 20.42%. These findings demonstrate that the Fuzzy Time Series method is a reliable approach for modeling unstable sales data and provides valuable information for management in supporting production decision-making and overall business planning. The Fuzzy Time Series method has proven to be more effective than other forecasting methods, such as linear regression or ARIMA, particularly when dealing with fluctuating sales data and patterns that are difficult to predict. This method's strength lies in its flexibility to capture uncertainty and data variability, allowing for more accurate forecasts in situations where conventional methods tend to face limitations.

Abstract

User acceptance is important in the software development process. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate a data warehouse model that can display all useful information that can support education management. The design results of this model will be evaluated using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which describes the acceptance of information technology with certain dimensions that may affect the acceptance or not of information technology by the user. Methods of data collection using questionnaires distribution techniques, interviews and observation. Abstract

Decision support system is a system that is able to solve problems efesian, effectively, which aims to help make decisions by choosing a variety of alternative decisions. With the software implemented hiring decision support system by using TOPSIS method to facilitate decision-making in SMA Al Washliyah Tanjung Morawa. The program used role in this system is Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 by using a MySQL database as the tools used for the testing process. The results of this program show that the progress of science and technology, each job can be more efficiently and effectively. Abstract

This study examines the development of a classification model for viral culinary content of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises on the TikTok platform based on video caption text. The main problem lies in the high variation of promotional language, the use of trending terms, and unstructured text formats, which make the identification of viral culinary categories difficult to perform manually and inconsistently. This study aims to design a systematic classification model to automatically and measurably group TikTok captions of enterprises into viral culinary categories. The dataset consists of 800 captions collected through scraping using the Apify API. The model development process includes preprocessing stages such as cleaning, case folding, tokenizing, normalization, stopword removal, stemming, and detokenization to produce standardized text. Feature weighting is then performed using TF-IDF, followed by model construction using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The resulting model classifies data into ten viral culinary categories, namely Donat Mochi, Cireng, Risol, Kentang Curly, Lukchup, Dimsum Mentai, Es Teh Jumbo, Indomie Telur, Mochi Daifuku, and Dessert Box. Evaluation using a confusion matrix and classification report shows an accuracy of 0.74 or 74 percent. These results indicate the model supports automated analysis of viral culinary trends.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze mental health expressions in Indonesian-language YouTube comments using a text mining approach and the K-Means clustering algorithm. The increasing use of social media as a platform for expressing psychological conditions has resulted in large volumes of unstructured textual data that are difficult to analyze manually. Therefore, this study applies text preprocessing techniques, including case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming, followed by Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) weighting to transform textual data into numerical representations. The clustering process is performed using the K-Means algorithm, and the optimal number of clusters is determined using the Elbow Method and Silhouette Coefficient. The results show that the optimal number of clusters is k = 3, with the highest Silhouette Coefficient value indicating good cluster quality. A total of 2,411 YouTube comments were successfully grouped into three clusters, representing different types of mental health expressions, namely complaint expressions, personal experience narratives, and general responses. This study contributes by providing a social media comment clustering model to analyze mental health expressions in the Indonesian digital context. The results demonstrate that the K-Means algorithm can effectively identify meaningful patterns in large-scale textual data without requiring labeled datasets, making it useful for supporting data-driven mental health analysis.

Abstract

Health services are closely related to queuing processes that directly affect service efficiency and patient comfort. At Julok Public Health Center, the queuing system is still conducted manually, resulting in long waiting times, overcrowding, and reduced service quality. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based queue information system using the Multi Channel–Single Phase model to improve the efficiency and quality of public health services. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall-based system development approach. The results indicate that the implemented system supports online registration, real-time queue monitoring, and queue data management, which contribute to reducing patient waiting time, improving service efficiency, and enhancing patient convenience. Therefore, the developed system provides a positive contribution to improving the quality of primary healthcare services.

Abstract

Air pollution is one of the major environmental problems in urban areas, including Medan City, Indonesia. The Air Pollution Standard Index (Indeks Standar Pencemar Udara / ISPU) data provided by the Environmental Agency is often difficult for the public to interpret due to its numerical format. This study aims to analyze and classify air quality using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm and present the results through data visualization. The dataset used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Environmental Agency of Medan City, including pollutant parameters such as PM10, PM2.5, SO₂, NO₂, CO, O₃, and HC. The research method follows a quantitative descriptive approach, including data preprocessing, ISPU calculation based on government regulations, classification using SVM, and visualization using graphical methods such as line charts, bar charts, and heatmaps. The results indicate that SVM is effective in classifying air quality categories into Good, Moderate, Unhealthy, Very Unhealthy, and Hazardous. Additionally, visualization techniques improve the interpretability of air quality data, making it easier for stakeholders and the public to understand environmental conditions. This study contributes to decision support systems for environmental monitoring and public awareness.

Abstract

LinkedIn menjadi salah satu platform utama dalam publikasi lowongan kerja, namun banyak lowongan bidang Teknologi Informasi (IT) memiliki ketidaksesuaian antara judul jabatan dan isi deskripsi pekerjaan sehingga menyulitkan pencari kerja dalam memahami kebutuhan kompetensi secara akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan bidang pekerjaan IT pada LinkedIn serta memvalidasi konsistensi label jabatan berdasarkan kesamaan deskripsi pekerjaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui proses web scraping menggunakan Selenium dengan total 417 data pada lima kategori, yaitu Frontend Developer, Backend Developer, Data Analyst, Cloud Engineer, dan UI/UX Designer. Tahapan pengolahan data dilakukan melalui preprocessing teks meliputi case lipat, tokenizing, stopword removal, dan stemming. Selanjutnya, fitur teks dibentuk menggunakan pembobotan TF-IDF dan tingkat kemiripan antar dokumen dihitung menggunakan metode cosine kesamaan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dari 417 data lowongan, sebanyak 393 data (94,24%) teridentifikasi valid karena label judul jabatan sesuai dengan deskripsi pekerjaan yang paling mirip, sedangkan 24 data (5,76%) terindikasi tidak valid. Setelah validasi, kategori dengan jumlah lowongan terbanyak adalah Cloud Engineer sebesar 155 data (39,44%), diikuti Data Analyst sebesar 107 data (27,23%), UI/UX Designer sebesar 57 data (14,50%), Frontend Developer sebesar 54 data (13,74%), dan Backend Developer sebesar 20 data (5,09%). Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa pendekatan berbasis kesamaan teks untuk membantu validasi klasifikasi TI lowongan sehingga informasi kebutuhan kompetensi pada lowongan kerja dapat lebih konsisten dan mudah dianalisis.
