Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara fear of missing out (FoMO) dengan kesejahteraan subjektif pada mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 315 mahasiswa. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner dalam bentuk Google Form yang disebarkan melalui media sosial. Alat ukur kesejahteraan subjektif menggunakan SWLS milik Diener, dkk. (1985) dan PANAS milik Watson, dkk. (1988). Alat ukur fear of missing out (FoMO) menggunakan FoMOs milik Przybylski, dkk. (2013). Hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh nilai korelasi antara FoMO dengan kesejahteraan subjektif sebesar -0,18 dengan p sebesar 0,001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara FoMO dengan kesejahteraan subjektif dengan arah berlawanan yang berarti semakin tinggi FoMO yang dialami individu maka nilai kesejahteraan subjektif akan menurun.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the Self-Consciousness of women from the Tounsawang Southeast Minahasa ethnic group in empowering themselves. The research problem is how Self Consciousness of Women in self-empowerment, Family empowerment, and Socio-Economic work. By using qualitative methods, the research was conducted in the sample areas named Betelen Village, Tombatu Satu and Tombatu Dua. The results of the study are 1. Women have very high awareness in empowering themselves because women interpret the principles of Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou as humans live to bring others to life. 2. Women empower their families by working hard and replacing their husbands in Mapalus work and also representing the family in various community activities. 3. Women are empowered in social and economic life to increase family income and welfare.

Abstract

Setiap orang pernah mengalami kecemasan dalam hidupnya, yang dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kemampuannya dalam bekerja. Beberapa studi telah dilakukan terkait kecemasan pada mahasiswa. Kecemasan tersebut dapat disebabkan karena berbagai alasan, seperti tuntutan akademik, beban tugas, ambisi berprestasi, ujian. Salah satu faktor penyebab kecemasan adalah pikiran irasional. Individu cenderung yang mengalami kecemasan cenderung melebih-lebihkan suatu ancaman atau peristiwa atau khawatir akan terjadi sesuatu yang buruk.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan intervensi Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) pada mahasiswa magister untuk menurunkan kecemasan dengan belajar berpikiran rasional dalam menghadapi tesis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Jumlah sampel ialah 4 orang. Efektivitas terapi dilihat dari evaluasi kuantitatif menggunakan subtes anxiety pada DASS untuk mengetahui tingkat kecemasan. Terdapat penurunan skor pada skala yang digunakan, yang menunjukkan bahwa Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) dapat dikatakan efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan dalam menghadapi tesis pada Mahasiswa Magister.

Abstract

The sources of Islam are the Quran and the Hadith. However, when interpreting legal verses, not all use Tafsir Bi Al-Ma'tsur, which essentially means non-negotiable legal issues. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Tafsir Bi Al-Ma'tsur in Indonesia, which was only applied to laws concerning marriage, religious courts, waqf (waqf), Islamic banking, and zakat. This research employed a qualitative method. The researcher consulted sources on Islamic law, the history of Islamic law in Indonesia, Tafsir Bi Al-Ma'tsur, and other related matters. The results of this study indicate that Islamic law with Tafsir Bi Al-Ma'tsur in Indonesia has not had much influence. The existing laws in Indonesia are influenced by colonial nations, and Indonesia is also a country with diverse ethnicities and religions. This is why Tafsir Bi Al-Ma'tsur has not had much influence on Indonesian law.

Abstract

Dysthymia, or Persistent Depressive Disorder, is a milder form of depression that lasts for years. This condition can cause problems in daily life and a decreased quality of life. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach proven effective in treating various mood disorders, including dysthymia. This study discusses the case of a 17-year-old female adolescent diagnosed with dysthymia and with an IQ of 70, thus categorized as borderline intellectual functioning. Symptoms that appeared were suicidal thoughts, hopelessness, low self-confidence, and fatigue. The client's condition was worsened by limited problem-solving abilities and inflexible thinking patterns. The assessments used were the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory (MACI), SSCT (Sack's Sentence Completion Test), CFIT (Culture Fair Intelligence Test), and Graphic Tests (BAUM, DAP, HTP) which were used to determine the client's cognitive and emotional functioning. The intervention was structured, focusing on emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and improving coping skills. The intervention was repeated and simplified according to the client's understanding and interests. Results showed improvements in emotional regulation and social skills, improved self-perception, and reduced suicidal thoughts. These results indicate that CBT is effective and can be adapted for borderline intellectual functioning clients with dysthymia using simpler methods.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ialah sebuah bagian dari gangguan neurodevelopmental yang dicirikan melalui defisit pada komunikasi, interaksi sosial, pola perilaku atau keterbatsan aktivitas dan repetitif. ASD sedikit banyaknya memberikan disfungsi bagi kehidupan penyandangnya. Model Biopsikososial dapat membantu dalam membahas secara komprehensif dinamika psikologis dan faktor penyebab individu mengalami ASD. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah seorang anak laki-laki berusia 8 tahun yang mengidap ASD. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui beberapa asesmen, yakni observasi, wawancara (orang tua dan guru), serta pemeriksaan psikologis. Adapun pemeriksaan psikologis yang diberikan adalah Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS), Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) dan Observasi terstruktur menggunakan Developmental Milestone Chart. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini dapat menggambarkan dinamika psikologis individu yang mengalami ASD. Tidak hanya penggambaran secara biologis, psikologis dan sosial, namun juga dijelaskan menggunakan area-area (predisposing, precipitating dan perpetuating) yang dapat menguraikan perjalanan gangguan pada ASD secara lebih komprehensif. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan bahwa peran keterlibatan orang tua sangat signifikan terhadap perkembangan positif anak dengan ASD, baik stimulasi maupun imitasi penerapan terapi di rumah.

