Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of locus of control on employee discipline and the role of job satisfaction in mediating the relationship of locus of control on employee discipline. This study uses a quantitative approach, the research was conducted at YPI Miftahul Huda Papar, Kediri Regency, data was collected using a questionnaire filled out by all employees. Locus of control is measured by the ability, interest, effort, fate, and influence of others. Job satisfaction is measured by using 2 factors motivation, the last work discipline includes goals, justice, inherent supervision, sanctions and punishments. Data were analyzed for hypothesis testing using Path Analysis. The results of the analysis reveal that locus of control and job satisfaction have an effect on employee discipline. Another finding is that job satisfaction plays a role in mediating the influence of locus of control on work discipline. Suggestions for further research is to develop this research in a different place and examine the consequences of work discipline.

Abstract

Internal communication is an important function in an organization in relation to human resource management. This research examined the employee-perceived internal communication and investigated the role of internal communication and employee motivation on employee performance. The mediating influence of motivation in influence of internal communication on organizational performance was also investigated. Questionnaires were distributed to employees of BPJS Malang City to collect the data of this study. Path Analysis was performed to analyze the data, which results revealed that internal communication could improve employee performance. Internal communication was also found to enhance employee motivation, which in turn would affect the employee performance. Internal communication will encourage organization-employee relationship. Employees should understand the company's core business to make them aware of the targets to achieve. Through effective internal communication, employees would have better comprehension on the importance of their performance. Future researchers are encouraged to examine job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the relationship between internal communication and employee performance

Abstract

Desa Dalisodo dan Pandanrejo berada di Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang sangat potensial dalam mengembangkan usaha biting dan dupa, yang mayoritas masih diproduksi secara manual. Permintaan terhadap produk biting dan dupa dari Pulau Bali dan Lombok sangat tinggi. Metode pelaksanaan melalui tahapan identifikasi dan pengelompokan jenis usaha di desa Dalisodo dan desa Pandanrejo, manajemen usaha, pengemasan, pemasaran, administrasi keuangan, dan perpajakan, sosialisasi kebersihan lingkungan, serta pelatihan pertanian organik bagi masyarakat petani, praktik menanam tanaman sayur organik sampai pada panennya, serta monitoring dan pendampingan yang dilakukan setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan. Hasil disampaikan bahwa produktivitas biting sebagai bahan pembuatan dupa meningkat setelah menggunakan mesin gesek yaitu 140 %, sebelum menggunakan mesin gesek hanya 5 kg/hari dan setelah menggunakan mesin gesek meningkat menjadi 12 kg/hari. Produktivitas dupa secara manual hanya 7 kg/hari dan setelah menggunakan mesin mixer meningkat menjadi 20 kg/hari. Sayur organik yang dikembangkan yaitu bayam merah, bayam hijau, selat, kecai, cabai, tomat, terong, sawi. Tim pengabdi telah berkoordinasi dengan perangkat desa, kantor dinas koperasi, usaha mikro kabupaten Malang, sasaran program tim pengabdi tercapai, pendapatan masyarakat mengalami peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas produk untuk dipasarkan serta tanaman organik menjadi salah satu budidaya masyarakat untuk dikonsumsi sebagai makanan sehat dalam keluarga, dan nantinya menjadi desa wisata.

Abstract

The research aims to investigate the effect of social media marketing on the intention to visit Cafe & Resto, and to analyze the role of brand awareness as mediation. The research was conducted at random Cafe & Resto in Malang City, data was collected using a questionnaire by utilizing social media. Hypothesis testing using Path Analysis. The results of the study show that the use of social media marketing is able to encourage customer intention to visit Cafe & Resto, besides that social media marketing also increases customer/consumer brand awareness of Cafe & Resto, and increased brand awareness provides benefits to increased customer intention. Brand awareness acts as a mediator for the influence of social media marketing on customer intention. The research has theoretical and practical implications and is discussed further in this article.

