Abstract

The goal of this reseach is describe widely how the strategy and evaluation of the building of disciplinary values and thevalue of environmental concern in SMPN 6 Salatiga and MTsN Salatiga. And also, how the curriculum system in SMPN 6 and MTSN Salatiga is related to the cultivation of disciplinary values and environmental concern values. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with the aim of describing how to implement strategies and evaluationsof the building of the disciplinary values and environmental concern values in SMPN 6 Salatiga and MTSN Salatiga.The results of this study showed that SMPN 6 Salatiga has implemented a strategy of building disciplinary values and environmental care values by including it values in school curriculum, habituation, school culture, rolemodel, and also extracurriculer. SMPN 6 Salatiga has been awarded as Adiwiyata school because it has included in its school curriculum education about the environment. Meanwhile MTsN Salatiga does not awarded as Adiwiyata school because it has not included in its school curriculum education about the environment but it has been implementing the education about environment into daily habit and rolemodels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yangbertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi model implementasi SAK ETAPpada Asosiasi Pengusaha Kayu Jepara BMT - HPKJ yangmeliputi penyajian laporan keuangan sesuai dengan BMT HPKJdan SAK ETAP. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyajiandeskriptif kuantitatif dari analisis laporan yang telah dilakukan diBMT HPKJ. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa BMT HPKJ tidakmenerapkan SAK ETAP secara lengkap, hal itu terlihat dari jenislaporan keuangan yang hanya mencakup neraca dan laba rugisedangkan komponen laporan keuangan di SAK ETAP meliputiNeraca, Laporan Laba Rugi, Arus Kas , Change Capital dancatatan tentang lapora finansial. Sehubungan dengan penyajianBMT HPKJ yang belum sepenuhnya diadopsi untuk penyajianakun dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan tersebut belumlahlengkap.

Abstract

AbstrakKoperasi saat ini masih dihadapkan pada permasalahan rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia dan terbatasnya sumber dana yang dimiliki dalam melaksanakan kegiatan usahanya. Kualitas sumber daya manusia yang rendah berakibat pada kinerja koperasi itu sendiri yang dapat  dilihat dari beberapa factor, diantaranya dari kesehatan koperasi. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah, apakah knowledge, skill dan ability berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan bagian akuntansi, dan variable manakah yang paling dominan. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi (knowledge, skill dan ability) terhadap kinerja karyawan bagian akuntansi, dan menganalisis variabel yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kuantitaif dengan menggunakan data yang diambil dari hasil kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 36 karyawan koperasi simpan pinjam di Kabupaten Jepara. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dan memenuhi kriteria pemilihan sampel. Regresi berganda digunakan untuk menilai dampak dari kompetensi sumberdaya manusia terhadap kinerja karyawan bagian akuntansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel knowledge mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara signifikan, begitu juga dengan variabel skill and ability, dan variable skill merupakan variable yang berpengaruh paling dominan. Ini membuktikan bahwa kinerja karyawan bagian akuntansi KSP Di Kabupaten Jepara sangat dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi karyawan terutama skill. Abstract Cooperation currently is still facing the problem of low human resource quality and limited possessed financial resource in doing its operation activities. The low human resource quality affect the performance of cooperation itself which can be seen from several factors, one of them is the cooperation wealth. The problem in this research is do knowledge, skill and ability affect to the accounting division workers performance, and which variable is the most dominant affecting factor. Whereas the objective of this research is to analyze the effect of competency (knowledge, skill and ability) to the performance of accounting division workers, and analyze the most dominant variable affecting the performance. The research approach is quantitative by using the data which is taken from questioners provided to 36 workers of credit cooperation in Jepara regency. Sample is taken by using purposive sampling and has fulfilled the sample selection criteria. Multiple regression is used to assess the effect of human resource competency to the performance of accounting division workers. The research result reveals that knowledge variable affect workers performance significantly, so do the variable of skill and ability, and skill variable is the most dominant variable. This proves that the performance of accounting division workers credit cooperation in Jepara regency is affected by workers competency especially skill.

Abstract

There are many studies on biology learning for primary school prospective teachers have been conducted in order to improve learning quality. This research aimed to produce a learning design in form of integrated instructional kit of CIRC and guided inquiry (CirGI). The research method used was research and development adapted from 4D development model of Thiagarajan consisted of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research was limited up to the develop stage. The research result indicated that the product of CirGi instructional kit development in form of the syllabus, lesson plan, student worksheets, and evaluation instruments in form of scientific literacy and mastery of biology concept for primary school in Primary School Teacher Education in Pakuan University. The research result is expected to give a contribution to learning and to be further developed to achieve Biology learning objectives that could empower scientific literacy and the mastery of biology concept.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the enrichment book of Conservation Biology Lecture based on normalized gain assessment. The assessment of a lecture can be carried out in the learning process for one. Normalized gain on a class average can be used to make learning assessments. In this assessment, it is expected that the effectiveness of using books as learning media can be achieved by using the normalized gain values. The learning media in this research were printed enrichment books on molecular biology lecture. In this research, it was found that the average score of normalized gain (g) was 0.37 ± 0.03 (moderate). Thus, the results of the assessment show that the book media as a medium for learning material enrichment in the molecular biology lecture is quite effective.

