Abstract

Retardasi mental ditandai oleh keterbatasan individu yang signifikan baik dalam fungsi intelektual maupun dalam fungsi adaptif. Individu dengan retardasi mental lebih sering mengalami komorbid dengan gangguan psikologis lainnya. Studi kasus ini memfokuskan pada anak (10 tahun) yang mengalami retardasi mental ringan dan Disruptive Behavior Disorder (DBD). Asesmen yang dilakukan untuk menegakkan diagnosis, antara lain: wawancara, observasi, dan tes psikologis. Intervensi dilakukan dengan memfokuskan pada perilaku bermasalah subyek yakni memukul, tidak mau mengikuti perintah, berteriak, serta tidak mau meminta maaf ketika berbuat kesalahan. Intervensi yang dilakukan dengan teknik modifikasi perilaku yakni kombinasi antara token ekonomi dan response cost. Berdasarkan intervensi yang telah dilakukan, subyek sudah mengalami perubahan seperti mulai mampu untuk mengikuti perintah dan mengurangi perilaku berteriak serta memukul orang lain. Akan tetapi, tidak ada perubahan yang signifikan berkaitan dengan perilaku meminta maaf ketika berbuat kesalahan

Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the impacts by adolescents who experienced internet addiction with pornographic content. It applied a qualitative approach, namely an instrumental case study. Participants were 18-25 years old, there were six adolescents who were obtained based on the initial screening, namely self-reporting through a pornography internet addiction questionnaire. The data were collected by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Thematic analysis with NVivo 12 data management was used as the data analysis technique. The results show that adolescents experience changes in cognition and affection for sexual stimulation caused by the internet with pornographic content. The impact of cognition is shown from their obsessive-compulsive thoughts on sexual content. They always have the desire to see those photos or video over again, which lead them to sleep disorders due to visualizing scenes of sexual intercourse. The impact of affection can be seen from their desire to act in sexual activity, their being so passionate and pleased after seeing pornographic content, and their expectation to feel such immense affection. Furthermore, they might find difficulty in establishing interpersonal relationships with other people and tend to withdraw themselves from the social environment.

Abstract

Depresi adalah gangguan psikologis yang rentan dialami oleh sebagian orang, termasuk pada orang dewasa yang memiliki gejala autistik. Secara umum, depresi dapat muncul akibat berbagai pikiran negatif yang saling berpengaruh dengan perasaan dan perilaku seseorang. Salah satu pencetus munculnya depresi pada dewasa autistik adalah pikiran yang negatif mengenai disabilitas yang dimiliki, sehingga membuat dewasa autistik menjadi lebih menarik diri dan merasa rendah diri. Cognitive behavior therapy atau CBT merupakan intervensi psikologis yang banyak diterapkan untuk menangani gejala depresi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan deskripsi mengenai efektivitas penerapan CBT untuk menangani depresi pada dewasa autistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review (SLR) untuk meninjau literatur berupa artikel penelitian mengenai penanganan depresi pada dewasa autistik dengan CBT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa CBT cukup efektif untuk menangani keluhan depresi pada dewasa autistik, terutama jika menggunakan modifikasi pada metode CBT yang diberikan serta mempertimbangkan lamanya intervensi yang dijalankan. Keterbatasan penelitian ini yaitu terbatas jumlah literatur yang ditinjau dan belum dapat menjangkau penelitian lain yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesepian dengan ide bunuh diri yang dimoderasi oleh depresi pada remaja dengan orangtua yang bercerai. Di dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 233 remaja dengan orangtua yang bercerai dengan catatan bercerai ≤ 5 tahun. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan metode survey. Dalam metode pengukurannya, variabel kesepian menggunakan skala De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale, BDI-II (Beck Depression Inventory-II), dan Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation. Uji analisis data yang penlis gunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah uji non-parametrik. Teknik ini dipilih karena satu data yang tidak normal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kesepian dengan ide bunuh diri pada remaja dengan orangtua yang bercerai. Pada uji moderasi pada variabel depresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel depresi semakin memperkuat hubungan antara kesepian dengan ide bunuh diri.

