Abstract

ABSTRACT This community service activity aims to enhance students’ understanding of mathematical function graphs through the utilization of the Desmos application. The background of this program lies in the limited use of digital media in mathematics learning, which often causes difficulties for students in visualizing abstract concepts. The activity was carried out at SMAN 1 Balen Bojonegoro on November 27, 2025, involving 34 students and mathematics teachers. The implementation method included preparation, observation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Participants were introduced to the features of Desmos and practiced creating function graphs interactively. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding with an average N-Gain score of 0.41 (moderate category). Teachers also gained new insights into integrating technology into teaching. Overall, the training fostered more engaging and effective mathematics learning and strengthened the collaboration between IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro and SMAN 1 Balen. Keywords: Desmos, mathematics learning, function graphs, digital media, training   ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap grafik fungsi matematika melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi Desmos. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih rendahnya penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran matematika yang menyebabkan siswa kesulitan memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Balen Bojonegoro pada 27 November 2025 dengan melibatkan 34 siswa dan guru matematika. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, observasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Peserta diperkenalkan fitur-fitur Desmos dan berlatih menggambar grafik fungsi secara interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain 0,41 (kategori sedang). Guru memperoleh wawasan baru mengenai integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini menjadikan pembelajaran matematika lebih menarik, efektif, dan memperkuat kerja sama antara IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro dan SMAN 1 Balen. Abstract

As institutions adapt to the "new normal" era, educators are challenged to design learning experiences that remain engaging, effective, and accessible. To respond to this need, the VAKSIN (Video Animation for Online Learning Systems) approach was developed as part of a blended learning model. This study aimed to determine whether blended learning using VAKSIN in Moodle is more effective than the online learning model in improving student problem solving. The study employed a posttest-only control design on students' bisectors in a geometry course. A saturated sampling technique was used to select all population members as samples. There are 80 subjects and data collection methods, including documentation and testing. Final semester testscores are used to test the sample class's normality, homogeneity, and balance before being subjected to treatment. Hypothesis testing was conducted using a t-test. The results of the data analysis revealed that the t-value for the experimental and control groups was tcount = 3.191084707 and ttable = 1.99084707. Since tcount > ttable, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that blended learning using VAKSINN is effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities in learning mathematics on the geometry of lines and angles.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuannya (1) untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning togerther menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran langsung, (2) untuk mengetahui kecerdasan majemuk manakah yang menghasilkan prestasi  belajar matematika yang lebih baik linguistik, matematis logis, atau interpersonal, (3) untuk mengetahui pada model pembelajaran langsung, kecerdasan majemuk manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik linguistik, matematis logis atau interpersonal, (4) untuk mengetahui pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together, kecerdasan majemuk manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik linguistik, matematis logis atau interpersonal, (5) untuk mengetahui pada tipe kecerdasan linguistik, manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together atau model pembelajaran langsung, (6) untuk mengetahui pada tipe kecerdasan matematis logis, manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together atau model pembelajaran langsung, (7) untuk mengetahui pada tipe kecerdasan interpersonal, manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together atau model pembelajaran langsung.Populasinya siswa VIII semester genap SMP Kartayuda Kedungtuban sebanyak 5 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dengan cluster random sampling. Sampelnya adalah kelas A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis datanya adalah uji ANAVA dua jalan sel tak sama dan uji scheffe.Kesimpulannya: (1) model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together memberikan