Abstract

Scientific reasoning and problem-solving have become primary interests in 21st-century education. These skills have an essential role in preparing students to face global competition. This study aims to determine the correlation between scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills of biology students in animal classification and whether scientific reasoning can be used to predict problem-solving skills. The participants were 56 undergraduate students of Biology Education. The scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills of students were assessed with the pre and post-test. A simple linear regression test using the SPSS 16.0 was applied in data analysis. The results showed a p-value of 0.00 < 0.05, so there is a correlation between scientific reasoning and argumentation skills. R-value indicates 0.523, which means a strong correlation. The contribution of scientific reasoning to argumentation skills was 27.3%, while other variables explained the rest.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a module based on plant biodiversity and conservation in the Kudus area for high school students. The R&D research design, according to Borg & Gall, was implemented. The module was developed in five stages: research and information-gathering, planning; initial product development; preliminary field test; and product revision. Assessment and review of the module were performed by seven expert validators. Validity and reliability of the assessment instrument for the module were conducted and participated by 68 students. Thirty-one students became participants in the field test. Data were collected using a validation sheet and questionnaire. Data Analysis utilized excel, SPSS, and Rasch. Based on the assessment of validator experts, the module was declared valid. The module validation test gained an average score of 3.68 (very good). Students' responses showed that the Person measure was +3.22 logit, indicating that the students tended to agree with the proposed questions. The person and item reliability were 0.84 and 0.77, respectively. These values mean that the person reliability showed high consistency. The result of Rasch Analysis clarified the acceptance of students regarding the module both from Kudus and Non Kudus area. The results also showed students' interest and understanding of the issue of conservation and biodiversity, as well as their awareness of the local wisdom. It is recommended to develop a similar module as an effort of local potencies conservation.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the most important component in a learning process, both inside or outside a classroom. In order to provide proper learning for students based on the researcher’s prior research, at least, three different field tests are needed. This research is a quasi-experiment, which is provide result of the second field test of cellulose degrading bacteria from mangrove soil microbiology handout both in cognitive and psychomotor ability. The research aims are to describe effect of this microbiology handout on student’s cognitive achievement and gain data about inappropriate laboratory written instruction in this handout. Data gained by conducting learning activities using developed handout which were 2 times in class theory and three times of practical activity using instuctions written in the handout. In the end of class theory activity, students did a posttest to confirm their improvement of cognitive ability while their practical ability was observed using observation sheet along with their activities. Results showed that handout which being tested could improve student cognitive at average level (n gain 0,419). In contrast, several parts of laboratory written instruction need to be fixed to make better microbiology handout.

Abstract

Artikel ini adalah hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan mendigitalkan layanan administrasi desa dan sistem serta manajemen layanan administrasi. Objek mitra layanan adalah Desa Sinanggul, Kecamatan Mlonggo, Kabupaten Jepara. Tahap layanan adalah melakukan pengamatan dan wawancara di desa-desa mitra yang dilakukan oleh tim yang mengusulkan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM dalam bahasa), mengamati dan memetakan kebutuhan dan penggunaan administrasi desa. Hasil pengamatan pelaksanaan pemerintahan desa masih manual dan ada yang sudah menggunakan kompeter. Aparat desa yang dapat mengoperasikan peralatan komputer tidak melebihi 15% dari jumlah total peralatan yang tersedia. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah pelatihan di bidang teknologi informasi, pembuatan perangkat lunak digitalisasi dokumen dengan nama SI-Dokdes dan mensosialisasikan peradaban desa. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the temporal distribution pattern of the visiting of Arthropods on these wild plants. This descriptive and explorative research was carried out in the Wonosari tea plantation, Singosari, Malang in March 2011. The visual control method for these purposes was adopted from the modification of the visual control method developed by Frei and Manhart (1992). Observations were done with 10 repeats, consisting of 10 tempos with 15 minutes duration. Data relating to the temporal distribution of Arthropods on these wild plants were presented as diagrams and interpreted descriptively. The result of this research can be described as follows: There was a difference between the temporal distribution of Arthropod visiting the wild plants Centella asiatica L. and Synedrella nodiflora (L) Gaertn. For the Centella asiatica L the highest visitor number was at 10.00 am while for the wild plant Synedrella nodiflora (L) Gaertn it was at 11.20 am.
