Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of occupational safety and health in the Main Building of Campus IV of Ahmad Dahlan University. The methodology used included direct inspection and data collection through questionnaires distributed to officers and building users. The results showed that although most areas in the building have met occupational safety and health standards, there are still some shortcomings that need to be corrected. In particular, the security and safety aspects of officers and equipment require improvement. In addition, regular inspections are needed to ensure the quality of the working environment is maintained. An effective OHS Inspection Program is seen as an important preventive measure to ensure a safe, healthy and secure working environment for all building occupants. The findings are expected to provide recommendations for improving the occupational safety and health system at Campus IV of Ahmad Dahlan University.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Bahasa Arab dengan Penerapan Metode Mustaqilli yang berisikan lebih sedikit kaidah dan lebih banyak praktek pembentukan kalimat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dikembangkan berdasarkan pengalaman selama mengajar Bahasa Arab dengan Buku Mustaqilli. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas 3 Madrasah Aliyah Diniyyah Takmiliyyah Pondok Pesantren Asshidiqiyyah Jakarta. Implementasi Metode Mustaqilli menggunakan buku Dasar-Dasar Mustaqilli dan buku Metode Mustaqilli. Adapun kendala pelaksanaan metode Mustaqilli yaitu siswa memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Metode Mustaqilli berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Bahasa Arab. Penerapan metode ini tepat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa di bidang Bahasa Arab.

Abstract

The course on Models & Learning Strategies is a crucial component in the teacher education program, aimed at equipping students with the ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective learning processes. This study aims to analyze the implementation of this course in enhancing the pedagogical competence of students at Ma’had ‘Aly Sa’idusshidiqiyah Jakarta. A qualitative approach using a case study was employed, with data collected through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the pedagogical competence of the students is good, as seen from their microteaching practice results, where the majority earned an A, with only 2 students receiving a B out of 21 students. This competence is reflected in the students' ability to understand the subject matter, plan, implement, and evaluate the learning process effectively. These findings highlight the importance of mastering models & learning strategies to enhance the practical skills of students in creating creative, interactive, and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify the key factors influencing non-Muslim consumers’ preferences for halal food products in Palu, Indonesia, focusing on knowledge, attitudes, pricing, accessibility, social influence, trust in certification, and consumption experience..Design/methodology: A quantitative, cross-sectional survey was conducted with 117 non-Muslim respondents in Palu. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire adapted from validated instruments and analyzed using SPSS (version 29). The analysis involved descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), and multiple linear regression with t-test and F-test to examine the relationships between variables and purchasing decisions.Findings: The results reveal that knowledge negatively influences purchasing decisions, whereas positive attitudes, accessibility, social influence, trust in halal certification, and consumption experience significantly enhance the likelihood of choosing halal products among non-Muslim consumers.Practical Implication: The findings suggest that marketers should reframe halal knowledge into practical benefits (health, hygiene, quality), improve accessibility, strengthen social engagement, and enhance trust through credible certification to increase adoption among non-Muslim consumers.Originality/Value: This study integrates consumer behavior theory, the Theory of Planned Behavior, and post-disaster consumer dynamics to explain halal consumption among non-Muslims in a multicultural setting, using a rigorous SPSS-based analytical approach.

Abstract

Education serves as a cornerstone in building a high-quality society, where teachers play a pivotal role in creating effective learning environments and delivering instructional content. However, many prospective teachers face limitations in gaining adequate practical experience before entering real-world teaching scenarios. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR)-assisted Microteaching as an innovative approach to enhance the teaching skills of future educators. Employing a quantitative research design, the study adopts descriptive verification methods through ex post facto and survey approaches. The findings indicate a significant improvement in teaching skills, classroom management, and self-confidence among participants utilizing VR-assisted Microteaching compared to traditional methods. VR technology facilitates realistic and interactive teaching simulations, allowing prospective teachers to engage in diverse scenarios without the stress of real classroom environments. This research underscores the transformative potential of integrating VR technology into teacher education programs to address gaps in conventional training methods and better prepare educators for the complexities of contemporary teaching challenges.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/E3J/v7.i2.230-234

