Abstract

Humans are created with diverse dispositions, but understanding this diversity often leads to stereotypes or unconstructive comparisons. This study analyzes Aisyah Dahlan's classification of human dispositions and compares it with modern psychological perspectives and Qur'anic values. Using a qualitative method based on literature study and digital content observation, this study identifies four types of dispositions: Sanguinis (cheerful), Choleric (organizing), Phlegmatic (peaceful), and Melancholic (thinker), which are linked to the verse QS. Ash-Shams: 8-9 about the potential for human wickedness and piety. The main findings reveal that Aisyah Dahlan's approach provides a distinctive integration of classical psychology (Hippocrates' temperament model), neuroscience (frontal lobe function), and Islamic spirituality, addressing a gap in the secularized Western psychology model. This study contributes to providing a conceptual framework that is religiously and scientifically relevant in understanding and positively directing human dispositions. The results of this study are expected to be helpful in the practice of character education, parenting, family development, and the self-healing process.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is the tendency always or almost always to postpone work on academic assignments and always or almost always experience disturbing anxiety related to the academic procrastination carried out. Academic procrastination negatively impacts a student's life in the academic, physical and social fields. Therefore, it is necessary to implement psychoeducation to prevent and intervene in academic procrastination in students, especially those at an advanced level. This psychoeducational activity aims to map the level of procrastination of advanced students at the ABC Department, XYZ Faculty, X University and increase students' understanding of academic procrastination. The subjects of this research were 138 Semester 6 students at the ABC Department, XYZ Faculty, X University. The method used is a survey using the Aitken Procrastination Inventory procrastination measuring instrument. Changes in student understanding were measured through pre-test and post-testpost-test, then analyzed using the T-test. From the results of observations, it is known that as many as 4 students (2.9%) were at the "very low" level of procrastination, 38 people (27.5%) were at the "low" level, 61 people (44.2%) were at the "moderate" level. , 31 people (22.5%) were at the "high" level and 4 people (2.9%) were at the "very high" level. The T-test results showed that there was a significant difference (P value = 0.001) in the mean pre-test (7.67) and post-test (8.20) scores. These results show an increase in knowledge before and after psychoeducation.Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan kecenderungan untuk selalu atau hampir selalu menunda pengerjaan tugas-tugas akademik dan selalu atau hampir selalu mengalami kecemasan yang mengganggu terkait dengan prokrastinasi akademik yang dilakukan. Prokrastinasi akademik memiliki berbagai dampak negatif dalam kehidupan seorang mahasiswa, baik dalam bidang akademik, fisik dan sosial. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilaksanakan psikoedukasi sebagai upaya pencegahan dan intervensi prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa terutama yang telah berada pada tingkat lanjut. Tujuan dari kegiatan psikoedukasi ini adalah untuk memetakan tingkat prokrastinasi mahasiswa tingkat lanjut pada Jurusan ABC, Fakultas XYZ, Universitas X dan meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai prokrastinasi akademik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Semester 6 pada Jurusan ABC, Fakultas XYZ, Universitas X sebanyak 138 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan menggunakan instrumen ukur prokrastinasi Aitken Procrastination Inventory. Perubahan pemahaman mahasiswa diukur melalui pre-test dan post-test yang kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan T-test. Dari hasil pengamatan diketahui bahwa sebanyak 4 orang (2.9%) mahasiswa yang berada pada tingkatan prokrastinasi “very low”, 38 orang (27,5%) pada tingkatan “low”, 61 orang (44,2%) pada tingkatan “moderate”, 31 orang (22,5%) pada tingkatan “high” dan 4 orang (2,9%) pada tingkatan “very high”. Hasil uji T menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan (nilai P = 0.001) pada rerata nilai pre-test (7,67) dan post-test (8.20) . Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan psikoedukasi.