Abstract

Retardasi mental merupakan kondisi yang terjadi sebelum seseorang mencapai usia 18 tahun, ditandai dengan keterbatasan yang signifikan dalam fungsi intelektual dan perilaku adaptif, termasuk keterampilan konseptual, sosial, dan praktis Anak yang mengalami retardasi mental biasanya kesulitan dalam membina hidup sehari-hari yang berkaitan dengan mengurus diri, menolong diri. Kemampuan merawat diri disebut dengan istilah self-help atau self-care, yaitu kemampuan merawat diri atau menolong diri sendiri atau memelihara diri sendiri dengan kegiatan; makan, minum, menjaga kebersihan, berpakaian atau berhias diri, dan orientasi ruang yang penting diajarkan pada anak yang mengalami gangguan retardasi mental mengingat bahwa anak harus hidup mandiri dan tidak tergantung kepada orang lain. Behavior Modification bertujuan untuk mengubah suatu perilaku yang maladaptif menjadi lebih adaptif sehingga hal tersebut dapat meningkatkan beberapa aspek dalam kehidupan seseorang. Pada kasus ini, behavior modification akan dilakukan dalam mengembangkan perilaku yang diinginkan, dimana klien akan diajarkan keterampilan dalam menjaga kebersihan selama menstruasi. Hasil pemberian intervensi menggunakan psikoedukasi dan modifikasi perilaku menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam kemampuan bantu diri klien terutama dalam melakukan manajemen kebersihan selama menstruasi.

Abstract

Informal caregivers are not only at risk to physical health problems but also mental health problems as they take care of patients, especially during COVID-19 pandemic. This is caused by changes in daily activities routine and structure as well as the increased burden in taking care the patients as the consequence of reduced access to formal health services. However the role of informal caregiver is often underappreciated. The study aims to describe the mental health condition of informal caregivers in taking care the patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. The reviews were conducted on two sites which prove the online journals, they are Google Scholar and ScienceDirect and it found nine journal research. The nine journals were evaluated using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses). The findings show that mental health condition of informal caregivers can be observed from emotional, cognitive, and behavioral variables, with the aspects such as anxiety, fear, distress, depression, quality of life, telehealth, suicidal ideation, health protocol, and changes in lifestyle. Whether caregiving duties during COVID-19 pandemic solely cause mental health problems for informal caregivers remains unclear. Findings from this research are expected to facilitate upcoming research, especially in psychological variables related to informal caregivers who take care patients in the time of COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Guilt is defined as part of the negative emotions that arises related to the conflict between work and family, especially in working mothers. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the consequences of guilt in working mothers due to role conflict or efforts to balance the roles. The Arksey and O’Malley (2005) framework was used as the study methodology which included searching four databases namely Scopus, WoS, Emerald, and Science Direct. A review of 10 out of 894 published articles identified three categories of consequences related to guilt such as (1) consequences for child care, (2) consequences for work, and (3) consequences for theindividual. The results from this review would provide a more comprehensive understanding of the consequences of guilt experienced by working mothers. These insights were valuable for practitioners, experts, and policymakers. Additionally, it could serve as a foundation for further and in-depth publications such as intervention or qualitative studies exploring the individual experiences of working mothers in greater detail.

Abstract

This study aims to understand PAUD teachers' understanding of the 2013 curriculum and implement it in learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in this study are informants of TK Bina Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten and administrative documents. The research data is analyzed by means of data reduction, data display and data verification / examination (conclusion drawing). From the data analysis carried out, it was concluded that the level of understanding of the Bina Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten teacher's understanding of the curriculum 2013 was good including understanding the understanding and structure of the curriculum 2013. Understanding in implementing the curriculum 2013 was also good with the existence of an appropriate RPPH, implementing learning according to children's development , the use of a scientific approach in the implementation of learning, assessment using the curriculum 2013 assessment. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dalam pemahaman guru PAUD mengenai kurikulum 2013 dan mengimplementasikannya dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah informan guru TK Bina Tunas Bangsa dan dokumen-dokumen adminitrasi. Data penelitian ini diolah secara analisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data (display) dan verivikasi/ pemeriksaan data (conclusion drawing). Dari analisa data yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tingkat pemahaman guru paud TK Bina Tunas Bangsa tentang kurikulum 2013 sudah baik meliputi pemahaman pengertian dan struktur kurikulum 2013. Pemahaman dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 juga sudah baik dengan adanya RPPH yang sudah sesuai, pelaksanaan pembelajaran sesuai perkembangan anak, penggunaan pendekatan saintifik dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian dengan menggunakan penilaian kurikulum 2013.
