Abstract

The configuration of a radial distribution network is difficult to simplify because it is very complex. This network reconfiguration is used to redesign the configuration of the radial distribution network by opening and closing switches on the distribution network. The feeder of Purwoasri, The feeder of Purwoasri, Rayon Kertosono has 65 buses which cause the Mojokerto area to have a very large loss so it needs to be reconfigured.. The resulting power flow will result in network power losses due to configuration. The reconfiguration process will be repeated until a configuration form that produces the smallest power losses is obtained. The number of feeders and buses on the network will be difficult if done manually and takes a very long time, so solving the problem must use a computer program. Network reconfiguration using the Matlab 2013a program will analyze its power flow using the Newton Raphson method and using the Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) artificial intelligence method. Before reconfiguration, the network experienced losses of 1169,1374 kWatt after reconfiguration experienced losses of 635,7444 kWatt. The results of the reconfiguration can reduce losses of 635,74440 kWatt or 45,6228 % from the previous loss.

Abstract

Photovoltaic is a renewable electrical energy generator that is very suitable for tropical countries that get a lot of sunlight. However, this generator has low efficiency. To overcome this deficiency, several researchers have optimized the conventional dual-axis tracking solar method. Research is needed to optimize using artificial intelligence, in this case, the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Bat Algorithm (BA). By comparing the performance of the model without control, conventional PID model, PID Auto tuning MatLab, Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) method, ANFIS method, and ANFIS-BA method. The simulation results show that the best model design on the horizontal axis and vertical axis dual tracking photovoltaic is ANFIS-BA with the smallest overshot, smallest undershot, and the fastest settling time of all model designs.

Abstract

Provision of irrigation water on agricultural land aims to meet crop water needs. In its utilization, irrigation water must be used optimally. An automatic irrigation system is needed that is able to provide water for plants with the expected conditions. PID (Proportional, Integral and Derivative) is widely used for optimization of control systems. In irrigation control system and sensor connection with software program (Matlab 2013b). PID simulation was applied to the irrigation prototype used to increase efficiency and determine the amount of irrigation water to regulate the provision of irrigation water as needed. As a comparison controller, conventional PID (PID-Konv) was used, Matlab auto tuning PID (PID-Auto), and Bat Algorithm tuning PID (PID-BA). The simulation results show that PID-BA is the best method in the simulation with the smallest overshot (0.043) and the fastest settlingtime (84 seconds).

Abstract

In reality, the electric power system is run by combining several production units to commit to meeting changes in load demand at each operating time. Apart from that, it also takes into account efforts to reduce overall costs while maintaining the specified technical limits. The general thing that is often done to achieve this condition is carried out with an economical operational approach which leads to minimizing operational costs. During 24 hour operations, the model that is often used is Dynamic Economic Operation (DEO) which takes into account changes in load demand over a 24 hour seven day period. This study uses the IEEE-62 bus system as a model, which is optimized using the Orca Algorithm. The load flexibility pattern is based on the effect of charging integration for Electric Vehicles (EV). The simulation results show that the Orca algorithm solves problems with fast iteration and provides the best results. The Orca algorithm provides good levels of convergence, power output and overall operational costs. EV distances and routes also have varying driving characteristics and varying power utilization. In terms of travel modes, which include one way and two trips, it has a mobility of 208,000 EVs, with respective distributions for working/business/study, service/shopping, leisure time, and other purposes.

Abstract

Micro hydro power plants (MHPPs) are increasingly important for decentralized renewable electrification, especially in isolated and rural grids where low inertia makes frequency highly sensitive to abrupt consumer-load variations. The main problem addressed in this study is that governor-turbine dynamics and conventional controller tuning are often insufficient to suppress transient frequency deviation rapidly, while previous MHPP load frequency control (LFC) studies commonly report ICA, BA, SMES, or CES results separately and in per-unit form, making practical comparison less direct. This paper contributes a current benchmark-based synthesis and normalized comparative analysis of Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES)-assisted LFC for a 40 kVA, 32 kW, 50 Hz MHPP using the Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA) and the Bat Algorithm (BA) with Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE) as the optimization objective. Literature benchmark data are reprocessed by converting per-unit overshoot into Hz and by calculating reduction relative to the uncontrolled condition to provide a transparent and reproducible engineering interpretation. ICA-based PID-SMES gives a frequency overshoot of -4.11 x 10^-5 pu (-0.002055 Hz), whereas BA-based SMES-PID gives -4.038 x 10^-5 pu (-0.002019 Hz). Compared with the uncontrolled system, the overshoot reduction reaches 87.07% for ICA and 87.30% for BA. The main contribution of this work is a clarified research-gap map, a normalized ICA-BA comparison on a comparable MHPP benchmark, and a replicable basis for future equal-condition MATLAB/Simulink validation.

