Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of daily religious practices—such as congregational prayer, Quranic recitation, and dhikr—in fostering Islamic character. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The results indicate that consistently implemented religious routines, supported by teacher role models and parental involvement, play a significant role in fostering religiosity, responsibility, empathy, and discipline in students. However, several obstacles remain, such as limited parental participation and varying levels of religious understanding among students. In conclusion, this study confirms that religious habituation is an effective instrument in Islamic character education, requiring synergy between the madrasah, family, and community.   Keywords: Akhlakul Karimah, Religious Habits, Teacher Role, madrasah, Islamic Character

Abstract

Interactive serve duel game training in badminton at SMPN Gollek No 34 Kepulauan Selayar was designed to develop students' basic technical competencies in mastering backhand serve and improve accuracy and confidence in playing badminton. This program provides opportunities for students to understand the fundamental principles of backhand serve, recognize variations in short and long serve techniques, learn strategies for applying serves in game situations, and develop hand-eye coordination and stroke consistency. Through structured training with an interactive duel-based game approach, it is expected that students can improve backhand serve technique abilities, develop tactical decision-making skills, increase shuttlecock placement accuracy, and foster competitive spirit and sportsmanship in the school environment.

Abstract

Allergic rhinitis (AR) is an inflammatory process of the nasal mucosa initiated by a hypersensitivity reaction and caused by exposure to allergens mediated by immunoglobulin E (IgE), with several characteristic symptoms including: nasal congestion, a runny nose or watery nasal discharge (rhinorrhea), nasal itching, sneezing, and postnasal drip (PND). According to the World Health Organization’s Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma (WHO-ARIA) guidelines, based on the duration of symptoms, allergic rhinitis is classified into two categories: intermittent allergic rhinitis (symptoms lasting less than 4 days per week or for less than 4 weeks) and persistent allergic rhinitis (symptoms lasting more than 4 days per week and for more than 4 weeks). The prevalence of allergic rhinitis based on a doctor’s diagnosis is approximately 15%; however, it is estimated to reach 30% when considering patients with nasal symptoms. Appropriate management of allergic rhinitis, in addition to alleviating symptoms, is also expected to improve the quality of life of patients whose lives have been disrupted by the condition, as the higher the severity and frequency of allergic rhinitis symptoms, the greater the impact on reduced quality of life.

Abstract

Crackers are one of the biscuit are made through a fermentation process with yeast, thin in shape, salty taste, crunchy texture, and if broken the cross-section of the pieces is layered. The main ingredient of crackers is flour. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of varying concentrations of native and HMT modification of breadfruit flour on the physicochemical and organoleptic composition of crackers and to obtain the selected concentrations. This research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design with six treatments and three replications. The treatment for this study were SK1 (50% native breadfruit flour), SK2 (75% native breadfruit flour), SK3 (75% native breadfruit flour), SK4 (50% modified breadfruit flour), SK5 (75% modified breadfruit flour), and SK6 (100% modified breadfruit flour). Flour physical test data were analyzed using the T-test, while the physical test data of crackers and organoleptic assessment were ANOVA and continued with duncan's multiple range test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that the percentage of native breadfruit flour and modified breadfruit flour had a significant effect on bake loss, crispness, and sensory assessment. The best treatment in this study was SK4 with bake loss value of 18.27 g, crispness of 2.13kgF, moisture content of 7.42%, ash 2.76%, protein 7.85%, fat 13.40%, carbohydrate 68.57%, and fiber 3.05%. Hedonic sensory assessment with color score 4.06 (like), aroma 3.71 (like), taste 3.74 (like), crispness 3.78 (like), and overall assessment 3.79 (like).

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Pidie dalammelestarikan nilai sejarah tradisi Geudeu-Geudeu sertamengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi. Tradisi Geudeu-Geudeu sebagai seni bela diri khas Pidie kini terancam punahakibat minimnya dokumentasi dan kurangnya minat generasimuda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatifdeskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan memiliki peran strategis, antaralain melalui pengusulan Geudeu-Geudeu sebagai WarisanBudaya Takbenda (WBTB) yang diresmikan pada 15 Mei 2024. Selain itu, kegiatan seperti Festival Permainan Rakyat yang melibatkan siswa sekolah dasar menjadi upaya promosi dan edukasi budaya. Namun, tantangan seperti rendahnya partisipasigenerasi muda, kurangnya integrasi dalam kurikulum, sertalemahnya sinergi antarinstansi masih menghambat pelestariandan pewarisan tradisi ini. Kata kunci: Geudeu-Geudeu; Pelestarian budaya; WarisanBudaya Takbenda (WBTB)

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam tradisi perkawinan Seulangke, mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam mempertahankan tradisi tersebut di tengah arus modernisasi dan globalisasi, serta menggali persepsi Generasi Z di Desa Puuk, Kecamatan Kembang Tanjong, Kabupaten Pidie terhadap nilai-nilai tradisi Seulangke. Tradisi Seulangke merupakan bagian dari adat perkawinan masyarakat Aceh yang memiliki nilai sosial, agama, dan budaya yang tinggi, di mana seorang Seulangke bertindak sebagai perantara dalam proses perjodohan dan lamaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Seulangke tidak hanya memiliki fungsi sosial sebagai penghubung dua keluarga, tetapi juga mengandung nilai-nilai agama dalam menjaga etika pergaulan serta menjadi sarana pelestarian budaya lokal. Namun, tradisi ini menghadapi tantangan serius akibat perubahan gaya hidup, melemahnya regenerasi tokoh adat, dan melemahnya pemahaman generasi muda terhadap nilai-nilai budaya. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat peluang pelestarian melalui lembaga adat dan pendidikan informal. Persepsi Generasi Z terhadap Seulangke terbagi: pelajar cenderung memahami dan menghargai tradisi ini, sedangkan pelajar SMA memandangnya sebagai sesuatu yang kuno dan tidak praktis. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan edukatif dan adaptif diperlukan agar tradisi Seulangke tetap hidup dan relevan di masa kini.

Abstract

Batteries are used as energy storage devices due to their high energy and power density. Battery cells are typically connected in series to achieve higher voltage and power capacity. However, differences in chemical and electrical characteristics of each cell can lead to voltage imbalance after repeated charge-discharge cycles. This condition ultimately reduces the total capacity of lithium-ion batteries and shortens their lifespan. This study introduces an efficient and high-performance cell balancing mechanism specifically designed for series-connected batteries. To optimize the balancing process and ensure voltage uniformity across the cells, an intelligent Fuzzy Logic Kontroler is integrated to control the balancing circuit. Simulation results show that the use of intelligent control can achieve battery voltage balance within 60 seconds.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the key factors influencing the interest of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang Barat in pursuing further studies in the Technology and Vocational Education program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Nusa Cendana University. The study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The population consists of all 38 Grade XII students, selected using a random sampling technique. Data collection methods included questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The research instrument utilized a Likert scale comprising 30 statement items. Validity testing confirmed that all items were valid, with calculated r-values exceeding the r-table values. Reliability testing yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.993, indicating the instrument was reliable. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics via SPSS version 25. The results indicate that student motivation, parental support, family economic conditions, the school environment, and information regarding higher education all fall into the "high" category regarding their influence on students' interest in continuing their studies. The motivation factor recorded the highest mean score (18.13), followed by family economic conditions (18.00), the school environment (17.71), and both parental support and higher education information (17.39 each). Thus, both internal and external factors collectively contribute to students' interest in pursuing higher education.