prestasi belajar matematika lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran langsung, (2) kecerdasan linguistik, matematis logis dan interpersonal memberikan prestasi belajar matematika sama, (3) pada model pembelajaran langsung, kecerdasan linguistik, matematis logis dan interpersonal memberikan hasil belajar matematika sama baiknya, (4) pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together, kecerdasan linguistik, matematis logis dan interpersonal memberikan prestasi belajar matematika sama, (5) pada tipe kecerdasan linguistik, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together dan model pembelajaran langsung memberikan prestasi belajar matematika sama, (6) pada tipe kecerdasan matematis logis, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together dan model pembelajaran langsung memberikan prestasi belajar matematika sama, (7) pada tipe kecerdasan interpersonal, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together dan model pembelajaran langsung memberikan prestasi belajar matematika sama. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Learning Together; Prestasi Belajar Matematika; Kecerdasan Majemuk. Abstract: The objectives of this research are: (1) to know which learning model give better learning achievement of mathematics, student with direct learning model or cooperative model of Learning Together, (2) to know which multiple intelligences can produce better mathematics learning achievement of linguistic, mathematical logical, or interpersonal, (3) to knowing in the direct learning model, which plural intelligence can provide better linguistic, logic mathematical or interpersonal, (4) to know on cooperative learning model type learning together, which multiple intelligences can provide better linguistic, logic mathematical or interpersonal, (5) to know the type of linguistic intelligence, which can provide better learning achievemen to mathematics, cooperative learning model type learning together or direct learning, (6) to know the logical type of mathematical intelligence, which can provide better learning achievement of mathematics, cooperative learning model type learning together or direct learning, (7) to know the type of interpersonal intelligence, which can provide better mathematics learning achievement, cooperative learning model type learning together or direct learning.The population in this study are students of class VIII SMP Kartayuda Kedungtuban Blora 5 classes. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Selected 2 sample classes, namely class VIII A as experimental class  and class VIII D as control class. The data analysis used is ANOVA test of two different cell path and scheffe test. The results showed that: (1) cooperative learning model of learning together type can give better the achievement of learning  mathematics, (2) linguistic, logical and interpersonal intelligence give as same as the achievement of learning mathematics, (3) on direct learning models, linguistic intelligence, logical and interpersonal mathematics give as same as the achievement of learning  mathematics, (4) in cooperative learning model of learning together type, linguistic intelligence, logical and interpersonal mathematics give as same as the achievement of learning  mathematics, (5) on linguistic intelligence type, cooperative learning model type learning together and direct learning model gives the same mathematics learning achievement, (6) in logical mathematical type, cooperative learning model of learning together type and direct learning model gives the same mathematics learning achievement, (7) on the type of intelligence Interpersonal, cooperative learning model type learning together and direct learning model gives the same mathematics learning achievement. Keywords: Cooperative Learning Type Learning Together; Achievement of Mathematics Learning, Multiple Intelligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik mahasiswa tingkat II Semester 4 Pada Mata Kuliah Persamaan Differensial dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Active Knowledge Sharing di IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 26 orang mahasiswa.. Siklus pertama dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga pertemuan dan siklus ke-2 sebanyak tiga pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan, wawancara. Dokumentsi dari data hasil tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik. Observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik digunakan untuk mengetahui capaian masiswa pada setiap siklus, dan Wawancara diberikan kepada mahasiswa tertentu yang isinya berupa tanggapan serta respon terhadap pembelajaran pesamaan differensial dengan model pembelajaran Active Knowledge Sharing. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata mahasiswa tingkat II semester 4 pada tes siklus pertama adalah 66,35 dan pada tes siklus ke-2 sebesar 87,31. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus II pembelajaran dengan menerapkan Active Knowledge Sharing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik mahasiswa.