Abstract

The aim of translation is to transfer meaning from the source language to the target language. There are some methods that can be used in translating the text, one of them is faithful translation. Faithful translation method is a method that reproduces the exact contextual meaning of the original within the limits of the grammatical structures of the target language. This study focuses on analyzing faithful translation methods in the webtoon “I Love Yoo”. The objective of this study is to identify how the faithful translation method is applied in translating webtoon Ï Love Yoo”. The method applied in this study is qualitative descriptive method and the data were taken from the 1st to 10th episode of webtoon “I Love Yoo”. The data collected were analyzed by reading both versions of the webcomic, classified each sentence according to the translation methods and explained why the sentences are included into each translation method. To analyze the data, this study used the theory translation method proposed by Newmark (1988). It is found that 8 translation methods were applied but faithful translation method is most frequently used because the translator translates cultural terms and maintains the degree of grammatical and lexical faithfully to the intentions and the text-realisation of the source language writer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Premium Plus Laundry Cabang Mulawarman Semarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan (lingkungan internal) serta peluang dan ancaman (lingkungan eksternal) usaha Premium Plus Laundry Cabang Mulawarman, Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Tenik analisis yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber, medote dan narasi data. Pemilihan informan didasarkan pada prinsip kesesuaian dan kecukupan. Sebanyak 6 orang informan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kekuatan usaha terdiri dari adanya segmentasi pasar yang baik, kualitas pelayanan yang memuaskan, desain packaging yang praktis, pelayanan tambahan (Parfum premium), distribusi gratis, lokasi strategis. Sedangkan kelemahan usaha tersebut antara lain pengetahuan teknologi kurang, SDM tidak memadai, distribusi tidak tepat, dan efesiensi waktu kurang. Peluang usaha terdiri dari lokasi usaha yang strategis, networking, perkembangan teknologi, berubahnya gaya hidup masyarakat, perubahan cuaca.Selanjutnya ancaman usaha tersebut terdiri dari tingkat persaingan tinggi dan loyalitas konsumen rendah.  Kata Kunci: Kekuatan, Kelemahan, Peluang, Ancaman

Abstract

This research aims to interpret romantic themes in Counting Crows’ Accidentally in Love by revealing the meaning of love in the lyrics of the song. It employs a descriptive qualitative research design to identify and interpret the meaning of the song. The primary data of this research was obtained from Counting Crows’ Accidentally in Love and secondary data from internet webs, journal articles, textbooks, and other online resources. The data was analyzed by using Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis which consists of six steps: (a) familiarizing with the data; (b) generating initial codes; (c) searching for themes; (d) reviewing themes; (e) defining and naming themes; and (f) producing the report. The data was also interpreted by using Roland Barthes’ semiotic concept: denotation, connotation, and myth. The result of the research reveals that the song describes the author's feeling of being in accidental love when he does not know anything about love before. His feelings and experiences are associated with falling in love unexpectedly, including chaos, happiness, uncertainty, courage, hope, and magic. The meaning of his love in this song is an experience that is unexpected, full of excitement, and sometimes chaotic, but also provides deep meaning and happiness.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KUKERTA) di Dusun Senamat, Kecamatan Pelepat, Kabupaten Bungo, Provinsi Jambi, bertujuan untuk memperkuat peranan masyarakat dalam pengembangan pendidikan Agama Islam dan menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman serta membekali generasi muda dengan keterampilan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Program utama yang dilaksanakan adalah kaderisasi pemulasaran jenazah, yang meliputi pelatihan memandikan, mengkafani, dan menyolati jenazah bagi remaja di Dusun Senamat. Program ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang mana dalam pelaksanaannya mahasiswa dan masyarakat berperan aktif. Peserta kaderisasi menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dan memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap program ini. Mereka menyadari pentingnya ilmu pemulasaran jenazah dalam kehidupan sosial keagamaan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan persepsi di kalangan remaja, yang sebelumnya kurang memperhatikan aspek keagamaan, kini lebih peduli dan berkeinginan untuk mendalami ilmu agama. Dengan adanya kaderisasi ini, diharapkan keberlanjutan edukasi keagamaan di Dusun Senamat semakin meningkat serta dapat menciptakan generasi yang lebih religius dan siap berkontribusi dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country and requires the development of improvements in soil productivity. The decline in soil productivity for agriculture is currently caused by several factors, namely land conversion to a decrease in the quantity of ground water. The actual frequency pattern of irrigation water needs with the application of dielectric sensor technology is carried out in cultivation in order to create efficiency in the provision of irrigation water. This research was conducted using a single factor experimental method with repeated measurements on three types of land use, namely land without vegetation, soil with grass vegetation, and soil with tomato cultivation. Measurements were carried out using an automated application of soil moisture monitoring based on dielectric technology with two measuring periods. Each measuring period consists of two weeks or fourteen days. Soil sample analysis was carried out at the Bengkulu University soil laboratory. The results of the observations were analyzed using variance (ANOVA) on the 5% F test table, the BNT test was carried out at the 5% level on data that had a significant effect. The results showed that the frequency of giving irrigation water on the 1st day to the 14th day in the 2 observation periods on the Bera land was the most common compared to the use of grass vegetated land and the use of tomato cultivation land, which was 5 times in the 1st and 4th periods. times in the 2nd period with 14 days each. Provision of irrigation water will stop automatically when the dielectrometer shows the field capacity so that it can show the frequency of giving different water to each field.Key words : Dielectric; Frequency; Irrigation water