Abstract

Children with intellectual disabilities have deficits in generalmental abilities due to insignificant cognitive development.The deficits result in weak attention functions that difficultymaintaining focus and are easily distracted. Therefore, theyfailed to meet standards in responsibility including daily lifeaspects. Implementing behavior modification enhancesmastery of daily life skills and also training focuses in orderthat children become more independent. This study aims toexamine whether buttoning skills practice could increasefocus on intellectual disability children. The experimentalapproach was carried out with a single case AB withbackward chaining technique assisted by prompting andgiving positive reinforcement. The participant was a 9-yearold girl with the initials ZR who was diagnosed with mildintellectual disability. Assessment based on accomplishmentfollowing the stages systematically. The results show there isan improvement trend in mastering buttoning skills. This isdue to appropriate positive reinforcement being selected thatmotivated participants to focus on completing tasks.Repetition makes participants become more acclimated towear button-up clothes. This skill practice could be an optionto encourage focus on intellectual disability children. Anak dengan intellectual disability mengalami defisit intelektual sebab perkembangan kognisi yang tidak optimal. Kondisi ini menyebabkan lemahnya fungsi atensi yang merupakan faktor signifikan dari perkembangan kognitif. Akibatnya anak mengalami hambatan pada kemampuan dalam keterampilan adaptif, sosial serta konseptual. Akan tetapi anak mild intellectual disability masih dapat dibina walau perlu pendampingan. Mereka dapat diajarkan keterampilan sehari-hari untuk meningkatkan kemandirian. Keterampilan harian self-help dressing menjadi salah satu kebutuhan, termasuk berlatih memasang-melepas kancing (buttoning skills). Buttoning skills membutuhkan tahapan yang tersistematis sehingga membantu anak berkonsentrasi. Penelitian ini adalah single case AB design pada anak mild intellectual disability berusia 9 tahun. Intervensi yang digunakan adalah backward chaining dibantu teknik prompting dan pemberian positive reinforcement. Hasil buttoning skills dengan intervensi yang ditetapkan mendapatkan gambaran adanya peningkatan keterampilan serta membangun fokus dan dorongan pada anak.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the Self-Consciousness of women from the Tounsawang Southeast Minahasa ethnic group in empowering themselves. The research problem is how Self Consciousness of Women in self-empowerment, Family empowerment, and Socio-Economic work. By using qualitative methods, the research was conducted in the sample areas named Betelen Village, Tombatu Satu and Tombatu Dua. The results of the study are 1. Women have very high awareness in empowering themselves because women interpret the principles of Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou as humans live to bring others to life. 2. Women empower their families by working hard and replacing their husbands in Mapalus work and also representing the family in various community activities. 3. Women are empowered in social and economic life to increase family income and welfare.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan psikologis individu sangat penting, terutama bagi relawan. Tingkat kesejahteraan yang rendah dapat berdampak pada kesehatan mental dan perkembangan relawan secara keseluruhan. Munculnya kesejahteraan psikologis dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas altruis. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan uji korelasi antara altruisme dengan kesejahteraan psikologis relawan pada Lembaga Filantropi Dompet Dhuafa. Sebanyak 133 peserta dalam penelitian ini yang menyelesaikan kuesioner menggunakan instrumen altruism scale dan Ryff’s psychological well-being scale. Altruisme dan kesejahteraan psikologis pada relawan memiliki hubungan positif signifikan yang sangat kuat. Menurut analisis data menggunakan pendekatan korelasi Spearman (r(133)= 0,523; p < 0,001). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis relawan akan meningkat atau semakin tinggi, seiring dengan tingginya tingkat altruisme.

Abstract

Parental divorce will influence how a child develops their self-esteem. After divorce, the relationship between parents and their children also tends to get disturbed and become inconsistent. With regard to the developmental task during early adulthood to build intimacy with others, the aim of this study was to determine the relationship between self-esteem, perceived parenting style, and fear of intimacy. This quantitative study conducted a survey. The results revealed that self-esteem and perceived democratic parenting style were correlated with fear of intimacy among early adults with divorced parents. These correlations, however, were only weak to moderate, suggesting that future studies on fear of intimacy should consider the role of other factors.

Abstract

The tendency toward cognitive rumination among females in their late adolescence was increasing during the COVID-19 pandemic, which in turn may lead to the development of anxiety and depression disorders. Lyrics Analysis Intervention in group aiming to redirect thoughts and introduce more effective coping mechanisms is one of the methods in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to overcome cognitive rumination. In this report, the characteristic shared by the intervention group members as a fan of the South Korean boy band, BTS (Bangtansonyeondan), was used as a basis of the song selection. Discussing the song "Permission to Dance" with its optimistic lyrics has provided insight into positive and effective coping strategies as a way to conduct cognitive rumination. The results of this research suggest that combining Lyrics Analysis Intervention with psychoeducation and self-monitoring task can reduce the participants' symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Character education in Islam has its own style, as well as the character values con- tained in various learning media for early childhood. This study is a follow-up study to find the effect of Movie Media with Islamic Character Values (M-ICV) in shaping "Ahlaqul Karimah" in early childhood. Using an experimental method with a control class, which involved 19 respondents of early childhood. Data shows that the ttest < t table (0.75 < 2.110), meaning that there is a significant difference in effect between the experimental class and the control class. The results conclude that M-ICV is able to form a child's "Ahlakul Karimah" slowly, because the child likes various movies with content interesting and easy to imitate. The implications of further research on movie content development for children are able to develop other aspects of children's development.