Abstract

Teenagers at orphanages have a greater risk of psychological problems than teenagers who live at home. Orphanage youth tend to harbor their problems and prefer to tell stories with their peers rather than with caregivers. So, it is necessary for teenagers to train themselves so they can become counselors who can help each other and themselves. This study aims to see the effectiveness of peer counselor training to increase empathy for peer counselor candidates. This research was quasi-experimental research by measuring pre-post by using one group. The number of participants in this study were 4 people where the selection of subjects used purposive sampling based on the characteristics of adolescents. The instrument used was the Interpersonal Reactivity Index. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the results of peer counseling training between before and after the experiment was conducted, pre (M= 82.5, SD= 3.32) and post (M= 86.5, SD= 2.62), p = 0.098 (p<0.05). However, based on the results of observations, it shows that their skills have increased in effective listening skills, and developing emotional literacy. Para remaja panti asuhan memiliki resiko permasalahan psikologis lebih besar dibandingkan dengan remaja yang tinggal dirumah. Para remaja panti asuhan cenderung memendam permasalahan mereka dan lebih suka bercerita dengan sebaya mereka dibandingkan dengan para pengasuh. Sehingga perlu untuk para remaja melatih diri agar dapat menjadi konselor yang nantinya dapat membantu satu sama lain dan dirinya sendiri. Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas dari pelatihan konselor sebaya untuk meningkatkan empati para calon konselor sebaya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan mengukur pre-pos dengan menggunakan satu kelompok. Jumlah peserta pada penelitian ini adalah 4 orang dimana pemilihan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling berdasarkan karakteristik usia remaja. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Interpersonal Reactivity Index. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan hasil pelatihan konseling sebaya antara sebelum dan sesudah eksperimen dilakukan, pre (M= 82.5, SD= 3.32) dengan hasil post (M= 86.5, SD= 2.62), p = 0.098 (p<0.05). Namun, berdasarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa ketrampilan mereka mengalami peningkatan pada ketrampilan mendengarkan efektif dan mengembangkan literasi emosional.

Abstract

This study explores family resilience post-divorce and the contributing factors to their emotional and psychological adaptation. A literature review method was utilized, analyzing 14 journal articles. The findings reveal significant roles of social support, emotional regulation, and coping skills in fostering resilience. Families who receive strong social support tend to recover more effectively from the emotional distress caused by divorce. Emotional regulation and positive coping strategies also enable family members, particularly children, to adapt better to changes. Interventions targeting these three factors have been shown to accelerate recovery and adaptation processes. This research emphasizes the importance of supporting families through systematic and tailored approaches to enhance resilience and mitigate the adverse effects of divorce. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi resiliensi keluarga pasca perceraian dan faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap adaptasi emosional dan psikologis mereka. Metode kajian literatur digunakan dengan menganalisis 14 artikel jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran signifikan dukungan sosial, regulasi emosi, dan keterampilan coping dalam membangun resiliensi. Keluarga yang mendapatkan dukungan sosial yang kuat cenderung lebih efektif pulih dari tekanan emosional akibat perceraian. Regulasi emosi dan strategi coping yang positif juga memungkinkan anggota keluarga, terutama anak-anak, untuk lebih mudah beradaptasi dengan perubahan yang terjadi. Intervensi yang berfokus pada tiga faktor ini terbukti mempercepat proses pemulihan dan adaptasi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya mendukung keluarga melalui pendekatan sistematis dan terarah untuk meningkatkan resiliensi serta mengurangi dampak negatif perceraian.

Abstract

Educators are the key determinant of changing learning styles in the midst of a pandemic. They are required to be more creative and innovative in conducting learning. The purpose of this community service is to increase the use of IT-based learning media for Madina Luhur Kindergarten teachers. The implementation method used in this activity is the lecture method from the speakers and practicum by the teachers with the devices they have such as mobile phones and laptops for each participant as well as mentoring by the lecturers in practicing the steps for using these web tools. For teachers, the result is an increase in their understanding and skills in using web tools such as Answer Garden and Tricider for learning materials. For lecturers, the results of this community service activity are an increase in motivation to be more active and sensitive to engage in development in the community directly, especially those related to the world of education. For Higher Education, the resulting achievement is the increasing quality of sustainable academic programs, and as a manifestation of the accountability of the Higher Education in the community. With this service, it is hoped that it can improve the skills of Madina Luhur Teachers in IT-based learning, and can apply them in the teaching and learning process at Madina Luhur Kindergarten. Abstract

