Abstract

Literasi yaitu keterampilan individu memahami informasi untuk menyelesaikan masalah dengan membaca dan menulis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui cara meningkatkan literasi siswa SD N 3 Pengkolrejo.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tempat penelitiannya yaitu SD N 3 Pengkolrejo. Subyek penelitiannya yaitu siswa kelas 5 SD N 3 Pengkolrejo. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil literasi post test AKM di kelas 5 SD N 3 Pengkolrejo adalah 63. Peningkatan hasil post test AKM ada 4 poin dari hasil pre test AKM. Salah satu cara meningkatkan literasi dengan diadakan pojok baca pada setiap kelas. Selain itu siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca dan menulis juga dapat memanfaatkan pojok baca.Kata Kunci: Literasi, pojok baca

Abstract

Increased livestock products challenge farmers to make animal feed more efficient. The utilization of onggok as a by-product of tapioca processing that is rich in energy and chicory as a protein source forage that is ensiled with additional additives aims to improve each other's nutrient quality. This study was conducted to evaluate the results of the material mixture by observing its physical quality, including color, texture, aroma, presence of fungi, and pH value. A completely randomized design was conducted with 6 different treatments, consisting of different ratios of basic material mixtures and the addition of additives such as EM4 and tannin. The results showed that the ratio of chicory and onggok in silage had a significant effect on the color and texture of silage, but had no significant effect on the aroma and the presence of fungi. The addition of additives also significantly affects the color of silage due to the use of EM4, and has an insignificant effect on silage pH due to the addition of tannins which affect the activity of lactic acid bacteria.

Abstract

Personal Approach as an alternative to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This approach works through the internalization of universal Islamic values, strengthening the spiritual dimension of students, examples of good behavior from teachers, and open two-way communication. This study aims to understand the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the application of the Personal Approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach to examine SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto which is located in Banyumas Regency. Participants in this study were PAI Teachers, Principals, and Students at the school. The results of the study on the Personal Approach in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto identified three stages in its implementation: 1) Planning Stage, the school holds a preparatory workshop before the new school year begins 2) Implementation Stage, teachers approach students who are having difficulties one by one and then help solve the problems 3) Evaluation Stage, there are advantages and disadvantages in this approach and teachers handle it by holding remedial or providing learning outside the classroom to students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of a problem-based learning model supported by educational animation videos on students' learning outcomes. The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study consists of seventh-grade students, with class VII-C serving as the control group and class VII-D as the experimental group, each consisting of 31 students. The results of the study indicate that the problem-based learning model assisted by educational animation videos yields better results than direct learning, as evidenced by the average scores increasing from 62.081 to 84.613 in the experimental class, while the control class improved from 63.048 to 79.452. Hypothesis testing using the t-test also supports this finding, with a t-table value of 2.00 at a 5% significance level, while the calculated t-value is 2.669. Therefore, since the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table value (2.669 > 2.00), it can be concluded that there is an effect of the problem-based learning model assisted by educational animation videos on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Grade 3 students at SD N 2 Kedungwaru still have difficulty understanding length measurement material. The purpose of this study was to determine students' understanding of the length measurement material with smart ladders. The subjects of this study were 17 students in class III. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Methods of data collection using interviews, tests and documentation. While the analysis used by using the percentage (%). With a KKM score of 75, the score above the KKM is 13 students with a percentage of 76.47%. Based on the results of interviews with students who have scores above the KKM, they say that learning with visual aids is more fun and can be practiced directly so that the material obtained is easier to understand and remember. And there are 4 students whose grades are below the KKM. Students whose grades are still below the KKM because students are still confused about whether the question is multiplied or divided up the ladder up or divided or vice versa whether the descending ladder is multiplied or divided. Learning mathematics in measurement material can use smart board teaching aids and these teaching aids can help elementary school students understand measurement material. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan dan korelasi besaran ukuran tubuh dan status fisiologis kambing Jawarandu jantan dan betina yang dipelihara di wilayah pesisir Pangandaran, Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 9 ekor kambing, terdiri dari 5 jantan dan 4 betina, menggunakan metode survei dengan pengukuran langsung selama 3 hari berturut-turut. Parameter yang diamati meliputi ukuran tubuh yang terdiri atas bobot badan, panjang badan, tinggi pundak dan lingkar dada, serta status fisiologis yaitu suhu rektal, laju respirasi, denyut jantung, dan denyut nadi. Selain itu, pengukuran temperature humidity index (THI) dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh kondisi lingkungan terhadap respons fisiologis kambing. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kambing jantan memiliki ukuran tubuh yang secara signifikan lebih besar dibandingkan kambing betina (P<0,05), menunjukkan adanya dimorfisme seksual. Sementara itu, perbedaan status fisiologis antara jenis kelamin tidak signifikan, namun beberapa parameter fisiologis menunjukkan korelasi positif dengan nilai THI dengan rataan sebesar 79 (zona stres berat). Laju respirasi pada ternak jantan ditemukan berkorelasi signifikan dengan nilai THI (P<0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan pesisir berperan dalam respons fisiologis kambing, dan perlu menjadi pertimbangan dalam manajemen pemeliharaan untuk mendukung adaptasi dan kesejahteraan ternak.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of creative character cultivation in grade IV students through Creative Week activities at MI Al-Hidayah Karanggintung, Banyumas Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of creative character cultivation is carried out through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage includes the preparation of thematic activities such as Market Day, Cooking Day, Fun Day, and Cleaning Day which are designed to provide space for students to develop their creativity. In the implementation stage, students are given the freedom to express their ideas according to their interests and talents, with support from the teacher as a facilitator. Meanwhile, at the evaluation stage, teachers and students together reflect on activities for future improvement. This research has succeeded in revealing that Creative Week activities can effectively be a medium in instilling creative character in students. This can be seen from the students' enthusiasm, increased confidence, and students' ability to produce original works. In addition, this activity also encourages the creation of a fun and meaningful learning climate. Therefore, this study recommends that this kind of activity be developed in a sustainable manner by involving all elements of the school and parents in its implementation.