Abstract

Complex campus networks featuring server-based services and the growing Internet of Things (IoT) require near-real-time monitoring systems without incurring significant overhead. This study proposes a lightweight Artificial Intelligence-Internet of Things (AI-IoT)-based network monitoring prototype on an edge computing platform, utilizing an unsupervised autoencoder for anomaly detection. This prototype is implemented out-of-band on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B device that serves as both a collection and inference node. The deep learning model on the TensorFlow Lite framework is compressed using TinyML for compatibility with small devices. The results use a dataset of 600,000 labeled flows that illustrate the trade-off in operational flexibility. At the P70 threshold, an F1-Score of 0.60 (precision 0.96, recall 0.43) is obtained, and in the P95 scenario, false positives can be completely eliminated. The edge infrastructure demonstrated excellent performance with an average batch processing latency of 74 ms and a throughput of over 300 flows/second with a constant Random Access Memory (RAM) usage of 2.8%.

Abstract

Desa munungkerep merupakan salah satu desa penghasil kerajinan Pandan yang sudah ada sejak zaman dulu dan merupakan warisan budaya kearifan lokal yang diperoleh dari orang tua secara turun-temurun. Kerajinan anyaman dibuat dari tanaman pandan yang tersedia dengan jumlah yang melimpah di desa Munungkerep. Mayoritas penduduknya bekerja sebagai pengrajin anyaman tikar pandan. Permasalahannya adalah anyaman Pandan yang dihasilkan oleh pengrajin biasanya dijual langsung kepada pengepul anyaman sehingga nilai jual dari anyaman Pandan tergantung dari jumlah harga yang diberikan oleh pengepul. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pengelola dan pengrajin UMKM Anya Craft di Desa Munungkerep, Kecamatan Kabuh, Kabupaten Jombang yang bertujuan memberikan pelatihan mengenai inovasi produk baru yang dihasilkan dari kerajinan anyaman pandan dan meningkatkan kreativitas pengrajin. Dengan menambahkan desain baru yang lebih beragam dan disesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman akan meningkatkan daya jual. Serta membantu mitra dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, pengrajin bisa memahami materi yang diberikan dan bisa mempraktekannya, mulai dari persiapan dan proses produksi. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah ada sebagian kecil pengrajin yang keterampilannya kurang memadai.

Abstract

Kedelai merupakan sumber utama protein nabati dan minyak nabati dunia. Kedelai merupakan tanaman pangan berupa semak yang tumbuh tegak. Kedelai sebagai hasil bumi dusun Kalangsemanding harus dapat dimaksimalkan pemanfaatannya. Keuntungan akan semakin berlipat ganda jika warga mampu mengolah kedelai, misalnya dengan membuat susu kedelai. Atas dasar ini, penulis melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu mengajarkan remaja dan ibu membuat susu kedelai. Untuk memantau bahwa program dijalankan, maka tahapan selanjutnya dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan. Proses pendampingan ini dilaksanakan secara fisik dengan Ibu-Ibu Cara tersebut dirasa lebih efektif dan efisien dikarenakan masyarakat dapat terlibat dan melihat langsung proses pembuatan alatnya, serta pembibitan. Hasil program yang dijalankan pelatihan pembuatan susu kedelai dengan varian rasa telah berhasil memberdayakan ibu-ibu rumah tangga masyarakat Desa Kalangsemading dalam memulihkan perekonomian pasca pandemi. Masyarakat memberikan respon yang sangat positif terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan dan menilai kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat

Abstract

One of the problems in the management of the Banjarsari Agro Community Park (BAC) located in Bajarsari Village, Bandarkedungmulyo District, Jombang Regency is the lack of understanding and maximizing social media that currently exists for the development process of the Banjarsari Village Tourism Park which is currently in the development stage. So far, the spread of these tourist attractions has been mostly through word of mouth or communities who have visited BAC. The hope is that in the future, with managers who operate and this tourist spot has social media, its existence will be increasingly recognized by people and its development will be faster.

Abstract

Pandansili Tourism Site in Ngampungan Village, Bareng District, Jombang Regency, is a bathing tourism destination developed by the village-owned enterprise and Tourism Awareness Group since 2019. The situational analysis indicates that the partner requires renewable-energy innovation to reduce operational costs, strengthen educational tourism, and improve management capacity. This community service program utilizes spring-water overflow through a picohydro power plant design using an axial turbine. The technical data refer to the ZD760-LM-(18-20) axial-flow turbine-generator with 220 V AC rated voltage, 2 kW rated power, 1-5 m operating head, 0.02-1.0 m3/s water-flow range, and continuous-duty operation. At a nominal head of 3 m with turbine efficiency of 0.65 and generator efficiency of 0.85, the discharge required to produce 2 kW is approximately 0.123 m3/s. The implementation method consists of partner coordination, discharge and head survey, SWOT analysis, intake-turbine-generator-control-panel design, operation-maintenance training, and energy-utilization evaluation. The SWOT analysis shows an IFE score of 5.56 and an EFE score of 5.01, placing Pandansili development in Quadrant I with an aggressive/offensive strategy. The energy output is directed to tourism-area lighting, renewable-energy educational information boards, simple sensor/monitoring loads, and demonstration loads. The program is expected to improve energy independence, add educational tourism value, and strengthen Pokdarwis competence in managing appropriate technology based on local potential.