Abstract

Home industry biting bambu merupakan salah satu usaha yang ditekuni masyarakat desa Karanganyar, Kec. Poncokusumo, Kab. Malang, hasil produksinya dijual kepada pengepun untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan tusuk sate. Proses produksi pembuatan biting bambu dilakukan oleh tenaga manusia secara manual, sehingga kapasitas produksi yang dihasilkan masih rendah, padahal jika ditekuni secara serius bisa meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian meliputi difusi dan penerapan Ipteks, serta pengembangan kemitraan. Penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa mesin mesin belah dan serut bambu digunakan sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan jumlah produksi biting bambu, karena jika menggunakan mesin maka proses produksi bisa dilakukan dengan cepat. Peningkatan produksi biting bambu tersebut selanjutnya didukung dengan adanya kemitraan antara pengrajin dengan pengusaha tusuk sate dalam bentuk kemitraan sub-kontrak, dimana pengrajin akan memproduksi biting bambu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi pengusaha tusuk sate sesuai dengan kualitas yang ditetapkan. Penggunaan teknologi berupa mesin belah dan serut bambu menyebabkan peningkatan kapasitas produksi pengrajin antara 50%-60% per bulan, dampaknya pendapatan para pengrajin juga meningkat. Pola kemitraan yang dibangun memberikan keuntungan bagi pengrajin dimana hasil produksi semuanya akan dibeli oleh perusahan mitra dengan harga yang sudah disepakati, bagi perusahaan tusuk sate sebagai mitra, akan membantu perekonomian masyarakat sekitar. Penerapan teknologi tepat guna dengan kemitraan menjadi salah satu model yang bisa diadopsi oleh pemerintah daerah untuk pengembangan usaha kreatif dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Banyak penelitian terdahulu yang menjelaskan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi, disiplin berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, dari penelitian sebelumnya penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh masing-masing variabel, variabel yang digunakan adalah variabel gaya kepemimpinan sebagai variabel bebas yang mempengaruhi motivasi dan disiplin sebagai intervening dan kinerja. sebagai variabel terikat, dalam penelitian ini adalah populasinya adalah guru di 4 (empat) SMP Swasta di Kecamatan Banyuanyar Kabupaten Probolinggo yang berjumlah 52, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel, berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian di SMP swasta, tentang analisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, motivasi, kedisiplinan terhadap kinerja guru menghasilkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kemudian jika gaya kepemimpinan meningkat motivasi juga akan meningkat, gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif berpengaruh terhadap disiplin maka jika gaya kepemimpinan meningkat disiplin juga akan meningkat, motivasi mempengaruhi kinerja dan motivasi merupakan variabel intervening antara gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja, disiplin secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja dan mengintervensi antara gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja, gaya kepemimpinan secara parsial tidak langsung mempengaruhi kinerja namun gaya kepemimpinan dapat mempengaruhi kinerja melalui variabel kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Sentra Mendong Wajak merupakan salah satu UMKM yang ada di Desa Wajak Kecamatan Wajak Kabupaten Malang, yang memproduksi kerajinan berbahan mendong seperti tampar mendong dan tikar. Permasalahan yang telah diidentifikasi yaitu nilai tambah produksi mendong rendah, karena hanya menghasilkan produk utama tampar mendong sebagai produk setengah jadi untuk bahan baku tikar mendong, masalah lain adalah penjualan hanya berdasarkan pesanan karena belum memiliki pasar sendiri. Solusi yang diusulkan dari kegiatan PKM meliputi pengembangan produk (diversifikasi) kerajinan berbahan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah, dan pendampingan pemasaran. Target luaran yang akan dicapai dari kegiatan PKM ini meliputi peningkatan produksi dan pendapatan sebesar 30%, memiliki produk unggulan kerajinan berbahan mendong, dan memiliki pasar sendiri (marketplace). Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode based participatory dimana pengabdi dan mitra berpartisipasi aktif dalam penentuan program sebagai solusi permasalahan, bagaimana keputusan diambil, dan target luaran yang akan dicapai bersama dari kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini berupa diversifikasi produk produk kerajinan mendong, peningkatan penjualan, dan peningkatan pendapatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze about (1) The effect of leadership on employee performance. (2) The influence of leadership on employee performance through organizational culture. Samples were taken using a sample proposition method. The selected respondents were employees of PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa who had worked for more than 3 years. In this case the researchers took a sample of 170 respondents. The hypothesis of this study was tested using path analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that leadership has a direct effect on employee performance. Organizational culture has a role in mediating the influence of leadership on employee performance significantly. Thus the role of organizational culture has an important role in improving employee performance.

Abstract

One of the causes of the decline in sales at CitraLand Palu was the earthquake and tsunami of 2018 and the COVID-19 pandemic of 2019. One way to overcome this problem is to provide better quality services. In the context of the housing industry, previous research has been limited to studying the impact of service quality and customer satisfaction on loyalty. In research with campus and bank objects, different research results showed that service quality did not have a significant effect on satisfaction and loyalty. The relationship between existing variables shows that the influence of service quality on customer loyalty is tentatively unlimited, and there are still differences in research results. It needs to be tested in further research and is a gap for research in the context of housing objects. This research examines the influence of service quality in residential facilities on customer satisfaction. This study also examines customer satisfaction as a mediating factor in creating customer loyalty. Based on the type of data obtained, the author uses quantitative methods; a questionnaire is used as a tool for data collection. Data analysis in research uses path analysis, assisted by SPSS software.

Abstract

The business of laying hens in Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, has a very large opportunity, an area that is known as an agriculture-based area as well as a food support area for Kendari City as the provincial capital. This study aims to examine regional characteristics, demography of laying hen breeders, and motivation to raise livestock. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive aim to describe certain conditions or phenomena. Information selection was carried out by purposive sampling, required to have experience in raising laying hens for 2 years and snowball sampling. Data collection was carried out by direct interviews and observations at plantation business locations. During the Covid-19 Pandemic visits to informants carried out strict health protocols. Some additional information for matters deemed important is confirmed and re-validated by telephone. The topography of the land in Konawe Selatan Regency generally has an undulating and hilly land surface. The height of the land above sea level ranges from 0-1000 meters, dominantly at an altitude of 100-500 meters which reaches 39%, with a land slope between 0-36 degrees, the soil type is dominated by grumosol, podzolic and latosol, between these hills, land stretches which are potential areas for the development of the agricultural and livestock sectors. The distribution of land use in South Konawe Regency is as much as 24% (1008.21 km2) which has the potential to be used as agricultural land and livestock. The average temperature, humidity, wind speed, air pressure, and solar radiation in South Konawe Regency throughout 2020 are as follows 26.79°C, 85.25%, 1 m/s, 1009.57 mb, and 47.33%. The main business of laying hens is 76.92% as breeders, the average age of breeders is 49.00 ± 16.65 years with farming experience of 7.49 ± 7.41 years. The education of breeders was dominated by high school graduates (46.15%) and university graduates (38.46%). In general, the motivation to raise laying hens is 92.31% as the main business and 7.69% as a side business.