Abstract

Breeding, feeding and management are important components of the success of a livestock business. Feeding, especially in providing feed with good quantity, quality and continuity, is one of the biggest inputs and challenges in livestock business. Until now, providing feed, especially forage, is still a big challenge in ruminant livestock farming. Mulato grass is a potential alternative forage source because it has good quality, is drought resistant, has high biomass, and is popular with livestock. This community activity (PKM) aims to announce hybrid mulato grass to breeders as a potential forage alternative for ruminants. The object or target in this community service activity is the Bakti Mekar Jaya Forest Farmers Group. The counseling method was used in this activity. The stages of implementing activities consisted of the preparation stage, assessment stage (pre-test), counseling stage and evaluation stage (post test). The results achieved in this extension activity provide benefits for livestock, including: (1) obtaining alternative sources of forage for the livestock being kept; (2) minimizing the risk of a shortage of forage during the dry season; (3) gain knowledge about cultivating hybrid mulato grass. The continued phase of this PPM activity involves observing the development of Mulato hybrid grass to serve as a supplementary feed source.

Abstract

Pemenuhan kebutuhan nutrisi merupakan faktor yang berperan penting untuk mengoptimalkan produktivitas ternak. Kecukupan nutrisi ternak sangat ditentukan tidak hanya dari faktor fisiologis ternak namun juga ditentukan dari kandungan nutrien yang terkandung dalam bahan pakan yang akan diberikan.  Pemberian pakan perlu memperhatikan kuantitas dan kualitas hijauan dan konsentrat, serta kandungan nutrisi yang dibutuhkan untuk kebutuhan pokok sapi perah. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan, perkembangan, dan produktivitas ternak sapi perah. Peningkatan produksi susu di KPSBU Lembang dapat mendukung keberlanjutan industrialisasi dalam bidang susu khususnya di Jawa Barat. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Tim Dosen dan mahasiswa Sarjana Program Studi Ilmu Peternakan Universitas Padjadjaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengetahuan anggota peternak dalam manajemen pakan. Upaya penguatan dilakukan dengan metode Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), di mana metode ini sebagai bentuk upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan berupa pendidikan yang bertujuan memperkuat pengetahuan peternak KPSBU Lembang terkait kebutuhan nutrisi yang diperlukan oleh sapi perah agar meningkatkan produktivitas susu. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan Kelompok Ternak Putra Mekar di daerah Bukanagara dan Kelompok Ternak Bina Mekar di daerah Gunung Putri Lembang. Metode PLA yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini berupa presentasi, diskusim dan tanya jawab. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap penjajakan dan identifikasi masalah, serta tahap pelaksanaan pengabdian. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi peternak untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan lebih mengenai kebutuhan nutrisi sapi perah.Fulfilment of nutritional needs is a factor that plays an important role in optimizing livestock productivity. Adequate livestock nutrition is determined not only by the physiological factors of the livestock but also by the nutrient content contained in the feed ingredients that will be given. Feeding needs to pay attention to the quantity and quality of green fodder and concentrate, as well as the nutritional content needed for the basic needs of dairy cattle. This can increase the growth, development, and productivity of dairy cattle. Increasing milk production at KPSBU Lembang can support the sustainability of industrialization in the dairy sector, especially in West Java. This activity is a form of community service carried out by the Lecturer Team and undergraduate students of the Animal Science Study Program at Universitas Padjadjaran which aims to improve the knowledge of livestock members in feed management. Strengthening efforts are carried out using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method, where this method is a form of community empowerment efforts. The activities carried out are in the form of education aimed at strengthening the knowledge of KPSBU Lembang livestock farmers regarding the nutritional needs required by dairy cows to increase milk productivity. This activity was carried out with the Putra Mekar Livestock Group in the Bukanagara area and the Bina Mekar Livestock Group in the Gunung Putri Lembang area. The method used in this activity is a questionnaire interview. The stages of the activity consist of the preparation stage, the exploration and identification of problems stage, and the implementation of the service stage. The results achieved in this service activity can provide benefits for farmers to gain more knowledge about the nutritional needs of dairy cows.