Mass psychogenic illness is a phenomenon that occurs every year in Indonesia, mainly in schools and factories. In the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, this phenomenon is classified as dissociative disorders. However, the Indonesian diagnostic manual of mental disorders (the PPDGJ) classified the phenomenon as a conversion disorder. The confounding diagnosis will likely result in less effective and less humane interventions. This study aims to determine the symptoms experienced by individuals experiencing mass psychogenic illness, therefore contributing to the current literature regarding the proper diagnostic of the spirit possession. Samples (N=55) were assessed using the Dissociative Disorder Interview Schedule based on DSM-5. The Beck Depression Inventory and Wong-Baker Face Rating Scale are also used to supplement the data. Findings indicate that the subjects fit the diagnostic criterion of several disorders, namely somatization (experienced by 98.18% of individuals), major depression (49%), trance (69%), childhood physical abuse (35%), and borderline personality disorder (47.2%). However, only 14.54% of subjects fulfilled the diagnostic criterion of dissociative amnesia, 7.27% for diagnostic fugue, 3.63% for depersonalization/derealization, 5% for dissociative identity disorder, 11% for other specified and unspecified dissociative disorder. These findings showed that mass psychogenic illness is likely the manifestation of distinct and separate mental disorders, notably that of somatization disorder, trance, borderline personality disorder, and major depressive disorder, and exclusively those of dissociative disorders.

Abstract

Caring and providing financial support for two generations in one family is inseparable from declining psychological aspects, one of which is subjective well-being that affected from caregiver burden. It is important for sandwich generation who bear multiple demands, to maintain their subjective well-being in a good quality . Pearson’s correlation analysis was conducted in 81 sandwich generation mothers that leads to result of a significant negative correlation between caregiver burden and subjective well-being (r= -0,539; p < 0,05). This result explains that if the level of caregiver burden is increased, the it decreases the subjective well-being level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemaafan dengan kebahagiaan pada remaja yang memiliki orang tua bercerai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan data survei. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu remaja dengan rentang usia 15-23 tahun baik laki-laki ataupun perempuan yang memiliki orang tua bercerai dengan jumlah 114 subjek. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengukur pemaafan adalah TRIM-18 (Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Inventory) yang dikembangkan oleh McCullough dkk. (2006) yang telah diadaptasi oleh (Umar M. F., 2016). Sementara itu alat ukur yang digunakan untuk kebahagiaan adalah The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) yang dikembangkan oleh Hills & Argyle (2002) yang telah dimodifikasi dan diadaptasi oleh (Sartika, 2018). Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pemaafan dengan kebahagiaan pada remaja yang memiliki orang tua bercerai, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,362 dengan p = 0,000. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi pemaafan maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kebahagiaan pada remaja yang memiliki orang tua bercerai. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah pemaafan maka semakin rendah pula tingkat kebahagiaan pada remaja yang memiliki orang tua bercerai.

Abstract

Individuals aged 60 years experience many changes during the aging process such as physical and social changes. The influence of the aging process often causes various problems, event that has most serious impact on older adults well-being is the death of a spouse. This research aims to determine the correlation between time perspective and subjective well-being among older adults who had loss a spouse. This research used a quantitative approach with Spearman’s rho correlation test analysis. This research was conducted to a sample of 83 widowhood older adults who had loss their spouses. The results shows that there is a relationship between time perspective and subjective well-being with a coefficient on past positive dimensional is 0,697, past negative dimensional is -0,550, present hedonism dimensional is 0,626, present fatalistic dimensional -0,475, and future dimensional is 0,520. Based on the results it can be concluded that each dimension of time perspective is related to subjective well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between forgiveness and happiness in adolescents who have divorced parents. This study uses a quantitative approach using survey data collection methods. The subjects of this study were teenagers with an age range of 15-23 years, both male and female who had divorced parents with a total of 114 subjects. The measuring instrument used in this study to measure forgiveness is TRIM-18 (Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Inventory) developed by McCullough et al. (2006) which has been adapted by (Umar M. F., 2016). Meanwhile, the measuring tool used for happiness is The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) developed by Hills & Argyle (2002) which has been modified and adapted by (Sartika, 2018). The results of the study were analyzed using Product Moment from Pearson correlation. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between forgiveness and happiness in adolescents who have divorced parents, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.362 with p = 0.000. This indicates that the higher the forgiveness, the higher the level of happiness in adolescents who have divorced parents. Conversely, the lower the forgiveness, the lower the level of happiness in adolescents whose parents are divorced.