Abstract

The learning model prepared for the 21st century is STEAM. In particular, the numerical method topic of the bisection method is taught using the STEAM learning model with the help of MS Excel. The problem in this study is whether the STEAM learning model can help students solve bisection method problems. The aim of this study is to determine whether the STEAM learning model can assist students in solving bisection method problems. This is a quantitative study with a population of all students taking the numerical methods course. The sample consists of semester 6 students from classes A and B, and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The prerequisite tests conducted are normality and homogeneity tests. The analysis technique used is the t-test, with the results showing t_calculated = 2.107 and t_table = 2.074. The null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, indicating that STEAM and conventional learning models have different effects. Furthermore, based on the average scores of both classes, the STEAM learning model has a more significant effect than the conventional method. In conclusion, the STEAM learning model with the help of MS Excel can assist students in solving numerical method problems.

Abstract

The results of observations and interviews at elementary school showed that Indonesian history material was considered material that was difficult for students to accept and understand. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of video based learning on cognitive learning outcomes of Indonesian history material in elementary schools. This research method is an experiment. The form of the experimental design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group type. Data analysis was carried out through tests for normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The first hypothesis test, namely the paired sample t-test, shows that there is an influence seen from Lower and Upper which is negative, namely Upper is -18.270 and Lower is -27.312. Sig. Value (2-tailed) shows the number 0.000 which means <0.05. The second hypothesis test, namely the independent sample t-test, shows that there is a difference seen from Lower and Upper which is negative, namely Lower is -13.651 and Upper is -3.109. Sig. Value (2-tailed) shows the number 0.002 which means <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It was concluded that the video based learning had an effect on the cognitive learning outcomes of Indonesian historical material at SDN 02 Temulus. Videos based learning can be used as an alternate learning resource in elementary schools to help students comprehend Indonesian history.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan lagu sebagai ice breaking dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila Kelas II SD Negeri 2 Karangsari Purbalingga. Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya partisipasi siswa yang disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran konvensional yang monoton, membuat siswa merasa jenuh dan tegang. Hal ini tercermin ketika pembelajaran berlangsung konsentrasi siswa mulai menurun setelah sekitar 10–15 menit pertama pembelajaran, sehingga pemahaman terhadap materi menjadi kurang optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain One group pretest-posttest merupakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan pre-test (tes sebelum perlakuan) dan post-test (tes setelah perlakuan) dalam satu kelompok. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada partisipasi siswa setelah perlakuan, dengan rata-rata skor Posttest lebih tinggi dan menghasilkan selisih rata-rata (Mean Difference) sebesar -9,45833. Uji signifikansi menghasilkan nilai 0,000 (lebih kecil dari 0,05), yang membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan, serta skor N-Gain sebesar 0,43 (43%) yang dikategorikan efektiv. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan lagu sebagai ice breaking terbukti efektiv dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an educational resource in the form of an electronic student worksheet (E-LKPD) supported by a flipbook and based on the Discovery Learning model, to improve students’ learning outcomes on the topic of plane figures at SMP Negeri 1 Rengel. The background to this research stems from the low mathematics achievement among students, attributed to limited interest in learning and the lack of interactive teaching media suited to students’ needs. The study adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), although it is implemented only up to the development stage. The instruments employed include expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The findings reveal that the developed E-LKPD falls into the categories of valid, practical, and effective for classroom use. The use of this flipbook-assisted E-LKPD based on Discovery Learning has been shown to significantly enhance students’ engagement, independence, and learning outcomes. Therefore, this teaching medium is considered suitable to be used as an alternative instructional resource in mathematics learning, contributing to the improvement of educational quality.

Abstract

Abstrak: — Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan menjadi semakin penting di era teknologi saat ini untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan efektivitas siswa. Artikel ini membahas manfaat dan keunggulan aplikasi Canva sebagai alat pembelajaran matematika. Canva adalah alat desain grafis yang mudah digunakan berbasis web yang memungkinkan guru membuat materi ajar yang menarik dan profesional. Canva memiliki fitur yang membuat visualisasi konsep matematika yang kompleks lebih mudah dipahami oleh siswa dengan template, elemen visual, dan antarmuka yang intuitif. Oleh karena itu, Canva adalah alat yang sangat efektif untuk membuat media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik yang mendukung guru dalam upaya mereka untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Artikel ini memberikan panduan praktis dan wawasan tentang cara menggunakan Canva dalam pembelajaran matematika dan mendorong adopsi teknologi dalam pendidikan. Canva has features that make visualizing complex mathematical concepts easier for students to understand with templates, visual elements, and an imaginative interface. Therefore, Canva is a highly effective tool for creating innovative and engaging learning media that supports teachers in their efforts to improve the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstrak: Sangat penting untuk mengenalkan matematika kepada anak Sekolah Dasar sejak dini. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin memperluas pengetahuan siswa tentang FPB dan KPK, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan pembelajaran FPB dan KPK. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari buku serta jurnal nasional dan internasional, dengan jenis penelitian menggunakan metode SLR. Teknik simak, catat, dan libat digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, dan teknik triangulasi sumber digunakan untuk validasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa cara mencari FPB dan KPK dapat dilakukan dengan metode, pemfaktoran dan metode euklides. Kesimpulannya terdapat dua metode untuk mencari FPB dan KPK. Kata kunci: matematika, FPB & KPK, sekolah dasar Abstract: It is very important to introduce math to elementary school children from an early age. The purpose of this research is to expand students’ knowledge of FPB and KPK, so as to improve students’ ability to solve FPB and KPK learning. The data used is secondary data from books and national and international journals, with the type of research using the SLR method. Listening, noting, and engaging techniques were used to collect data, and source triangulation techniques were used for data validation. The result of this research is that how to find FPB and KPK can be done by the method, factoring and the Euclides method. The conclusion is that there are two methods for finding FPB and KPK.
